  1. I prefer Kenya by a country mile to Gizelle. She is bitter and very conceited.
  2. Exactly! Not one of those women has survived a sexual assault, raised a family, and stayed in a happy marriage for 20+ years, except Karen. Every last one of those women should be taking notes and asking for tips. Let's catalogue the rest of these women's failings since they seem to delight in ripping Karen: Robyn: living with her lying, cheating, ex-husband who lost all their money, while she's still in love with him and he can't be bothered with her. Charrisse: seemingly permanently buzzed on champagne, crooked weave, and desperate. Living off her soon to be ex-husband's money that she's blowing on stupid crap when she should be paying a good divorce lawyer since she'll never land a wealthy man again. Ashley: naive, in a marriage with a dinosaur more interested in her sex acts than her ability to run a business, zero control over finances. Gizelle: living off her cheating ex-husband while pretending that she could have any man in the room when the fact of the matter is she's an ageing wannabe video vixen with poor diction and a jealous streak as wide as the Grand Canyon. Monique: living off her husband, mother in law hates her, no aspirations of her own. Yeah, a bunch of success stories right there. And if that isn't an accurate depiction then these Potomac ladies better get really self aware because that's how they all come across. How dare they think they're any better than Karen. If she's in bad financial shape they should be sympathetic, not spiteful.
  3. Karen has no friends in this cast. They all want to see her suffer and fail. Gizelle says she's licensed to say what the streets are saying? Well I guess that makes her a streetwalker. Charrisse's champagne room...whatever she spent on it is money flushed right down the toilet. That particular renovation adds nothing for resale. Charrisse is all hat and no cattle. Robyn is just sad. That therapy session highlighted that she is not interested in changing her life at all. Ashley's marriage still seems doomed.
  4. There is some major traction alopecia happening to both of those women. Charrisse trying to claim that she isn't as deluded as Karen is laughable. She installed a champagne room in her home.
  5. Dr. Patricia Wexler. 145 East 32nd Street, New York, New York. Jill's name checked her.
  6. Of course she is, she needs the money!
  7. Karen destroyed Charisse with that tidbit of intel. Decimated her. And with all that salty language. I love Karen this season. I can't wait for Charisse's money to run out. She is being awful about Karen's financial situation, whatever it might be, and her pompousness about her money (ie Eddie Jordan's money) is going to come and bite her in the ass, big time.
  8. Suzy. That's the boring one you're thinking of. One of the new ones...Venus...claims to be 35. Really? If so, she's the oldest looking 35 I've ever seen.
  9. Welcome back!
  10. EPIC I am so ready for this! Bring on OC!
  11. @Cheap21 @Nothin'ButAttitude Thank you for enduring Sydney so that we could all concur what an ugly, disgusting franchise it is. They need to fire 75% of the cast and start over. It was awful. The Cheshire 'inside their homes' special was decent, though a real reunion would have been appreciated given the explosiveness of the season. Potomac has been so good this season - which is all down to Karen being hilarious, a peace maker and totally real (except for this house thing, is Karen broke?).
  12. I loved the finale too. Another great season for Cheshire. Leanne slapping Dawn's finger out of her face was a subtle moment of pure fury. Leanne was standing up for herself and to hell with Dawn's pride. That was great. I agree that Ester needs to go. Her story was bizarre and the way she flipped out at Stacey and Seema...good lord. What a guttersnipe. Ampika owned her ass. Lauren always makes me laugh. She is so blatantly rude and hilarious. Tanya's store is the dumbest idea I've seen in a RH franchise. Dawn is the show's prime villainess - she needs to just own it.
  13. The last two weeks of Potomac have been good. Robyn is so dumb. What's going on with her and Juan is just pathetic. And let's not even touch her "nationality"... Gizelle is a hater. It's going to make her very ugly. This is a great season for Karen. She has come off incredibly well. Ashley's marriage is doomed. The Real Housewives of Melbourne wouldn't be caught dead eating at Oz.
  14. The women, aside from Dorinda and to a lesser extent Sonja, want to show their moral superiority to Luann. They think they are better people because they don't conduct their lives the same way Luann does. And that's total crap. If Luann and Tom have an arrangement that works for them what business is it of anyone else's? They are grown adults, no children are involved and everyone has their eyes open. In fact, Tom seems to really like Luann. Bethenny and Ramona are terribly scarred from their divorces and they're projecting their insecurities onto Luann's relationship. Carole is just a bitch. Tinsley doesn't care or have any skin in that game. Sonja is delusional about Tom but also seems pretty live and let live. I think she knows Luann has an arrangement, doesn't judge it, but also had concerns about how it works in practice. I can understand hat. Dorinda is loyal.
