Episode #281 - Monday, January 8th, 2007: Will successfully convinces Georgia to come with him to be a bone marrow donor at the hospital. She is confused, but he tells her just to listen to him! The two youngsters make their marrow donation at the hospital. Sami hopes that either Will or Georgia will be a match for baby Keith so that she won’t have to confess that she stole Carrie’s baby. Mike and Kayla are confused as to why Simone has taken them both of the case of her baby, but they are respectful of her decision. Greta welcomes Frankie down below the deck of the yacht, and they make love once again. OPENING! Kate arranges a meeting at Titan for Georgia with a modeling agency. Kate tells Georgia that she was such a hit at the Titan vs. Alamain fashion show that everyone has been beating down their door wondering the name of the sexy, new beauty who works for Alamain. Kate tells Georgia that the woman is a good friend of hers from the modeling business. Bo and Roman thank their nephew, Andy, for all of his help with the investigation, and they realize if the copycat is copying all of the serial attackers, and if he has copied the Salem Serial Killer and the Salem Slasher, then the Salem Strangler and the Desecrator might be next, as well. Marlena has a nightmare about Kristen terrorizing her, and she calls Dr. Rae Choi for guidance. Kristen and Eric meet up at Salem Place, and he lashes out at her for taking advantage of him while he was drunk. Kristen tells Eric to stop being a boy and start acting like the man she had wild sex with. Eric shudders and claims that he hates her for everything she’s done to his mother, Marlena. But Kristen thinks to herself… “If only you knew.” Billie tells Jack that they can never tell anyone about his confession. Billie does not want to hurt Jack, but she tells him that Bo is the love of her life and now, she has the chance to be with him. He says he understands and he never thought she would ever leave Bo, but he confesses that he had to be honest with her. Julie sees them talking secretly and realizes that Billie might have a secret! Felicia Phillips (played by the legendary Janice Dickinson) arrives at Titan and kisses Kate on both cheeks. She throws off her eccentric fur coat and is shocked to see Georgia. She is surprised that this is the face that has launched a thousand ships, so to speak. Kate tells Felicia she knows her routine, but she better tone it down because she’s dealing with granddaughter now. Felicia tells Georgia that she has some potential. Roman and Bo gather Jack, Cassie, Maggie, and Victor. They all flashback to the horrors of the Salem Serial Killings. Bo tells them all they are dealing with a copycat killer, and all of them might be at risk. He warns them all to watch their backs just in case. After consulting with Rae, Marlena comes to a shocking conclusion. Rae tells Marlena to slow down and think about this, but Marlena says it’s actually something she’s been thinking about doing for a few years now, and it is time. Eric asks Kristen why she has done this to him. He goes on to say that everything Kristen does is calculated and planned, and he knows this was too. She says she’s done it for revenge, of course. She brags that she can’t wait to tell Marlena! Eric tells Kristen he’ll do anything for her not to tell him! Billie and Jack decide it might be best to spend some time apart for now. When alone Felicia tells Georgia she may have what it takes to be a top model, but she has to have the fire, the passion, the look in her eyes, and the drive to be the best. Georgia fires back and says she has it and declares she’s never felt a rush like the rush of being on that runway. Bo sets up a meeting with Marlena and begins grilling her about Mrs. H. and Celeste. Marlena says her whereabouts, but he fires back that she has no alibi. When Bo gets angry and tells her that she has to come clean about what is going on with her, Marlena lashes out at Bo telling him she doesn’t know! Bo grabs Marlena and asks her if she could be behind this. Marlena breaks down in his arms screaming and crying. Bo looks at Roman in awe as neither of them know what is going on with Marlena. Julie asks Jack what he and Billie were talking about but he remains tight-lipped. Greta and Frankie realize they need to tell Eric and Melissa that they’ve taken their marriage of convenience to the next level before they find out from else. Lucas warns Carrie and Mike that they need to tell Austin about their kiss…or he will! Austin continues to study Sami’s defense. Dr. Rae Choi takes over baby Keith’s case. Felicia arranges for Georgia to partake in a photo shoot shot by local photographer, and Georgia’s cousin, Eric Brady, for a Skin Cream product Advertisement set to print in the next issue of Sophistique, the magazine published by Alamain International. Felicia says if Georgia nails this, then she will consider signing Georgia to her agency. Bo has now called John to come to the station and calm down Marlena. Marlena swears to John and Bo that she has nothing to do with the attempted murders. But Bo does not believe her, claiming to Roman that if the Dimera’s are involved, she might not remember anything, but she still could be behind it. Marlena tells John that she thinks she’s losing her mind, and he says that he will always be there for her. She tells him she hasn’t forgiven him for giving Kristen immunity for all of her past crimes, but he excuses that by saying he just wanted to get their baby back! She says she still can’t forgive it. Then, she reveals the decision she’s made to John…she’s retiring! Simone tells Sami that she’s done everything she told her to do! Seconds later, Simone gets a call from Rae saying they’ve found a bone marrow donor for baby Keith! When Kristen leaves Eric, she meets up with Stefano. When he asks her how her plans are going, she says they are going deliciously! And perfectly. She recalls for Stefano… “Saint Marlena appears to be losing it. Just like I planned….thanks to these.” Kristen smiles wickedly as she takes out a bottle of pills and laughs, evilly.

