I would find the board be more pleasant if the Ejami fans would try clamming up long enough to give the writers and actors a chance to show what they can do instead trying to dictate how the show should be written. Like it, don’t like it, tune in, tune out its all fine with me as long as you don’t mess with the writers vision because I think Days has been doing a great job since JER left the building and I’m more than willing to watch the promised SLs played out. Besides if EJAMI was a JER creation I’ll be relived to see any evidence of it erased from the canvas.

As for past, everyone knows what Kate has done but we have no idea what kind of man EJ really is. How do we know he’s good enough for her?

There has been an Ejami sl and its been happening since day 1.

That Ejami story was EJ worming his way into Sami's life and using flattery and manipulation to win her trust. From the moment he appeared in Salem, there have been indications that he's been playing her to suit whatever nefarious agenda he has. It is only a few die-hard Ejami fans who have been unwilling to acknowlege this.

It's your perogative to root for whoever you want EJ to be with. But it's ridiculous and unfair to bash Hogan for ending a romance that NEVER EXISTED.

Even though EJ is not Benjy, I'm glad he's coming back. I like the idea of a younger generation of DiMeras wreaking havoc, guided by Stefano. And I'm not the least upset if Stefano isn't on full time either.

I kinda figured EJ & Kate would hook up sexually because Sami and Lucas are finding their way back to each other. However, we don't need porn, no matter what JSF says.

Bree, I believe that most people who read that comment knew I didn't mean real "meat and potatoes" porn. After all, the show's TV 14, it couldn't get away with that. While that's true (that EJ seems to be manipulating Sami), I'd LOVE to see EJ get involved wtih Kate and Sami at the same time. We could watch him screw Sami and then carry that HOT bod to Kate...then watch him pull out and go back to Sami and dig in...OH mY GOD I'd be in Heaven!!

I do think pairing EJ with Kate is iffy. I respect what Hogan did with Barbara Ryan on ATWT but Kate is different. She's been more overtly 'bad' for a long time, I don't know how much further she can go as a character unless they take her totally over the edge into darkness as a consort for the diMeras. If they go there, that could be interesting, sure. But I'd rather see EJ also two time her with someone else, and I suspect that will happen eventually.

YOu really can't "two time" someone whom you're just '[!@#$%^&*]' (again, thank you Hogan- BRILLIANT word choice ). I don’t agree with your assessment of EJ because I think that EJ's manipulations of Sami have been directed at trying to help her or get her to help herself and so despite what he may or may have not done I do not attribute anything nefarious to the character, as of yet. Does he have an agenda? Certainly. Is he manipulating events? Certainly. Is his manipulations designed to hurt the people of Salem? That remains to be seen.

I do I agree whole heartedly with you Ponz that it is ridiculous to bash Hogan for ending a romance that never existed. EJ is a new character and Hogan should be given the opportunity to put his own stamp on the character and mold EJ's SL as he sees fit.

Maybe a lot of EJ fans wanted to see his first love scene be romantic and not crass.

I believe that you and a number of the younger generation mistook what was actually taking place as a budding romance. What was actually taking place was Sami being used to fast track a new character into the mainstream of Salem. She was joyous and youthful and giddy even about him, but that was bait to see that this is an especially hot young man. All of this was to put EJ in a star position asap. I was frankly shocked to see him coming on to her in a more personal way after everyone already knew (at least lead to believe) he was a horrid person really so my skin actually crawled. Thankfully, Sami is one girl who is careful with her intimate affections. No, there never was any room for a romance for EJ and Sami. In actuality, a sophisticated, well-educated man would not be seriously interested in Sami either. Kate, on the other hand is glamorous, beautiful, worldly and very sophisticated.

You on the other hand are personally attacking anyone who disgrees with the direction the story is taking (you're tone is childless). I don't like the sl and feel I can state so without seeing it as a personal slander on a writer when in fact thats the job of viewers to critique their job, which is writing.

The difference is that my perception was based on factual evidence presented on-screen

*The FACT that a wealthy racecar driver just happened to move into the same dingy apartment block as Austin, Carrie, Sami & Lucas

*The FACT that Sami always received letters from the gloved hand shortly after talking with EJ

*The FACT that EJ's fingerprints were on the letter from the gloved hand

*The FACT that EJ deliberately obstructed Sami & Lucas from finding Austin/Carrie having sex on the roof

Your perception- that the EJ/Sami story was a love story in the making- was based on nothing other than wishful thinking.
