  1. I'm not a doctor but as far as I know, yeah, you can relapse. Catching the c.v. and recovering doesn't make you immune. As for lingering body damage, I hope not. It affects your lungs mostly, so maybe if you've been a smoker your whole life I guess you'd better quit smoking for the rest of your life... Anyway, it's really serious and dramatic but being diagnosed with covid-19 is not a death sentence. Most people do recover. There have been cases of 90 or 100 year olds recovering from it. It's all so new. As for the rest, let me add: I wouldn't wish this disease on absolutely anyone in the world but if Trump is in such denial about it, it's only a matter of time before he catches it.
  2. Whoopi won't have a show any longer in a matter of a week. Dr. Fauci is right. Governments should prepare for the worst case scenario. No government that I know of has done it. Please stop spreading this kind of misinformation. You might have not detected any cases so far because people can get the virus and not show any symptoms. Still they can infect other people. Tell your aunt to check the World Health Organization webpage or social media channel. Precisely. It's just the way it goes. Viruses don't know borders.
  3. Your government is doing the right thing. And acting very promptly I might add. What you should do is avoid gathering of even 2 people. Stay at home. Work from home. Get your groceries delivered. Sanitize phone, laptop etc. Wash hands very, very often.
  4. I live in Northern Italy and let me tell you something that I wish I had been told weeks ago: Viruses don't know any passports. Or roadblocks. Or anything. Please act as if the emergency was already in place in your country. Wash your hands as often as you can. Limit your outings as much as possible (tell HR you need to work from home). Don't shake hands or hug anyone (it's awkward but you can tell them 'Hey, the elbow tap is the new thing these days!'). Don't share headphones and such. Clean your phone. Use a hand-sanitizer if you're outside and you've touched money bills. The virus lingers to fat surfaces up until 3 days, that's why it's so infectious. If you are running a high fever and cough, don't go to the hospital or you risk infecting a lot of people. It's not a death sentence but trust me. You don't want to get it.

  6. Hi, does anyone have any insight on this show's production model? I keep seeing clips on Twitter and I am impressed at the breakdown of each scene, lighting, directing, camera angles. The show looks expensive and something that producers take their time to shoot. How do they manage to pull it off?
  7. You guys are literally the best ❤️
  8. Thanks! That was interesting. I have literally just realized that ‘Keesha’ was GL’s first Dinah Marler?! Not to be controversial but I thought Keesha was black or mixed... am I missing something?
  9. A few years ago CN wrote a letter to Lee Phillip Bell pleading to allow him to return to the show. It was implied that he had been too much of a hot-head in the past a la Jacob Young because he was too young to recognize the opportunity he was given.
  10. Can't see what you mean really 😕 Was he going commando? Doesn't look that evident to me.
  11. Thanks! I love the 1998-2001 era.
  12. Let me just tell you I love your reviews of the classic year you're watching. I'm not in the right place in my life to catch up with the old episodes but reading your reviews definitely makes up for it a little bit.
  13. Wow. I loved the show back then. And the blocking + directing choices were a huge part of it. I would pay money to watch 99-01 again.
  14. As a European man who grew up in Italy, I never had the chance to watch AW - although it aired in the country for a few years but it was never big. However around 2008, P&G released a few years worth of episodes on its streaming service. I started watching and I was hooked. The way the show was written and staged, it was like the best NYC theatre you could ask for. I still watch random episodes every now and then and I'm mesmerised. The actors had it all. Sometimes I wonder how many takes they would require to nail a scene because every scene seemed perfectly flawless from every point of view. Staging, blocking, dialogue. It was top notch. My biggest mistake was taking for granted that P&G streaming service. I wish I had downloaded every single episode. Oh well. Youtube makes up for most of them anyway. I'm hoping the actors read the boards occasionally and realize their work is still being acknowledged.

    He IS Batman! ❤️
  16. You have such an ear for these things! I love how you placed the cues. Keep it coming! PS. woah those scenes were so... lifeless and dull. They all felt like fillers. No wonder soaps are dying.
  17. So amazing! You did a great job there! Where did you get the soundtrack clean version?
  18. God, in my next life I want to be as suave as Eileen Davidson.
  19. Stakes. Melodrama. Glamour. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed the show back then. Thanks.
  20. He did start the decline. He relied on stunts all the time. He was not a talented writer IMHO but at least the show still felt like Y&R.
  21. Saved them right away! 1999-2001 is my favorite era of the show. I think that's when Y&R perfected its formula.
