Okay, it wasn't really his ITL even though they made us to believe it would be with all those JC promos. However, I really enjoyed this show and I wasn't expecting to.

I admit it. I hate the way Billy acts half the time. He's such a suckup to Reva and seems to just follow her around like a loyal puppy but today, I really liked the way they wrote Billy with more confidence. For once in a long time, he seemed to have waay better judgement than Reva. He was helping her and keeping her from flying off the handle. I thought Jordan Clarke was just great today.

Everyone probably knows by now how that I like Cassie and Nicole Forester. I think she's underrated and today, she just blew me away. It's unfortunate they've taken so long to bring up with Cassie's issues. They kinda have in the past but in this particular story, there was waay more focus on Reva and Josh. We all know why they're doing what they're doing. Today, we got a glimpse of who Cassie is and how she feels about her relationship with Reva. Some may argue that what they did today was a total rewrite but the acting did it for me..I was actually getting teary. NF just portrayed Cassie's quiet pain with such rawness. It just felt real. That scene with Cassie going on about how her foster mom made her life a living hell could have been done overdramatically but it wasn't. She played Cassie's pain as a kind of pain that one carries inside for a long time but doesn't really bother to tell anyone about. I also couldn't help but feel awful for Cassie when she mentioned that she started to feel she might be worth something when she met Reva. The Reva/Cassie dynamic has been broken with this Reva/Josh/Cassie triangle but I'm glad they are dealing with it more now.

I must be in the minority when I say I'm so over the Jonathan/Reva relationship because over the last few months, I've found them contrived and purely for show-value. As soon as Jonathan popped up in Reva's scene, I was expecting to hate it but surprise..I was impressed. I thought Tom Pelphrey did a great job playing childllike. I mean, how could anyone not find it remotely sweet that Jonathan & Reva would try to make up for lost time as pointless as it probably is at this point? I still hate how Reva keeps forcing Jonathan to make these promises to her and Jonathan makes them out of pure loyalty even if he doesn't want to. I just cannot stand selfish Reva in any way, shape, or form.

This ITL was really good because it focused on more than one relationship/character. It felt like an ensemble show and I felt the writing was more obviously character-driven today than it has been in quite a while.

Best moment of the show was when Reva was talking about going out like Thelma & Louise, renting a car and driving off into the lake and into eternity and Billy just looked at her and was like "um...I think we've already been there." rotlfmao. And can you believe that they 1/2 way referenced the Dreaming Death?! I like it when shows slip in little references like that that only people who *know* the show and it's history pick up on, but are *so* something that people would mentioned casually if the topic of conversation warrented.

I agree that Cassie was really good in this episode. She's really opening herself up to Josh and it seems so clear to me that she is going to get her heart handed back to her in little pieces.

I want to see Reva and Billy tie the knot for real and make a go of it for awhile, instead of it being just a shame marriage to fool Josh and Cassie.

Th e strange thing is that for awhile Reva seemed like she was on death's door and now she seems fine. This story is just dragging on and on. It kind of makes me wonder if they will go the stem cell route with Lizzie and Jon's baby and the baby won't make it. So basically the Reva story has slowed down so Lizzie's baby can continue to stand in the way of Jammy a bit longer and then be killed off when that story is played out.

Yeah, I didn't like Billy & Reva before but Billy is starting to look more than just Reva's servant now and the only time I can stand Reva is when she's in scenes with him. I'm getting sick of this see-saw TPTB are taking us with in terms of who we're supposed to root for: Reva/Josh or Josh/Cassie.

I also totally agree that Reva doesn't look at all sick. So much for making this story believable. I guess they are going to wait until Lizzie's about to pop to do a stem cell storyline..if they ever do.

Hmmm Seems like some sort of miracle cure has to come along for Reva. Last I knew (and I've missed some episodes) she was basically waiting to die and there was no hope (not that you'd know it lately. She seems better than she did 2 weeks ago). I guess they could just have a real miracle occur. Wouldn't be the first time, Johnny Bauer anyone?
