ACTRESS OUT! Kelly McGarry, who joined the show in the summertime in the newly created role of Ivan Marais' niece, Simone Marais, has been let go from the blog. The headwriter weighs in on why! "McGarry is a true talent. She's amazing. As soon as her run ended on 'I Wanna Be a Soap Star 3,' I knew I had to snatch her up. She was perfect for the role of Vivian's kooky sidekick. But the character only had about a ten month story arc, and it's now over. The character has been a ball to write for. I've had a lot of fun. I hope to bring her back in the future, but I know right now there are no plans to do so." McGarry will last air on the blog this week. In other news, there is a big rumor coming from the set that two other actresses will last air in February, and two more will be gone in March!

Episode # 297 - Tuesday, January 30, 2007: Shawn and Belle ask their babysitter how in the hell this could have happened! She swears she has no idea and claims she only took her eyes off the baby for a second! Willow and Philip drop their babies off at the Kiriakis Mansion where Philip’s babysitter is, and they decide to go out for that drink. Willow realizes Shawn and Belle are going to realize Trey has been kidnapped soon, and Jan is sure to put two and two together and realize Willow is behind it! She realizes she must act quickly! Marlena asks John to help her plan her retirement party. Kristen and Stefano plot to drive Marlena insane. Eric struggles with how to tell his mother that he accidentally slept with her arch-rival, Kristen. Greta and Frankie have a glorious day of lovemaking. Hope remains imprisoned. She flashes back to the day in November when Jan Spears’ mother, Megan, kidnapped her and locked her in here. Hope is baffled as to why Jan’s mother would want her kidnapped. Willow and Philip head to the Cheatin’ Heart where she begins to subtlety poke and prod him about his lifestyle. The drunker he gets the more he opens up about how wealthy he is, and Willow sees dollar signs. Shawn, Belle, and Bo formulate a plan to find baby Trey, but Belle realizes who must have kidnapped Trey! Stefano reveals to Kristen that John is keeping a huge secret from Marlena - he is Greta’s father! Hope tries to get to know the man Megan has assigned to watch her as part of her plan to escape. Belle says since Trey was the baby Jan tried to pass off as hers and Shawn’s, then Jan must have kidnapped the baby! A drunk Philip begins to tell Willow about how he just got custody of his baby from his ex-wife, Belle Black. Willow is shocked. She says she read something about her and asks if she is with someone else or if she has another baby or something. Willow apologizes, but she says she doesn’t remember the details of the story she had heard. Philip explains the long story about his history with Shawn and Belle and how they have another child now named Trey. Willow, who has kidnapped baby Trey in an effort to get more money out of Jan and Shawn and Belle, realizes there is another opportunity staring her in the face. Kristen and Stefano realize once Marlena learns John is keeping another secret from her, she is going to end their relationship forever. But Stefano warns Kristen that John is going to tell Marlena very shortly so they need to out this secret and out it fast! Hope daydreams of Bo and fantasizes about the day she will return to Salem and declare her love for him. Her guard is unaware, but she is secretly plotting her escape! Willow and Philip appear to have an attraction to each other. But he does not know she is conning him. Philip makes it very aware that he is attracted to her. Willow realizes she is under pressure and her time is almost up. Hope is almost successful in picking the lock on her cage. She asks her guard why Megan has kidnapped her. But he refuses to say. Kristen and Stefano wonder what secret they should reveal first - her sleeping with Eric or John being Greta’s father. They decide which, off-screen, and then plot to out the secret at Marlena’s retirement party. John and Marlena arrive to comfort Shawn and Belle. Willow and Philip head back to the Kiriakis Mansion where Philip drunkenly stumbles into the house. He and Willow begin to kiss passionately. They make their way up the steps where they begin to tear each other’s clothes off. Once in the bedroom, Willow and Philip have a passionate sex session. Shawn, Belle, and Bo arrive to question Jan about the kidnapping! Jan is terrified and thinks Bo is talking about Hope’s kidnapping! Belle says she knew Jan knew something about Trey! Jan is relieved in one sense they don’t know her mother is behind Hope’s kidnapping, but concerned in another because she knows what this means - Willow kidnapped Trey! Jan screams at Belle and tells her she had nothing to do with this! But she says she has a feeling she knows who did - WILLOW ESPINOZA! Belle and Shawn are confused, and she says this is the woman who is Trey’s biological mother! Willow and Philip continue their hot sex. When done, a drunk Philip passes out. Willow makes her way down the stairs where the babysitter is watching Claire and Trey. Willow sneaks up behind the babysitter and knocks her unconscious. Willow snatches up both babies and leaves the Mansion. She steals a car seat from Philip’s car and straps both babies into their respective seats. She gets in her car and drives off…out of Salem.

