  1. I don't think it would've been a stretch as the audience would've been happy just to have Hope back. But weren't there rumor circling around that they were possibly trying to woo Julia Barr to GL as Hope possibly in the final years? I would've been all for that.
  2. Yaass, Kenya! My bew got her a man from Princeton. Meanwhile, Phaedra has criminal, Porsha is a wanton woman, and Nene is in a business arraignment. Oh let me stop before NeNe fans try & come for my head.
  3. SN: This episode aired on my 1st b-day!!!
  4. 1. M2M isn't canceled. They just got renewed for s3 at the end of January and will be back later on this year. I picture them being back around late March, early April. Some time after Thicker than Water ends. I think it was just simply a crossover because most of the women on M2M and RHOA know each other. 2. I don't think that Apollo was going to kill them all. Not his children at least. I wouldn't put it past him to do harm to Phaedra, but she put herself in that situation by getting involved with a criminal for the start. TBH, if anyone is a killer, I'd picture Phaedra before Apollo. Apollo is a simp. Phaedra, on the other hand, has sociopathic tendencies.
  5. That's always stunned me too. After her AMC stint ended in the early '00s, I am surprised that GL didn't try and snag her to reprise the role. Especially when Justin Deas, one the actors that Mattison had stellar chemistry and comedic timing with, was starting to flounder at this time. But then again, I am glad. Some writer would've tried to slap Buzz with Hope and take her out the Bauer and Spaulding orbits altogether. Yep. But I would've revived her. Unlike most, Carmen didn't bother me b/c she played her role; she was a villain. She was not glorified like other mobsters. My only gripe with her was her obsession go get rid of Michelle but I somewhat understood it.
  6. Continued: Grady would come up alive and Leah would discover him. Grady wants vengeance on Phillip, much like Leah, who still blames him for causing the split in Mel and Rick's marriage. Grady would poison Phillip at a gala, nearly killing, which Leah would have a hand in [she helps Grady sneak into the masquerade but didn't know he'd poison Phillip]. Cyrus would try and help his brother escape only for him to be killed in the process. Grady would go on the run. Mel would learn she's carrying Cyrus', which Rick offers to help raise much to the chagrin of Mindy. Leah would be brought up on charges on aiding a criminal and conspiring to murder Phillip, which again she had no idea. Phillip would plead for the charges to be dropped on Rick's behalf, but Jeffery [the DA] wants to pursue it. Phillip, however, threatens to not sponsor Jeffery's campaign, causing him to just place Leah on probation. At this time, Jason Marler would return to town hellbent on getting revenge on Phillip & Rick, who we all know had a hand in Ross' accident. Very much like his grandfather, Roger, Jason is dastardly. Jason preys on Leah to stick it to Rick while working as in intern in Spaulding, slowly causing demise within the company at Alan's direction. Rusty would have a long lost daughter, Trista, come to town and she'd be paired with Rocky but attracted to James, her cousin Daisy's man. Trista grew up in Georgia, dirt poor and wants the good life. Rocky is her heart but James is stability. Also, Rocky has a hard time adjust to Buzz and Lillian's marriage. Especially since Beth was a reason why Coop lost his life. Father and son would feud also over Buzz's lack of fathering, putting the Coopers at odds. Trista tries and smooth things over and nearly does when James drops a bomb--he slept with Trista, causing chaos amongst everyone. Meanwhile, Rocky's best friend, Kevin Marler, crushes on Daisy. He also has a secret of his own. He wants to be a doctor but Blake wants him to follow in Ross' footsteps. Kevin also looks up to and bonds with Rick. This unnerves Blake as she still holds Rick accountable for helping Phillip escape and that Kevin was once believe to be Rick's child. Blake does everything she can to mold Kevin into the image of his father, not the man that had a hand in his death [Rick]. A childhood friend of Lizzie's, Tierra, would come to town and become the new, hot reporter [a la Gilly Grant, one of my faves]. She falls for Remy, who is now single again, while helping her old friend, Reggie, bring down Alan. Frank would crush on Cassie but has an obstacle in a much alive Edmund. Frank would later help Cassie find her father, which ticks Hawk off. Cassie's dad and Hawk would compete for Alex's affection, but Cassie's dad is a natural born con artist. He tries to scam money from Cassie and Alex but not before Hawk stops him. Edmund also has his hands full as he's involved with the Diamondhead Organization. Harley returns from Europe and her beau, John Hu, is involved with Diamondhead too. It's later revealed he caused the plane crash that killed Mike, Meta, Trudy, and injured Hope. He is also in cahoots with Carmen, who used to be an old lover. Edmund, John, and Carmen plan on turning Springfield into the hottest spot for illegal crimes. Alex is grief stricken when she learns Nick is missing [sN: He was in Europe helping Mike with bringing down Diamondhead]. Alan, wanting to drive Alex over the edge to regain Spaulding, fakes phone calls with Nick's voice. Beth suspects something is up and Alan is involved but joins Alex abroad to find Nick. Alex finds Nick and nurses him back to health with Beth's help. Beth becomes enamored with Nick as he looks like her lost love, Lujack. But things get more complex when Nick returns and Mindy's old feelings return. Beth and Mindy's old rivalry reignites. Rick and Phillip are not pleased with Nick's return, both fearing their wives might want Nick....
