I haven't seen a lot of CB Alan, but were there times he could be considered an anti-hero/romantic leading man? I never thought of Roger as an anti-hero/romantic leading man. Roger was a villain, but he was also a complex and layered character. MZ acting and the writing during the Potter and Calhoun eras is what allowed Roger to be more than just a one-dimensional villain.

Today's show didn't feel like a Friday episode. Yesterday's totally did. Maybe they're trying to slow the pace to ease into the March Madness break. Oh yes. Agree.

When I think of CBS daytime soap opera villains, my top four in date order are MZ Roger, CB Alan, James Stenbeck, Victor Newman.

Roger was the OG and GOAT of CBS soap opera villains and we should give MZ his flowers for that. Roger ran so JR and Victor could walk.

Sheila has been played out since 1998. She is Bradley's "break glass in case of emergency" character.

Three weeks of Beyond the Gates and my thoughts so far: Andre/Dani ❤️‍🔥 Sean Freeman (Andre) is the show's hotness. Tricia Mann-Grant (Leslie aka Silk Press Sheila) is the show's breakout star.

I feel so bad for Traci, losing in love again. She's the heart of the Abbott family and deserves to have happiness in her life.

I'm not seeing it. I'm team Andre/Dani. Now they are off the charts heat generating.

Thanks to Google, I found out Sean Freeman (Andre) age. Sean Freeman - I got my first talent agent in 2020, at 31.... | Facebook 31 in 2020, so 1989 or 1988 birth. He's 7 or 8 years younger than Karla Mosley.

1991-1994 was a brief NBC primetime mess era, as they transitioned from the Cosby/Cheers era to the Seinfeld/ER/Friends era. Then again 1990/91 to 1992/93 was 1980s hangover, and I don't feel the 1990s really began television-wise until 1993/94.
