I find Sai and Erin so deeply unlikable it affects my enjoyment of the show. And I don’t care for Brynn the majority of the time.

I can see that. I'm no fan of Sai or Erin, but I'm hoping that the other women have finally woken up to their shenanigans (certainly Jessel and Ubah have). That will hopefully make for an interesting reunion.

I didn't care for Brynn until the antique books segment but, hey, I could change my mind again.

Yes, I am. I am loving it.

Same here. I am loving the nuRHONY, and I didn't expect to. I of course miss my RHONY originals and can't wait to see them soon (though I feel like im over Dorinda), but sonething about this new show's lightness appeals to me at this moment in time. The women have revealed their flaws, and that's what makes them interesting to me. I love Ubah and against my will am warming to Brynn, of all people. Like Miami, I sort of wish I could jump on the next episode immediately after watching a current one.

  3. I don't think Phaedra should be shoehorned onto a show called Married to Medicine unless she is indeed Married to Medicine MY LOVE! (c) Mariah Huq. At least Anila was married to a doctor!

The person in the coffin, I'm guessing, is Quad, not Mariah. She is pals with Phaedra. The tea is that Quad refused to film while Dr. G and his new paramour were on the show. So they filmed for a month or two, got married, and then faded out. And Quad came back to stir things up.

Like @NothinButAttitude I was disappointed by this trailer. There was nothing substantial to grab me. The only part that got my attention was Toya and Eugene having issues in their marriage. But M2M is a nice, slow burn so i will of course watch.

    Miami is here!!!!

I need LVP to speak out. I would once everything aired. Ain't no way she'd get away with leading the charge against me when it all panned out to be true.

I am all about this Miami return! Different from the BH trailer which, as @Gray Bunny pointed out, is saved time and again by its real-life scandals. BH is practically a true-crime show at this point (Anatomy of a Crumbled Marriage).

Miami hits different: part slice-of-life reality show, part telenovela, part stunning travelogue. I was worried about this being moved from Peacock, but I see the production standards and distinctive feel remain intact. And every time I saw Guerdy in that trailer, my heart got the feels big-time. I'm so glad the ~entire~ cast is back, BTW.

As for LVP, Lord knows what she'd say. So much water under that bridge. She'd get attacked whatever she responds -- if she says "Toldja, b!tches", she'll be castigated as bitter. If she reserves the right to not comment, she's a manipulative chess-player. As ungracious as the Umanskys have been about LVP (Mo was really rude; Kyle, weirdly, has mostly held back), I think it would behoove LVP to be circumspect. She knew, Camille knew, Alison the Psychic knew. Kim knew, Brandi knew, everybody knew about Mo's proclivities. But LVP living well, and VPR having a second wind, is her best revenge.

wow... Vyle Kyle finally is working for her pay check.

It's an astute move. Get ahead of the narrative, air your dirty laundry yourself and therefore control the narrative. As opposed to letting the other RHs write the narrative for you (think Denise and S10 -- and isn't it interesting how Kyle's SL this year sort of resembles Denise's).

I guess LVP was on point all those years ago about the affairs.

An entire season (S4) involved a full cast gang-up on LVP for bringing up the affair rumors! I wonder how they will be handled this season. I expect Kyle never to confirm it directly, but she'll do one of those knowing drink-sips to imply, yeah, he cheated.

And I will always be here for a Kyle takedown (and EricFake can STFU), but I gasped when she gathered Mo and have to give her her props for that.

Mo's face dropped when she came back at him. He is no longer being protected by his wife to ensure their brand, and she seems really over him.

I did feel bad for her kids. I don't think their reactions were fake or scripted.

    RHOBH trailer and photos

So, amid a few Tweets (!!) saying this was going to be a borefest without Lisa Rinna... I  found the trailer to be unexpectedly juicy!

There is no SL other than Kyle's marriage on the show -- and Kyle probably wouldn't want it any other way. She finally has a starring role without any siblings or English roses stealing her thunder.

Shocked that we not only see her daughters' reaction to the split, but we also see Morgan Wade on camera. As usual with BH, this raises questions of what elements have been outright scripted.

Surprisingly little of Annemarie. We saw more of the Spanish chef.

It also feels like this is trying to be Erika's redemption season?

Seeing Jax talk about needing his mom two years' ago was unexpected, and felt raw. I have to imagine he's talking about when the Twitter bots went after him.

