I know many of you will be like "and....", but when your 35 and you get carded, it's a big deal. I stopped in at the store last night after work to pick up groceries and decided to get a couple of packs of smokes will I was at it --- and got carded for cigarrettes! I was tickled. I showed the lady my ID and her face dropped. She handed it back and started appologizing (of all things). I told her that there was no need to appologize -- I was thrilled! She said it was because she was only 2 years older than me. I love the fact that my hair is thinning and going gray and I can *still* get carded at 35!

It's amazing how pissed off people get when they get carded. I'd be happy too.

Have you ever been asked to put an adult on the phone when ordering pizza? I have, and I'm in my early 20s...I thought it was funny.

I'm going to be 30 in January and I still get carded. I love it!! It makes me thnk that maybe I'm not as old as I feel!!!

My 18th birthday was back in october and i went out to but a pack of cigarettes, because I could, and i was so pissed when they didnt card me! I was so disappointed, but now i get carded all the time when i go to movies or go to buy scratch tickets or lotto.

I used to work the door at the club(where I'm employed again) and I carded everyone for about two months. It took me that long to get to know all our regulars.

And needless to say, queens get pissy when you don't remember them.

I think many people get fooled by a person's age. I've always been told I look 10 years younger. And I still have all my thick hair.

Dang... Back when I was 16, and I didn't get carded at all. At 22, I'm getting carded more.