Episode #280 - Friday, January 5th, 2007: Carrie and Mike discuss how he confessed his love for her on New Year’s Eve and their kiss, as well. Little to do they know that someone is listening to their conversation. Billie calls Jack and says they need to talk about his confession of love. Greta lies in her bed at the Salem Inn in post-coital bliss. She recalls her passionate night of lovemaking with the man of her dreams. Sami schemes and plots and figures out a way to get her nephew, Keith, who is now being raised by Simone, the bone marrow transplant he needs without confessing that she stole Carrie’s baby. OPENING. Andy and Roman search through all of Andy’s notes and books on his courses on criminology trying to find the case that is similar to what Andy feels like could be happening in Salem right now. Roman explains to Andy that he is unsure whether they are dealing with a Salem Serial Killer copycat or a Salem Slasher copycat. Andy says once they find the case he is thinking of, everything will be clear. Austin studies Sami’s case, and he realizes that he doesn’t have much of one. Alan’s blood being on the burned clothes found in Sami’s fireplace, and then the gun found in Sami’s apartment. Austin studies up and gets a crash course from Frankie on law. Sami tells Simone that the first thing she needs to do is get a new doctor on her case that is not Mike Horton or Kayla Brady! Simone is confused, but Sami tells her that if she wants to save her baby’s life, then she needs to listen to her. Next, Sami tells Will that she needs him to do her an extreme favor. She says he cannot ask any questions about the favor, but he just has to do it and not ask any questions. Mike confesses to Carrie that when they kissed, he felt an incredible amount of passions and love for her. Julie and Megan work together for ways to try and stop Bo and Billie’s wedding. After talking with Bo, they realize he is not going to bend when it comes to his love for Billie. For whatever reason, he’s in love with her. Greta meets up with Austin, and they do lunch. Greta reveals to Austin that she has finally lost her virginity to the man she was meant to. Austin is blown away when Greta tells him the identity of her lover, and he is blown away. Carrie tells Mike that she does still feel something for him, but as of right now, she needs time to grieve her son with Austin and time to get over her heartbreak that Austin has done to her by agreeing to defend Sami. Megan and Julie realize the only way to stop Bo and Billie’s wedding is to find Hope and bring her back to Salem. For Megan, however, she wants both women out of Bo’s life. For Julie’s agenda, she wants Hope and Bo back together. Megan pushes Julie to accept the fact that they need to come up with another plan, but Julie refuses. Andy and Roman hit pay dirt when they find the case in Andy’s textbook! Lucas cannot take it anymore and storms into the room, shocking Mike and Carrie. Carrie asks Lucas how much he’s heard, and Lucas replies…that he’s heard everything. Julie tells Doug that they need to find Hope and bring her back to Salem in time to stop this wedding. Julie says to Doug that Hope will regret this forever if Bo and Billie marry. Julie speaks to Doug and tells him that she cannot leave Salem because she has to keep an eye on Billie. Doug promises Julie that he will find Hope in Europe and bring him back. Julie and Doug share a goodbye as he heads off to find her. Ironically, Julie’s partner-in-crime knows exactly where she is - in a warehouse in London in the cell that she has locker her in! Greta calls her lover and asks him to meet her on a yacht docked at the harbor that she has rented out so that they can spend a romantic day together. Roman and Andy meet with Bo and tell him the shocking case they've found. They tell Bo about a copycat killer in a small town in New England who randomly copycatted all of New England's most notorious serial killers. Bo is floored. He and Roman concur that if this is what this person is doing, there is not telling what he or she is going to do next! Carrie begs Lucas not to tell Austin that she shared a kiss with Mike. She says she wants the opportunity to tell Austin. Lucas lashes out at his half-brother, Mike, and tells them both he is disgusted by them. Lucas gives them until the end of the day to tell Austin the truth. Simone shocks Mike and Kayla when she tells them both that she is off her son’s case. Meanwhile, Sami demands Will recruit his cousin, Georgia, and go to the hospital to be bone marrow donors. Sami tells Will it is very important that he and Georgia do not tell ANYONE about this. Will is very skeptical and knows his mother is up to another one of her dirty schemes and plots, but Sami guilts Will by saying she is taking the fall for his killing Alan so he needs to do this for her. Will rushes to meet his cousin, Georgia, and go to the hospital. Sami sits in her jail cell and discusses to herself how her plan to save baby Keith yet keep her secret hidden is working. Greta arrives at the harbor to prepare the romantic lunch for her lover. He arrives and knocks on the door. Greta walks above to the bow of the ship. She swings open the door to her lover. He sweeps her into his arms, and they kiss passionately. When they pull away, his identity is revealed.

Two Characters Gone! After this week, readers should not expect to see much of Jaime Lynn Bauer and Bill Hayes who play Laura Horton and Doug Williams, respectively. The two talented cast members have now joined Lauren Ambrose (Stephanie Johnson) and Tonya Boyd (Celeste), who also last aired this week. "Both of them will last air on Friday, and they will both be written out in a very open ended way."...says the headwriter. "Julie will still be on the canvas which bodes very well for a return for Doug." "As previously reported, Josh Taylor (Roman Brady) will be out in late January, and Roark (Mike Horton), Christie (Carrie Brady), and Austin (Austin Peck) will all last air during February Sweeps. The blog is narrowing its cast in order to focus on a smaller number of cast members. The rest of the winter and the spring...well, let's just say everything is going to be 'Do or Die!' There's no room for any cast members who won't be used to their full potential."