  7. Well I would've wanted for Reva and Olivia's rivalry to reignite. How so? Marah. Marah, who was vacating with some friends in Switzerland [sam Spencer included], would've been involved in an accident--an avalanche. Sam would be killed trying to save Marah, and Olivia would be devastated and blame Marah for her brother's death. Hell, she blames Josh and Reva for trying to cover up for Marah too. It also does not help that Olivia is still co-running The Beacon with Cassie and allowing Lewis Construction [with Josh and Dylan] to redesign and add a new wing to the hotel. Marah, meanwhile, becomes depressed over Sam's death. She truly does feel guilty about his demise, so much that she secludes herself to her room. It isn't until Reva suggests to Cassie that Marah redesign The Beacon to get her mind over the tragedy that Marah decides to live her life and get back to work. But not if it's up to Liv! Olivia would want to make Marah's life hell and does so by blocking Cassie from hiring Marah, now a designer, from redesigning the Beacon Hotel. Olivia would eventually bend only to torture and guilt Marah at every turn. This would create tension between Cassie, who now wants to buy Olivia out altogether as she's becoming too toxic. Natalia and Olivia would begin to drift apart over Olivia's obsession for revenge. In the meantime, Josh, who is working on the hotel's construction, starts to receive notes with just a diamond on them. It isn't until Josh and Dylan find a diamondback rattlesnake in their trailer that he realizes it's the Diamondhead Organization, who was after him in the 80s. Josh becomes fearful of his family's security and opts to leave town but Reva is totally against it. They'll fight this battle together. But Jeffery, now back in Springfield, is not about to have his son put in danger. Reva assures Jeffery that nothing else will occur, and he leaves Reva with a grave threat--he'll file for sole custody if something else occurs. But of course something else occurs. An agent of Diamondhead plants a bomb in Olivia's office [upon hearing she was having a meeting with Josh over the designs]. As Olivia heads up the stairs to her office, the bomb goes off, and Olivia is sent tumbling down the stairs. No one is gravely harmed but Olivia does become paralyzed from the waist down. Having had enough, Jeffery pursues for custody but will drop the suit on one condition: Reva must move out of Josh's house and in with him. Josh pushes Reva to move in with Jeffery until he fixes the situation. But Josh has his hands full in another situation--Olivia. Josh feels guilty about inadvertently causing Olivia to be paralyzed that he asks her to move in with him to care for her until the Beacon is repaired. Natalia refuses to move in with Josh knowing it'll only create drama. With the rift being so big between Olivia and Natalia, Natalia leaves Springfield. Pissed that she has lost Natalia, Olivia turns her attention on Josh. She's going to punish all the Lewises. Marah for causing Sam's death. Josh for causing her to be paralyzed. And Reva for just being Reva. She plots to stick her claws back into Josh, which Shayne, Marah, and Reva quickly pick up on. Olivia becomes a pain while living with Josh, Shayne, and Marah. They wait on her every call and it becomes too much. For Marah the most. So much that one day she even demands that Marah wipe her a** after using the restroom, and Marah shoves her down the stairs, wheelchair and all. Marah moves out and finds board at the Reardon boarding house with J and Tom. Tom and Marah hit it off and begin a budding friendship that becomes more when Marah becomes a target Diamondhead. Marah would be kidnapped. Tom, Josh, Rusty, and Dylan would venture to Venezuela to save her, killing the head of the organization. Tom would be gravely injured, Marah would become distraught that she's losing someone else she loves. Tom eventually heals and he and Marah begin their new romance, but it is short-lived when Alan discovers that J snitched to Lizzie about Alan hiring them as spies in Spaulding. Other stories: Holly reclaims her producer position at WSPR. She hires Blake and Dinah as co-anchors on the news, sparking a feud between the two. Things get more complex when Holly hires a hot male co-anchor named Reginald. Dinah and Reggie join forces to get rid of Blake, who they both hate. Meanwhile, Dinah becomes a breakout star and gets mysterious notes from a crazed fan. He also starts to kill women that resemble Dinah. Mallet and Dinah would later figure out it was Holly's intern behind. Reginald becomes obsessed with bringing down Alan and continuously does scandalous exposes on him. Blake digs into Reginald's past and learns his mother is Rita and Alan is his father. Wanting her hands on his potential fortune and knowing he came to Springfield to screw over Alan, Blake would blackmail him into eloping. This would be a comedic story. Michelle would be driven to the bottle [as aforementioned] and it does not help that Danny is running for the DA's office against Jeffery. Her drinking spirals out of control and she lands into bed with Bill. Jeffery would use this to try and get Michelle to persuade Danny to drop out but to no avail. Once Danny won the election, Jeffery would splatter photos of Michelle and Bill in bed all over the tabloid, thus causing grief in the Santos home. Ed & Holly would reunite but with Rita's return, Holly fears that Ed might want to rekindle things. Especially when Ed [at one point] suspects that Reginald is his son. Holly and Hope would bond over their hatred of Rita--both women wanting her gone.