Episode #296 - Monday, January 29, 2007: The Brady’s celebrate in the waiting room of the hospital as they have just learned baby Roman is going to be all right! Marlena reveals to everyone that with everything that happened with Sami, Roman could not take it and had to leave town as soon as he as he could have. Carrie and Austin share a tender kiss as they celebrate the news. Marlena, Caroline, Maggie, Cassie, and Jack all remain terrified at the gifts that have received from The Fury. (See Last Episode.) The gifts remind them of their gruesome attacks by the Salem Serial Killer. Phillip, Kate, and Victor bond with baby Claire whom they have now acquired temporary custody of from the courts. Will opens up to Georgia about his father, Lucas, leaving Salem forever because of what his mother has done. Shawn and Belle continue to grieve the court’s decision. Meanwhile, Willow has managed to kidnap Shawn and Belle’s other baby, Trey, right out of their apartment while the babysitter was not paying attention! John struggles with telling Marlena the truth about his being Greta’s father. Sarah and Jack clash over the Sami story once again, and Jack is fired from the Spectator! Jan finds Jeremy who has drank himself into a stupor because of the issues he has with this father. Austin asks Carrie if she asked Mike to leave Salem so she can try to fix her relationship with him, and she says wholeheartedly yes. Marlena, Caroline, Cassie, and Jack demand Bo find the Fury for doing this to them. Bo says he will. But later, when alone with John, Bo tells him that he can’t put his finger on it, but something is going on with Marlena, and John agrees. The babysitter realizes baby Trey is missing! She calls Shawn and Belle and tells them to get home immediately. Jeremy and Jan share a sexy kiss in his drunken state. Will notices Georgia hasn’t been eating the last few times they have gone out to lunch. Will asks her if she’s starving herself for this modeling career. Georgia flashes back to her agent telling her she had to lose ten pounds by the end of the month. Sarah Horton’s boss informs her that the Spectator’s sales have almost tripled since she came on board. Marlena announces her retirement to the Brady’s and Horton’s and informs them of her party. Rae asks Marlena if she still wants to retire if her hallucinations have stopped, but Marlena says that it’s time. The Fury holds a picture….of Austin and Carrie. The Fury takes a knife to it and cuts it in half. Cassie continues to ensnare Max in her web of guilt and obligation. Dr. Rae reveals things will still be a little touch and go with the baby, but she can say without any uncertainty that he will make a full recovery. Willow runs into a man, who just so happens to be Philip. They each have their respective babies. They begin sharing info about their babies. Philip says her son looks familiar, but since he just got back to town, he doesn’t know baby Trey very well. Meanwhile, Philip unknowingly tells Willow that he is Philip Kiriakis of THE Kiriakis’, and Willow sees dollar signs. Roo and Felicia tell Georgia they booked her first big gig as a runaway model! Georgia is ecstatic! Will fakes excitement, but really, he worries for his cousin/best friend. Carrie and Austin thank Simone for coming forward with the news. Simone cries. She tells them how much she will miss Keith…or baby Roman, she means. They tell her they are eternally grateful to her for everything she has done. The Fury continues to stab the picture of Carrie and Austin. Willow asks Philip if he would like to get a drink with her. Shawn and Belle arrive home, and they are shocked to see Bo is there with the babysitter. Belle freaks out, and already being in a fragile state because of Claire, asks Bo what the hell is going on. Bo breaks Shawn and Belle’s hearts when he tells them that baby Trey is missing and was kidnapping right out of the loft. Belle breaks down and falls to her knees in exhaustion. She screams out “Noooo!”, and her scream is deafening. Jan and Megan talk about Jeremy and then Megan’s plight to try and land Bo. Megan says Doug and Julie cannot find Hope. Thank goodness, Megan explains, as Hope is being held hostage by her in London. Megan also explains she and Julie have had little luck in trying to stop Bo and Billie’s wedding which is fast approaching. Meanwhile, in a dark desolate prison, a woman sits in near-darkness. A pipe’s constant water drip is the only comforting sound she hears. She looks and sees a guard not far away. The woman is Hope Brady. She vows to break free from the prison…and get revenge on the woman behind her captor!

CONNOR LOCKHART CAST! It's official! As previously reported, the blog has been trying to tap Noah Segan as Connor Lockhart for the past few weeks! Segan will first be debuting as Connor this February! But the role is short-term. An insider reveals that Connor and Segan will both be seen for only about twenty episodes. Although he won't be spending a lot of time on the canvas, he is going to have a big impact on the younger set. He is set to debut in Mid-February which, not coincidentally, is also the first airdates for the brief returns of Connor's sister, Mimi (Farah Fath) and Rex Dimera (Eric Winter.)

MAJOR 'DAYS' STAR OUT! The blog can now reveal the name of the big name who has recently been let go! The star is Bryan Dattilo who has played Lucas Roberts since 1993 with the exception of a brief period from 2001-2002. There's one question on everyone's mind - Why Dattilo? The headwriter dishes on why. "Well, it actually has nothing to do with Dattillo, and everything to do with Sami and Lucas. They are a big couple, but when it comes down to it, as Lucas said in his goodbye speech to Sami, he'll never be able to love the real Sami, and she might mature, but she's never going to be a saint. At the core of who each is, they're just not right for each other. Lucas and Sami will always have a connection, but Sami will be getting a new love interest. It is definitely a person who can love her for who she is WITHOUT changing her. And that is something no man in Sami's life has ever been able to do." Josh Taylor (Roman Brady) has also last aired. Although no exit has been penned for him, his exit will be explained this week. "Josh was recurring and brought back Roman to tie up some loose ends. The run was always supposed to be limited. When Roman came back to Salem, he came from Europe where he was trying to start a life with Anna, Carrie's mother. He needs to get back to that." Both actors have last aired on Friday, January 26th.

