According to the latest CBS SID,ATWT is negotiating with Shawn Christian for a return as Mike.A CBS insider says that Shawn is willing to return for a year,but the show wants him longer.

If they are secretly negotiating with him,I hope they can get him to stay at least two years to make it worth it.Meanwhile,in two seperate interviews,Mark C has stated he has no intentions of doing soaps again

I hope he does not sign with them I have had enough Mike Kasnoff and his boring character to last a lifetime, a different actor is not going to make the part any more interesting, Mike is just boring plain and simple.

I think the reps are blowing smoke with the denials.I can see where the show would want to keep his return hush hush for maximum affect when its announced.If he is returning ith will probably be in time for May sweeps.

I'm not a fan of SC, but if it gets rid of Austin Pec than I am al for it, at least SC will be familiar with old time ATWT fans

I'd rather he be brought on as a new character in a few months (after TIIC recognize their failure with AP's casting).

He needs to mix things up with some of the older women, since there's a drought in the older men department.

Because Christian's version of "Mike" was anything other than "boring". He was the ultimate bad boy. And quite the sex-pot.

I wouldnt mind having Shawn Christian back. It would reunite him with Carly. They were the two original couple. But if he signs on I hope it is more than a year because if not JP will write a horrible storyline for his short stay.

Shawn Christian is way better than Mark Collier, imo. MC's version was like watching wet paint dry. But I hate to see all that hotness wasted on Katie. I'd rather see her with Brad, so I wouldn't feel like I'm missing anything when I ff.

I'll admit I've never seen SC as Mike, but I just don't have any particular desire to see Mike back - in any form.

SC has this certain sexiness to him that MC didn't have as Mike. I would jump for joy if SC came back and probably start watching on a regular basis again. If they could bring back Cady McClain as Rosanna, they could steam up the screen. I am all for it!