Episode #279 - Thursday, January 4th, 2007: Jan and Cassie team up to discuss ways they can help Cassie pass off her baby as Max’s and ways Jan can land Jeremy’s heart. Billie flashes back Jack’s New Year’s Eve confession of love. OPENING Cassie asks Jan why she suddenly changed her mind and agreed to help her. Jan covers for her mother and does not tell Cassie that they are really cousins. Lucas recalls his kiss with Sami on New Years through the prison bars. Will and Lucas decide to stand by Sami during the trial. When alone, Will tells Sami that he won’t allow her to take the fall for Alan’s murder when he is the one who did it. Sami tells Will to shut his mouth and let her take the fall for this. Julie and Billie get into a very public argument at Salem Place…and Megan overhears. Jeremy bonds with Max. Jeremy explains to Max that he has a love/hate relationship with Jan. And he admits that he is very attracted to her. Carrie remembers her kiss with Mike. But she must snap out of it when Austin arrives. Austin begs Carrie not to turn her back on him because he is defending Sami in her murder trial. Austin pleads to Carrie to stand by her sister and stand with him at her side. Simone tells Sami that she needs the name of baby Keith’s parents because his health is failing. Sami refuses to tell Simone the truth - that she stole the baby. Megan flashes back to her kidnapping Hope and locking her up in a warehouse in London. She says that she will take Billie out, as well…and before her Valentine’s Day Wedding to Bo! Cassie tells Jan that she has arranged for her and Jeremy to be locked in the Dimera basement together. Carrie calls Austin a fool and a sucker for falling for Sami’s lies and deceit once again. Simone takes baby Keith to the hospital where Mike and Kayla tell Simone that things are not looking good for Keith. They tell him he has a rare disease among infants and that he is likely going to lose his life if they cannot find a compatible bone marrow donor. Simone immediately goes back to the prison and tells Sami she needs to know the identity of Keith’s parents or he will likely lose his life. Bo promises Billie that his love for Hope is in the past and that he is going to be commit to her at their wedding once and for all. Bo admits to his fiancée that this case is worrying him. Bo tells Billie that the attempted killer seems to be impersonating two famous serial attackers of Salem’s past. Sami struggles with whether or not to confess her crimes and come forward saying she stole Carrie’s baby and save the life of her nephew, Keith. Megan overhears Julie tell Doug that she needs to find Hope and bring her back in time to stop this wedding. Julie tells Doug that she will stop at nothing to make sure Bo and Billie do not marry. Shawn and Belle demand Jan tell them the identity of Trey’s mother. Jan refuses. She tells them that they need to forget about it and move on with their lives. Jan says she is finally over Shawn and that he and Belle need to be happy with Claire and Trey, but they say they cannot be happy as a family until they acquire legal custody of Trey. Jan still refuses to tell them the identity of the woman. Jan says the woman gave up her baby of her own free will and that is all that matters. Sami tries to scheme, manipulate, and come up with a way to get Keith his bone marrow transplant without exposing herself. Megan approaches Julie and tells her that she couldn’t help but overhearing. Megan says that she used to be the mother-in-law of Julie’s nephew, Shawn. Julie fires back that she knows who she is. Megan tells Julie that she would also like to see Billie out of Salem. Julie and Megan decide to work together to make sure Billie leaves Salem. Little does Julie know that she just made a deal with the devil. Carrie tells Mike that they need to talk about their kiss and his confession of love from the night before. Unbeknownst to them both, someone is listening to the conversation. Jan tells Shawn and Belle that even though they think of her as a terrible person that she is doing this for them out of respect and out of the kindness of her heart. Belle rolls her eyes. Jan says she swears on her life. Jan continues to say that the mother of Trey is not someone Belle and Shawn want to know…and certainly not anyone they want to mess with. Jan warns once the woman learns that her baby is in the possession of Shawn and Belle, that she will use Trey as leverage to get a whole lot of money from them. When alone, Jan flashes back to when she purchased baby Trey in order to pass him off as Shawn and her baby. Jan recalls traveling to Philadelphia to met a mother who was very desperate to fork over her baby for a load of money. The woman? Is Willow Espinoza. Jan snaps out of it and says, for Shawn and Belle's sake, she hopes they never track her down. Meanwhile, in a run down apartment in Philadelphia, Willow realizes she's blown through the last of the money Jan has given her. She decides to pay Jan Spears a visit! Episode #278 - Wednesday, January 3rd, 2007: Mike Horton reveals to Bo and Roman that Celeste is going to survive. He says the assailant stabbed and poisoned Celeste much like the Salem Slasher did in the 1980’s. Mike tells the Brady Brothers that Celeste was drugged into a drug-induced coma. The Salem Police Department allows everyone at the Penthouse Grill to leave. OPENING Jan approaches Cassie, Jeremy, Max, and Abby. Cassie fears Jan is going to tell Jeremy the truth about him really being the father of her baby and not Max. Bo and Roman worry that they are in over their heads with this investigation. At first they thought they were dealing with a Salem Serial Killer Copycat, but now they are unsure. Jack and Billie recall how, at midnight, they were in each other’s arms. Greta continues her passionate night of lovemaking to her mystery man. Stephanie