  15. Great post. And that's the moment I'm seriously looking forward to. Leanne has found her voice and her slapping down Dawn's pointed finger is going to be amazing. I loved how Lauren copped to everything and Dawn had no ammunition. It really does seem that everyone is closing in on her.
  16. Is it? Well then, they actually have done nothing original in this pilot.
  17. NYC An episode laying some groundwork it seems. Say what we may about Ramona but Avery turned out to be such a smart, decent human being that Ramona had to have done something right. It's interesting to see Ramona listen and take (good) advice from her daughter. The rehabilitation of Bethenny continues. And they're doing a good job. I love Dress For Success. Such an admirable charity and in line with Bethenny's whole vibe. Sonja is a hilarious wing woman. She can definitely keep her eyes on the prize better than Tinsley. It was interesting to see how badly Tinsley wanted that 23 year old. And she got him. Sonja needs to offload that townhouse. It is an albatross. She will be so much better off without it. I can't believe Carole. What a bitch talking about LuAnn and Tom with that "friend" of LuAnn's at Dorinda's auction. It's so mean at this point. She is simply being catty about LuAnn sticking things out with Tom. She isn't concerned. She just wants to laugh at her.
  18. That trailer and pilot scene were terrible. As others have said, all the production values of porn with the same acting talent. Rafael de La Fuente is the only actor on this show with any charisma. Writing Krystle as a gold digger is so wrong...terrible actress. So unlikeable. I do enjoy Fallon biting the head off the cake topper (I've never seen that done, surprised daytime hasn't done that one)...but overall none of these characters can be rooted for. Dame Joan should only touch this thing if they offer her a fortune. But I suspect they won't be contacting her. The CW's president made a statement about "if schedules and story work out" then they'd look at having some original actors on. About as non-committal as it gets. If she does appear I hope she insists on a fortune. Dame Joan should stick to The Royals - now that is a character worthy of her.
  19. There is not going to be a Toronto reunion because (according to Kara) the women refused to share a couch with her. I would say while I agree with your critical assessment of Roxy, who I couldn't be friends with IRL because she's such a bigmouth, I definitely preferred her to Kara who showed some really ugly angles to her personality. The kind of ugliness that's intrinsic to a person and can't be undone. Ann and Joan are absolutely model Housewives. Ann is fabulous and your comparison to LVP is spot on. Joan is a very classy woman. I thought it was moving at the end of the show when the individual freeze frames noted it was Ann who arranged for Jana to be flown back and hospitalized in Toronto. I enjoyed Grego and Jana. They're the B story Housewives but both had a purpose. I especially enjoyed Jana saying "We don't give a sh*t!" when Kara banged on about her Italian dinner party and Grego's family life was cute. Toronto was a really well done franchise. I so appreciated how light it could be - like Season 1 Vancouver and much of Melbourne. If you can be bothered to endure Sydney I look forward to your thoughts. They were the nastiest cast I've ever seen. Not one of them was truly likeable.
  20. Agreed about Ann. She is my favourite too. Joan is also my second favourite. Both of these women are so calm, collected, and sensible. And fun! The other blond is Jana - the yoga teacher. I think she and Grego definitely had a more supporting role for Joan, but you will see more from both of them as the season progresses. Roxy and Kara...sigh. My opinions on both waxed and waned as the season went on. Stay tuned. Toronto was filmed to its absolute best, just as Vancouver was. Lisa Rinna owns a cottage in Muskoka like several of the Housewives so a crossover would have been entertaining.
  21. RH of Toronto What a great franchise. Like the first season of Vancouver, the show's bitch got her comeuppance in the finale. Deeply satisfying. RH of Cheshire I KNEW something was going on with Ester. Ampika and Lauren remain hilarious. Dawn's insecurity is showing. RH of Sydney Thank goodness this season is over. What a horrible show filled with truly awful women. I'll never waste my time with this franchise again. Bring on Melbourne!
  22. The Conrad Hilton fiasco really gives one pause about how Kim always says Kathy is the "good sister"...well you don't see Kyle's kids in court or getting arrested. I dislike Kyle and all her crap, but she's definitely been loaded up with a serious burden with her family.
  23. I really hope Dame Joan is somehow involved in this. This is a reboot - why not make Alexis the mother of Blake?
  24. Phaedra got destroyed. If Bravo doesn't fire her they have zero integrity.
  25. @Antoyne HALLELUJAH! Pettifleur is the most insufferable bitch I've seen on a Housewives franchise. Auckland was explosive. That's Anne! Love Anne. Angela Stone was the craziest housewife I've ever seen. Delusion, thy name is Angela.