Episode #295 - Friday, January 26, 2007: Austin, Carrie, and the rest of the Brady’s and Horton’s remain vigil by baby Roman’s side. Simone and Vivian recap the crazy last few days. Simone breaks down at the thought of losing the baby. Vivian tells Simone that she knows the baby is going to make it! And Simone says she can’t bear to lose the baby to Austin and Carrie either! Sami sits alone in her cold, dark jail cell and cries herself to sleep. Shawn and Philip continue to argue and fist fight! Belle arrives with Claire. Philip demands Belle give him the baby! Vivian and Kate clash. Vivian says she is going to expose Victor’s secret to Caroline if he doesn’t give her majority shares of Titan! But Kate informs Vivian she cannot do that because Victor will then expose a huge secret about Kate which will hurt Alamain International as a result, since Kate is the V.P. of Alamain! Rae comes into the waiting room, and it looks like she has some bad news for the Brady’s. The Fury hides out in his or her lair and prepares boxes for mailing. Belle refuses to hand over Claire to Philip, but Philip reminds her of the court documents that say he has temporary custody until the permanent custody trial can take place. Kate, Vivian, and Victor realize they have to do something because they each have secrets on each other, and they’re caught in a stalemate. Lucas and Will have an emotional conversation about Sami. Will says he sees how much Sami has hurt his father. Will can’t even recognize his father anymore he’s been so hurt by Sami. Max and Cassie grow closer than ever as they bond of their baby, but she secretly plots and schemes to make sure no one ever finds out that Jeremy was the real father. Meanwhile, Jeremy flashes back to when Jan asked him on a date, and he said no. Then he remembers how his father, Mike, skipped town without a word. Jeremy drinks himself into oblivion. Rae does not have bad news for Austin, Carrie, and the Brady’s! In fact, she has excellent news. Rae reveals that Austin and Carrie’s bone marrow donations worked wonders, and they were both matches for the baby. Carrie and Austin are overjoyed. They hug in the moment of happiness, and they share a tender peck on the lips. They watch intently as Rae checks all of baby Roman’s vitals. Lucas asks Will if he’d understand if he left town for a while. Will tells his father that he needs to do whatever is best for him right now. A bunch of packages arrive at the hospital…a nurse explains to Bo and the rest of the Brady’s that these packages appeared outside suddenly. Bo fears the packages might be from the Fury. Belle lashes out at Philip, telling him she can’t believe how evil has become! Philip explains he isn’t evil, but Claire is all he has! An emotional Philip tells Belle and Shawn if he is going to lose Belle, then he won’t lose Claire too! Victor says all he wants is for Alamain to stop their tricks and deceitful attempts to one up Titian…and Vivian says all she wants is to reap some of Titan’s benefits! Kate comes up with the perfect solution! There is a package for Marlena, Cassie, Jack, Caroline, Maggie, and Roman! Bo says what is on everyone’s mind…these people were all victims of the Salem Serial Killer! Lucas says a touching goodbye to his son, Will. Lucas sheds tears and tells Will that he knows Will is going to find love in Salem very soon. The two men break down and touch foreheads. Lucas tells his son he doesn’t want to leave him. Will understands and tells his father to go. Lucas breaks down and says goodbye to his son. Kate suggests merging Alamain and Titan! That way, everyone will get what they want, and NO ONE’S secrets will be revealed! Vivian and Victor refuse, at first, but when Kate argues her case, they realize it makes the most sense. Belle tells Philip she refuses to sympathize with him! Shawn asks Phil if he paid off a judge. Philip swears he hasn’t. But Belle chimes in that it must have been Victor then because no judge would ever take Claire away from his parents and give her to Philip! Marlena opens her package and finds a bloody, orange jumpsuit - the same one she was wearing when she was shot and “killed” in prison after she was arrested for the serial killings. Roman’s present is a mini groom that rests on top of a wedding cake - similar to the one that was shoved down his throat when he was “murdered.” Jack’s present is a bloody brick. Maggie’s is a bloody bottle of wine. Cassie is given a dead turkey, reminding her of the piñata was stuffed in. Victor and Vivian agree to sit down with Frankie and map out a legal plan to merge the two companies. Caroline receives Irish Soda Bread, which was what poisoned her when she was "killed." Jan realizes that Willow can never learn Shawn and Belle are raising baby Trey now, or she’ll go after the family Shawn and Belle have now created with Trey and Belle. Jan says to her mother she does care about that baby, and she knows she was not what is best for the baby, and neither is Willow! Jan tells Megan that Willow can never know Shawn and Belle are raising that baby, or she’ll use him as a means to shake Shawn and Belle down for money. Unfortunately for them all…Willow is listening! Lucas shares a touching goodbye with Austin, Kate, and Billie. Kate is devastated to see him leave town over the likes of Sami Brady. Lucas tells them it has to happen…Lucas and Kate say goodbye. The police officer takes Claire from Belle’s arms and hands her over to Philip. Belle breaks down in Shawn’s arms. They both fall to the ground as Philip and the police officer leave with Claire. Shawn and Belle are grief-stricken as baby Claire is snatched from their arms, but little do they know that, at this very second, Willow is kidnapping baby Trey right from their loft while the babysitter is distracted! Everyone is devastated and blown away by their gifts from The Fury. Bo and Roman wonder if since Marlena received a gift, if she is off the suspect list. Bo tells Roman he can’t shake the feeling that something weird is going on with Marlena. Meanwhile, Kristen drugs Marlena’s coffee when no one is looking with the same drug she’s been drugging Marlena with for weeks. Kristen is determined to make sure Marlena loses her mind. Sami awakens in her jail cell to Lucas. Sami is happy because she thinks Lucas has come to show his support for her. Lucas tells Sami to shut up. Sami is confused. Lucas explains to Sami that he has come to say goodbye to her…forever. Sami cries and says “No” over and over. Lucas tells her that it’s over for them forever. He says he has heard about her sentence of twenty-five years to life, and he is happy. Sami is appalled. Lucas says she deserves everything, EVERYTHING she gets for what she has done to Austin and Carrie over the years. He cannot believe how many times she has hurt her parents, her son, and him over and over and over again! Lucas tells her she’ll never know the pain of having a soul mate who is one constant disappointment…a person who is constantly keeping a secret from him. Lucas says its exhausting. He says the last fourteen years…and his love her has drained him of every ounce of energy, and it’s not worth it to him anymore. Lucas claims that at his core, he is a good, decent person, looking for a good, decent person to share his life with. And he says at Sami’s core, she is a liar and always manipulating life. Lucas tearfully says they will never mesh, and they will never be together again. Sami tries to argue, but he angrily lashes out and tells her shut up! Lucas informs Sami he is leaving town…and leaving her behind forever. Lucas walks out. Sami’s screams, and her yells echo throughout all of the jail cell.