slaps Steve! Steve tells Stephanie never to raise her hand to him. Kayla defends Stephanie, telling Steve that they have been put through so much pain, heartache, and grief over the past fifteen years. She says when they found out he was alive, they all assumed it was Lawrence or the Dimera’s that were behind it. She explains that her hatred for them is off the charts. And now, she must transfer that hatred to Steve…the man she loves more than life itself. Billie tells Jack that she feels like Bo’s mind and heart are always somewhere else and now that he is going to be investigating this case, he is bound to be even busier. She says with their wedding coming up in six weeks, she knows Julie’s harassment of her is bound to get even worse, as well. Mike confesses to Carrie that he still has very strong feelings for her. Meanwhile, Jack cannot take it anymore and decides to be honest with Billie about his feelings for her. Jack tells Billie that lately he has thought of her as more than his best friend. He says he could not have gotten through Jennifer’s leaving him or her funeral without Billie. Jack tells Billie that he is in love with her! Bo and Roman run into their nephew, Andy, son of Kimberly and Shane, at the hospital while he is visiting Caroline. Andy explains that he is going to be staying with Kayla for a few months while Kimberly recuperates from a surgery. The room service of the Salem Inn delivers some strawberries and whipped cream to the hotel room of Princess Greta. Bo and Roman have no answers as to why the copycat would attack Alice, but they realize he or she just wanted to silence Celeste. Andy overhears and reveals to his uncles that he was studying criminology at Oxford in England before moving to Salem. The Brady Bros. are shocked when Andy says he remembers studying a case very similar to this. Bo and Roman are intrigued. Cassie is floored when Jan does not expose her! Instead, Jan manipulates Max and Abby into keeping the truth about their reunion from Cassie even longer. Abby and Max get into a fight when he says he fears the effect the truth about their relationship will have on the pregnancy and his baby. Stephanie tells Steve that feels gutted by his actions, and she was only a baby when he made this decision. Kayla and Stephanie say that Steve compounded the problem by lying to them for weeks. They both tell Steve that they can’t get past this. Steve reiterates that he did this out of his love for them. Greta and her mystery lover share the strawberries and whipped cream with each other as they feed one another. The question still remains as to who her mystery man is. Kayla breaks down in front of Steve. She says it always goes back to the fact that Steve doesn’t feel like he deserves her love. She says that has always been his problem…their problem. Kayla informs Steve that it won’t be their problem any more. She explains through tears if he just trusted in their love…Steve kisses away her tears and begs for another chance. Greta tells the mystery man that she waited thirty years for the right man to come along and that she could not be any happier in her choice of the man that she chose. The man kisses her, and they begin making love once again. Kayla tells Steve that she cannot give him any more chances. She cries that she had to live without him for fifteen years, and now she’ll have to do it again. Steve falls to his knees and begs her no. Kayla and Steve share a heartbreaking breakup. They share a tender kiss through their tears.

Episode #277 - Tuesday, January 2nd, 2007: Jan reels from Megan’s confession that she is a Dimera. Jan is confused. She tells Megan to explain herself. Megan pulls Jan aside to the balcony of the Penthouse Grill and tells Jan that it’s true! She is a DIMERA! Celeste is rushed to University Hospital. Bo and Roman cannot believe it when Kayla and Mike tell them they found a raven feather in Celeste’s hand. Bo asks Roman if he knows what this means…Roman says that of course he does. Steve and Kayla finally come face to face. Kayla breaks down in front of Steve. He asks her what is wrong, and she snaps back saying she doesn’t know how he could lie to her like this. Steve now realizes that Kayla knows the truth! Megan confesses to Jan that before she married her father, she lived in Salem…as Megan Hathaway! She goes on to say that Stefano Dimera is her father! Jan is floored as she realizes that she is the granddaughter of the most evil man ever to hit Salem…and the most powerful! Kate agrees to help Victor keep Vivian from blackmailing him. Kate says that as long as Victor keeps her secret about giving birth to Stefano’s twins all of those years ago then she will not tell anyone that Victor was responsible for the fire at the fashion show that almost killed Caroline. Kate and Victor realize they were working together once again to keep their secrets…but they also realize they still need to break up Shawn and Belle. Andrew “Andy” Donovan steps off of a plane at the Salem Airport and immediately hails a cab bound for University Hospital. Andy sits with his grandmother Caroline. He takes her hand prays for her. Bo and Roman question Marlena who claims that she was at Midnight Mass during Alice’s attack and in the dining room in the dark during the black out just like everyone else. Bo and Roman are unsure to believe her. Roman tells Bo that he can sense something is going on with Marlena who, meanwhile, has a hallucination about Kristen. Steve begs Kayla to give him a chance to explain the situation, but she refuses. He locks her in a room at Titan and tells her that she is going to listen to him! Shawn and Belle receive word that they will not have any trouble winning custody of Trey from Jan…but Trey’s birth mother’s identity will pose a problem. Shawn and Belle realize they need to learn where Jan acquired Trey before