Yeah, that's the tristate are local MyNetwork news. Apparently, Brenda Blackmon is a friend of the family. I have a hard time imagining no one noticing that the water was running for that long. The sound of bath water and shower water running is different, and when we turn on the water to fill a tub, it's coming out loud, strong, and plentiful, so overflow seems natural, especially given the fact that she fell in. Even with an overflow hole, those holes can't always "catch up" in time to water running. I don't know. I'm not implying anything, just trying to wrap my brain around it. Still very hard for me to imagine ignoring someone being in the bathroom, let alone tub, for that long.

Oh man, I remember Mario Cantone got such material out of this when he recapped the Daytime Emmys on The View. "Stool, stool, WHEELCHAIR, NECK BRACE!" Joy tried to school him on who Ruth Warrick was, i.e., Citizen Kane, and he was like, "I know who she is! She was also in Song of the South!"

I believe they first used this song with Vicky and Ryan before using it again in the finale, but it also would have been great for ATWT's finale as it has the lyric, "Let the world stop turning..."

I still don't get why they chop the seasons up like that. The photos from the Krystle/Dominique/Alexis photoshoot where they each have a different fox have always been some of my favorites. The Dominique/Alexis ones where they're both in white sporting crazy cleavage are also great.

Another great NP interview, thanks Carl. I love a woman who smokes a cigarette while eating a salad. I kinda wanna kick that interviewer in the throat, how obnoxious. He does not make himself come across well. That Stella Adler anecdote is hilarious. I'm always surprised by how well these '70s soap magazines embraced the word "bitch".

Hmm, maybe they originally intended for Dimitri to play the field a little more, but I think when you bring Dex Dexter to daytime, the game plan is to ultimately pair him with daytime's Alexis. Maybe they didn't want that to look too obvious in the beginning hence his initial gothic Angelique/Natalya s/l.

This is a great picture. She looks beautiful. From the very first time I saw the movie in the theatre, I thought Soapdish borrowed the visual of Kate and Susan for Montana and Celeste.
