  1. There's nothing wrong with agreeing to disagree. It's life were not always going to be on the same page with things and that's OK! I understand your POV though, and actually agree with you to some extent. Pratt went about things the wrong way but AMC needed a major shakeup behind and in front of cameras. So I don't blame him for it. Beth Ehlers did get screwed that is accurate but from my understanding he had some nice ideas for her as well that was shot down. Pratt really had the wrong job role, if he was just a consultant for a "BETTER" writer with history with the show AMC would have been on fire it's last few years on the air. @VeeWell I don't wanna get too deep into things done behind the scenes because things weren't easy for him either. He felt like he had to be a rebellious child to get his way and was lashing out! And he lost some good friends in the process. I just wish he had come to AMC during a different time. I do not excuse his behavior but there are many sides to one story in show business. Would you happen to have a link to that revealing Pratt article?
  2. Yes, I believe it was a few months back.
  3. Pratt wasn't against same-sex marriage. It was his idea to marry them in the first place, and the fact he chose his friend Tamera to be a part of this groundbreaking story proves it. Reese was struggling with being Bisexual, I did not see one thing wrong with her kissing Zach before her wedding. We have seen stuff like that happen on soaps for decades. The speed of the storytelling is the issue I had with this storyline, Pratt is already a writer who doesn't write all the beats so him speeding a 3-year story into 6 months was a bad decision. Like Mctavish Pratt had a lot of mandates to work around and tell his stories at AMC, which is why he had a tighter contract when he got to Y&R.
  4. All My Children. It's my favorite soap opera and the soap that seems to welcome all of gods children with open arms. It's home!!!
  5. I hate to go against the grain but I just don't buy that some characters don't have a fanbase. I believe theirs a fanbase for each character, whether big or small, if you have 3 supporters that's a fanbase. With that said, Skye has always been popular to me. Not wildly, but definitely middle tier. AMC fans always asked for her return during their last decade. Me! I loved Ryan Lavery and still do til this day. !!! She does belong in Pine Valley. Making Skye Stuart's daughter is a pretty good idea, that could have worked so well for Her. Reese was such a cool character to me, Pratt was onto to something special! I wished she stayed around longer.
  6. All slayed! Robyn, Wendy, and Candiace are my favorite looks. So happy they get 8 housewives I just love a full cast.
  7. So when the talk shows return can the actors go on to promote their movies, or no?
  8. Ah man, this is sad. Rest. In. peace King Billy Miller. Incredible actor who will be immensely missed.
  9. I personally say he's both. But you could argue he's more of a producer. If he worked in daytime they he would probably have the break down writer title.
  10. Rest in peace, King David. I have tremendous respect for him, I had hoped to be his mentee one day. And he truly came off like a good guy. He will forever be missed. !!!!
  11. Rest in peace to David Jacobs.
  12. I never saw this Susan Lucci interview.
  13. And Generations was never hit with ratings.
  14. Maybe marrying the families business rivals could've open up some stories. Maybe marrying the families business rivals could've open up some stories. 15. Everyone looks good. It was the wrong role. Debbi excels playing professional women. She should've been a high-powered executive or something.
  16. This confirms the season is a bust for me. Looking at the seating chart and can't think of anyone standing out this season to deserve first seat! Kandi would've been my choice since she seems to have the most drama so far.
  17. OMG! How did you like the show back then? Especially the year they went number one.
  18. I love his love for Soap operas. Especially since he's crazy about my soap. The man knows his stuff. He should host a reunion or something.
  19. Nooooooooooooo. I will miss him, he was so damn talented. Rip
  20. Has anyone mentioned Halle Berry's short-lived summer series "Extant"? CBS made a big deal about Halle leading one of their shows, promos were everywhere! I remember her head floating at the bottom of my screen many times as I watch " Big Brother" lol. The show could have been better but I thought overall it was decent. Halle was great and had an awesome supporting cast. The ratings were also great in the beginning but didn't hold over. I could see Halle leading another show in the future and I wouldn't mind more sci-fi projects from Halle.
  21. Now this you're on point with. Well hello there.