she passed him off as Shawn’s baby. Carrie confesses to Mike that she was upset with Austin and that is the reason she kissed him at midnight. Mike is hurt, but he tells her that she must have some type of feelings left for him or she would not have done it. Carrie reluctantly agrees. Megan says that Cassie is the genetically engineered daughter of Marlena Evans and Tony Dimera…which makes Cassie and Jan cousins! Megan tells Jan that she NEEDS to deceive Jeremy and join forces with Cassie to ensure they both get what they want. Kate tells Vivian that she knows all about her blackmailing Victor for 51% of Titan stock. Kate demands Vivian drop this because Victor knows a secret about herself that, if revealed, could spell the end of not only Kate but also of Alamain International, as well! Kate tells Vivian if Victor goes public with her secret then Vivian will regret it because it will hurt Alamain International. Bo and Roman question everyone at the Penthouse Grill, and everyone’s alibi is the same: at the Penthouse Grill during the blackout. The Brady Brothers are unsure as to who the attempted killer can be. They re-call the Salem Slasher of 1984 who poisoned and stabbed his victims, leaving a Raven’s feather in their hands. Bo and Roman are baffled. They thought they were dealing with a Salem Serial Killer copycat, but they realize now that they could be dealing with a Salem Slasher copycat. Steve explains to Kayla in a passionate moment that he had the I.S.A. fake his death and drain his memory because Lawrence threatened to kill Kayla and Stephanie. He goes on to say it was all supposed to be temporary until they found the evidence to bust Lawrence. Once that happened, Kayla and Stephanie were supposed to be told the truth and he was supposed to return. He says that the I.S.A. was not planning on Lawrence evading them…and Steve managing to evade the I.S.A. for fifteen years. Steve tearfully explains to Kayla that he did this to protect her and Stephanie. Kayla is heartbroken. She says she can’t believe Steve was responsible for the last fifteen years of pain and heartbreak. Steve and Kayla turn to see Stephanie standing in the doorway, crying.

Episode #276 - Monday, January 1st, 2007: The Salemites scream and run for cover as the glass from the skylight shatters and falls into the main dining room of the Penthouse Grill. All of Salem reacts to Celeste’s bloody, lifeless body that rests before them. OPENING! Steve is confused as to why Kayla has just slapped him, but she runs off to care for Celeste. John tries to comfort Marlena who was the person closest to being directly under the skylight and thus the person closest to Celeste as she fell. Austin rushes out to the balcony to get Mike and catches Mike and Carrie in another compromising position. If he had arrived seconds earlier, he would have seen their midnight kiss. Austin tells Mike that he is needed in the dining room, and he rushes off to take care of Celeste. When alone, Carrie tells Austin that they are through - forever. She says his agreeing to be Sami’s attorney is the last straw. Jan cannot believe it when Cassie tells her Jeremy is the man who is the father of her baby, the man she needs Jan’s help in fooling. Jan tells Cassie not only does she refuse to go along with it, but she plans on telling Jeremy the truth! Cassie begs Jan not to do so because then Jeremy will tell his cousin, Abby, and Max! Bo, Roman, John, and Shane investigate the rooftop and find nothing. They realize this is the second crime of the copycat killer. Kayla and Mike realize Celeste has been stabbed. They begin to bandage her wounds and attempt to stop the bleeding. Kayla and Mike tell Bo that they have a pulse, and Celeste appears to be in a surprisingly decent condition, given the stabbing and the fall she took. But they say the ambulance must arrive soon if they are to save her life. Marlena has a vision of Kristen harassing her. Suddenly, Kristen multiplies. Multiple Kristens harass Marlena and get in her face, screaming and hackling. Marlena snaps out of it and realizes that she’s slowly losing her mind. Bo and Roman tell John that this person appears to be a Salem Serial Killer copycat…claiming the cunningness of the attacks and the sadistic nature are very similar. It is because of this, they say to John, that they feel they must question Marlena about the attacks on Celeste and Alice. Cassie tells Jan that she will never land Jeremy if he knows he is the father of Cassie’s baby. But Jan tells Cassie that telling him the truth will endear her to Jeremy. Jan tells Cassie to relish the last few seconds of her fantasy world she has built for herself. Cassie warns Jan not to do this! Cassie reminds Jan that they made an excellent team when they exposed Jan and that they can be that way again. Celeste is taken away to University Hospital. Mike tells Bo and Roman that the attacker stabbed Celeste in her vocal chords, but the gashes were not deep. Bo and Roman speculate that the copycat just wanted to keep Celeste from telling them his or her identity, but not kill her. Roman and Bo wonder if they are dealing with a Salem Serial Killer copycat at all…just then, Kayla tells Bo what she found in Celeste’s hand a - raven’s feather! Bo and Roman look at each other in shock. Jan bumps into her mother, Megan, and informs her about Jeremy and Cassie. She says she is going to expose Cassie’s secret. Megan blurts out that Jan cannot do that! Jan is confused and asks Megan why not. Megan is hesitant to tell her that she and Cassie must stick together since they are both cousins. Jan demands her mother tell her why she shouldn not expose Cassie! Megan tells Jan she just can’t! Jan tells her mother this is ridiculous! She says she is going to tell Jeremy the truth right now. Megan grabs Jan and throws her around: “Jan! You can’t!” YOU’RE A DIMERA!”

