Variety April 5th Charlotte Stewart, rehearsing as ingenue lead in next Pasadena Playhouse production, "Open Book," has been cast as ingenue in NBC-TV daytime series, "Ben Jerrod, Attorney-At-Law. April 30th Joan Connors has been signed for three segments of "The Doctors," to be directed by Herbert Kenwith in New York. Actress just completed "Ben Jerrod, Attorney-At-Law" pilot for NBC.

Olivia Delaney was a bit of a mystery character.She was brought on as the ex wife of Robert but that was never explored as Robert was off the canvas and then she hung around with no story. Maybe Olivia was a victim of the writer changes around that time.

Variety reported in Jan 65 that John Beradino and Emily McLaughlin had successfully lobbied to receive special billing in the end credits.

RE RTPP Variety mentioned Terry Linn Wood into continuing role in June 73. And Ivor Francis for 'several episodes' April 72. Also Stacy Harris died suddenly in March 73 and was replaced by Frank Maxwell.

You would think that the headwriter/assistants job would be to lay out story and beats /character motivation etc without paying out extra money to have someone else throw in their 2 cents worth. From what I've read half the time they're ignored anyway.

Yes it was Julie. At a time when the show needed focus and to strengthen the core,they went in the opposite direction and went for new characters and families.

Have Sally decide to leave town with Kevin or mysteriously disappear and later discover Denny Hobson,her first hubby is responsible! Sally Phillips was the first 'adult' Sally and she was a rebellious type.Dawn Bwnz was also shortlived in the role at on e point. AW missed an opportunity in not having Ricky Matthews arrive in BC as a teen to stay with Grandma Liz and discover the truth about his past.He could go in search of his blood reatives, only to be disappointed and realize that the Matthews are his true family. Russ could have been given a teen daughter or son at this time (early 80's)a result of an affair from the times he was away from Bay City.

At home, Papa Bauer and Bill play chess as Bertha prepares the baby's bottle. Papa tells Bill he spends too much time away from home on business trips. When Bill receives a telegram from Meta announcing her impending return, Papa Bauer insists on phoning Meta's husband, Joe, to let him know. Jan 3 1961 Papa Bauer encourages Robin Fletcher to say goodbye to Mike, her soon-to-be ex-husband, who will be stopping by before leaving for New York. Mike's parents, Bert and Bill, discuss Mike's living arrangements in New York and his efforts to get over Carl's death, as Mike packs his bags upstairs. Bert doesn't want Mike to see Robin before he leaves. Mike, Bert, and Bill stop off to see Papa Bauer and Robin; Robin is cool toward them. When Mike talks to Robin alone on the patio, she returns her wedding ring to him and wishes him well. Oct 2 1963 Meta, Papa Bauer, and Bert wait for word on Julie, who is pregnant and has been in an accident. Bert tells Meta that Julie was already pregnant when Julie and Michael got married. Bruce Banning calls from the hospital and tells Meta to bring Bert and Papa Bauer there at once. In the hospital waiting room with George Hayes, Michael expresses remorse over the circumstances of his marriage to Julie. In the operating room, Dr. Banning and others deliver Julie's baby girl.

Lindsay Bloom was later on Y&R as Gloria -a semi rival for Leslie in the Jonas storyline.
