  1. I echo what @Cat said - very nicely done getting these kinds of answers out of Corday. I'm sure he appreciated actual questions about the production model and the ability to produce the show within budget when so much of soap 'journalism' ignores the business aspect entirely.
  2. Yes, she has always sounded like that. And she is a retired stripper, so you're right on the money. I find Kathy to be quite enigmatic. Like beneath that surface of that mask like facelift she's wild like Kim, but in better control of herself.
  3. Great post but especially the bold. Although Dorit is probably a grifter of some sort, I do find her and PK likeable. After last season, when Dorit gave Denise a fair shake and didn't commit to the Coven, she went up in my book. Kyle...anyone else think she got new breasts and perhaps did something to her hips to emulate a Kardashian? Her nose wasn't the only thing that looked different to me... Rinna deserves every second of hell that she catches and I hope Garcelle doesn't let up on her. That smirk will never get old for me.
  4. Eboni's statement...it sounds so good. Get her Garcelle! "I don't disagree." - that is some elegant truth bombing right there. Rinna knows she looked terrible last season and while I think she's fully onboard with selling her soul and selling out her friendships for a buck and some extra minutes of fame I have to wonder if her QVC business, her real bread and butter, hasn't suffered...right now a quick perusal of her QVC line shows that everything is 50% discounted... That is such a hard one because Rinna and Eileen were so loyal to each other and had 30 years of history...but I can see the betrayal coming if Rinna felt it was necessary. "OWN IT, Eileen!" she'd bellow as Eileen would wipe away tears on the patio of her eclectically decorated Malibu home... I'm 100% on board with BH and I quietly resent myself for it.
  5. I really like Don - I first got to see him on the CNN NYE shows that Kathy Griffin and Anderson did, and Don was usually in New Orleans and more than once he got absolutely wasted on air with Brooke Baldwin and he was simply hilarious. And as his presence at CNN has grown, and as he fought back hard against the lies of the Trump years, I think his is an important voice. I'm betting he and Cuomo are either swapping time slots or his show is getting a name change?
  6. He sure does. His full Twitter bio is: "Chart Westcott. Co-Founder. Investor. Attorney. Anti-Neo Con Foreign Policy. Bro/Bruh. Cancel proof. I don’t respond to anonymous accounts." I'm very disappointed in Court. I thought he was much nicer and smarter than his dim wife. Unfortunately, they're all cut from the same cloth.
  7. The Variety story is juicy and this coverage is blowing up. Kameron is going to be cancelled. And deservedly so. It's absolutely appalling. The hospital needs donations so the Westcott money gives them obvious influence - but this cannot stand. The hospital needs to strip those buildings of the Westcott name. The sad thing is, that's the truth. Bravo was not going to stand up for what's right willingly. They had to be forced to do it. The only result of this is that either Dallas is cancelled entirely or Kameron is fired. If I were Bravo, I'd cancel the whole thing. The show was a flop and there are too many ugly, bigoted personalities on this show. Dr. Moon is wise to quit if that's what she's done. She has a real career and reputation to uphold and having to deal with the likes of the Westcott family is not worth it. She is above them. Yes, he's really named 'Chart'. He calls himself a "bro/bruh" in his Twitter profile...
  8. Absolutely right. Kameron could be funny, but I always found her dumb. Now we see the real her. What a great GIF choice. Sums it up perfectly. Porsha thinks she's bagged herself a prize. More like a hollow piñata.
  9. I'm not saying it isn't tacky, low class, and of low moral standard for Porsha to do what she's done. However, I appreciate the distinction between a finalized separation and a finalized divorce and being candid with respect to that. The problem is too few people will see that distinction, and so Porsha's attempt to get ahead of this story (surely it was about to break elsewhere) simply makes her look even more dishonest.
  10. I do see a distinction between a divorce being settled vs finalized. Porsha said in her statement that Simon's divorce has been settled. Page Six's article says that settlement agreement has been signed off. That means the property division has been agreed to and that the processing of the divorce through the Court system is now a formality as there will be no trial. Does that mean Simon is still married to Falynn? Yes.
  11. That's how I feel about it too - DAYS was my first soap and although I've long loved others along the way, namely AW and Y&R, and to a lesser extent AMC and B&B, I have a soft spot for DAYS and give it a leeway that I cannot give the others. As much as Corday is a problem, I also know he is a driving force for keeping the show on the air. I hope the production budget wasn't decimated further - the recent new sets have given me some hope.