Episode #294 - Thursday, January 25, 2007: Sami is sentenced to twenty five years to life in prison. She is carried away by the bailiff, screaming, thrashing, and crying. Simone, Austin, and Carrie hurry to the hospital, and Dr. Rae says there isn’t much time to save baby Keith’s life. OPENING Shawn and Belle are floored when they are served with papers from the courts declaring Philip get custody of baby Claire. Sarah is ready to run the story on Sami, but Jack intervenes and tells her that he won’t do this to the Brady’s. Alice and Maggie inform Jeremy that his father, Mike, has left town. Jeremy is pissed! Willow and Claire continue to fight. Jan says she’ll never tell Willow where baby Trey is! Frankie is there to take Greta home from the hospital after her attack. On the way out, Greta runs into Eric, and things remain awkward between them. Sami is taken to her cold, dark cell and thrown in by the guards. Sami Brady has hit the absolute lowest point in her life. Eric, Roman, Austin, Carrie, Kate, Philip, Will, Bo, Kayla, and Caroline all give bone marrow donations at the hospital in order to save baby Roman. Marlena and Carrie bond while they see if the baby can be saved. Marlena says she wishes Carrie was her daughter so that she could donate to help save the baby. Carrie tells Marlena she will always be a mother figure to her. Billie and Jack refuse to acknowledge each other, and they co-exist in their awkwardness from New Year’s Eve. Marlena picks up on a weird tension between Greta and John! John fears Marlena might figure out that he is Greta’s father. Jeremy lashes out telling Alice and Maggie that his father has put him last once again, not even giving him the common decency of a goodbye! Sarah and Jack continue to clash over the stories at the paper. Sarah and Jack take their cases to their boss at the Spectator, and he sides with….SARAH! The boss man tells Jack he needs to stop it with the family politics and start covering the stories Salem wants to read or he’ll be out on his butt! Austin and Carrie finally manage to get two minutes alone. Their intense stares turn into slight smiles of relief. They both quickly run to each other, and he sweeps her up into his strong arms. They embrace. Willow and Jan get into a shoving match. They struggle until they get near the door where Jan throws Willow out! Jan tells her to go to hell! And to stay the hell out! Shawn and Belle cannot believe their eyes! Philip arrives with a police officer to take Claire. Sami flashes back to all of the harsh words her family had to say to her, casting her out of the Brady Family. Austin and Carrie cannot believe their baby is alive! Austin apologizes to her and regrets not believing her when she said the baby was alive. Carrie tells Austin it isn’t important now. The only thing that’s important now is saving little Roman. Austin says maybe Mike can help Dr. Choi. Carrie informs Austin that she asked Mike to leave town...telling him that Austin is the only man for her, and if she can't be with Austin, then she'd rather be alone. Eric comforts Roman over his devastation in regard to Sami. Eric is taken aback to see Roman break down into tears as he stares at his grandson, fighting for his life. Shawn and Philip begin to rough each other up. Shawn tells Philip that he isn’t even Claire’s father so why should he have any rights to raise her! Philip claims he is the only father Claire knew for the first year of her life and that she wants her back! Rae tells Austin, Carrie, and Simone the baby survived the surgery, and now, they just need to wait and see if the surgery took to his body. Austin and Carrie remain vigil at the baby’s side as they watch his little body hooked up to all of these tubes. Carrie and Austin break down in each other’s arms as they look on at their baby boy, fighting to save his life. Meanwhile…..The Fury sits in a dark, desolated, warehouse. Classical music plays faintly. The Fury places something into a big box on the desk. The box sits among other boxes on the desk. The Fury puts a label sticker on each box to address it. The Fury laughs maniacally. *FREEZE FRAME* TOMORROW ON DAYS: A vital character departs from Salem! Readers can expect a big press release tomorrow, detailing why the star was let go!