  7. RHONY

Sai really thought she did something at her lunch with Jessel. She acted like she'd exposed her or something, but she's the one who looked like an a$$. Why is she asking everyone for "their story" and then passing judgment on whether it's good enough? I find her dead-eyed and unlikeable. She wants to come off as the snarky 'fan-fave' (a Bethenny, if you will) but it's flopping big-time.

Jessel needs to stop trying to win Sai over with her family history, though. Jessel is lowkey trolling her with that.

Sai and Erin + husbands dissing Jessel's marriage was also not a good look. So if a woman doesn't put out, the husband has a right to stray? I'm not sure what's going on with Parvit & Jessel's marriage, it does seem staged in parts, but at least on camera they seem to be vibing, a lot more than the dumb lugs Sai and Erin married. (People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, just saying).

And you better believe Sai is going to use that 'swingers in 10 years' time' nugget against Erin sooner or later.

@Soaplovers As a book lover myself, i loved the rare bookstore sequence with Brynn. I think she is legit a collector. I'd rather see this more thoughtful side to her also.

They all look true to themselves:

Erin, the stay-at-home mom "but I'm still young and cute, guys."

Sai wants you all to know that she is an INFLUENCER.

Jessel cannot dress for sh!t, but look how thrilled she looks!

Of course Brynn went for 'Sexy Victoriana.'

Ubah looks like a supermodel at an awards show, but her smile literally lights up the room.

There was chatter online about Jenna's choice of jeans, and how dare she at a reunion. I knew she'd try to JCrew it. It's fine. Jenna has a very set, very controlled image of herself from her JCrew days and she's never going to stray from that. It would be, like, betraying her brand.

Speaking of Jessel -- I am screaming in excitement. YES BRING BACK CAROLE RADZIWILL

  9. @NothinButAttitude I'm not Australian so hopefully Aussies will correct me, but my understanding was that Lisa's husband was such a hot mess politically that Murdoch and his acolytes never would have legitimately backed him on the political stage. There were so many scandals and power struggles in that extremist party of his that he was eventually expelled from it. He then transitioned into reality TV with Lisa where they put their troubled marriage out there for public consumption. They have since divorced. So I think to the Murdoch execs, he was a useful idiot they could make some money off of.

Lisa, who very likely had similar views as her husband and enjoyed the fame, came across to me as nobody's idiot. She trolled not just the other RHs but the audience itself. I suspect Foxtel saw that right away, saw that she understood the game and would be great for the show. She was an extremely controversial choice, though. Victoria voiced it on-camera and at the reunion, but she wasn't the only one who felt the Oldfields should not have been offered a platform given their extremist views.

I remember Ampika! And Dawn. The Magali! The good old days.

Good for Monique, honestly. Way before Bethenny jumped on that bandwagon.

  10. 2 minutes ago, NothinButAttitude said:

@Cat No one is actually blocking Monique from returning. Andy even said a few years ago that he wanted Monique back on Potomac. I am pretty certain it was because there is an albatross still hanging over the show--unresolved issues. I think the door is open for Monique to return when she is ready. Monique (herself) has sworn off reality TV; however, how many times have we heard many of these women say that? With the right price, anyone can be swayed back.

Yeah, I've heard rumblings that Gold Coast is where they wanna try and do a show next. It boggles my mind how at the height of Melbourne, why they didn't churn out city after city immediately. Even at their lowest, I didn't think Sydney needed to be cancelled. Tweaked? Yes. I am actually hoping Sydney is so good that they do more cities. Honestly, I wish Bravo would've acquired the rights to all the Australian/New Zealand and British shows and added them to their now lineup.

Thank you for clarifying about Monique. If she's sworn off of reality TV, then that is that, but like you, I am hoping a smooth phone call from Andy might get her thinking about a potential return on Potomoc. (I didn't watch Love & Marriage so I have no clue how she came off on that spin-off).

100%. S6 Melbourne was enjoyable to me, and at worst needed a rest, not a cancellation. Same with Sydney. It had an over-inflated cast with half of them doing nothing. They could have cut it down to Victoria, Athena, Lisa, Krissy and cast for two more. But it's Murdoch's most powerful executives over at Foxtel, and they ruthlessly wield a machete when it comes to hiring and firings.

Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland all had one important common denominator, and that is their EP, Kylie Washington, who is a reality show stalwart in Australia (and now creative director of BBC Studios ANZ).

It would be great if Bravo added the ANZ RHs to its lineup, but I'm not sure the UK ones fit at all. Personally, I think the UK RHs are low budget and parochial, and not a good fit.