Episode #275 - Friday, December 29th, 2006 - PART TWO!: STOP! Click here if you haven't read PART ONE! Celeste continues to visit with her mystery guest, who clutches a knife tighter and tighter. Celeste tells the person that her premonitions about Alice’s attempted killer are getting stronger and stronger, clearer and clearer. Celeste says that she is glad for this time to catch up with her good friend. The attempted killer clutches the knife once more. Celeste tells her guest that she is not crazy and does not belong in the mental ward. She says all of her premonitions have come true, and if Abraham and Alexandra were still in town, then they would see to it she is set free from here. Suddenly, Celeste gets a vision of Alice’s House Burning. She can see the assailant’s feet. Her eyes slowly wander up the figure’s body…just as the face is about to appear, Celeste snaps out of it. “No….no. It can’t be true…You were there? At Alice’s? It’s you?…You. YOU!” The attacker lunges at Celeste with the knife. OPENING. After an hour of total darkness, the lights at the Titan building turn on once again. The hostess, Melissa, explains to everyone that it was a mishap with the building’s new security system. Everyone reconvenes at the Penthouse Grill Dining Room area. Bo and John realize that when the power was out, you could not see two feet in front of your face. Bo worries another attack may have happened when the lights were out. They realize it would be right up the Salem Serial Killer’s alley to do such a thing, and if this person is a copycat criminal, the chances are likely. Cassie tells Jan that is the man who is the father of her baby. She points to Jeremy. Jan is appalled. Shane reunites with Steve. Shane explains that Kimberly has arranged for Andrew to come stay with Kayla for a few months while Kimber recovers from a surgery. He says he is just here to help Andrew settle in. Shane and Steve are interrupted before they can catch up any further. Greta extends a written invitation to her love, asking him to join her at the Salem Inn. She has the waiter deliver it to the man of her dreams. The question is…is it Eric? Or Frankie? Bo and John realize no one was attacked during the blackout, and everyone is accounted for. Kate pulls Victor to the side and asks him what the hell he wants with her. Victor pulls her into a room and tells her that he will not tell anyone about her giving birth to Stefano’s twins if she does one thing for him. Kate is outraged. She tells Victor that she can’t believe he would do this after all they’ve been through! Victor tells Kate that he will tell her one of his secrets so they can be even. He says he wants nothing from her and does not want to hurt her. He confesses that he set the fire that ruined Alamain’s fashion show! Kristen corners Eric on the balcony. Eric asks Kristen what the hell she wants. Kristen tells Eric that she wouldn’t mind a repeat of their night together. John tries to reconnect with Marlena, but she won’t stand for it. When alone, Marlena remembers her session with Dr. Rae Choi. Marlena worries that she is losing her mind when she has more visions of Kristen. Kate says that Victor is then responsible for Caroline’s coma. And Victor agrees. Kate asks him why he is telling her this Victor says he has feelings for Kate and always has…always will. He says he respects her and doesn’t want to hurt her, but he warns that Vivian knows his secret and is blackmailing him for 51% of Titan stock. Victor tells Kate that her secret is safe with him if she can head off Vivian. Julie harasses Billie once more. Billie tells Julie that she’s had enough. Julie says Billie is a piece of trash just like Bonnie Lockhart was. She says Billie is no good just like her mother, Kate, and more than likely her daughter, Georgia. Billie pulls back and socks Julie in the face. Eric is confused. He tells Kristen they have never had a night together. Suddenly, it clicks in Eric’s mind. He shakes his head in horror. “No! It wasn’t you!”…he exclaims. Kristen smiles wickedly and fires back: “It’s true, lover boy. I’m the woman you made love to that night - scratch that - had wild sex with that night. Repeatedly, may I add.” Eric continues shaking his head in shame and horror. Carrie tells Austin that if he follows through on being Sami’s lawyer, then they are over…forever. Austin tells Carrie that he HAS to do this…for Sami, for Lucas, for Will…for all of the Brady’s. Carrie says goodbye to Austin…forever. Jan asks Cassie if the man she is referring to is Jeremy Horton. Cassie says yes. Jan tells Cassie that’s the man SHE has fallen for! Cassie can’t believe it. Jan tells Cassie that she will not go along with this. She says that she is going to tell Jeremy the truth! Shane bumps into Kayla. They hug and reunite. They catch up on old times. Shane says that he wishes his love with Kimberly could have lasted like hers and Steve’s. He says they could truly get through anything together. Kayla tells Shane that he shouldn’t give up on Kimber if he loves her, but he says they are different people now. Shane asks Kayla how she managed to forgive Steve so fast. Kayla realizes Shane might be referring to the secret Steve was keeping from her. She asks Shane how he knew. He says that he is the one who gave Steve the I.S.A. file in London…the file that explained how Steve was responsible for his presumed death. Kayla faints. At the Salem Inn, Greta opens the door to her mysterious paramour. She smiles. Melissa reveals that they have achieved their fundraising goal! The countdown to midnight begins. Bo and Jack separate Julie and Billie. Bo grabs Julie, while Jack grabs Billie. Kayla awakens. She runs to be with Steve. They come face to face. Lucas arrives the prison to be with Sami. She is shocked…and overjoyed to see him. Victor fondly remembers Caroline…as Maggie tearfully thinks of Mickey. John and Marlena end up together as he realizes she is in emotional turmoil. Kayla and Steve come face to face. He leans in for a kiss. She slaps him across the face. Carrie runs out onto the balcony, upset and crying. Mike follows her out on the balcony. They share a kiss. Melissa cannot find Frankie….or Eric…or Greta! Greta makes love in her candlelit room at the Salem Inn. It is a sweet, yet passionate lovemaking. After thirty years, Greta loses her virginity to the man she loves. The clock strikes midnight. Shawn and Belle, Max and Abby share midnight kisses. Greta and her mystery man make love. John holds Marlena. Kayla looks at Steve with disgust. Lucas and Sami share a peck through the jail cell bars. Jack holds Billie as he has just ripped her away from Julie. All of a sudden, there is a creaking. Bo looks up and sees a something resting on skylight. There is a loud crash. Everyone looks up to see the skylight of the dining room shattering. Everyone screams and runs. A body falls through the skylight and onto the ground. Everyone looks on in horror. John comforts Marlena, who screams the victim’s name: “CELEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESTE!”

