Is Passions being cancelled?

What you talkin' 'bout? In the entire history of SON, there's never been a thread that was CREATED as a DAYS thread. Never, ever. It's just that some of them transform into DAYS threads and sooner or later, the original poster changes the title and their original post, and that's how DAYS threads are born.

It's a natural SON process. Just like how Rion will bug people for a few more days before he disappears, never to be heard from again.

Yes Mike, It does. You of all people should know NBC has NEVER cared about HH, they care about demos. And the fact of the matter is....PSNS demos are almost double those of The Today Show. So yes they are morons if they think a 4th hour of The Today Show is going to bring in the younger viewers.

Perhaps NBC is sick of touting their shows as #1 in 18-34 maybe they are gearing up for a big takeover in the 50+ demos

Not True

If it were true then please explain why ABC cancelled 'Crumbs' which was getting great HH numbers but sucked in demos. Or how about CBS's Out Of Practice which was cancelled because of poor 18-49 numbers even though the show was getting better HH ratings than Old Christine. And most recently "Smith" which had good HH's but terrible demos ;)

18-49 are your make or break numbers no matter if it's daytime or primetime.

I know the demo's myth as well because our generation has had that thrust upon us by NBC soaps but now that I have friends in the tv industry and the soaps industry, HH's and total viewers are the bottom line. And I know it for a fact. And I don't really care if every "soap insider" on the net comes out of the woodwork right now and says demo's are more important. They're not.