I always get a little nervous when Truly Original do these comedic filler edits -- substituting actual substance and story. Clearly Bravo is pulling back on the storyteller trailers, because it looks like Karen, Ashley, Wendy, Gizelle, Candiace have absolutely zero going on here. I mean, Jesus, another nothingburger non-SL from supposed OG Gizelle? Did we even see Chris Bassett? Is nobody going to talk about Robyn's Patreon fail?

The newbie with the hair glue wants to out-Nigeria Wendy. Good luck with that. And she dragged Wendy's mom into it. You in danger, girl. If she goes after Ms. Dorothy, she is dead woman walking.

@Cat, do you know if they are reviving Melbourne or still moving ahead with the Gold Coast show? Personally, I think they should do both and revive Auckland, which should've never cancelled. I still hate how Auckland didn't at least get a reunion.

Regarding Potomac, that trailer was BORING. It didn't show enough of Robyn being held to the fire. I don't care for Nneka v. Wendy to see who is the most supreme Nigerian princess. I am over Ashley v. Candiace in regards to Michael. And why do they keep trying to make Charrisse happen? I am going to say it until I am blue in the face, Potomac is going to get back on track until Monique comes back and we truly resolve what happened in season 5.

    1. I missed Charrisse in that trailer, and I'm so glad I did.

    2. Monique should be on here with her divorce SL, I totally agree. Why are production and certain cast-mates blocking this??

    3. Melbourne. Last I heard, Foxtel were so mad about Melbourne's final season numbers that they didn't even hire Alex Perry for a reunion. Melbourne has been unofficially cancelled.... although would Foxtel mind if a streaming service took over the franchise? Binge is just such a streaming service, and it is trying to reboot Sydney. I don't understand why they didn't try to reboot Melbourne first, as its got at least 4-6 core OGs who were hugely popular and would come back. For a price. As opposed to Sydney's cheapo newbies. Rumor has it that's why Victoria didn't come back -- money.

I didn't know they wanted to do a Gold Coast show, but if they do, I hope it channels Kath & Kim or Ja'mie (Google them). I desperately wish they would revive Auckland. A hilarious, action-packed gem. Cat lady! Weakest Link lady! Racist lady. Angela Stoooone!

    Reunion is two parts.

Two parts only? Are they getting punished? I thought their ratings/demos were doing pretty well comparatively speaking. Two parts is usually a sign that Bravo wasn't a fan, although personally I think two-parts is the way to go. Maybe they are 90 minute two-parters.

I feel like that highly unsatisfying 'reunion trailer' was meant to showcase the new CGI. Which means Bravo just fired a bunch of set-dressers.

Hopefully Bravo releases a real trailer with some meaty bits.

Glad to see they revived Sydney and went the Miami route by keeping some of the original women (Krissy & Nicole); however, as heinous as they were, Lisa and Athena should've been the other 2 kept too. The downside is that Sydney will never have it's own identity if they don't give them their own theme. Using the Melbourne theme is just dumb. The sad part is Sydney has its own theme. I don't know why they don't use it. I am wondering if it is a music rights thing.

It's weird that they didn't just use the bespoke Sydney music. Maybe because the new show is now on a different network/streaming service (Binge versus the usual Foxtel).

Fully agree that they needed the 'force-multipliers' [(c) Carlos King] in the reboot. That should have been Victoria, Athena X (after a Xanax) and Lisa. Krissy could have been a fourth, or a FOH who needs to fight for her place (think: Adriana on RHOM).

The fact that they went for Nicole, who had zip to offer in the OG RHOS, is insane to me. I see her newest tagline is "Blah blah blah family is important to me." What she's actually saying is "Nothing to see here." I get that in her London days, she was buds with Dorinda and Caroline Stanbury. She's been desperately trying to show up on different RHs ever since. But other than being Krissy Marsh's mute twin, I cannot see what on earth she is going to offer.

Twitter views these looks as too basic but I think each outfit and color perfectly represents the woman wearing it, especially Queen of the Night Heather. I feel like Shannon and Tamra are channelling past iconic reunion looks too. This entire rainbow concept fits sunny OC to a tee.

Agreed; it's too bad Potomac wasn't ready to fire off right after Atlanta ended.

@NothinButAttitude Besides NuNYC and SLC, we also still have OC!  It's currently just SLC & OC in my house.  I actually just happened to watch the most recent NuNYC and I still can't warm to this group. The flirty drunk reminds me of Molly Burnett from her DAYS days.