Episode #275 – Friday, December 29, 2006: The New Year’s Eve party at the Penthouse Grill in the Titan building begins. Everyone in Salem gets decked out and dressed to the nines in order to ring in the new year together. They realize, however, that their main goal of the evening is to help raise the funds in order to rebuild the Horton House and to help the family pay for Mickey and Alice’s medical bills. Kayla, Marlena, Greta, Melissa, Abby, Cassie, Belle, Kate, Vivian, Georgia, Carrie, Laura, Maggie, Stephanie, Billie, and Julie all arrive looking more stunning than ever. Steve, John, Eric, Frankie, Max, Jeremy, Shawn, Victor, Mike, Austin, Lucas, Roman, Bo, Jack, and Doug show up looking equally handsome. Megan and Jan arrive, as well, setting the room afire with whispers and gossip, but it alls stops when a bigger pariah enters - Kristen Blake! OPENING. Victor asks Melissa Horton if she will be the hostess of the evening, keeping the party guests updated on the donated pledges. Steve and Kayla are eager to ring in their first New Year’s together in over sixteen years. But he realizes that he must tell Kayla the truth…tonight! Steve flashes back to the hotel room in London where Shane handed him the I.S.A. file that revealed STEVE was the one behind Steve’s memory loss and faked death. Steve remembers how he came up with the plan in order to smoke out Lawrence Alamain. Abby and Max vow to tell Cassie the truth about their reunion. Meanwhile, Jeremy finally believes Cassie when she says that he is not the father of her baby. Jan confesses to Megan that despite her heated and disdain-filled relationship with Jeremy, she can’t help but be extremely attracted to him! Jan tells Megan that Jeremy is the first man to make her forget about Shawn. Sami rots in prison while Carrie and Austin continue to fight over the fact that he has agreed to be Sami’s lawyer. Eric flashes back to the night he blacked out. He remembers sleeping with a woman that night! He realizes he has not been faithful to Greta. He pushes her away….and right into the arms of Frankie! Celeste has a disturbing vision about the person who burned down Alice’s house. Julie lashes out at Billie telling her that she is nothing but a second rate Hope in Bo’s eyes. Bo and Jack tell Julie to stop, but she refuses. Billie and Julie fire back at one another. Julie dares Billie to slap her again like she did before. Billie tells Julie to keep running her mouth, and she just might! Victor reads the file his private investigator has found on Kate. He realizes now why Kate pushed him away in the summertime. Victor regrets what he has to do, but he realizes it must be done. He calls Kate into the boardroom of Titan. In casual conversation, he mentions to Kate that a new security system was installed in the building that runs on power. He says if the power ever goes out, the whole building shuts down. Then, he tells Kate that he knows the truth…he says he knows her biggest secret…the reason she ended things with him in the summer. Victor tells Kate that he knows she gave birth to Stefano Dimera’s twins thirty some years ago! Kate is horrified. Steve tells Kayla and Stephanie that he has something he must tell them. Meanwhile, Shane Donovan steps off a plane at the Salem Airport and heads to Titan. Jan and Cassie remember how well they worked together when they teamed up to expose Mimi at the altar last Spring. They realize they could work together again…to get what they want! Greta recognizes her love for Frankie, but she wonders if her love for Eric is on another level. She thinks Eric might understand her on a level that Frankie does not, citing the fact that Frankie went for an extravagant gift while Eric opted for a sentimental present for her. But she feels deeper for Frankie. She has never felt so confused. Greta books a room at the Salem Inn. She says she is going to make love to the man of her dreams tonight. Jan tells Cassie that she needs her help landing a new man in her life. Cassie agrees to help her, but she first asks Jan to help her trick the real father of her baby into thinking he is NOT the father! Little do they know that they are talking about the same man - JEREMY HORTON! Laura and Maggie tell Georgia and Will an old wive’s tale…that the person you’re with at midnight is the person you’re destined to be with for the following year. Celeste calls Bo and tells him that she is on the verge of finding out who tried to kill Alice! But the mysterious assailant overhears… Minutes later, the shadowy figure exits the Titan Building. On the way out, He/She passes Shane who enters the building. Once outside, He/She cuts the power coming into the building. The lights go dead. Screams are heard. Cries of confusion and shock can be heard, Every door, elevator, and window in Titan automatically closes and locks. The dark figure walks off into the night, and moments later, arrives at University Hospital. The elevator opens. The assailant enters and takes the elevator to the Psychiatric Wing. The attacker makes it past the nurse’s station, undetected. The mysterious person grabs a set of keys at the station, sneaks down the hall, and arrives at “Room 426.” The door is unlocked, and the attempted killer enters. Celeste Perrault awakens. “Please, Dah’ling, have a seat here, won’t you?” The mystery guest clutches a knife and walks forward. *FREEZE FRAME*