Episode #293 - Wednesday, January 24, 2007: Sami sits on the ground - blooded by Carrie’s slaps and punches, crying from the words of Roman, Lucas, and Austin, and having been spit on by her mother. Sami Brady was just told by both of her parents that she is dead to them and that she has no one left in her life. OPENING. Eric, Caroline, and Belle each take their turn telling Sami how disappointed they are in her and how they can’t believe she has stooped to his level. Caroline tells Sami she is a widow because she has lost her husband to death. She says if you lose your parents to death, you’re an orphan. But Caroline says losing a child is so damn awful, there isn’t even a word for the parent that is left behind! Caroline cannot believe Sami has inflicted this type of pain on Sami! Caroline gives Sami a stern licking. Eric and Belle wash their hands of Sami. Sami asks Caroline to forgive her and help her with that discipline she always give her when she messes up. Caroline tells Sami to go to hell and asks if she can’t stop manipulating…even now! Carrie approaches Sami and rips into her again, telling her she is the most awful person the face of the earth and that she hopes Lucas has the good sense to take Will and get far away from her because SHE is the one who deserves to have her child ripped away from her! Since this is a sensitive issue for Sami, she stands and faces Carrie. She tells her Will is 18 now and he can do whatever the hell he wants! Sami says Will loves her, regardless of all the terrible things she does, and HE will stand by her, even if no one else will! Will enters the conversation and informs Sami in no uncertain terms that he is done with her forever! Sami has a breakdown. Carrie approaches Sami with tears streaming down her face. She explains she doesn’t have the energy to throw another punch or be angry anymore. Carrie wants to know why she would stoop to this level. Sami explains the evolution of her plan. She recalls how in the springtime, she and Carrie teamed up to rid Austin’s life of Nicole, and in order to do this, Carrie had to talk to Victor to get the goods on Nicole. Sami recounts how they successfully blackmailed Nicole into leaving town. Sami flashes back to how she framed Carrie for being the one to blackmail her out of town, even thought it was really both of their idea, but Sami made sure all the evidence like Victor would be traced back to Carrie. Sami reveals how in May (during episode #200) Carrie and her mother, Anna, exposed Sami for being the one to orchestrate the plan to get Nicole out of Austin’s life. Sami remembers how Anna, Roman, and Carrie took a strong stance against her, and Sami says if SHE couldn’t have the family she always wanted with Roman, Eric, and Marlena, then she would be DAMNED if she saw Carrie have her parents together, Austin, and a baby to boot! Sami says she felt her father slowly slipping away from her and into the web of Carrie and Anna, and she confesses she wanted to make Carrie pay for taking Austin and Roman from her life. She also explains how when she went to Sunset Beach in May to bring runaway Will back home to Salem, she met Annie who revealed experience with baby snatching. Sami explains she always had reservations about doing it. She says she really solidified the deal when Carrie bonded with Will after he came out of the closet when all she (Sami) could do is push him away. Carrie, Austin, Lucas, Will, Roman, and Marlena confess they don’t know why they are shocked…but they are. They all cast her out of the Brady Family. Willow and Jan continue to fight and struggle. Jan tells Willow to go to hell and that she won’t tell her where baby Trey is! When Shawn and Belle leave the courtroom, they are served with papers informing them that temporary custody of Claire is going to Philip! Simone begs Austin and Carrie to leave Sami, the b!tch, alone and focus on what is important! THE BABY! Simone explains if baby Keith….she corrects herself….baby Roman does not get a bone marrow transplant from direct kin immediately, he will not make it through the night! Austin, Carrie, Lucas, Will, Bo, Hope, Roman, and the rest of the Brady’s rush to the hospital to see the baby and get tested to be matches for the baby. Sami is left alone and crying in the courtroom. Kate approaches her. Kate tells Sami that after fourteen long, long years, Sami is finally done for. Kate reveals to Sami that if she weren’t going to prison for the rest of her life, she’d be calculating revenge right now. Sami tries to grab Kate, but she is held back by the prison guards. Kate is the sole remaining person in court, and she now leaves. The judge asks Sami how she pleads to the kidnapping of Roman Roberts Reed. Sami says “Guilty.” The jury asks the judge for a brief recess to intake this recent information. When they return, Sami, who now sits alone, hears the verdict. The judge explains that since Sami confessed to the murder of Alan, but her defense was justifiable homicide, her case hinged on the fact that she is a good person and Alan was too evil to live. The judge says in light of all of this, however, the jury is not convinced Sami is a good person. The judge reveals Sami has been found guilty of 1st Degree Murder and Kidnapping. He sentences Sami to Twenty-Five Years to Life in prison. Sami collapses to her knees, crying.

Drew, Marlena's reasoning was explained in the dialogue i.e. this terrible crime was just done not only to Carrie, but to Marlena as well when baby Gabe was stolen by Kristen. She also can sympathize with the "death" of Carrie's baby since she knows it is like to lose an infant (D.J.). Thanks, guys!

Episode #292 - Tuesday, January 23, 2007: Carrie attacks Sami and jumps on top of her, hitting, slapping, punching, and scratching her. Austin and Lucas grab Carrie and lift her off of Sami. Sami’s face is bloodied, and she is crying. Carrie screams….“You b!tch! Sami! You lying, evil, backstabbing wh0re! How could you do this to me? You stole my baby! A baby! An innocent, little baby! You b!tch” Carrie approaches her and punches her in the face once more. The judge asks for order in the court and demands a ten minute recess in order to deal with all of this, but he wants the district attorney to stay privy to this conversation since it pertains to the law. Austin, Carrie, and Lucas corner Sami. Austin says: “Say it, Sami! Say it! I want to hear it!”…he says as he grabs Sami with anger. He grinds his teeth and continues: “I want to hear it from your dirty, disgusting mouth!” Sami is taken aback by Austin’s rage. OPENING. Carrie continues screaming at Sami telling her that her evil is astounding! Carrie says she thought Sami would have learned her lessons about stealing babies when she stole Belle. Belle is outraged at Sami, as are Marlena, John, Roman, and Eric. Simone explains to everyone in the room that her baby, Keith….Carrie and Austin’s baby is very sick and in need of a transplant, and that is the reason all of this transpired! Lucas and Will approach Sami. Will demands his mother admit it. Will breaks down in tears and tells his mother to stop lying! “Stop it, mom! Stop!”…he exclaims. “We all know it’s true! Aunt Carrie has the proof in her hands! That’s why you wanted Georgia and I to donate that bone marrow to the hospital the other day! You’re nothing but a liar, mom! Admit it!”…he says as he breaks down in tears, and Austin and Carrie comfort him. Lucas walks to Sami and tells her to admit it. He grabs her and shakes her. He says if she’s ever loved him or Will, then admit it! Sami finally confesses that everything Simone and Vivian has said is true! Lucas is APPAULLED! Lucas points to Eric, as he cries. “We knew it! Eric and I knew it, didn’t we? We knew you and that Annie were keeping a secret! But this? This, Sami? Dear God! There is no end to your evil! What? You thought the only way to top being a terrorist was to kidnap your sister? Steal her baby? Make her grieve her baby? You’re a beast, Sami. You’re a demon. You’re evil!” Sami breaks down in tears and asks Lucas for another chance. Lucas laughs through his tears. “Never, Sami! NEVER! This face? You’ll never see it again!”…he says as he turns his back on her, but she runs to him and grabs him, screaming crying. “No, Sami! These lips? Never! Never! Your lips will never touch these again!”….he says as he leaves her, falling to her knees, sobbing. Eric and Caroline tell Sami that they have never been more disappointed in a person in all of their lives. Eric informs Sami that he is done being there for her. Caroline casts Sami out of the Brady Family! Roman walks to Sami and lifts her off the ground. He grabs her and shakes her. “How the hell could you do this? To your own sister? Your own sister, Sami? My flesh and blood? You stole…my grandson. My daughter’s baby. You are…you’re a monster, Sami. You’re a monster. “…he says in a shocked voice as if he is still in denial. Sami says… “Daddy, you’re the only person who has always been able to forgive me. Please, daddy, just listen to what I have to say.” And Roman replies “Sami…I am not your daddy.” And she asks...“What?” He replies… “I am not your Father. You are not my daughter. As of this day, my beautiful daughter - Samantha Jean - is dead to me. Dead.”…he says as he walks away. Sami falls to her knees after him. She screams and cries and lets out guttural moans. Marlena approaches her. Marlena pushes Sami to the ground when she tries to get up. Sami is floored. “Shocked, Sami? WELL YOU SHOULD BE!”…Marlena yells. “I have been so patient with you! Over and over and over and over and over and OVER AGAIN! I will be patient NO LONGER! The excuses I have heard come out of your mouth! Stefano! My not being there for you! My affair with John! Blah! Blah! Blah! Accountability, Samantha! ACCOUNTABILITY! No more excuses! This is your fault!”….Marlena yells. Sami tries to reply saying how Marlena not being there and Stefano kidnapping Marlena when she was young really affected her. “NO! Don’t pull that! What did I just say to you!? I said NO MORE! My not being there for you when you were younger doesn’t make you STEAL YOUR SISTER’S BABY! WAKE UP, SAMI! WAKE UP AND SEE THE TRUTH! You are heinous! Heinous! You did to Carrie the same thing Kristen did to me just a short few months ago, and I will not, I WILL NOT stand for this any longer!”…Marlena cries as her voice has now faded and become a faint whisper. “I am done with you, Sami. I am with Roman. You’re dead to me. You’re no better than Kristen or any other of those Dimera’s!”…Marlena exclaims as she spits on Sami who rests on the ground. Sami lies on the ground, crying and sobbing with scratches and blood on her face from Carrie, having just been spit on by her mother. She sits and sobs. Her sobs grow louder and louder and louder. It turns into an all out shriek. Close up on Sami’s screaming, spitty, bloody face. *FREEZE FRAME.*

