did anyone else know that this was coming? I saw a commercial for it early this morning. Thats weird bc they usually run it after the current season of RR and/or RW. I guess I'll have to check it out since RR and RW no longer hold my interests

I haven't watched this RR season at all. The whole concept didn't really interest me. I wish they'd go back to the old ways. I liked the last few years of it (South Pacific, Xtreme).

I'll probably check out Inferno 3. I'm not excited that TJ Lavin is back. IMO, he's an awful host. He doesn't really know what he's talking about, and sometimes he seems to almost provoke the players. The cast seems to be made up of a lot of newbies (Denver- Colie, Jenn, Davis, Tyrie, and Key West- Paula, Janelle, Tyler, and John)

I'm loving the Inferno 3 so far! I think they have a great cast, although some more vets would be good (Coral, Mike, Katie, Veronica, Rachel, Shane, etc.). At least we don't have to go through another round of Kina, which makes me very happy.

The Bad Asses are totally going to win this season, and if they don't, I'll truly be shocked. They're so much bigger and stronger than the Good Guys.

Danny's improved a lot this season. He seems to be more well-liked with Melinda not around. Does anyone know if they're still together? I hated that shomance!

Eh, the Bad Asses/Good Guys cast from the Inferno II was much better, as was the Veterans vs. Rookies cast from Gauntlet II.

The Bad Asses were truly evil bitches and bastards last time. We had the likes of Abe, Beth, Dan, Rachel, Tina (when she was the least bit entertaining), Tonya, and Veronica. A lotta people don't like Rachel, Tonya, and Veronica, but they make the show for me. Any of them can whoop Kina Dean's ass, that's for sure.

The Bad Asses this time around are not as interesting. I like Janelle, Kenny, Abe, Tonya, and Aneesa, and I like Tyrie from Denver too, but it's NOWHERE near the same as Inferno II. I might actually like more Good Guys this time around...let's see...Davis, John from KW, Paula Walnuts, Ace, and Timmy...nearly equal! Not very good.

I think that they are broken up. Which is a good thing because she was so whiny.

Timmy is the only person that I like who still continues to come back. If anyone is older than me, they shouldn't do these anymore and should get a real job. Timmy, I can tolerate and is the only person from the real old ones that I want back. Except maybe Emily but only if Veronica is on as well. Catfight!!!

Danny still annoys me and comes across as an arrogant prick but then again Im biased against him.

CT is a dumbass. He put Tina to shame in that first episode. Thank god he's gone and Derrick is back. Derrick is my favorite on the challenge and I always love seeing him. Hopefully he can make it to the end. He deserves it more than anyone.

I hate how this and recent seasons seem to be more and more about the news seasons of RR/RW. I guess the other castmates have moved on with age, but I miss seeing alot of the older personalities

Im rooting for the Bad Asses. I see more on that team taht I actually like. The Good Guys for the most part just seem boring

I say Tonya on a skinemax movie one night. I was channel surfing and caght the tail end of the movie. I didn't recognize her at first but it was definitly her. She played a super model who screws the photographer and the male model. I got a really good laugh out of that.

    • -- Tamara Tunie was good today, but can we hold back on handing out Emmys? I'm not seeing that yet. -- So Anita has Barbara's entire letter committed to memory, yet it took her DECADES to reach out to Tracy and Sharon? Uh....ok. I don't get the impression that THE DUPREES spent a lot of time thinking about the little people. -- We again heard "Articulettes Strong," this time in the letter. Make it stop already. -- I'll wait and see on this "Anita's Sin" story. My bottom line is that it's unfair to point blame when someone takes his/her own life. -- I thought Tomas looked fine af in that suit today, and that the fit was perfect. -- Why is Basic Ashley kissing her boyfriend while at work in the hospital? I find that inappropriate and ridiculous. Ashley still doesn't act like someone in love. -- The 3-way conversation among Ashley, Derek, and Andre was awkward as hell. -- Hayley was embarrassing for taking her pregnancy test to Dani's. Dani is embarrassing to harp on it. These two need to stay away from each other. -- Dani treats Andre like crap. What he sees in her beyond the physical, I have no idea. No way is either of these two in love. -- Also clueless? Bill and Hayley for thinking Naomi would love hearing about the pregnancy.
    • Susan Lucci was on bereavement vacation because her on screen mom had recently passed away so she was off canvas when this tornado occurred.
    • Thanks @YRfan23 Wow I didn’t realize the cast has gotten that tiny either which is absolutely pitiful.    Surprised that Budig is still on as Taylor barely watched any lol tbh but nonr of the recent daily recaps ever mention her anymore I figured she was out the door soon.
    • I love the yellow bumpers with the crew lol. That's Donna Lewis as the music at the beginning! I haven't heard her in ages. R.J. and Tea were so hot and so underrated. I remember seeing the bit with the Buchanan men promising to show Max a good time in his bedroom and it's still hysterical.
    • I think a lot would've gotten over it the same way they got over the Trina recast, especially since it became swiftly clear NAC is never coming back. The key issue, we agree, is Frank. As long as Trina is onscreen he's not touching that. As for Nikolas, honestly I'd kill him off. Adam Huss has done a wonderful job in a very difficult situation but I don't think he has leading man power for a soap opera (not because he's gay, but he's very intense and I don't think it translates to potential lighter or romantic material; his flirting with Ava briefly was strange) and I was holding out for Tyler to recover and return someday. I am not interested in Nikolas #5 or 6.
    • AlwaysAMC - Your posts are a crack up; they make me laugh.  Thanks.  I especially like how detailed you get enthused about something, and how you curtly and flippantly you reject that which you find subpar.  LOL.   What's great about Annie is her increasing rooting value as time goes on.   I often wanted Annie to be victorious.  Watros infuses her with an energy and a vulnerability that really works, even at times when neither should. Soap viewers often remember and talk about the Big Moments, which is fine, but what I also find really interesting is the 1-2 week time frame that follows the Big Moment.  Later, there are scenes between Annie and Rick involving a trip to the hospital (no way am I telling you why and what happens - hopefully no one does) that I think are as well done as the Big Moment.  Astonishing stuff. Oh..and to reiterate...I ain't telling you sh*t.  You'll just have to suffer!  Ain't anticipation grand?  LOL.
    • @alwaysAMC Glad you made it to the soft rock theme. I share your disgust for the Gilly story, as many viewers did. Gilly was never a big character, but she was a part of why the early '90s feel real and different for GL, and she deserved a much better exit. This was also the last worthwhile role Amelia Marshall had on daytime (I don't even know if Passions fans would disagree). This was also Petronia Paley's only major chance at story and as someone who always appreciated her work, I'm sorry it did not go better for her. And I liked Charles Ewing a great deal on Loving, so I was even more unhappy with how they treated Griffin. It's a deeply offensive role, in many ways.  As for slapping, you may enjoy this, if you are able to find anything onscreen underneath all the ham. It really goes into hysteria in the second clip. As a bonus, you also get a quick glimpse of why the Billy and Mindy recasts were not accepted by viewers. One positive I will say about this clip is that it's one of the few times I remember the show making clear that Roger was able to defend himself if he had to do so.