  8. THOTsha should be grateful that Claudia attended; otherwise, that would've been one less segment she's on. Hell, her own friends didn't wanna attend her event. She should be glad that Claudia gave her the time of day. Especially since this was around the time that her peach was snatched. #IrrelevantBew
  9. Are you trying to cause Middle America to have strokes and heart attacks?
  10. I would love to see that Charity/Zoe drama as anything with the Tates is fabulous IMO. Anything with Debbie....
  11. It was! I'm just pissed that the show was canceled too soon because there was still so much life in it. With Quint and Nola, I always wanted them to return home and either reopen the boarding house or move back to Thornway Road. Quint would be brought back to town by the Spaulding to help survey a piece of land which they wanna gentrify and urbanize. This piece is of land is one that the Lewises want to acquire too, thus putting the two at odds and Bill in the middle. I wanted J to come home first after Alan acquired his and his cousin's, Tom [Tony/Annabelle son], services as security for Lizzie, who was currently running Spaulding alongside Alex, Bill, and Phillip. Alan would create a false sense of danger for Lizzie, who fears her life was in danger from the controversial business deal. Alan hates the idea as he has had his own men investigate the land and realizes it is toxic and would cost Spaulding too much [potentially bankrupt the company] to clean up the landmass. Alan would also use J and Tom as spies, getting info from them on the ongoings on at Spaulding. However, J would fall for Lizzie, who also happens to be his cousin's [bill] wife. Lizzie and J would have an affair b/c Lizzie was growing insecure with Bill and Michelle's history and recent closeness [bill would be secretly helping Michelle get over her alcoholism, a Bauer curse, which she falls victim of when she learns that Meta, Trudy, Mike, and Hope were killed in a deliberate plane accident, which was caused by a criminal who Mike had put away.] Lizzie would be conflicted about her feelings for J and fight them off for the longest. It doesn't also help that Vanessa and Dinah, who know about the affair, scold her for her acts. But Lizzie would find an ally in Nola, who actually thinks she's a suitable mate for her son. Hell, she knows what it is like to be the third wheel thanks to the Kelly/Morgan situation. In this instance, Nola is all about making sure he son emerges victorious unlike she did in the past. This will also put Vanessa and Nola at odds for a period, with both Billy and Quint trying to figure out the tension between the two. Overall, the affair would come out after Bill overhears Lizzie admits she loves J. Bill would turn dark for a period and bust up Michelle and Danny's marriage. He'd also cut off Dinah and Vanessa for hiding the truth. Quint and Billy would be mad at Vanessa and Nola for hiding the affair and both trying to push their agendas. Lizzie would move on with J but find Bill as an obstacle both personally and professionally as he's given tips on the Spaulding's pending acquisition [of the land] to Billy and Josh. It would just be a mess. I wanted Hope to come back and be revealed much alive from the plane crash; however, she'd be under an alias and have a new face b/c she had to have reconstructive surgery from the crash. She'd also work as the Spaulding maid named Caroline to try and fix relations between Alan and Alan Michael. AM [along with Holly] would find out about Caroline being Hope first, and AM would be pissed his mom hid her identity for awhile. Alan will eventually learn the truth and hurt, he'd fall into bed with Rita, who is back in town, which unnerves Hope and nearly causes her to turn back to the bottle. I just have so many stories I'd love tell that I'll never get to share.
