The Republican Party no longer believes in democracy, the Constitution, or the rule of law. They are actively working against this country, many of them with the backing and blessing of a hostile foreign power.

In this case, support would mean taking steps to get him hospitalized. At this point even without the politics I think there's a decent case for civil committal. But perhaps all we can do is wait for him to harm himself. The people I'm really worried for are his kids.

I know it's fanfiction but I choosing to believe that Mueller's office has dirt on Kavanaugh and just leaked some of it to Flake. For all the discussion about sexual assault, I've felt all through this that looking into whoever paid off his debt was the key to taking him down.

I'll be honest, more and more I think this ends with violence. Not the Kavanaugh situation in particular but just the dismantling of our democracy. This country can't go on like this. We weren't built for minority rule.

Since @Khan likes his soap references, I feel like Graham is turning into Roxie Shayne at the end of Johnny Bauer's illness. I wouldn't be surprised if he launched himself out the window.

What's amazing is that Kavanaugh's defenders have claimed that Ford is smearing an innocent man with false allegations so in order to defend him they...smear an innocent man with false allegations, essentially using the "all white people look alike" approach.
