  1. Ya know they actually pay Stacy to do a poor imitation of Eileen. Tsk. Tsk.
  2. Happy Birthday! How fun! Party on dude. Now, who do I see abut Kristen getting so many words?!! Too many words! I don't think the person who writes Kristen understands her. She's a terrible person & I think they don't know.
  3. From SID email: Veteran actor Mark Miller has died at the age of 97. His daughter, actress Penelope Ann Miller, shared the sad news on social media. “My Papa’s beautiful soul left this Earth Sept. 9, 2022,” she tweeted. “He loved deeply and was loved by all who knew him. He touched many lives. He was funny, fun, and always creating. He cherished this life and saw the glass half full! I was blessed to call him my dad.”
  4. That's a lot of money. Why not just buy the right to spit in her food yourself?!! I really think Xander & Sarah are perfectly suited because they are each/both obnoxious.
  5. Oh! Now I recall that when she just got over being Renee, she was running around everywhere trying to find a baby. Now I understand why I didn't understand that! Thnx for the explain.
  6. I don't know about the baby switch. Sarah can go from smiling to shrill in 30 seconds & she does not wear shrill well, not a'tall.
  7. Yes, that's right. Jake is the grease monkey & Stefan has his heart. I thought it was odd that Gabi said she knew it was Stefan because she saw his chest & he had the scars where his heart was given to Julie. So, what did she think he has beating in his chest? And, how could she have seen those scars with him buttoned up in that suit, of Jake's?
  8. And, of course, PSSN did so well with 2-12 yr olds! It gave some PTB pause to try to think how they could monetize that ... which they couldn't really. Of course some PTB at that time were just sure that JER was going to bring home winners in every demo. They had to scramble to get behind what they had, not what they'd dreamt of.
  9. I agree. I know many PSSN fans who were too old for the younger demo who felt mistreated & neglected. But, PSSN's success was clearly younger than ever before! The disappointment in the beginning was as much overly optimistic pie in the sky dreams as anything.
  10. Friday, 9-16-22, and what day is it? It is Day #2 of Kristen running her mouth non-stop! Don't get me wrong. She's not manic. They have not pushed that button. But, she is still being a motor-mouth & this judge is not doing anything to slow her down. And, Belle is largely ineffective. The deck seems to be stacked in her favor. So, that's the A story today. Kristen gets away with saying so much that maybe there's not a portrait in the attic but an audio tape with nothing but Kristen's voice. So, what's the B story for today? Ava, Johnny, Chanel & Allie. To her credit Ava holds Johnny to his stated intent just to stay the one night on the floor at Ava's hotel room. He manages to be in nothing but a towel when Ava comes in, had a shower after going to the gym. So the peeps who enjoy his chest will get to say good morning to it. (Odd that he did not shower AT the gym.) Eventually he leaves. We are surprised when he shows up at Allie's apartment. Allie's not there. Chanel is. Wonderful scene at Ava's where Allie has gone to inquire of her intentions of her brother! I just love Allie.
  11. Sure, that is what sticks out but that is the real takeaway from PSSN as a whole, isn't it? TPTB had such high expectations of what ratings would be, were so disappointed in what they actually were & how they did, or didn't, support the demo that was successful.
  12. Brittany Snow & her husband announced Wed., in joint statements that they are splitting up. Brittany Snow Marriage Break Up
  13. Ruh-Roh. Sorry I couldn't be an early warning signal today! But, there will be days when I will. I think it was a day worth watching. I can't speak for anyone else but today for me was a gift. We had a ton of Kristen, OY! But she was not manic. Thank you Kristen writers for that much today. However, I still felt like she was being given a free ride somehow. I applaud Ava trying to send Johnny away. I'm not keen on Chanel being overly interested in what Johnny is up to. I suppose it is natural that they would want to screw with our heads with Johnny & Ava. Allie was precious asking Ava for her intentions to toward her brother. I really like EJ's laugh. Who could've guessed that the FrankenStefan creature would give EJ a kick.
  14. Oh my, can I just say, Yikes! or MEOW, not sure which!! What an incredible "other shoe" to drop. WTG, @Errol! finely put, with just the right heft. But, the thing of it is, it's true & accurate. What's left to say? Well, the most important thing of all ... how did they land on their new turf?
  15. I love & adore "a'tall" & say it often in my head. Now, I have been thinking that my opinion about Stacy is one of my minority opinions, but here comes other people!!
  16. You're preaching to the choir! I was flabbergasted at her reaction. Frankly, the only ground I thought she had to stand on was that he had not told her this already! And, she showed no sign of interest in that. Then, when she announced she was leaving him, I moved somewhere beyond flabbergasted. I've never thought, Sarah is crazy ... till that moment. Has she been cra-cra all along & I never noticed?!!
  17. Rewinding, I was looking for something else & this shiny object caught my eye, did PR tweet about the fan-made video? It's been my experience that TPTB love fan-made stuff but never see it as an option of what they shoulda - coulda - oughta do. I believe they exempt themselves from such self-reflection. Sorta like they are on high looking at the little folk, "Isn't it precious what little Jimmy did?!"
  18. As an outsider, who would tune in every once in awhile for, like, 2 yrs & then go away, to come again another day, I would have thought it would be Flannery. But that could be my own bias.
  19. OMG! That trailer just sends me. If that movie is as good as this says it is, it will be the best. And, Tamarie Tunie, YES.
  20. I heard at meal-time that some attorney had drowned in a riptide. So sorry to hear.
  21. There should be a special room in hell for writers who have screwed with TB! Pratt will be a permanent fixture in that room.
  22. How sad. I love GregR but I hate Leo. Here is maybe why. Nothing worse than a bad writer who is tickled with his own work!
  23. Another great question ... such a reflective period of time... Could have done men & women in the same thread. Just thinking out loud. I know you asked for one. Sorry. DOOL - As a rule I think DOOL always has excellent actors. However, it's sometimes hard to tell that from ... yes, you guessed it, the Writing. Those I'd pull out of line & feature: Cady McClain, Suzanne Rogers, Mary Beth Evans, Deidre Hall, Lindsey Uh who plays Allie GH - Genie Francis, Maura West, Finola Hughes, B&B - I don't currently watch the show but I have in the past. KKL, Whoever McInnes Wood who plays Steffy & I'd say Susan Flannery who just hasn't been on in a while. (That's true as to talent but good for a laugh.) Y&R - the actress who plays Tessa, Eileen Davidson, ... and, of course, I don't watch Y&R except just to check in on rare occasions. I would respectfully submit that Maura is regularly her own competition! For example, Maura vs. Esme, the Fight, beats out all other Mauras this year!
