  1. I loved that show, watched every week. Judith and William had great chemistry and I seem to remember the young female lead being quite good (as was her neurotic balding brother).
  2. I would have found it plausible that Dr. Lazarre impregnated her and Erica had another niece or nephew out there. Much more believable than the unabortion or even Eric "selling" his daughter.
  3. Her return is on my YouTube channel:
  4. Good Lord! A couple of birthdays ago, I bought my dad the DVD of the Gotti movie he starred in. I was wondering from where I knew him.
  5. The announcer introduced Armand Assante in this morning's episode.
  6. Linda has said that she didn't want Felicia to be a bitch, she admits to her own issues with wanting to be "liked". I think TPTB took this to heart and went in a more sympathetic direction with the character. Felicia was inspired by Jacqueline Susann, and the role was first offered to Jane Elliot. Rae and Tracy's scenes on GH were so delicious, made even moreso by this shared history.
  7. That is a "u" right?
  8. Those scenes are in my top three favorite Viki/Dorian run-ins. I always crack up at one YouTuber's comment, "Sarcophagus!? Is it Victor Lord or King Tut!?"
  9. I totally thought of DS too!
  10. @soapfan770 OMG, how have I never seen this?? I have some of the trial on my own YouTube channel. When Marge barrels over as the baliff I just about died. She favors Judge Judy in that robe. Her improv comedy roots on full display.
  11. I love the Bare Essence theme! Sassy Sarah Vaughan. Did they use that for the series or just the mini? Billy Goldenberg wrote it, I saw him in Bea Arthur's one-woman show, he was her accompanist.
  12. I know this is "cheating", but if you can, try to catch Anna Stuart on today's episode of The Doctors. Her honeymoon love scenes with Roberta Flack's The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face playing? Classic soap. I'm so glad the music cleared.
  13. Do you guys watch daily or marathon on weekends or... ? I mean, I feel weird being spoilerish about episodes that aired five years before I was born, but...
  14. She looks great. Has she aired already?
  15. Poor Greta. Camptastic wedding episode.
  16. I didn't realize until just now that Stack wore a piece. I mean, Steiger, duh, but I guess watching Unsolved Mysteries between my fingers I never noticed. That Suzanne Somers shot is begging to become a gif. I wanna go back and count all the Rollers they managed to cram into these opening titles.
  17. Tom and I are with the same agency. I have yet to meet him. He has a healthy theatre career.
  18. SFK replied to YRBB's topic in Off Topic Lounge
Star Jones kinda busted his chops for doing that too. I saw a clip of her on WWHL and apparently she arranged lunch with him so she could address that very issue. I watched that Rosie and Joy clip just a few days ago. The stuff about the secret children and all that... just weird.
  19. I LOVE the Matlock theme! I once quipped on Facebook that it's the music you hear in your head as you strut down the street after a great audition. I have done a Mama's Family/Matlock mashup in my head, wish I knew how to edit.
  20. Seems like many of the soap stars who'd been around for a while had homes in the country in addition to their apartments in the city. When I think about it, it just boggles the mind that the soap community of long-running, well-paid actors in New York is no more. Think about the sheer number of soap actors and crew members were making nice steady livings in the seventies. All gone now, a damn shame.
  21. I wasn't sure if I should just hold my peace, by yes Lord, those details were not lost on me either! What a tragedy. Thanks for sharing, Amy. I had read their obits and seen the picture of their final resting place which made me curious about Leon III.
  22. Montel did a stint as a judge on AMC when Erica was on trial.
  23. Reminds me of Beverlee McKinsey giving her 8 week notice, but I wonder what the folks at TD thought about Bethel Leslie jumping ship and letting her out of her contract. Lydia Bruce certainly struck gold there. While reading up on LB, I saw that her son died young back in 1980. Does anyone recall what happened to him? This is when the show was still on the air, I can hardly imagine what she went through. Her son had children of his own.
  24. Y&R's Kate, Bryton, and Mishael were in the 88th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade aired tonight on the CW. Other folks with soaps on their resumes like Erik Estrada and Montel Williams (looking great, so good to see him in good health) are co-hosting. Meanwhile, I'm wondering how you gonna be a Village Person and can't even clap on beat (looking at you leather daddy).
  25. When did Bethel Leslie exit? I was trying to find a clip of her, no luck, but I'm sure it'll be easier to search with dates. I only know her from OLTL and a teleplay production of Long Day's Journey. She was pretty icy in both roles, I'm curious to see what her Maggie was like.
