Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RHOA: Kenya's scene with Roger Bobb was funny. I laughed hysterically at the loose interpretation of the women she despised. She's is so shady as hell, but I am glad that she decided to change the concept of her show altogether. No need in giving your foes any kind of shine. Pay them hoes in dust. Kandi and her excessive crying annoys me. For her to be such a millionaire, why did she do a thorough background check on her promoter? Ain't no way he would've robbed me of my coins. Plus, I think she needs to fire Don Juan. His ass is getting too comfortable with his insults, and it took everything for Todd not to address him. Kandi needs to pull aside and remind him who signs his check. But if it was me, he'd be out the door. Nene and Porsha's scene was hypocritical and stupid. Everything about them always goes back to material goods. And the things they were bringing up about Claudia were things they suffered from too not too long ago. Not having a house. Um Porsha, didn't Kordell toss your ass out and change the locks? And Nene, did you get tossed out your first house when it came out that Greg was involved in insurance scams? Then cars and bags. Porsha, didn't Kordell get your car back in the divorce? And Nene, wasn't your car repossessed at Home Depot back in s1? Finally, having a husband. Nene, didn't you and Greg break up? Didn't he embarrass your ass on national radio along with exposing you. And Porsha, Kordell divorced your ass via Twitter. It gets no more embarrassing. Furthermore, Claudia has said numerous times that she has been married. But why do these women act like marriage is something to be accomplished? Not everyone wants to be married or is made for marriage. These two should know as their marriages sh*t on the entire institution of marriage. Business arrangements at best.... The exchange between Porsha and Claudia was so strange. I do think that Claudia has to learn to let things go. But this is first season, so this is expected. And Porsha made me burst into laughter when she said that Claudia wouldn't allow her to finish her sentence. Porter needs to first of all learn how to form an entire sentence or thought period before anyone can interrupt her. But it was clear in that scene that both women were looking for a fight; however, Claudia was classy enough to let it go. Phraudra and her mother.... I don't believe anything these two say. They play up to the cameras too much for and both are inauthentic. I don't think that Apollo would ever hurt his children. He may do other things but I don't see that man hurting his children. You can see that he loves his kids [especially Ayden] with all of his heart. Phrogdra really needs to stop using this platform to bash her kids' father. Does she not realize they will eventually see this and feel some way about it? She needs to get a grip.... I cannot wait for next week when Apollo whips out the receipts! I was gagging at the previews! And Apollo knew what he was doing by handing the info over to the messiest of them all, Peter. It's about to get juicy and I cannot wait! Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
How did the general audience receive Charity and Debbi's gay romances? Were they well received? Because remember, EE did an insta-gay story with Sonia, which fans loathed. And thanks for the YT pages. I'll subscribe to them so I'll get to see their future uploads. And I am shocked but not so shocked that Hawley struggled for years. That's how it usually is in the industry. The mediocre actors go on to achieve 'greatness' while the true greats are overshadowed. Regardless his choices, I hope he goes on to have a successful career going forward.

LMAO! I know a lot of people hated the Michael and Stacey pairing because Michael became so cruel to Donna. From watching their story during the SoapNet run, I somewhat understood why he was such a prick. I mean she did sleep with Jake, one of his least favorite people. Now I didn't care for Amanda chewing into Iris and I always felt Amanda was too harsh towards her. I know Iris did heinous things towards her but Amanda was not saint. Especially when she was boinking Evan. I always felt she should've thanked Iris because Evan was Amanda's best pairing beside Cameron. I never cared for Sam and Amanda. Their romance is the early depiction of what is wrong with daytime now--young couples rushed into a romance then marriage and kids. Neither character got the chance to find themselves. They were just slapped together so quickly.

I didn't know that Ryan Hawley was married. I'm sure the relocation on the daily can be draining even though it is easier to travel over there with the various types of public transportation. Oh and I am shocked that Danny is willing to stay as long as the show will keep him. Again, I don't see him staying long term unless he has to. I knew I recognized Bill Ward from somewhere else. He was the one that Tracey killed, right? And I miss James Thornton too. That man oozed sex appeal. How Moira let that slip from her hands.... And thanks for the Brookside history lesson. I've seen and read a little about the show and enjoyed it all thus far. Especially the story where the mother and daughter bury the father in the backyard. That had to be epic at that time.

