I think we're getting the Roman/Marlena scenes because Roman is really the secret assassain EJ referred to and he will be exposed because of his obsession with Marlena. Then the DiMeras will send an assassain after HIM and we will be rid of him forever and ever.

The apartment Max and Mimi were in was Shimi and Rex's old place I think.

Then where are the bedroom doors? The bedrooms in Shawn's old loft were along the back wall, but there were none in this apartment, which led me to think it was EJ's old apartment. It's definitely EJ/Nicole/Greta's old apartment. You can tell with the kitchen. They just closed off the middle hallway that was beside the kitchen. It's too small for Shawn's old loft. Hopefully, that's the case and EJ will now be homeless and have to take residence in the much-missed DiMera mansion

But I don't think they're going there... All Marlena was saying was how much she loves John.

That's not different from any other time.

I wouldn't worry about Roman/Marlena.

They will always interact but I didn't see it as nothing more then Roman being concerned.

I am suspicious of Roman though and have been for awhile. It would not surprise me if he were the secret assassin.