But, I equate that word in my mind to that AWWWWWWWFUL storyline slash show! And the monk and the nun and the horrible VR goggles. Oh, well.

Episode #291 - Monday, January 22, 2007: Austin, Sami, Will, Carrie, Lucas, Marlena, Andy, John, Belle, Shawn, Bo, Billie, Caroline, Eric, Roman, Alice, Maggie, Sarah, Melissa, Frankie, Kayla, Steve, Georgia, Max, Cassie, Jack, Abby, Philip, Victor, and Kate all gather at the court house to hear the verdict in Sami’s trial for Alan’s murder. Vivian bursts into the courtroom and screams: "STOP! Your honor, STOP! Sami has committed her worst crime yet! She kidnapped her own sister’s baby boy and made her think he was dead!” Sami’s mouth drops open, as do the mouths of Marlena, Carrie, Austin, Lucas, Kate, and Will. Sami’s eyes bug out and her mouth hangs open. *FREEZE FRAME.* OPENING. The judge calls for order as everybody is in shock and whispering and talking to one another. Carrie stands and approaches Vivian and asks her what she means. Austin’s face still screams shock and awe. Vivian lashes out at Sami calling her a b!tch, a liar, and manipulative witch who has sunk to a new low by stealing Carrie’s baby and making her think it was dead! Carrie approaches Sami, grabs her, and lifts her out of her chair, asking her what the hell Vivian is talking about. Carrie shakes Sami. Sarah realizes she has a great story on her hands, and Jack warns her not to dare report on this, for the sake of the Brady’s. Jan asks Willow what the hell she wants. Willow tells Jan she (Willow) gave her baby Trey for a huge amount of money - and now she wants even more! Willow says Jan better pay up, or she’s going to tell Jan’s man everything! Sami shouts that Vivian is lying and shoves Carrie off of her. Sami sheds some tears and says she can’t believe Carrie would believe such horrible accusations about her! Sami points out that Vivian has a long history of lies and deceit. Lucas stands and jumps to Sami’s defense saying this can’t be true because the day Carrie gave birth was the same day of Will’s 18th birthday party, and he spent every second of the day with Sami on that day! Sami chimes in saying that is exactly true! Carrie realizes Lucas and Sami are right and turns to Vivian. Carrie accuses Vivian of being up to her old tricks. And Victor asks Vivian what the hell she is up to. Vivian says she swears on it! The Brady’s and the judge tell Vivian to get the hell out of the courtroom. Sami is relieved that she has gotten away with her scheme once again. Lucas kisses Sami. And they both sit. Austin and Carrie are both in shock, having just heard their son was alive. Marlena and Roman are relieved to hear this was all a lie. An officer approaches Vivian about removing her from the courtroom. Jan informs Willow that she doesn’t have the baby anymore because her little lie and their little deal was found out! Willow asks Jan who has the baby, and Jan refuses to say. Willow grabs Jan and demands she tell her. They begin struggling. Philip quickly leaves the courtroom and meets with another judge secretly. Philip offers the man a payment in exchange for his services. As the bailiff is removing Vivian from the courtroom, Simone bursts into the door, telling him to stop! Simone says everything Vivian has told them is true! Carrie asks who Simone is. Victor says it’s Ivan’s niece, Vivian’s assistant! Marlena says not to believe her because she is probably full of lies like Vivian and Ivan, and Sami concurs! Simone says: “I am more just Ivan’s niece or Vivian’s assistant!“…Simone says as she approaches Carrie and Austin. “I am the woman who has been raising YOUR child as my own! Because this B!TCH told me he was unwanted! It was all a god damn lie!”…Simone screams as she lunges at Sami. “UGH!!!! YOU B!TCH! I’M GONNA MAKE YOU PAY FOR THIS!”….she yells as she reaches for Sami with her hands out in claw formation trying to scratch Sami or grab her hair. Sami backs off, and Lucas steps in between the two women and holds Simone back. “Listen, Lady.”…Lucas says. “I don’t know who the hell you are, but we already have been through this! Sami has an alibi for this day! She was at her son’s birthday party with ME!” Simone laughs. “How does this whore have you all so blinded? Sami had help! She had an accomplice!”…Simone declares. The courtroom gasps. “A woman named….Annie Douglas!” Eric is taken aback at the mention of his ex-girlfriend’s name. “Annie must have been the one to steal the baby!”…Simone exclaims. Lucas, Austin, Carrie, Marlena, and Roman refuses to believe it and stand by Sami saying Simone and Vivian are a bunch of liars. “Here! See for yourself!”…Simone yells as she throws papers at Carrie, and they land at her feet. She picks them up and begins reading. Austin and Lucas ask what she is reading. Sami fears for her life. The look of worry and panic on her face is nothing like anyone has ever seen on her face before. She is petrified like never before. Marlena, Roman, and John look at her face and look at each other…they know the truth. Simone says… “It’s the proof you morons need to see Sami Brady is a lying, manipulative, kidnapping, evil b!tch! It’s my son’s…your son’s medical file. And Carrie’s. It’s proof that I am raising your son!” Carrie reads the paper. Austin and Lucas look on. A tear hits the paper. It’s Carrie’s. Carrie wipes away the tear. She turns around to face Sami. Sami says: “Carrie, look. She’s a liar. The papers can be faked. I-”…Sami is interrupted as Carrie screams and takes a step towards Sami and CLOCKS Sami across the face with her fist. Sami falls to the ground. She touches her face where Carrie has hit her. She looks up. Carrie screams… “I’M GONNA KILL YOU!”…Carrie leaps onto Sami. *FREEZE FRAME.*