Thanks for sharing that, Carl! I didn't know that the actress that plays Emma was in the legendary Brookside pairing. I've heard a bit about Debbie & Damon. I didn't know that they were huge. I'm sure some girls were suicidal after he was killed. Did Debbie return to Brookside afterwards? Back to Emmerdale, I didn't know that Danny & Marc didn't get along? That could explain why the pairing was decent but never as great as it could've been. Their energy always did read a little bit off. Like they never pushed further in their performances. Guess that affected a lot of the writing too. But I hope Robert is not attached to Aaron long term. But hell, I don't even see Danny Miller staying long anyways. He's always given me the impression that he has higher aspiration than being a soap, which is fine. With Ryan, I can see him staying for awhile and only taking a stab at Hollywood or other projects because people around will push him to do so. I personally think he has the 'it factor' to make it.

I get this feeling that Emma is Emmerdale's latest answer to previously popular Natasha Wylde. Hell, the whole family is a carbon copy of the Wyldes. At least a poor man's version. James = Mark Finn = Will Pete = Maisie Ross = Nathan Moira = Faye Adam = Ryan RE: (Spoiler): I am glad to hear that. I just hate that Robert was tied to boring, whiny ass Aaron. I'd rather if Finn was in this instead. Or some new gay character. I used to love Aaron but he irked my nerves towards the end of his original run. Only time I really enjoyed him was during the Jackson/Aaron era, which even then, he annoyed me.

In a weird way, Cass was Felicia's long-term relationship. I'm just glad that writers never tried to make them more than what they were in later years. By today's soap standard, Cass and Felicia would've fallen in love by now after years of being friends. But out the men you listed, Lucas (IMO) was Felicia's true endgame. I just hate that they killed him, but his death did go on to serve as a catalyst for AW's last great story--Felicia's alcoholism.

This! I'd rather Robert follow in Carl's footsteps instead. At least we'd keep him for some years and he'd feel somewhat remorseful for the crimes he committed. And we already somewhat have someone following in Cameron's footsteps--Emma. I get this impression that she's two steps away from offing someone or at least trying before she meets her demise.- One Life to Live Tribute Thread

I hope he does not kill anyone else. With Katie's death, it could be accidental but he'd still do some time. I just wanted the character to have some longevity--to come back as the scheming lothario he was before. After this, I am not so sure....- Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
I totally agree with you. I just have this feeling that Robert is going to get the short end of the stick. I don't see him getting off so easily in this regime. That's why I wish Katie's death was an accident. But if this is the route they are going, I hope this has long term affects on the show. I hope it is not some stunt that resulted in the audience losing two long term favorites for nothing.- The View
Whoopi should've been released last season too. They should've just ended it with Barbara. Only person that has been on consistently this entire season has been Nicole, and while she's grew into her own, it's not enough for me to watch. I miss Joy. I miss the women talking about politics. I miss the shrieking at one another. I miss the reads and shade tossed at each other. This show is such a bore.- Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
I broke down and watched the new episode, and they did have a lot of scenes of him being guilt-ridden. I wish I could believe this meant they won't go full panto psycho with him, but it's difficult to believe they will be able to resist the easy temptation. I hope if Hawley wants to stay, they will find a way to redeem Robert, because he's done such a tremendous job in the role. Even in that interview he was so polite and wonderful, in spite of that idiot woman who didn't bother to do one bit of basic research. The whole thing just frustrates me so much. If they don't give Robert the many, many chances Andy and Cain were given, it's just a huge joke. I do feel sorry for Andy sometimes (I thought Kelvin did a good job today) but most characters would have been long gone after what he did to Jo. Meh @ the spoiler. I figured. Let the witch hunt begin.... And I don't see them redeeming Robert. I just feel it in my bones. I hope I am proven wrong but I just don't see it. I feel like this was EM's answer to EE's Lucy whodunnit and Robert is expendable to them. It'll generate buzz and shock factor because he's Jack Sugden's son, but once that is over, he'll be crucified and suffer the same fate as Cameron. Or Declan. He's their psycho of the moment. I just wish that Katie would've died at her own hands. Like in an accident or something. Or hell, have Chrissie kill her after her admission with Chrissie wanting to silence her to spare her dignity within the village. Something.- All My Children Tribute Thread

Time to nip The View in the bud. Put the final nail in the casket. Call it quits. They've overstayed their welcome.- Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
Ryan Hawley is a gorgeous and a true find but it's obvious the show isn't invested in Robert long term. I see this being drawn out for another year. And dear God, we gotta listen to Aaron whine about it for the whole time. Wonder how long it'll take before all the Dingles get involved too.... - Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