Episode #274 – Thurssday, December 28, 2006: Exactly one week has passed since the vicious attack on Alice Horton. It is now New Year’s Eve. The Salemites have stoically celebrated Christmas, going through the motions of the rituals of the holiday, but really neglecting the joy that the day brings. With Caroline, Alice, and Mickey all in the hospital and Jennifer’s recent death, there was little to celebrate in Salem this year. Everyone reacts to Celeste’s prediction that Alice’s fire was arson…and that one of them is the arsonist! OPENING Doug, Julie, Maggie, Abby, Jeremy, Melissa, Shawn, and Laura all stand by Alice’s side. Mike and Kayla tell the Horton’s that Alice remains stable. She suffered sever burns, smoke inhalation that led to breathing troubles for Alice while she was sleeping. She could not breathe for several minutes, and as a result, remains unconscious. The doctors warn that Alice may awaken with some minor brain damage. The Horton’s continue to pray at her side. Bo, Roman, Steve, and John brainstorm at the Police Station. They now have evidence that the fire was arson. Greta recalls Celeste’s prediction that she was going to make love for the first time soon. Max and Abby have given Cassie a Christmas week free of pain and heartbreak, but now they agree the time is up, and Cassie must learn the truth – that Mabby is back together! Sami begs Austin to help her get off for killing Alan. He is reluctant because of all of the horrible things she has done, but he agrees. He asks Sami what she wants him to do. She shocks him by asking him to be her lawyer! Victor decides to throw an extravagant party at the Penthouse Grill on New Year’s Eve Night in order to raise funds to help the Horton’s rebuild their house and to pay for Alice and Mickey’s medical bills. Carrie is disturbed when she has a dream about Mike and Austin forcing her to choose between them! Bo, Roman, Steve, and John get eyewitness testimony from a neighbor that they saw someone lurking around the Horton yard, but since everything was so well lit with Christmas lights and since everyone was out and about for Midnight Mass, the neighbor did not see anything strange about the black-hooded figure. Bo, Roman, and John agree that the sadistic nature of the fire sounds like it matches the demeanor of Marlena/Tony during the Salem Serial “Killings.” Frankie continues to comfort Melissa over Jennifer’s death, her father’s (Mickey’s) heart attack, and Alice’s attack. Greta seeks comfort in Eric once again. Greta realizes that she loves Frankie, but she recalls how Frankie got her a lavish gift for Christmas that took her breath away while Eric got her one that was sentimental and tugged at her heartstrings. She realizes also that Eric is always there for her. She remains torn! Meanwhile, Frankie tells Melissa nothing more than friendship can happen between them. Megan and Jan discuss Jan’s deepening feelings for Jeremy. Megan is shocked that Jan is over Shawn! Jan says that something about Jeremy really gets to her. Meanwhile, Cassie goes above and beyond to try and convince Jeremy beyond a shadow of a doubt that Max is the father of her unborn baby and NOT Jeremy! Shawn and Belle cannot wait to ring in 2007 together. Bo, Doug, and Julie begin to worry about Hope’s whereabouts. While Bo is too busy investigating the case to spend time with Billie, she finds herself growing closer and closer to Jack! Celeste tells the police on the telephone that she is on the verge of seeing the attempted killer’s face! But Roman, Bo, Steve, and John realize they can’t base anything off of Celeste’s predictions. Eric feels like he is moments away from landing Greta’s heart once again, but he gets a flash back of making love to a woman the night he got drunk. He realizes that he is starting to remember the night he blacked out. Eric is devastated when he realizes he has not been loyal to Greta. Victor hits pay dirt when his private investigator FINALLY uncovers the truth about Kate! The Private Investigator hands Victor a thick file on Kate. Austin tells Sami that he is not an attorney and knows nothing about law. Sami tells Austin that with Mickey being in the hospital and Frankie turning his back on her because of what she’s done to Carrie, she has no one. She can’t afford anyone! Sami says Austin is smart and can get a defense together for her if he researches it, well enough. Austin agrees. Carrie walks in and is enraged to learn that Austin is going to be defending Sami! She slaps Austin across the face and storms out. Bo, Roman, John, and Steve fear that they might be dealing with a copycat killer who is impersonating the Salem Serial Killer! Meanwhile, in a darkened room, a gloved hand holds an invitation to the New Year’s Eve Party at Titan! The mysterious assailant sticks a knife in the invitation and cuts the paper into shreds.