FEBRUARY SWEEPS PREVIEW! February Sweeps is going to begin a week early on Monday, January 22nd, and it is going to be nonstop action and drama for the next five weeks. Absolutely NO storyline will be the same at the beginning of Sweeps as it is at the end of Sweeps. January was a month to build, and February is a month of action and drama! The Fury: The storyline revolving around the Fury is going to intensify. He or she is going to use Bo and Billie’s wedding as a big source of vengeance and drama. All of Salem and, hopefully, the readers will be asking themselves who this terrible person is. We’re building up to the big reveal in March. No one is safe from the wrath of the Fury. John/Marlena/Kristen/Eric/Greta/Frankie/Melissa: Marlena is going to delve further into insanity thanks to Kristen. Marlena’s retirement party is going to be a big event. Eric will try desperately to keep his mother from learning he slept with Kristen. And John is going to try to tell Marlena, on his own terms, that he is Greta’s father. And at the party, one of the secrets is going to come out! And it won’t be pretty. This is going to be one of the biggest storylines of February. Every week, the ante is going to be upped, and it will end with a huge climax the last week of February. Philip/Belle/Shawn/Jan/Jeremy/Cassie/Max/Abby/Andy/Willow: These are nine people who should NOT be in close quarters with each other, but thanks to Willow, they will be! They are all going on a February Sweeps Adventure. Jan and Jeremy will be gettin’ busy, Shelle are going to fall deeper in love, Philip will become further immersed in the new faces of Salem, and Abby is going to realize Max might not be worth her time. We’re building to a huge exit in the spring for one of these characters. Jack/Billie/Bo/Hope/Megan/Julie: Bo and Billie’s wedding is coming up on Valentine’s Day. The Fury, Hope, Jack, and Julie are all going to be trying to stop it, each for different reasons. Hope is going to break free from that warehouse in London in very early February, and Kristian Alfonso (Hope) will be back! Billie will make a huge, huge, huge decision, and she will get devastating news that is going to change her life forever. Someone in this storyline is going to be leaving the show. Carrie/Austin/Simone/Keith: This week, Carrie and Austin learn their baby is alive, and it is going to be a race to save baby Keith, or as Carrie and Austin know him, Roman Roberts. The couple will be leaving the show this month, but if they are going to leave town as a couple, they have a lot of healing to do. Georgia: Georgia is going to delve further and further into the fashion and modeling industry. She’s going to see just how ugly and horrible it can be. She’s still going to be isolated on a storyline island of her own for February, but in the Spring, she is going to collide with another storyline in a huge way. Sami: Sami will be headed to prison where she belongs, and she won’t be forgiven for any of her latest crimes. As far as the Brady’s are concerned, Sami is dead. But for her, life has to go on. Ms. Brady has never truly had a man love her. Brandon, Austin, and Lucas were all in love with a Sami that never existed. In February, she is going to find a man who can relate to her and that, in time, can grow to love her very much. Readers are going to have to pick their jaws up from their computer desks when they see who it is! Fans should keep their eye on Sami. This is the beginning of big things for her. But the storyline is top secret. Vivian/Kate/Victor/Caroline: This is going to be a huge month for this storyline. Everything we’ve been building up to for ten months is going to come to a climax. The Alamain vs. Titan rivalry is going to end at the beginning of the month, and then all hell is going to break loose. All of Kate’s secrets will be coming out. The identity of her other twin child is going to be revealed. Caroline is going to learn the truth about Victor. By the end of the month, there will be no more secrets in this storyline! Steve/Kayla: Just like on the real show, Steve is going to be having some intense flashbacks about his life before after he “died” and before he woke up and began his life as an amnesiac. Only differently from the show, Kayla will not be there to support him. She is not going to forgive him for what he has done to her. Comings and Goings: Thaao Penglis and Ari Zuker will finally be back. Each will be back in a very shocking way. A mystery person is going to be returning, but that is going to be a surprise until the day he or she returns. As far as exits, there will be a few big ones.

I definitely see where you're coming from, Steve. I am obsessed with Austin and Carrie so it's hard for me to write them off. I'd like to bring them back someday.

