Yeah, I had brought Eddie up to speed & he had in turn brought Roger up to speed & they talked & Eddied talked to me again & it was from that point that I wanted to try to talk to the fellow but in either a PM or email setting not group. Roger & Eddie agree that P&G would not have done this whack idea that came out of Zenk. And, that is why I brought him back up.

Well, if I have my dates right, ... Yesterday was the anniversary of the last day of ATWT, 9-17-2010 and today is the anniversary of the last day of GL, 9-18-2009. So I gotta say this is some kind of cluster or dare I say, nexxus? Me, I wasn't watching GH to be aware of Sonny & Karen or of Brenda & Jagger. It's not until there becomes the entity Sonny & Brenda that I tuned in, some.

When he was being interviewed about the Emmy nod, the actor who plays Cam was waxing euphoric about how incredible it is to him that GH can accommodate him so he can take a full college load & still work full-time, too. I respectfully suggest that what looks to some like misuse of him is to him actually getting to eat his cake with ice cream! My impression was that in other circumstances he would be quitting acting long enough to get his degree. On DOOL I keep thinking about Craig or Nancy, too, but I can't figure what would be their motivation. If I had my druthers it would be the way we could get rid of Gwen! She's useless now & she is ruining Jack.

Yeah, the 7 month lag (6 in the can & one written & vetted & rewritten) was their life saver to keep them on the air this past 10 years & now I fear it is going to be their worst enemy. And, the other thing that is hanging over them is that their legacy shows, I believe, could bring in subscribers by the droves but they're not playing that card. Why? Or I guess it is Why Not? They're one of the special half dozen shows that never wiped & they are now positioned on a streaming service where they could exploit 14,000 episodes!! Even if all they did was begin with the first 2-5 yrs of Bill Bell written shows, the earth would move. Why aren't they doing it?

I just do so wish that they would burn some of this stuff & write new & fresh & better. And, I'm sure they're not going to. But I do love that I no longer have to wait for the show to load at 8 pm. And, the two days when I managed to watch at 6 straight up I really liked.

I thought Monday was best. Tu & Wed. were okay. Th. & Fr. just dreadful. The only thing of Th. & Fr. that I liked a'tall was Allie going & asking Ava what her intentions were toward her twin brother. That was rich & you could tell that Ava got a kick out of it too.

It is lucky to have a soap friend IRL. I used to. But, soap viewing to me is enhanced even by online soap friends. I hate people thinking soap watching is weird. Soap fans are no more weird than are sports fans. Now, other reasons for being weird, that's okay. I'm weird & I know it.

I have no problem with paying to see either. I think if I could have it cafeteria style that I would pay by character, so I wouldn't be paying for the custody battle either because I wouldn't pay for anything Kristen/Stacy. Also wouldn't pay for Alex, Leo, Clyde, Nancy, Orpheus, so that's 5 characters I would not pay for. Oh, one more: I would not pay for Gwen.

I think its last season was 3 yrs back. So's she's gonna need a time machine! The last I heard of one was Pine Valley's. The good news is that no one is using it.

But, they're using this ridiculous "catch-22" whereby Kristen got a pardon for everything, so they can't bring up anything except something new, which is why she is getting to say all this garbage before the judge & they just get to hem and haw. Supposedly their hands are tied, legally, by this huge loophole. It's very frustrating. As much as I am annoyed by the writing the past 2 days it is making me feel that frustration. It's like it's Belle's job to keep them from slipping & saying something. Fat lot of good she's doing our side! Well, I hold it against Stacy that we have a NotKristen and I would rather have just that No Kristen unless it is good enough for Eileen to come do her thing for a temp period. So I'll just be an old meanie. I really tried for a long time to give Stacy a chance. Didn't work out!
