Interesting that you'd pick up on that tonight, because I said the exact same thing earlier in the thread about her last Oprah appearance. I'm really looking forward to watching this interview.

They just said on my local news that TMZ is reporting that BK wants to change her name to just Kristina to distance herself from her dad. WOW.

The moment I saw that white mic, I thought of how Barbra spray painted Oprah's mic to coordinate with her white Donna Karan she wore when she performed on the show. Those of you who said you don't like melismas probably don't care for Jennifer's rendition, though Barbra was apparently over the moon about it.

Re: Yentl, Barbra felt snubbed by the Oscars for her lack of an acting and I think especially a directing nom, so she refused to perform her two songs which were nominated. She asked Donna Summer and Jennifer Holliday for a hand:

I'm pretty sure I read that tempantonio Robert Montano is KDLR's close friend. I wasn't an ATWT watcher, but according to IMDb, he played Sergio on that show.

Interesting. Back then I'd say that JJ fit that description better than Randy, who while blonde and from California, has a more semitic look that might get him type cast in normal circumstances.

Wow, I've only ever seen her in Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean Jimmy Dean, but I could totally see that and I think she would have been an incredibly interesting soap presence.

I think I asked this before, but I have a childhood GH memory of somebody placing a scorpion under a couple's door and we watched it crawl towards the bed as the couple in their pajamas got ready for bed. The audio was just suspenseful music, no dialogue. The scorpion eventually made it to the bed and stung the guy as we saw his silent scream, reaching for his back. I think this was Robert and Holly in bed but I can't remember. Does anyone remember this?

This was hilarious and totally touching.

She has a policy of not paying guests, so who knows... However, and I say this as someone who was left money by his mother who was not nor ever was a multi-millionaire... BK is now an adult. She still has a living father. Her mother had some money at the time of her death and will continue to get residuals. I feel for her, I truly do, but people lose their parents all the time, parents who didn't have two dimes to rub together. I find it a little insulting that such a fuss is being made about her financial stability. This is why children need to be prepared for the world.
