  1. And it doesn't suit her at all. Nene hasn't had good wig game in years. I wonder what on earth she's thinking?
  2. The Housewives franchise has been bleeding viewers for years. There comes a moment for every single franchise where they get toxic and mean and dark and there's just not much coming back from it. OC I am liking this season a lot but I think whoever is casting this should be fired. Meghan is incredibly nasty and she's hardly done anything. I don't like her and I don't like watching her. She is not Tamra who, although we all loathe her, is compulsively watchable like a major train crash. It was interesting to see Tamra and Brooks because it's hard to tell which one of them is better at faking pleasantries. Brooks might not actually be faking it. Vicki seemed down for a great time and she's fun, hot mess that she can be. It's silly of her to hop back on the Tamra train, but they're both acutely aware of how we are all glued to our screens when they fight. I'm so glad they did a flashback to Vicki's epic "Tamra's miserable" monologue at the reunion. Shannon and David are sad to watch and seeing their kids was pitiful and unnerving. Their daughters giggled and awkwardly smiled through that cringe worthy forgiveness discussion. They should get divorced and call it a day. Their marriage is over. It might not be this year or even this decade but they will divorce. Shannon shouldn't kid herself that she forgives him. She's pissed and he wants out of the marriage. Not much Heather, looks like we'll endure tons of her next week. Most importantly in this episode...JEANA! Goodness gracious was it nice to see her again. She's looking fantastic and her patented disinterested banter is gold.
  3. Great little interview with John James when he attended the Friars Club Induction for Dame Joan. He describes the first time he met Dame Joan (she asked him how much money he was making!) and then describes how Dame Joan was a perfectionist on set. http://uinterview.com/news/john-james-meeting-joan-collins-dynasty-memories-exclusive-video/
  4. NYC "She doesn't give two sh*ts about me, that's what it comes down to." - Kristin. Bingo, dumbass. I can't wait to see Ramona rip into her for being so dumb. Carole is the snake that LuAnn says she is. The way she ferrets gossip around is so tacky. Carole's a grown woman but she acts like a 14 year old highschool girl who needs to spread everything around so nobody notices what a ho she is. Heather is grating as hell. The way she clenches that big 'ol jaw of hers when Bethenny shot her down was quite the sight to behold. Her poor husband launching in a tone deaf rendition of "Happy Birthday To You!" in a desperate attempt to cover the tension... Not much LuAnn and Sonja this episode, though I laughed when Bethenny said the comment about you know a dinner is wild when Sonja Morgan is the sanest person at the table. Ramona really needs to have a Waiting to Exhale moment and burn all of Mario's crap and move on big time with her life. Enough is enough! She deserves better and Mario is never going to be better. It's funny to see Avery so grown up. Dorinda is a scream. What a great addition. Overall, such a great season - can't wait for next week.
  5. OC - loved it! As always it's great to have the OC girls back. Oh, those taglines are so bad - except Vicki's...she is the OG of the OC indeed. Vicki is the story that I can keep following without any complaints...she is so blatantly herself, so totally incapable of Meghan is unlikeable. We really don't need to hear her say "Jim Edmonds" ever again. It's as if he's spoken of in the third person, what a douche, both of 'em. Shannon remains riveting to watch. Her horrible marriage and nervous energy captures the screen. The April Fool's Day story of the affair being exposed is right out of Y&R (back when it was good) or DAYS (when the headwriters aren't asleep at the wheel). It's a gripping story, and it's not that I feel sorry for her, because she's a terrible nag, but Heather is vulgar. Nouveau riche and tacky. It doesn't matter if she has a porte cochere to park under - she'll never be classy. Lynne! It was great to see her plastic face - and she's a grandmother?! And it's Raquel's baby? Hilarious. What a messy family she has, but she's keeping up her Botox injections, bless her heart. Tamra is trashy as ever. From her annual boob job to that white trash baby shower. Sigh. She never changes and this season will be no exception.
  6. NYC I only have three things to say about this episode... Sonja is getting more Grey Gardens as the episodes go by. Dorinda's Berkshire house is so interesting and the story of her imagining she'd own it as a child was sweet. I could have boiled my own blood with the way Heather was conducting herself. What a bitch. That nice, sweet, caring husband of hers doesn't deserve her.
  7. And in more Kim Richards news...she's back in LA and refuses to return to rehab. Stick a fork in her, she's done: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3106392/Real-Housewives-Beverly-Hills-star-Kim-Richards-returns-Los-Angeles-run-daughter-s-wedding-Mexico-refuses-return-rehab.html
  8. The Australian sun has done a number on her skin, but she retains her beauty at 72. As an aside, Edgecliff, in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, is a very ritzy area - great to see that Carmen has done well for herself. She deserves it.
  9. No, she left America shortly after her role on AW ended, and moved to Europe with a very rich boyfriend. She was later diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer and treated successfully, moved back to Sydney, Australia, and has done a lot of charity work while taking acting work on television, film and theatre. I loved Duncan's Iris. She wasn't McKinsey's character at all, but I thought she was just fabulous.