Yes, please don't forget OC which has recovered its mojo after 5 seasons in the doldrums! It's been an entertaining ride, and this week is the alliance-swapping, back-stabbing season finale.

I don't know why Poromac isn't yet ready, which kind of worries me. However, I had forgotten M2M comes back around this time too! SIX RH (adjacent) shows! I love M2M. Teresa, Dolores, Jennifuh, it was nice knowing you.😥

Molly Burnett had a few decent moments in her Days career LOL but I know what you mean with Brynn, and now I can't unsee it.🤭

Is it just me or does anyone else not like Sai? I just find her to be dark energy. She stays starting crap (alongside Erin), but she tends to walk away unscathed. I PRAY that they hung her out to dry at the reunion. She and Erin irk my nerves the most out of the new batch of apples.

Dare I say it, but Bravo needs to add a new city or two because one part of the year can't be top-heavy with shows while the other lags. Yes, I get that Dubai, BH, Potomac, NJ, and Miami are all going to pop up November/December, but they really need another show in rotation at the moment with SLC and NY. Dare I say, but either revive Dallas or DC and just give them a smaller episode count. Bravo just feels vacant right now.

I find Sai hard to warm to for precisely the reasons you indicate. During the Anguilla trip, she did show her fun side, which was welcome. But she is definitely stirring the pot -- encouraging Ubah and Jessel to b!tch about Erin whilst getting Erin riled up about them.

I see in the preview that she keeps gate-keeping the 'my trauma is worse than your trauma' stuff with Jessel. This is after her ridiculous meltdown on the boat because she didn't deem Jessel's history authentic.

For the record, Jessel needs to stop with the false equivalencies of 'My uncle was an alcoholic, just like your mom!' (as next week's trailer shows). It is not the same, and Sai is 100% right to point that out. Nevertheless (and I know I've said this before), this very privileged group is strangely competitive when it comes to hard-luck stories. I see it in real life too, especially among connected, wealthy people. It's like they are low-key embarrassed about their wealth and background, and that only with backstories involving poverty/neglect/hard work/against the odds can they somehow 'prove' their credibility or authenticity -- and burnish their brand.

Sai definitely believes she has already won that game, and it comes off as smug. Maybe she is entitled to be smug given all she has achieved in her life! She seems to have worked hard at it and was not handed opportunities on a silver platter -- of that I have no doubt. Sai can be unlikeable, and that's unusual on these RH popularity contests.

"Dubai, BH, Potomac, NJ, and Miami are all going to pop up November/December"

---- Wait, what? All 5 shows screening at the same time?? That's too much! My sweet spot is 3 at a time, in case one of the shows is a dud.

How can I choose between BH, Potomac, Miami?? I'm intrigued by Dubai's sophomore season for sure. (NJ if it weren't for the fact that I am now completely exhausted by the Gorga family dynamics).

It would be nice if Potomac were starting about now, leading into a December start for BH and Miami. I feel like Potomac and BH wrapped up filming some time ago. Dubai too.

    nuRHONY

Holy sh*t Erin jumped the shark tonight. She is a younger, dumber, more entitled, and less hard working Ramona. The white fragility is strong with this one.

She was literally crying to her father that Ubah confronting her was the "meanest" thing she's ever experienced. And THEN she talks about the childhood trauma of having a "long jaw" and being called "Long Jaw Silver" in school...this woman hasn't experienced anything bad in her life. Nothing. She really thought she was going to garner sympathy with all of that?

Thanks for the head's up, because that, and Jessel's digital Burn Book, was the funniest thing on the episode! I cackled evilly when Erin in her VT started welling up and getting shaky-voiced as she painfully gulped the words "Long.... Jaw.... Silver."

We all have our cross to bear when it comes to middle-school trauma, but in the context of nu-RHONY's wealthy bubble, it's time for Erin and Jessel to give up: Sai and Brynn have pretty much won the Feel-Sorry-For-Me Olympics on this show, lol. Unless Ubah reveals something in next week's episode.

Like many of you, I think both Erin and Ubah did themselves no favors with how they handled this argument. Ubah dragged out the anger and resentment for much longer than needed. She is super intense, a little anxious, and fixates on issues, making them bigger than they actually are (as a fellow singleton, i can relate to that; we don't have a partner to bounce things off of). However, one reason she was holding onto a grudge was that she never got a straight apology from Erin. Erin demands immediate apologies fron the women, but when they demand one from her, they get dismissed with "It's a joke! Don't you have a sense of humor?" Or "that was 3 months ago, get over it." (Both are like red flags in front of a bull for me).

