  1. To be fair, we know it really doesn't matter when someone is born on DAYS as their SORAS has been all over the place, plus I suspect they might care more about how it ages Gabi / Will at this point (I think that's why they avoided SORASing Will despite it being rumoured for ages; same with Shawn D). As I said, I kind of hope they don't age her to more than 16, but I'm guessing they might do 18 since that's Holly's age and they're probably trying to build an age group where Doug3 (21-ish?) can be included.
  2. I feel like the issue is that they've obviously shoe-horned her into the show and it does come across as they're sort of making things up as they go along. I feel otherwise we should've known from the get-go that Pamela was her former agent from her modelling days; that would've also made the whole thing where she acts like her "fixer" when she broke into Bill and Hayley's house make more sense. I hope that in the long run it'll eventually straighten itself out.
  3. Well, we'll see how she reads on screen. That's a red carpet look with a lot of make up. She might end up looking quite a few years younger with more subtle make up and a bit more dressed down, especially as she's only 21 irl.
  4. I hope they make her 15/16 at most, but I don't know how young this actress reads.
  5. That promo actually makes me want to watch Sisters, which always seemed too much like a milquetoast drama to me.
  6. IIRC, Leslie was described as being a bartender in her official character description, so I assume that's how she met Ted initially. But also, since the show only has two sets where she can bartend (country club and Uptown), they're not going to have her do it there as long as she is running around in different week every week. With that said, it'd be nice if they had her off hand mention she's been bartending (or something) when she's not been in a couple of episodes. Down the road, it wouldn't surprise me if she ends up owning Uptown though. It would be a way for her to stay on the canvas after she's revealed as a devious schemer (assuming all the illegal stuff doesn't come out).
  7. She's a generation younger than Anita, lol! The Articulettes are supposed to be a 70s/80s group - hence the use of The Emotions "Best of My Love" in the first episode.
  8. I feel like putting Trisha Grant in the opening credits as a contract player means that they at least have a projection for her character for maybe a year or more. I can't see MVJ to have planned such a short arc for a series regular.
  9. Yeah, I think she's fine for now. However, long-term might become a problem as Gabrielle Carteris wasn't an issue in the 90210 pilot, but by the end of season one... oof. I don't think the actress who is playing Sam is overly showing her age (to me at least), but that can quickly change as few are Bianca Lawson, try as they might.
  10. Once again, Bold is monetizing their show and securing their future in the digital era. Other remaining soaps should take note, but we know they won't.
  11. BTG seems to have settled around 1.5-1.6m viewers, which is good enough for it. It'd be nice to see further gains, but as I've said previously - linear tv is dying in general, so it keeping those numbers will be more vital.
  12. IA. I mean, how many of these people do you actually see going into becoming brain surgeons? They either get a cushy spot at the family business or they become something akin a influenza, DJ, model or some other low-effort crap. And why wouldn't they? Working for things are hard after all. I think it makes more sense that Samantha would be drawn to modelling - at least until she suffers the darkest aspects of it (well, perhaps not Dubai-port-a-potty dark). I mean, sure, down the road I'd like to see some of those kids grow proper ambitions, but currently they need these characters to intersect. And we already have the idealistic civil rights lawyer.
  13. https://deadline.com/2025/04/the-bold-and-the-beautiful-renewed-three-seasons-cbs-1236363161/ Other than that, it apparently averages "nearly" 3.2 million viewers in Live+7 viewing per CBS. At least it's nice to see CBS remain committed to their soaps long-term I guess.
  14. I'm guessing they're kind of adding Nicole spraying Febreeze as a character trait, so it might not need to be obvious with the label all the time. This is sort of the thing Irna originally talked about when selling soap products on soap operas - work it into the story rather than the infamous "Chao's Chicken" scene from DAYS.
  15. TBH, from my experience a lot of people are seeking to get out of it because they are tired of the freelance grind and wants something more stable. Once he gets embroiled in the Martin scandal, that could be a set up to get him to do something else. To be honest, the only one's that's halfway interested in me in the Andre / Ashley / Derek trio is Derek (limited acting abilities and all) and Hayley having a conversation at the end of the week. Not that I want them to be bumping uglies any time soon, but I think the angle of Hayley and Derek getting to be unlikely friends is an interesting angle since it could cause some minor tension and sort of be believable since he's far away enough from the Hayley / Naomi drama that you could see it happening. And Hayley kind of needs someone to vent to that's not in Bill or Dani's sphere. But yeah, I'm not feeling Andre and Ashley (again, why?!) or Andre and Dani. With the latter I hope it leads to Nicole absolutely ripping into Dani because it's just gross. As I understand it, he was taken in by Nicole and Ted, so Dani should've known him as a teen (?) and would've been "aunt Dani".
  16. What's funny about this is that most journalists I know work freelance these days - very few publications can afford to have a full time staff, so it technically is the perfect "job" for him since the kids would be in school most of the day. So I don't really see the issue, but I guess he's meant to be an investigative reporter type? I think they plucked a bunch of typical soap opera professions, but you're right. I don't think they thought much how it all would intersect with each other. I feel like Andre being a photographer / documentarian has an extremely limited angle when this silly hospital story is done. I think it's great that they have so many sets, but I'm not sure they thought everything through. I wouldn't be surprised if we suddenly see characters make "surprising" career choices in the coming year.
  17. SAY YES YES
  18. https://passions.fandom.com/wiki/Beth_Crane Why does Passions have its own Fandom.
  19. I feel like Shanice is either someone who is going home to her completely normal husband and three children to bitch about her day OR she's going to turn out to be a complete psycho.
  20. I'll always love those cheesy-ass scenes that soaps do to set up a murder. Never change.
  21. BTG is still settling in total viewers so hopefully we'll see some pluses there come May sweeps at least, but seems to be doing okay in the W25-54 demo.
  22. Andrew sure has glorious tits and nips in those tight shirts.
