  1. Good Lord, have you all seen this? Sorry if already posted elsewhere on SON:
  2. KA's "I'm scared" and then that Angela laugh is classic.
  3. I thought her wig was gonna get snatched. Look at her face though, RW was an attractive lady.
  4. How the hell did I miss that?? Erica looks like a pretty little elf.
  5. And it was rice pudding.

  10. That sure was a lot of info. that announcer had to relay. I still prefer that to shrink credits anyday. I always loved the melancholy sax closing theme heard here.
  11. They all wanted a piece of that Aaron Spelling magic. Not that it was always magic.
  12. And I'm the gross one? Look at Mr. U! I was disappointed the way they made him betray pc, I thought he was a quirky AMC kinda character. Jamal just disappeared Carl.
  13. Robin definitely made the right decision, but looking at those pictures is like seeing Ted Shackelford with Judith Chapman. So close yet so far away.
  14. This is who they wanted Robin Strasser to play. You can imagine what that picture would have looked like.
  15. She looks a little like Faye Dunaway as Joan Crawford.
  16. Eric, do you hook up a digital video camera straight to the VCR or something? I need to get cracking on posting what I have.
  17. Totally, there was something about her eyes, which were always kind of puffy, that looked like she'd lived a rough life. And how her voice was always a husky whisper. I think you're right about her mom, I don't remember that but I believe Eric has mentioned it before.
  18. That Charlie scene was like straight out of Kids of Degrassi Street. Tara sounded so fake and cliche, Charlie was the most realistic character in the room, and Tad's dorkitude really cracks me up. OMG, and did you see that kiss?? Joe's clinical, considered dialogue about sex was so awkward and here he's talking to his own wife. Was that Rick Bauer in that Country Time Lemonade commercial? That commercial reminds me of Opal's campaign video: "I love to see a black cop on a motorcycle next to a little white boy! *freeze frame*" I love vintage Erica but she's a little cloying here. "Why Tom, whatever do you mean?" Wow, so Erica's not at all famous at this point? Is the implication that Mona and Charles spent most of their time in the hotel room?
  19. She was so haunting in that commercial. It reminded me of those teary snotty closeups of Farrah Fawett in those commercials for The Burning Bed. I never actually saw that TV movie. I'm not going to fake like Gloria was ever one of my favorite characters but TB is one of those truly unique daytime actors, a combination of looks, voice, demeanor, that no one else had. She could never be lumped with the vapid blondes, she carried with her a certain weight, like, "Damn, dis bitch done been through sumthin'..." When she went nuts after Anna Claire died with Adam and the rice pudding, uh, that was tough to watch at times. But Anna Claire's funeral was SO sad, another memory of watching with my mom. They had that little baby casket and they played Eric Clapton's "Tears From Heaven". I'll never forget the way Erica wiped her tears away, this was only months after Mona died. She gave Gloria Mona's bible as comfort. She then headed over to Dimitri's where they had one of their best scenes ever, a sweet sort of olive branching after months of drama and estrangement, and she gave us perhaps her sweetest and most affectionate, "Well I am Erica Kane " ever.
  20. I've never seen Estelle! Before my time. I knew her daughter Emily Ann though. AMS, we're also discussing the Masquerade Bawl in the Video Bash thread.
  21. That's actress/coach Roz Coleman on the stand.
  22. Oh my Gyahd, that was classic, hilarious.
  23. She used to talk about her bunyon surgery on her radio show. They'd even do commercials for her podiatrist at the break. That's one of those, "And not a single [!@#$%^&*] was given that day" pics.
