  1. Bingo, that's who I was assuming based on Seth's roster. What does ICLI stand for?
  2. An early thirties Lucc-alike? Are you a single mother?
  3. The breakdown says that it's under a SAG-AFTRA New Media agreement, so web or Netflix-type deal I guess. This actually means that it has a better shot of getting produced rather than going the network route.
  4. Yeah, that first one she did at least wasn't "softcore" at all.
  5. I totally forgot to post about that casting breakdown I saw for AM's new pilot. It's called I've Completely Lost It and it's produced by her manager, Seth Greenky. The show is a naughty comedic satire about the behind the camera drama on a competitive weight loss reality show. AM stars as Bobbi (short for Roberta), an in-shape, sparkling, "America's sweetheart" trainer who is a bit of a raging bitch diva when the cameras aren't rolling. She's pretty much alienated the entire set. The show also stars a well-known reality show trainer. I'm pretty darn sure I know who it is, but I won't speculate since she wasn't named in the breakdown.
  6. Do you all remember that wonderful episode where they had the funeral for Gloria and Adam's baby, Anna Claire? They played Clapton's Tears From Heaven and Erica gave Gloria Mona's bible. Then Erica and Dimitri met up after months of estrangement and had probably the loveliest scene they ever had (complete with an, "I'm Erica Kane. "). God, the soaps used to be so good.

  8. Okay, so she's two years older than me. Yeah, I thought she was a great actress for her age, and believable as her age. If any of the bts stuff about her and SL is even remotely true, my hunch is that it had to do with SMG acting too grown (others have suggested the influence of her "stage mom").

  10. I'm two or three years younger, but absolutely, everything about her screamed teen no matter what writers trickery they pulled. When she smoked, she looked like a "bad teen" sneaking a smoke, when she drank, she looked like a "bad teen" lying about her age...
  11. Oh wow, same here! Big fan of contemporary/modern architecture. I loved the "real" version that we saw on TV as well as the "cartoon" version seen on the Pine Valley novelty map. The last two times I remember seeing the exterior of Linden were when Erica and Dimitri got married (it's the opening shot of the episode, and when it reaired on Daytime to Remember or SoapNet, can't remember which, it got cut), and coming back from a commercial break in a post-Betty Ford episode (I say that because I remember Erica's hair was short). To answer your question, all of the homes are most likely in Fairfield County, Connecticut (Cortlandt Manor is Waveny House in New Canaan: http://www.newcanaan...75/default.aspx ) or Westchester County, New York (Wildwind is Lyndhurst in Tarrytown: http://www.hudsonvalley.org/node/527 ).
  12. River really did seem like he could have been Beth and Jason's kid (even though Jason was not the dad). Yeah, poor St. Cassie. It was really sad how Beth apologized for taking back HER baby that God had given Cassie. Sure Beth, you did a shitty thing leaving your kid in a manger, but let's not be so hard on ourselves. A Christmas manger display in front of an Episcopal church is much lovelier than a trash can.
  13. Yeah, Cassie was calling him William from when she found him in the manger and continued to call him that until they met Beth. River was Beth's name for him and I guess Cassie and Andrew gave him the legal name William but called him River out of respect for Beth. William was the name of Andrew's late brother who died from AIDS-related illness.
  14. Yeah, you can't hear that name and not think of Phoenix. I'm sure someone on the writing team was paying tribute with that name, maybe they were just "playing it safe" by not coming right out and saying it. I liked Beth (and her relationship with Jason) and was surprised that she was killed off. She reminded me of Mary Stuart Masterson in Immediate Family.
  15. I really don't remember this flu epidemic happening in August. I think it's the same flu that killed River's mother, Beth.
  16. Why did they block her face out like that? I think they should have said "femininity and feminism". I like the concept of that tumblr page though. I now see that they cross out everybody's eyes, it's their "thing". I seem to remember Cameron Mathison also guesting on Spin City when his girlfriend at the time was on there. Or was that another show? Late '90s haze.
  17. Geraldine Page is just divine with her hat and black cigarettes. The way she caresses and kisses that phone, i.e., Johnny, before slamming it down is my favorite part of this whole movie. Someone had a "Who Do You Wish Appeared on Soaps?" thread a while back, and she, Kim Stanley, and Sandy Dennis would get my vote (Geraldine and Sandy only did brief stints).
  18. Pre-nose contouring. And that's John Tesh's wife, Connie Sellecca.

  20. I still have it, it's People. Yeah, I like the Kentucky derby hat. Love this pic: Aw, HELLL no: http://www.americanmemorabilia.com/Auction_Item.asp?Auction_ID=66123&c=\Autographed\Celebrity\&t=Open&p=0&s=Visits+DESC%2C+RandNo+ASC
  21. When she first booked Passions, one of the soap magazines published a small professional photo of her with dark hair. There was a blurb about her dyeing it so she looked less like her mother, which really didn't make much sense to me. Why would you NOT want to look like Susan Lucci, but whatever, celebrity children do have their issues. But yeah, her, ehrm, *stronger* features she gets from her dad, but the dark hair certainly brought out her resemblance to her mom.
  22. I can't find it either but I have a copy of it. It's when Rachel is trying to get Alice the hell out of the house she shared with Steve so she can have a place for Steve's son Jamie (and herself, of course). Alice lost Steve's baby and Rachel hisses to her, "What baby did you ever give him?" Liz makes this incredible pained face like she's trying to swallow vinegar and glass and Alice roars and lunges at Rachel as Liz holds her back and Rachel scurries down the stairs and out the door. "We had a kind of love you'll never know." -Rachel to Alice re: Steve
  23. So what exactly was she guilty of? The show made it difficult for her to do outside projects, right?
  24. That's an awesome portrait of Fiona. I wonder if a fan sent her that.