Erin can dish it out but she can't take it. Since the first episode, she's been picking on people's words and behaviour, looking for a stick to beat them with. (Notice how she and Sai are allied in going after Jessel going in next week's episode). Now that the other women have cottoned onto her game, she doesn't like being on the other side of their scrutiny.

In the end, though, I like that the two pretty much got over it by episode's end. Until reunion, that is.

    Little Girl...

The thing is Little Girl is legitimately stupid. Sure, desperado Jennie showed up, but the correct response is pay her dust!

I think RH of Sydney will be a bust. Krissy was a nobody bitch in the first iteration. Lisa is the one I would have loved to see back because she was so consistent in undermining all the other women. She drove them insane. In hindsight, Lisa was right about all of them. Athena X was literally insane, so I'm cool with not having her back.

RH of Melbourne needs to return so badly, with the OG's Janet and Gina - absolute Real Housewives icons...who knows what will happen. Janet hosted a lunch for several of them and the executive producers back in April...

Oh this gives me a lot of hope! The glorious thing about RHOM OGs was how full their lives are. They are genuinely thrilled about their RH experience but continue to live their great lives fully. If the cameras are there, great. If not... life goes on. The fact that they reunited with Gina, Chyka (who went to London, Paris and Tuscany on an amazing holiday this summer) and Lydia makes me happy as a fan.

I only know Lisa from her MANY clips and her RL gossip aside that I heard...she looks hilarious. And her shade about that white party...as a Southerner...always gags me. As a STAR WARS fan...her shade on that was always funny. She knew how to go IN.

This, this, ALWAYS THIS. When all of you mentioned her years ago, I was looking forward to seeing THIS Gina. And she has not at all disappointed me. And when I think of the MVP of RHs, I soooo think of her as well.

And that's another thing I loved about RHoMel. They really do hang out outside of the show. I LOVE seeing Gina with Gamble and Pettiflueur a few months ago dancing to Kylie Minogue's PADAM PADAM.

Dancing to the goddess Kylie's fantastic comeback --- this is how life should be lived.  🙌

And yes Gina remains a MVP. Always!

Lisa was hilarious. She really pricked the other women's pretentiousness and gave LOL moments. Krissy and Nicole can only wish. Speaking of Star Wars, didn't she call Krissy Chewbacca?

  18. 4 hours ago, Liberty City said:

She looks possessed. Yes, you make a scene, public, business or not.

Janet is iconic. As was Ms. Gina!

Gina was the ultimate Real Housewife. Beyond Iconic. If we are compiling a true list of Real Housewife legends, alongside Nene and LVP, there absolutely has to be Gina Liano.

I wish she and Lydia would return to the Melbourne retool, but I think they've moved on with their lives. Lydia would be more likely to return than Gina, in fact.

As for SLC --- Little Girl was way too defensive, and I notice she saved all her F-bombs for the viewers questioning her about the photo (!), rather than the racist thirst-trap who showed up uninvited to her event. As a business, you absolutely have the right to quietly remove someone from your premises during an important launch. The priority is the event, which must not be derailed. What was Whit afraid that sad-sack would do? Boohoo outside in the snow?

Little Girl has responded very, very defensively.

So the thirsty never-was that was Jennie decides (while SLC is currently airing) to show up at Whitney's event with her own camera crew?? I'm shocked Little Girl didn't have security escort her out. I get that in the moment she probably didn't know how to react, but im not sure I would have agreed to a photo. Because we all know a photo preserves that moment in time for posterity.

I saw the 'trailer' for RHOSydney. I have thoughts. First of all, that trailer showed so little of the season that I have to hope another, fuller, better trailer will be forthcoming. Because this peek gave me no incentive to watch.

Secondly, all they could get of the old guard was Krissy Marsh (who did some solid RH work, it has to be said) and her silent BFF Nicole? What about the three MVPs of S1 -- Victoria, Athena X and Lisa?? OK so Lisa was probably despised because she was trolling the cast the whole time, and Athena was legitimately batsh!t, but Victoria wasn't available? I'm surprised they didn't bring at least one of those three to the reboot.

Thirdly....I miss my Melbourne ladies! A franchise like Sydney is 100% missing a Janet or a Gamble.