  12. RHOA: Kenya's scene with Roger Bobb was funny. I laughed hysterically at the loose interpretation of the women she despised. She's is so shady as hell, but I am glad that she decided to change the concept of her show altogether. No need in giving your foes any kind of shine. Pay them hoes in dust. Kandi and her excessive crying annoys me. For her to be such a millionaire, why did she do a thorough background check on her promoter? Ain't no way he would've robbed me of my coins. Plus, I think she needs to fire Don Juan. His ass is getting too comfortable with his insults, and it took everything for Todd not to address him. Kandi needs to pull aside and remind him who signs his check. But if it was me, he'd be out the door. Nene and Porsha's scene was hypocritical and stupid. Everything about them always goes back to material goods. And the things they were bringing up about Claudia were things they suffered from too not too long ago. Not having a house. Um Porsha, didn't Kordell toss your ass out and change the locks? And Nene, did you get tossed out your first house when it came out that Greg was involved in insurance scams? Then cars and bags. Porsha, didn't Kordell get your car back in the divorce? And Nene, wasn't your car repossessed at Home Depot back in s1? Finally, having a husband. Nene, didn't you and Greg break up? Didn't he embarrass your ass on national radio along with exposing you. And Porsha, Kordell divorced your ass via Twitter. It gets no more embarrassing. Furthermore, Claudia has said numerous times that she has been married. But why do these women act like marriage is something to be accomplished? Not everyone wants to be married or is made for marriage. These two should know as their marriages sh*t on the entire institution of marriage. Business arrangements at best.... The exchange between Porsha and Claudia was so strange. I do think that Claudia has to learn to let things go. But this is first season, so this is expected. And Porsha made me burst into laughter when she said that Claudia wouldn't allow her to finish her sentence. Porter needs to first of all learn how to form an entire sentence or thought period before anyone can interrupt her. But it was clear in that scene that both women were looking for a fight; however, Claudia was classy enough to let it go. Phraudra and her mother.... I don't believe anything these two say. They play up to the cameras too much for and both are inauthentic. I don't think that Apollo would ever hurt his children. He may do other things but I don't see that man hurting his children. You can see that he loves his kids [especially Ayden] with all of his heart. Phrogdra really needs to stop using this platform to bash her kids' father. Does she not realize they will eventually see this and feel some way about it? She needs to get a grip.... I cannot wait for next week when Apollo whips out the receipts! I was gagging at the previews! And Apollo knew what he was doing by handing the info over to the messiest of them all, Peter. It's about to get juicy and I cannot wait! ETA: Sneak peek of Cynthia/Peter discussing "Mr. Chocolate." http://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-atlanta/season-7/episode-714/videos?clip=2845277
  13. How did the general audience receive Charity and Debbi's gay romances? Were they well received? Because remember, EE did an insta-gay story with Sonia, which fans loathed. And thanks for the YT pages. I'll subscribe to them so I'll get to see their future uploads. And I am shocked but not so shocked that Hawley struggled for years. That's how it usually is in the industry. The mediocre actors go on to achieve 'greatness' while the true greats are overshadowed. Regardless his choices, I hope he goes on to have a successful career going forward.
  14. Quint & Nola!!!! Oh how I miss Guiding Light. How I seethe at the fact that these two characters weren't brought back in later years along with their kids. My dream job was to be head writer of GL & ATWT, and I would've had so many stories to tell with these two.
  15. LMAO! I know a lot of people hated the Michael and Stacey pairing because Michael became so cruel to Donna. From watching their story during the SoapNet run, I somewhat understood why he was such a prick. I mean she did sleep with Jake, one of his least favorite people. Now I didn't care for Amanda chewing into Iris and I always felt Amanda was too harsh towards her. I know Iris did heinous things towards her but Amanda was not saint. Especially when she was boinking Evan. I always felt she should've thanked Iris because Evan was Amanda's best pairing beside Cameron. I never cared for Sam and Amanda. Their romance is the early depiction of what is wrong with daytime now--young couples rushed into a romance then marriage and kids. Neither character got the chance to find themselves. They were just slapped together so quickly.
  16. I don't think that Iris deserved some of the heat she got in her final years, but Iris did do some mess that did deserve of the reaction she got.
  17. I didn't know that Ryan Hawley was married. I'm sure the relocation on the daily can be draining even though it is easier to travel over there with the various types of public transportation. Oh and I am shocked that Danny is willing to stay as long as the show will keep him. Again, I don't see him staying long term unless he has to. I knew I recognized Bill Ward from somewhere else. He was the one that Tracey killed, right? And I miss James Thornton too. That man oozed sex appeal. How Moira let that slip from her hands.... And thanks for the Brookside history lesson. I've seen and read a little about the show and enjoyed it all thus far. Especially the story where the mother and daughter bury the father in the backyard. That had to be epic at that time.
  18. I never understood how Iris and Lucas were involved. He never seemed like the type of man that Iris would get involved with.