MYSTERY PERSON RETURNS! The blog is very excited to announce that a popular character will be returning to the canvas in February! The rumor is the actor is going to have a contract and a promise of a long-term storyline! The name of the character and the actor is being kept under wraps for a surprise debut on Friday, February 2nd. "I am SO excited about this return! Nicole (Ari) and Tony (Thaao) will both be returning to the show, but this is the biggie. I'm excited about all of the returns, but this is the one that is going to have the most longevity of story." "Kristian Alfonso will first air on Wednesday, February 7th, and she will be back from her leave. Hope is going to be back and feistier than ever! Farah Fath (Mimi Lockhart) and Eric Winter (Rex Dimera) will begin their two week stints on February 16th. For the returns of Nicole and Tony, I can't say because the way each of them return is going to be a surprise!" "A big name actor will be leaving the show next week. But it is going to stay hidden until the day it happens. March, April, and May are going to be big months casting-wise. Three big characters will be leaving the show."

Episode #290 - January 19, 2007: Vivian and Simone realize Sami must have stolen CARRIE’S baby! Austin, Sami, Will, Carrie, Lucas, Marlena, Andy, John, Belle, Shawn, Bo, Billie, Caroline, Eric, Roman, Alice, Maggie, Sarah, Melissa, Frankie, Kayla, Steve, Georgia, Max, Cassie, Jack, Abby, Philip, Victor, and Kate all gather at the court house to hear the verdict in Sami’s trial for Alan’s murder. Simone is devastated and horrified to learn that baby Keith comes from a good home and decent parents, who deserve to have him back in their lives. Rae tries desperately to save Keith, but his health continues to fail because he hasn’t received a bone marrow donation from a direct kin. OPENING. Shawn and Billie have another confrontation in which he tells her she isn’t good enough for her father. Julie and Megan continue to try and plot to stop Bo and Billie’s wedding. Austin thanks Sami for behaving the way she did, saying it was her good demeanor and peaceful manner that allowed them to convince the jury she is a good person who did this because of justifiable homicide. Shawn and Belle have an awkward moment with Philip when they bump into him in the park. Philip realizes he misses Claire more than he realized! Kate and Victor push Philip to lay down some roots in Salem and go after Claire! Willow (Bree Williamson) arrives in Salem and is hell bent on finding Jan in order to blackmail her for more money. Sami says if Will keeps his cool and sits through the trial today and lets her take the not-guilty Jack and Sarah clash when he rips her apart for her story about Greta that left nothing up to the imagination. Jack lashes out at Sarah, saying she is nothing like a true Horton. He says anyone with a heart would never do this to a family friend. Lucas tells Sami the local papers are predicting she will get off for the murder based on how well Austin has defended Sami. Lucas thanks Austin for everything he has done for Sami. The two brothers have a touching moment. Jan and Jeremy flashback to the guttural moans and screams they heard in the Dimera basement. Cassie asks Max what is next for them. Max is hesitant to answer, but Cassie has delusions of grandeur in her head. Kate, Victor, Philip, and Billie make sure Lucas know they want him and Will to be happy, and although they do not want him with Sami, they know he will not find happiness if she is found guilty today so they tell him he is in their prayers. Kate says she must agree with Sami for once - Alan deserved to die for what he did to Will. Jan asks Jeremy if he would like to spend some time with her. He realizes that she is asking him on a date in her stand-offish way, but he says the only way he would do this if she tells Shawn and Belle where she found baby Trey so they can acquire custody. She refuses saying Shawn and Belle are better off not knowing. Sarah fires back to Jack saying she is more of a Horton than he knows. She flashes back to overhearing Frankie tell John he is Greta’s father. She gets teary and tells Jack he knows nothing about her and that he should check his facts before he makes such big statements. Sarah tells Jack that their relationship is purely professional and that she doesn’t consider him a Horton anymore either! Jack realizes he must have struck a chord deep in Sarah when he said something about her not really being a Horton. Lucas and Sami map out their future for when she is acquitted for the murder. Vivian and Simone search the computer files and try to find the files they need to prove their theory that Keith is the daughter of Carrie and Austin. Vivian realizes her theory is right! Vivian says they need to tell Austin and Carrie immediately so that they can get to the hospital and donate their bone marrow in order to save baby Keith. The Brady’s, the Horton’s, the Robert’s, and the Reed’s all sit down and await Sami’s verdict. Jan is floored when she opens the door and sees Willow standing in front of her! She faints. Rae informs Simone and Vivian that Keith will not survive the day without his transplant. They scurry to find Austin and Carrie! The jury announces to the court that they’ve made their decision. Vivian and Simone frantically search all over Salem for Austin and Carrie, but they cannot find them anywhere. The judge is told by the bailiff that there is an urgent call for the judge. So, the judge dismisses the court for a ten minute recess. Simone realizes Sami’s verdict is being read today! Simone and Vivian rush to the courthouse. The judge reveals the jury has come to a decision regarding Sami’s fight. Sami clutches Lucas’ hand as she realizes her fate is seconds away from being announced. Vivian and Simone find that the police will not let them into the court room. The judge says the Sami has been found….. Vivian and Simone burst through the doors of the court. “Stop! You can’t do this!”….Vivian yells. Everyone is baffled by Vivian’s outburst. “She's not the person you think she is! You can’t announce the verdict yet! Sami….Samantha Brady isn’t even on trial for her most dastardly…most evil crime yet! She’s sunk to a new low…even for her!” Sami is shocked and confused. She and Lucas shares looks with one another. Kate is intrigued. The judge asks Vivian what crime she is taking about. “Kidnapping, your honor! Sami kidnapped a baby and made the mother and father think the baby was dead!.....................Sami Brady kidnapped her own sister’s baby!” The faces of Marlena, Carrie, Austin, Lucas, Kate, and Will change from confusion to shock. Sami’s eyes bug out and her mouth hangs open. *FREEZE FRAME.*