  10. Bravo needs to pay attention to this and fire her from the show. If we're not rewarding thirst we surely shouldn't be rewarding an addict who can't get well.
  11. Don't forget Empress Lisa. Kim always tries in vain to throw some blame on her.
  12. And in Kim Richards news...apparently she fell off the wagon at her daughter's wedding in Mexico and insulted the groom's family. Oh and her behaviour was apparently so bad that her sober coach quit. http://dailym.ai/1PKQVHO
  13. I loved NYC this week! Carole's lack of work ethic and her anger at being compared to Sonja was interesting given that she and Sonja aren't nearly as far apart in terms of behaviour than Carole would like to think. The big difference is Carole holds her liquor better and Sonja's got a way better dermatologist. Sonja's trying to be self aware but she sinks herself with talk of "abundance candles"...that thing got snuffed out years ago. She needs to light a Good FICO Score candle and call it a day. Great to see LuAnn cry a little bit when she realized how lucky she is and how blessed she is for how things have turned out. LuAnn got real with herself in the last couple of years and it's been a life changer. She appears much lighter, more fun, enjoying the moment. That scene with Bethenny and her stepdad admitting that her mother "never wanted a child"...that had to sting. But he seemed like a good man, very self effacing and honest. He isn't wrong that Bethenny is stuck in the past because her past informs everything she does and is. I hope they work things out before he's gone, it'll do her good. Dorinda's few scenes were good. She is a breath of fresh air and such a nice addition to the show. Ramona's dating - good for her! Kristen remains as irrelevant as ever. As does Heather.
  14. Ha! Good catch. I'll welcome a Manuella (and Faye) return to the next seasons!
  15. RH of Melbourne I just love Janet. I always have. I'm so glad my taste has been proven right. Janet can be so messy, but she is hilarious and shoots from the hip: she decimated Lydia by blowing her out of the water about 'the rumours' which just blew Lydia's credibility to smithereens. I don't think Gamble would be wise to tangle with Janet, she'll bury her. Janet also clearly demonstrated how Gina's a hypocrite and Gina couldn't defend it at all. Pettifleur, on the other hand, is such a dumb bitch. She was a lunatic at the beginning. As Janet said, for all of the women to agree, it has to be true. Lord, she is just so out of touch, she needs to realize that we've all seen the real Pettifleur and she's hideous. Gina wasn't great in defending against the racist stuff - but it's plain and obvious she isn't racist. The lustre wore off Gina this season, which isn't a surprise, it happened last season for me. Gina is a hypocrite and she doesn't always defend herself well. I do still enjoy her because she's a real character. And boy, can she run in heels. Jackie was great against Pettifleur and she was great dealing with Gamble's attack on her psychic abilities. Jackie is bold and fun and necessary for this show. Chyka...yes she's a fence sitter, but she brings a lot to the show because of her lifestyle, business and attitude, which is very good humoured. Chyka is surprisingly game for anything. I like her. Gamble had better lock Rick down and get him down the aisle ASAP because she's lucked out with him - he's a winner. She is obviously petrified of Manuella (who I love), because she can outsmart her without batting an eye. It seems that Manuella's well spoken nature intimidates the hell out of Gamble. She stooped low in her fight with Manuella and it was low class. When Lydia objected to moving down the couch it said it all: she is so fearful of being irrelevant and fired. And she is irrelevant and she should be fired. Lydia's useless and stupid. Time for her to get fired. The race at the end and the behind the scenes to cap off the show was just great. This is a franchise that has a real sense of humour. Only in Australia! Bring on season 3! Re: Andy Cohen What actually happened is, in November 2013, Andy formed his own production company, Most Talkative, which has a first look deal with Oxygen and Bravo, signing a contract extension to host Watch What Happens Live, EP the Housewives franchise and host the reunions, which expires in November 2015. Andy couldn't have stayed on as the VP of Development at Bravo when his own production company has a deal with the network, it's a classic conflict of interest. Some could argue it was a demotion in that he's not the VP of Development at the network anymore, but I see it as a deal that gave him independence from being an employee and gives him more freedom as an independent producer. The head of Bravo, Frances Berwick, is still there and she's the one who hired him, so it isn't as if everything hit the fan for him.
  16. NYC Oh Sonja...that was just pathetic. Bethenny was really trying to get through to her, probably more seriously and genuinely than anyone else on the show...but it just didn't compute. Sonja doesn't want to believe her old life is over.
