I thought the Lily stuff was funny. She wanted to backmail Barbara, but her honesty got the best of her. It was great when she told Barbara exactly how she felt.

I didn't care for the birthday stuff with Miranda and Little Adam.

The Bianca/Zoe kiss was interesting.

About the Wildwind scenes:

How old are Del, Julia, and Di supposed to be? Del was around in the '90s - supposedly in his late 20s. I guess he's been de-aged. I don't want this taken the wrong way, but Julia seems too old for these types of scenes. I guess she's like the den mother of the group, but this college dorm dialog seems so below her. Her pairing with Jamie was weird at first because I remember when Julia was originally on the show, with Jamie being 5 or 6! I’m used to them now; I even started to enjoy them together, but I still long for Noah to return from the dead.

Turning Wildwind into a dorm was a silly idea. Having Jonathan live there is ridiculous and disgusting. What they should have done is taken the characters in their late teens/early 20s - like Dani and Amanda - and have them living at Myrtle's.

Isn't funny to think that in 1996, Julia was happily married to Noah, and Jamie was a little boy drowing in a river being saved by Janet!

Jules is definetly the oldest in the group. I think Di is supposed to be Jules' age, but Kelli is not even as old as Jacob Young! I think Di, Jules, and Annie are around the same age, thus their girlfriend moments.

Del definetly found the fountain of youth. He and Amanda must be the youngest in the group. Aidan and Jonny are somewhere in the middle.

In terms of the Cooney kids in general, I know it has to be Lanie, Will, then Dix in order of age. Del is younger than all three. I think Di is older than Del. I wish did take place at the Fargate Boarding house instead of Wildwind. Wildwind did always have a lot of young'ns running around, but at least they were all related.

    • A--I wish someone would post a better vid of the entire ball, as it must be out there. And B--nope. Evie is only in a small segment of the ball with Phillip, Rick and Mindy. She doesn't dance at all. Ross dances with Helena and Amanda. I'm not even sure why Evie is at the ball---Vanessa heartily disliked her. I did see that Billy actually asked Henry to introduce him to Vanessa, which I hadn't realized.
    • Honestly, they should've ordered more of 2000 Malibu Road for the 1992-93 midseason and aired it when Knots went on a break. That was probably their best shot.    Then of course they fumbled Central Park West by airing it in the 9PM slot instead of a 10PM slot where it would've been away from the Fox dramas. CPW got its best rating by airing randomly on a Sunday and when it was taken off the air for a "re-tooling", Party of Five's ratings actually had a spike, so clearly they were feeding off each other. But being a smaller network focused on a certain demographic, Fox could afford to be patient Party of Five, CBS couldn't...
    • Agree on Bruce Gray as Owen; they needed to cast star power. He was too lightweight against Kim and he had no chemistry with Frances Fischer except more gay buddy or daddy figure.  I loved Nola and Eliot together though. Lee Godart should have been longer term.
    • Andre has the worst fashion of the males which is off putting for someone as fine as he is. His jackets and sweaters look dated and no vintage does not work for him
    • I don’t recall MSW having a toy line in the late 80’s or early 90’s like all those Saturday morning cartoons did LOL but thought this was cute when I saw it in a vintage toy store yesterday:

    • Copying and pasting pasting this here as to not to derail the KL thread lol Wow I forgot CBS actually did try multiple attempts to come up with a soapy replacement for Knots on Thursday nights in the 10/9 slots for the 93-94 season.   Angel Falls had promise but CBS didn’t give it a fair chance. Latham’s Second Chances got even worse ratings than Angel Falls and wasn’t given a second chance when the Northridge quake destroyed the show’s sets. One West Waikiki looked gorgeous but was a blink you missed it affair. Finally we got Hotel Malibu, a quasi follow-up to Second Chances that stayed as the summer replacement series it was. CBS switched gears and had Chicago Hope air in the slot…against ER. It made the Top 30 but obviously underperformed below expectations. CBS gave up, and gave us 48 Hours for years there. It wasn’t until the 2002-03 season when CBS finally produced a Top 20 show for that spot with Without A Trace against an aging ER.
    • Of course I join in on wishing that Peacock & Corday & Sony would all together come to the conclusion that NOW would be a fine time to put some of these gems in the archive on full display!!! But, at the same time I'd like to give kudos to the fact that behind the scenes they've been doing the great work of preservation by taking tapes, etc. & converting them to modern digital formats. Besides the important fact of preserving them it means they are ready to go!
