Members Tishy
I love how I get a call from my work telling us that we have to report to work tomorrow despite the fact that the roads to get there are washed out. It's still raining and the river near my work is predicted to go over the banks. Yet they want us to go to work. Can someone explain that to me? Members NaVell J. Lee
i seriously would call out, if that happened to me....if I had no way of making it to my job b/c of that, I wouldn't go at all.
Members Tishy
Ubfortuantely, when they call us in like this, if we call out we have to be in what is considered a disaster area. I don't live in one, I am on high ground. My company also owns a busing service so they would pick us up somewhere and bus us in unless it was impossible and they called us back to tell us to come in. If we call out, we have to be in a disaster area or have a doctor's note. Otherwise, we are fired.

Members JER Soaps Fan
I'm not going to kill anyone over it, but I would think I shouldn't be the only one who is very offended that Disney specifically singled out girls. What, ONLY girls' dreams can come true?! What, so I should give up hope on my dreams? Or boys who see the ad for Disney on Ice should give up hope in THEIR personal dreams too?! It's repulsive, and frankly, I'm shocked that Disney, of all entities, would run such a blatantly sexist ad!
Members JER Soaps Fan
Whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, wait. Is this a real movie? Like, he's REALLY gay? And in 1934?!!! OH, it looks so campy and I know I'd love it if this is for real. Or is it something lame like "The Gay Divorcee" and he's haha "gay," as in happy and horny all the time? For women? And just has a great zest for life -- again, very lame? Because I'm interested!
Members JER Soaps Fan
But my original identity isn't that! lol. My original identity, on SON, is secret. And even that may not be my original identity since that was in the very beginning, 2001 or 2002, whenever this place began. JERSoapsFan pretty much was created right after JER started penning both "Days" and "Passions." I was JackKrizmanichfan before that, as a parody of how awful that "actor" on "Passions" was -- as if someone that talentless and completely lacking in sex appeal could even have fans. And THANKS for the phantom Erica pic! I remember being intrigued by that story. i watched for a bit back then -- of course that was YEARS before I would come "home" to Pine Valley in a commitment ceremony to show my devotion and fandom. And with the DIVINE Martina McBride, right?!!! Oh, I planned on watching this one too, since country is HARD to pass off if your heart's not in it. And I would RELISH seeing Sanjaya CHOKE. Dammit!!!!! WHY ME, LORD!!!