  17. BH: A This season had a renewed energy thanks to Rinna and Eileen. Lisa Vanderpump brings the unparalleled glamour and fun that we demand of this franchise and she seemed renewed this season as well - a step away from Brandi et al. Kyle and Kim's domestic nightmare is a tired storyline now and I never need to see Kim Richards onscreen again after her lies and addiction were widely exposed. Melbourne: B+ I do love this franchise and while it wasn't the glory of season 1, as the Gamble storyline dragged things on, it was still very fun and the women aren't vile - except Pettifleur. Pettifleur was a flop and I disliked her from the start and feel totally justified in my assessment of her. Janet remains my favourite because she can laugh at just about anything. Cheshire: A I love this premier season. You could love most of the ladies and love to hate the rest. I'm glad they're all returning. There is nothing like a tough Northern Englishwoman. It was refreshing, like Vancouver and Melbourne before it. Considering the stupidity that was Ladies of London, Bravo could take notes from RHOC's production team: that is how you do English reality drama.
  18. Queen Jeana Keough is in that OC commercial right at the end! RHoMelbourne The reunion part 1 was great because it's messy and hilarious and none of these conflicts are really that serious...Pettifleur made an ass of herself as usual. She's worse than Andrea. And Lydia is thirsty for a return next season, coming for Gamble for no reason at all was pretty transparent. Janet remains so messy and hilarious. She's 56 and just doesn't give a flying damn and laughs at everything when it comes right down to it. I think she and Chyka really get each other. Add Jackie to the mix and they're a riot. Gina was a bit subdued, as she was all season, but I'm glad she addressed Chyka being so agreeable.
  19. I'd love to know the last time Janet Huber was paid $65,000 for a pilot. Heck, I'd like to know the last time anyone was paid $65,000 for a pilot. Oh my...somewhere in Villa Rosa, Empress Lisa is laughing glamorously, swaddled in luxury.
  20. RHoNYC This season is great and consistent. Kristen is patently useless (the blog? Oh lord...). Sonja is delusional and is probably going to get screwed by the people she's doing business with, who knows...the only thing she seems to have a firm grasp on is the consequence of Chapter 11 bankruptcy. I appreciated that Bethenny went into Sonja's presentation guns blazing and didn't hold back in how WTF everything was. She can smell a rat. Carole's gross for doing that to LuAnn's niece. LuAnn isn't wrong for feeling the way she does, that was low down and sleazy of Carole. Ramona really need to dig deep and get fabulous again, it's pretty obvious that Mario cheating on her gutted her self esteem, damn him. Dorinda is a great addition to the show and her boyfriend is starting to irk me. Nothing but loud and crass from Heather in this episode.
  21. RHoMelbourne It was ever so tacky of Gamble to host an event that she swiftly won. Janet was so thrilled to be 3rd I had to smile for her. Pettifleur looks rough for 50. Honestly, she looks like a good 60. And she calls the other women "bitches" way too much for me to be comfortable anymore. She calls them "bitches" all the time and it's gross for an adult to speak like that. Chyka was always screwed once she started dealing with her. Her "vision"...good lord. She is such a rude assh*le. She treated Chyka's staff horribly. Disgraceful behaviour. She is such an awful person. Worse than Andrea, for sure. Janet was very complimentary to Lydia, comparing her to Nigella Lawson, and I think that was a good comparison...that pasta was incredible looking. That seemed like a very enjoyable dinner party and Lydia's mother seemed funny! Loved Janet's dishy gossip session with Manuela and then Manuela set Gamble up for one of the more hilarious confrontations I've seen on a Housewives franchise as Janet cursed up and down about Gamble needing to "shut the f*ck up and listen [because she's] f*cking had it!" Janet swears beautifully. It is hilarious and it's interesting that Gamble STILL doesn't get it because she is a dumbass. Gamble really couldn't handle Manuela...I just despise people who blather on about people being "intimidating"...grow up Gamble, dumbass! "If you haven't heard the Petite Fleur song once you're about to hear it again!" - Gina. That had me rolling with laughter, as did her description of Chyka laughing as Petitfleur swayed to the music with her eyes closed...and then Chyka's reenactment?! Amazing. And then Gamble can't stop the rumours by getting into it with Gina. I really don't mind how Jackie is with Gina because I don't think Jackie is a liar, she just doesn't need to. Jackie is right that Gina always bolts when she's confronted. Janet is right that Gina always claims things are "in jest" (confirmed by that most unfortunate VT...). "Gina is such a dirty fighter. She throws the bomb that Jackie and I have got dilated pupils and then runs as fast as that fat spanx ass will let her go" - Janet. OMG. What a great end of season party, loved every second of it - those ending captions were shady by the producers, I do hope we get a reunion...and a season 3, what a great one!
  22. Nene will be her own undoing. She really hasn't ever understood how replaceable *everyone* is in the entertainment business.
  23. Real Housewives of Cheshire has been renewed, all 6 are returning, filming stars in June with broadcast at the end of the year! http://www.itv.com/presscentre/press-releases/real-housewives-cheshire-return-itvbe
  24. LuAnn's Twitter was EVERYTHING. She really was live tweeting throughout the episode and it is a hilarious read. Bethenny v Heather is interesting because Bethenny reallllllly doesn't give a sh*t about Heather and Heather is so, so pressed about that.
