I broke down and watched the new episode, and they did have a lot of scenes of him being guilt-ridden. I wish I could believe this meant they won't go full panto psycho with him, but it's difficult to believe they will be able to resist the easy temptation. I hope if Hawley wants to stay, they will find a way to redeem Robert, because he's done such a tremendous job in the role. Even in that interview he was so polite and wonderful, in spite of that idiot woman who didn't bother to do one bit of basic research. The whole thing just frustrates me so much. If they don't give Robert the many, many chances Andy and Cain were given, it's just a huge joke. I do feel sorry for Andy sometimes (I thought Kelvin did a good job today) but most characters would have been long gone after what he did to Jo. Meh @ the spoiler. I figured. Let the witch hunt begin.... And I don't see them redeeming Robert. I just feel it in my bones. I hope I am proven wrong but I just don't see it. I feel like this was EM's answer to EE's Lucy whodunnit and Robert is expendable to them. It'll generate buzz and shock factor because he's Jack Sugden's son, but once that is over, he'll be crucified and suffer the same fate as Cameron. Or Declan. He's their psycho of the moment. I just wish that Katie would've died at her own hands. Like in an accident or something. Or hell, have Chrissie kill her after her admission with Chrissie wanting to silence her to spare her dignity within the village. Something.

Ryan Hawley is a gorgeous and a true find but it's obvious the show isn't invested in Robert long term. I see this being drawn out for another year. And dear God, we gotta listen to Aaron whine about it for the whole time. Wonder how long it'll take before all the Dingles get involved too....

Why? Why did they make Robert kill Katie? Why did they turn him into a killer? Now we know that Robert won't last in the long haul.

Possibly. I'm just glad I watched them all before they were taken down. I seriously hate P&G, if it was them who reported the YT account, sometimes. If they would open their vault and share clips and sell DVDs again, soap fans wouldn't post clips on YT. They'd stock up on the DVDs.

I think that was the one thing that Doug Marland screwed up on IMO. I know that Rosanna was supposed to be his backup Lily, but he should've stopped while he was ahead. One Lily was enough. And sassy and jaded Rosanna was the one thing that I commend HS for during his run. I just hate that he immediately declawed her and made her a baby obsessed idiot during the end of her run. CM is the only reason why I'd like Rosanna in later years. Oh and I am one of the few that actually liked Rosanna and Paul. That was the only pairing that RH's Paul shined in. He was OK with Emily but Paul and Meg nearly drove me over the freaking edge. I was glad when Meg went nutty in the end. It was the best thing to happen to that character in a long time.

That boggled my mind too. Weren't there reports that Yolanda begged the women not to speak on her daughter's situation during filming? And apparently Brandi is going to toss it in her face so.... Guess the viper is about to take a bite out of her hand too....

But didn't you all see the star factor in Courtney! She had leading lady written all over her! Just kidding. But you are gonna stop shading my Rosanna.
