My grandmother passed away

She went into the hospital this weekend and I saw it coming a mile away. I bawled on Sunday. Now, I'm numb. It won't hit me. I want it to hit me.

Keith, I am very sorry for your loss. I will keep you and your family in my prayers tonight.

So sad, Keith. My Gran passed away years ago and I still have an achey feeling when I think of her. There's nothing like the love of a grandmother.

I'm so sorry Keith. My grandma passed away about a year ago, and I'm still not over it. I was actually raised by her, so it was such a huge loss in my life. I understand completely the feelings that you're going through. For me, it didn't hit until her funeral...I had spent the few days after her death just talking to friends and acting like it was not a big deal, but at her funeral I just broke down in tears when we arrived at the church. I know that it's an awful experience when a loved one dies, even if it's someone who's lived a long life. :( Once the "numbness" goes away, it's really good to cry and let all your emotions out, and to just talk about it. The worst thing to do is to bottle it up inside.

I hope for the best for you and your family.

Poor guy...that is really sad that your Grandma passed away.

I hope you, and the rest of your loved ones, find peace after all this.
