  1. Thanks! That was really sweet.
  2. I never really took the time to watch the story from start to finish but I think I read multiple times over here that it got really messy and it was apparent that the writers did not know where to go with the storyline. That they were making things up as they were going along. Was Pam Long the head-writer at the time? Wonder what inspired that story.
  3. Woah. I feel so bad she went through that. Makes you realize the impact TPTB have with their constant, reckless comings and goings.
  4. This is so interesting. Thank you so much for taking the time
  5. Thanks! I'm sure I read the interview at the time but then completely forgot about it over the years. I also think that with the amount of content that was added on YT in the last decade, Curlee's tenure has obtained renovated visibility and recognition.
  6. Me too! And I think Nancy Curlee was equally young at the time she was head writing the show. Has anyone ever thought about contacting Long or Curlee on social media for an interview?
  7. The Dobsons and Pam Long from SB's last episode. It's always cool to put a face to a name.
  8. Such a wholesome group of actors. It's sad that the writing was not there for the Santoses. You introduce a Hispanic family and you make them mobsters? With no research whatsoever on mob families in order to make it believable? Sorry, that never works. I missed Joie's first few minutes. What did she say about the cloning storyline?
  9. They did want to get out of the business after all...
  10. Woah... I always found it strange there was no rumor about BE and RPG (as far as I know at least). Or is RPG gay? I also find it strange that RPG hasn't joined any of these reunions, either for GL or AW. I found him hot on AW but could not care about him anywhere else.
  11. When Alan asked about VW they were all like ‘Next question...’.
  12. God, I need to buy that book. What did Zimmer say about BE? I agree with everything you said. And the Les Moonves quote had me in stitches. Please. What happened in Rhode Island? 🙈 Sorry to be so petulant haha
  13. Interesting! I found this: https://randomboomer.com/2018/10/01/from-the-emmys-to-the-state-house/
  14. I just had to quit. Couldn't bear it any longer.
  15. "You think Nikki is my daughter?" "You knew her family?" "Not personally" "Just a theory I had..." "You mean during my drinking period I might have produced a child and not know about it? Oh Allison, I never drank that much." "There were so many men in your past... You must have forgotten a lot of them" "Not a single one, Allison dear" Interesting! That was Katherine dealing with Kevin (Bancroft?)'s parents, who used to go to college with her. I suppose the writers toyed with the idea of revealing that Nikki was Katherine's daughter? Otherwise I don't know why they would suggest it so heavily. Also interesting that Katherine giving birth to a child during her 'drinking period' was considered an option even in those early years. We all know how that went lol The episode is also about Snapper saying goodbye to his son, Chuck. OMG that was executed so perfectly I was very much into the Snapper/Chuck relationship by the end of the episode - even though Chuck was written as your typical soap 'adult child'. If David Hasselhoff is not busy, I wish they would bring him back and reunite him with Chuck (or maybe that happened when Snapper was recast). Anyway, that's a testament to the quality of the writing of the show.
  16. @YRfan23 and @ChickenNuggetz92 thank you so much for all your work! It's incredibly appreciated 😭❤️
  17. Yeah it speaks volumes that she hasn't joined any reunion... Wonder what the deal was with that? Locher seems to be committed to including everyone. I can't believe she was that disliked behind the scenes. I did not remember that they were considering recasting Michelle again towards the end. How's it even possible they lost the part to NSA...?!
  18. How? PS. your take on Fletcher was interesting, thanks!
  19. Yay!! I don't think I've ever watched any episode with Carlson or Barbera, but who cares.
  20. I'd love to know who these 'newer' fans - that TPTB are afraid of pushing away with old faces - are. Last time I checked, soaps were all about nostalgia and they had been retaining the same audience - with little to no generational turnover - for decades.