  12. WOW! That is incredible news! So pleased for the cast and crew.
  13. ATL This Porsha scandal is epic. She is legit the Other Woman whose landed herself a huge diamond ring and perhaps a second bun in the oven. Good lord she has set the tabloid media ablaze! Falynn says she is "healing" after Porsha's bombshell: https://pagesix.com/2021/05/11/falynn-guobadia-says-shes-healing-after-porsha-and-simons-engagement/?_ga=2.30223423.1428030855.1620764753-795285337.1565713818 BH Erika and Tom's Pasadena mansion is being sold due to Tom's involuntary bankruptcy proceedings: https://nypost.com/2021/05/07/rhobh-star-erika-jaynes-mansion-listed-for-13m-in-bankruptcy-sale/
  14. Wow. That is a superb wax likeness. It does look just like her.
  15. She's even put up a clearly worded statement on Instagram...
  16. That's how I feel - sums it up completely for me. Production on ATL is a problem and as everyone has said, ATL flopped with Covid, while shows like NJ and Summer House thrived. Garcelle's tagline is superior to all of them. Perfect. Vyle is always harping on about her town...by which she must mean Encino because she lives deep in the Valley. Erika...No. You're not strong. You're complicit.
  17. I don't know how they knew each other, but Tawny and Jess Walton are/were longtime friends. She seemed an easygoing soul with a great sense of humour about herself. Condolences to her family, 59 is far too young to die. May her memory be a blessing.
  18. And they’ve all been hated for good reason. Not one of them has touched Y&R 1973 - 2005.
  19. Unless they're returning to film the series finale? This renewal has been handled so bizarrely I'm at a loss as to what NBC/Sony/Corday are thinking.
  20. NY Agree the energy is off and that 5 main cast members is too few. The flash forwards give me hope. I did enjoy Sonja a lot this episode: she was light and funny and friendly. Lu was giving me shades of delusional cabaret Lu...we'll see how this season unfolds. I thought Ebony fit in beautifully and I like her candor about her financial missteps in her youth. She is not a cast member whose in denial and living beyond her means - been there, done that. DALLAS I hate Kameron too. She is very dumb. What did she think she was going to accomplish with trying to accuse Tiffany of racism? What? The? Hell? It was a very bad look and I don't care to watch her. I have no sympathy for Kary. She's a nightmare and I wish her soon-to-be ex-husband Godspeed in getting that divorce finalized. I'm sure he's very relieved to have a marriage agreement in place. D'Aandra did a good job and was blinged out admirably. However, I do think this franchise sucks and should be cancelled.
  21. You're absolutely right and it has a lot to do with Bravo wanting to change the RH franchise to a younger demographic so they're propping the young cast members and trying to hype her up as if she had a big impact. It is so classically Brian Frons that for a fan of AMC, Andy Cohen should be ashamed of himself.
  22. Absolutely @kalbir and I don't want to suggest anything about Kimberlin Brown other than what she has publicly put out there. If Victoria Rowell praised her, then she has good reason to do so. And I would never diminish Kimberlin's talent. She is an incredible actress. My difficulty is like that of @FrenchBug82 above - at what point can we separate why a particular person supports a cause or movement, in Kimberlin's situation it seems that she loved Trump's economic policies, versus what that cause or movement stands for as a whole? At what point is cherry picking issues acceptable versus not? This is one of Kimberlin's posts and I think it shows where she is at these days:
  23. And the thing is she’s still a Trumper. Even after January.
  24. RHOD Danny Pellegrino was right. What a flop of a show. They should cancel this mess. The only person I like is Cameron's husband Court because he can laugh at how short he is compared to his wife. The rest of them? Heinous people. 1. Especially Kary. Good lord. Evil. Dark. Nasty. She has a real mean streak to her. I don't want to watch someone like that at all. 2. And Brandi? What trash. The red wig suited her though. A sort of Morgan Brittany vibe to her. The way those two desecrated Southfork should be a cardinal sin for anyone who loves soaps. Don't they realize but for the pop culture juggernaut of Dallas nobody would give a solitary f*ck about that city? 3. D'Andra is incredibly dull without her incredibly entertaining mother, Miss Dee Simmons. 4. Tiffany Moon...well...after reading all of TT's gossip...not sure about her. 5. Stephanie did nothing this season. At least Travis admitted to watching Dallas. The end credits for each of the cast demonstrated that this entire season was about nothing and nothing but manufactured nonsense happened with a bunch of dumb, unlikeable, shallow, vulgar people.
  25. Happy for LVP and really curious to see how they reboot it!
