Paul's Well That Ends Well

"Never close a door," states Paul Leyden (Simon), wrapping up his six month stint on ATWT this week. "You're an absolute ass if you ever do that."

The actor, who is shooting a few projects in Australia and just sold a horror script to Dark Castle Entertainment, definitely doesn't look at this latest return to ATWT as his last. "I feel a very strong sense of loyalty to this show," he smiles. "They've given me such a great home here in the States. If the time is right and it works out again, I won't hesitate to come back. Simon is Simon. He's a whirlwind."

In other words, he can blow back into Oakdale anytime.

Y'know, it's downright cruel to post this on Day Two of Simon: Finally Gone!!!

The article in the newest SOD just says he'll keep the door open. He's more in to writing, etc. But if he did come back, it would definitely be for a longer period of time. So, my guess is, we won't see him again unless he's totally a flop.

I know I pray for his success. LOL.

I used to love the character, but after the latest return, he became one of my least-favorite characters.

I'm sure we'll get a rumor every six months that the show is trying to lure Leyden back in SOD. He's ATWT's Vanessa Marcil.

Same here. This last return just ruined Simon once and for all for me. I don't want him back again, and definitely not any time soon.
