I love how I get a call from my work telling us that we have to report to work tomorrow despite the fact that the roads to get there are washed out. It's still raining and the river near my work is predicted to go over the banks. Yet they want us to go to work. Can someone explain that to me?

Ubfortuantely, when they call us in like this, if we call out we have to be in what is considered a disaster area. I don't live in one, I am on high ground. My company also owns a busing service so they would pick us up somewhere and bus us in unless it was impossible and they called us back to tell us to come in. If we call out, we have to be in a disaster area or have a doctor's note. Otherwise, we are fired.

I'm not going to kill anyone over it, but I would think I shouldn't be the only one who is very offended that Disney specifically singled out girls. What, ONLY girls' dreams can come true?! What, so I should give up hope on my dreams? Or boys who see the ad for Disney on Ice should give up hope in THEIR personal dreams too?! It's repulsive, and frankly, I'm shocked that Disney, of all entities, would run such a blatantly sexist ad!

Whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, wait. Is this a real movie? Like, he's REALLY gay? And in 1934?!!! OH, it looks so campy and I know I'd love it if this is for real.

Or is it something lame like "The Gay Divorcee" and he's haha "gay," as in happy and horny all the time? For women? And just has a great zest for life -- again, very lame?

Because I'm interested!

But my original identity isn't that! lol.

My original identity, on SON, is secret. And even that may not be my original identity since that was in the very beginning, 2001 or 2002, whenever this place began.

JERSoapsFan pretty much was created right after JER started penning both "Days" and "Passions." I was JackKrizmanichfan before that, as a parody of how awful that "actor" on "Passions" was -- as if someone that talentless and completely lacking in sex appeal could even have fans. :)

And THANKS for the phantom Erica pic! I remember being intrigued by that story. i watched for a bit back then -- of course that was YEARS before I would come "home" to Pine Valley in a commitment ceremony to show my devotion and fandom.

OH, DEAR MERCIFUL LORD!!!

You just reminded me -- I missed "Idol" on freakin' COUNTRY night! And with the DIVINE Martina McBride, right?!!! Oh, I planned on watching this one too, since country is HARD to pass off if your heart's not in it. And I would RELISH seeing Sanjaya CHOKE.

Dammit!!!!! WHY ME, LORD!!! :(

    • This "3 Love Stories" episode was like taking a sleeping pill with a bottle of Nyquil. Josh Griffith is writing for 80-year olds with blue hair.
    • I guess in terms of Phillip's woman du jour coming in third behind Beth and Spaulding, that's true. But she sure wasn't either MKA or even Liz Dennehy. Was Bolger still in the role at the beginning of Phillip/Chelsea?
    • -- The coming out stuff was well-written and acted, but can't we at least hear someone tell Chelsea she needs to find a girl (or boy) who isn't frickin MARRIED? How is that not a huge fail on her part? She was willing to wreck a marriage to get herself a new boo. -- Dani can't have it both ways -- wanting Andre when she wants him but not wanting a relationship. He needs to leave her dry. -- The Dani/Pamela kiss was a plot device, but I get why they did it. I still think Cady McClain is overacting like crazy. -- Sean Freeman is good as Andre, but geez, his expertise on how relationships work is hard to listen to. He is not that guy. -- Ashley continues to be horribly written and badly played. I've grown to really dislike the character to the point of supporting Derek. -- The closing montage with Ashley and Derek looking at their phones was cool out of context. In context? We just saw Naomi lecture Derek about what to say to Ashley and how to move forward. So why in the hell did he go back to the fire station? Why not go back home? Made no sense. -- The writers are not giving Hayley enough. She's islanded. -- The Leslie/Eva scenes are still great. We get to see this complete mind control that Leslie has over Eva. We know that everything Leslie says is selfish and incriminating and awful, yet it's easy to understand why Eva falls for it.
    • Imagine having to do that in one take
    • I can't remember who or how many people here have said it, but thanks to this site, I can't not think of the Nurse's Ball as akin to a school talent show.
    • It’s a 2025 spin and meshing of both. I love that it also makes her stand out in comparison to all the other women. Like she and Chelsea could not have more differing styles. I applaud the costume designer.
    • Am I the only one that fast forwards the Nurse’s Ball performances? I watched one year and it was the most cringe thing I’d ever sat through. In general I hating singing and performances on soaps, especially bad ones.
    • And both knew how to dress.  I feel Kat is a good mix of both.
    • I wonder if Xander will mention Sarah's history of mental illness in determining custody?

I understand that she has the upper hand now, but if Philip refuses to name his assailant, that won't last for long. Although, it would be odd if two characters are complicit with their attackers.  Yet, as Brady mentioned regarding the baseball bat incident from a few months ago, Xander has gotten away with a lot.  It is almost like he is a billionaire who is above the law. I assume we're meant to hope Xander and Sarah get back together, but today showed that there are just as many reasons for them to stay apart.
    • Blair Waldorf was my spirit animal in college. I was OBSESSED. The slow burn of her and Chuck omg.    Also she has clear influences from Hillary on Fresh Prince of Bel Air as well.
