EastEnders: Discussion Thread
Even Ben said in one of those interviews about being shirtless most of the time. Exactly. How can you show range when you aren't given range in the writing? While romance with Lola could've so much more but DTC never invested in either character (Lola/Peter) and we see where they are now ... off the canvas.

I am still cracking up over your signature of Ceejai whooping Jenna's ass on Real World. But do you see how raisin faced Misse and Dawn are coming for our girl, Ampika?!

EastEnders: Discussion Thread
^ I strongly disagree. We'll never know the range Ben Hardy could've given on EE b/c they never allowed him to show it. DTC never had any long story for Peter. Most of the time he was back, he was in the background or walking around shirtless. They never utilized him like they should've. Sucks because Lucy AND Ben have been destroyed and tossed aside when they should be the young adults driving story and leading the pack for the next generation. Glad that Ben Hardy is finding success in Hollywood. I hope it continues. I hope that Hetti Bywater gets out there and finds success too.

EastEnders: Discussion Thread
I took a bit of sabbatical the past few days from all things online, and I am glad I did. Thanks for the recap, @DRW50 b/c I will not even bother going back to watch those episodes. From the sound of things, I might need to give up EE for the time being. I am NOT here for Lauren and Steven screwing.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RHOCheshire: OK. I am gonna keep it short and sweet. I am OVER Misse, Dawn, and now Tanya. Those three, haggardly b*tches can exit stage left. Seriously. I don't even see how Tanya got mad at Ampika over some mess that didn't involve her. If she didn't wanna hear Ampika talk about Dawn, she could've nicely told her to change the subject. I get she is preggers and her hormones are all about but seriously. Get a grip. Leanne has officially hop off Dawn's, and Tanya has resumed her spot as the new lapdog. Sad and pathetic seeing how far Tanya has fallen from season one. Misse ... fire this b*tch. She has reached Trampra, Wigz-n-Cigz, Dirty Tampon Glanville, YoLyme, K*ntrika, Phelony Parks, & Princess Thotlandia levels of dislike. This trollop is just horrible. She went to that damn party to fight. I am glad that Ampika told her to step off.

Why get rid of Kathryn? Plus, I agree with @DaytimeFan that Erika will destruct this season as she has no one to report too. Rinna will destruct again too; however, without Eileen being on full-time, Rinna is gonna cower to LVP b/c it'll be open season for her.

Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
He said himself that the ball is in ED's court and that he'd love to stay as long as they'd have him. They'd be crazy to get rid of him seeing as the Barton brothers chemistry is one of the bright spots on the show.

As The World Turns Discussion Thread
I think Ryder was the only child of Don/Mary to appear on ATWT as an adult. I think after he was written off, they practically ignored Nancy's other 2 kids (Don & Penny), and their offspring with the exception of them bringing Penny back for Christmas in '00. I still get pissed at how this show was not over-populated with a newer generation of Hughes in its last years. They should've been alongside Casey and Chris driving story.

Hollyoaks: Discussion Thread
I saw another interview he did where he claimed that his character and Ste wouldn't hookup and I don't believe it. This is HO. His character will be screwing Ste's ugly ass in no time flat.

EastEnders: Discussion Thread
Ugh. Really? I hope Lauren and Steven aren't together. What I do hope they remember is that Steven and Stacey were close. I hope they utilize this as Stacey hopes to clear Max's name. I hope Steven plays a part in this while nailing Jane and Ian in the process.

EastEnders: Discussion Thread
Jesus Christ! Can Sharon give Phil f-cking space?! I'm finding her so pathetic. I pray that Sean O'Connor restores Sharon to what she used to be. I truly don't care about Jane. Plus, I don't understand why people pity Ian either. Glad Steven is back as I hope he raises pure h*ll and calls Ian and Jane out on their sh-t. The Linda/Linda scene was stupid. Yet another scene of them trying to force something that isn't. I also don't ever remember Linda and Jane being bosom buddies. They should've seriously left Gavin dead. I find the character to be dreadful and uber campy. If he takes Denny with him then oh well. He's been irking my nerves as of late too.

The View
Thank GOD if true! Candace bored me to tears, Michelle was painfully NOT funny, and Raven was a disgrace. Raven and Michelle were a disgrace for co-host, who were supposed to represent people under 35. Their minds stayed wrapped up in pop culture and didn't know sh-t about politics or even tried. Especially, Raven. I do hope that they would add Jedediah Bila to the panel as the 6th co-host. Though I totally don't agree with her political stance at all, she served well as the Conservative on the panel. She will be needed at the start of the next season. I hope this show goes back to what it did best ... focus on politics! Leave the pop culture and vapid talk to The Talk & The Real.

Coronation Street: Discussion Thread
OK. Just watched and @DRW50, this exit was meh. I agree that Maria should've had a role in Carla's exit given their history. It would've been nice to see Leanne and Ken inserted in there too. I don't expect a parade for Carla when she exited but damn. It could've been more. I still don't care about this Callum story as it wasn't murder. It was self-defense. All of this over nothing.... Funny how in the end, Tracey did lose to Carla inadvertently. Rob wants nothing to do with her, and now Michelle (Carla's BFF) has Amy.

Coronation Street: Discussion Thread
A lot of people share the same sentiments when it comes to Gail. Everyone enjoyed seeing old school Gail, who wasn't the comical dolt she's become now. I miss uptight, high-strung Gail. Gail being comedic doesn't do anything for me. I am OK with Sally being comedic b/c her pairing with Tim is everything. Gail, on the other hand, I don't buy it, and I didn't like her always sniffing after Michael's whiny ass.

Guiding Light Discussion Thread
I wonder if you picked her mind if she'd still feel this was a great choice. Again, I feel like Bill/Michelle/Ben were set up perfectly to be the new leads of the next generation of Guiding Light and they squandered it. I would've love to have seen Bill, Ben, and even Danny vie for Michelle affections than the material that was given for all of them in the last stretch of the show. Especially, Michelle. I hated ALL of Michelle's stories when NSA took over the role. She just became miserable and whiny. Given that MZ eventually died, it would've been nice for Roger & Holly to have ended on a good note for me. My perfect ending would've been for MADD to have allowed MZ to continue on the show and we saw Roger get diagnosed with Lou Gehrig like MZ had. It would've humanized Roger and I would've loved to have seen Holly be the one to be by his side as the once powerful Roger health's deteriorate. It would've been great to have seen Hart and Blake play pivotal roles in this too. Also, to have Ed, who could've been brought back at this time, be conflicted. Originally, not wanting to help Roger but finally putting to bed old demons with his enemy. It would've been more powerful to see Roger be taken down by an ailment than recast him and then later usher him offscreen. It frustrates me how they didn't use MZ's illness a story when he was all for it.
