  1. I really liked the Ric/Kelly flirtation. But then the show did the whole Kelly/Robert/Quinn thing with a side of Eden and Cruz marriage crisis and Ric was basically wasted thereafter.
  2. Yes, eminent domain. Which, by the way, he also tried with one of his casinos in trying to appropriate land for a parking lot that belonged to someone else. He lost that in court.
  3. Supreme Court shoots down mystery overseas corporation fighting Mueller subpoena: So says WaPo. And, to add, the female Rissian attorney at that reported Trump Tower meeting about "adoptions" ages ago has been charged with obstruction of justice. I want to see Spanky exploding on TV tonight. But I won't. Because I refuse to listen to his lies and watch his pasty orange bloated self.
  4. So, per the tweet you embedded, one Trump voter whines about being hurt, saying he needs to be hurting someone else. I love it when karma shows she really is a b-i-t-c-h!
  5. Good point. And I liked Cruz and I liked Ric. (Didn't buy the later story of Ric not being a Castillo.) I forgot about their sister, Carmen. But, yeah, fleshing them out more would have been good.
  6. Like most, it didn't help that Santana was recast so much. And with each actress change, it seemed her personality changed with them. I would have stuck with Gina Gallego and tried to make her stronger and not so needy and weepy. I am one that did love the Capwell family. Maybe BECAUSE OF that darkness. But I do agree they needed others to bounce off of. I would have tried bolstering the Lockridges. Jack Wagner was all wrong for Warren, IMO. I would have brought back John Allen Nelson (assuming he would return) and drop the whole "Lionel is not Warren's father" travesty. JAN even sounded like Nic Coster. I would have kept Shell Danielson's Laken, too. And while Janis Paige was a lovely woman, she was far, far too young to be Minx. She should have been a Lockridge cousin or something. Cassie would be wiped out of Lockridge existence. And while perhaps a blue-collar family was needed, I'm not sure how to fit one in. The only one that seemed to work was the Duvalls, and that went south rapidly with Christy accusing Ted of rape and Mary dying. (Both the Perkins and Walker clans were dreadful. And the latter, as far as I am concerned, helped kill the show since Pam Long seemed to shove them to the forefront while disregarding almost everyone else. Jodie as Cruz's retconned first baby mama was annoying as hell.) Just my take.
  7. I love(d) Robert/Anna, personally. I'd guess it all comes down to the usual personal preferences. But they did appear on enough covers which makes me think enough did like them or they would not have repeated that, etc. But who knows? And considering what Anna is reduced to now, Robert looks even better.
  8. And this one involves a former soap star-turned-prime-time star: Michael Weatherly apparently made lewd comments to would-be series regular, Eliza Dushku. When she complained, she was fired instead, and received $9.5 million, the amount she would have made as a series regular on Bull. Which airs on CBS, naturally, so none of this surprises me.
  9. Dementia will do that! More and more, I do think this POS has it.
  10. I'd forgotten how Neil left. He pulled a Don Craig? And hey, just think, just a year or two following Evan's demise, "Don" gained "Evan" as a black-sheep son...in California, so to speak. 😉
  11. Yep. And rude is still not cause for spitting on Acosta's First Amendment rights as part of the free press. How I love the suffering this trash heap administration is experiencing!
  12. In today's "Lawsuit Follies", CNN and Jim Acosta are suing the Trump Administration. Yeehaw! And Maryland is filing for an injunction against Matthew Whitaker's appointment to Attorney General.
  13. Trump skipped visiting a cemetery in France honoring our dead soldiers - because it was RAINING. His BS administration is claiming "security", but past administrative folks are calling it bull schitt, as they should. Love the first paragraph of this WaPo article about it. About time they call this POS out. Our world standing is deservedly in the sewer. But then, what else should the military expect from a five-time draft dodger?
  14. Except it's the House that controls the purse strings. So if/when the House does keep Mueller, should the DOJ play games, well...another loss for Trump there.
  15. Trump can fire Mueller. And come January, the Democratic House can - and likely will - reinstate him.
  16. What's jarring is seeing the ratings for the shows at the bottom rung of the ladder, so to speak, and realizing they are still triple (or greater) the current numbers that constitute a "hit" on broadcast TV today!
  17. Regarding your spoilered section, I think I read:
  18. The debut season of this show seemed, pardon the pun, real. Just 7 individuals trying to find their way in NYC. Eric, Julie, Becky, Heather, André, Kevin, and Norman (and the dog, Gouda!) seemed grounded yet managed to have friction because of their different backgrounds. The last season I watched was only S2 or 3, the one in San Francisco with Puck, Pedro, Rachel, and the rest. And then it just turned into a hot mess to see who could drink, screw, or yell the most. And the "real" in "Real World" was no more! To think that first cast is now in their 40s (like me -eek!).
  19. What the phuck?! Some should not be allowed to speak. Or breed.
  20. Welp, so much for false flags! Good job to the FBI in catching the MAGABomber!
  21. Sigh. Republicans outpacing Democrats in early voting in key states.
  22. Cheer up. Alexa tells me there is only 752 days until the 2020 Presidential Election! It feels like it has already been 752 YEARS since the orange POS took office and ruined this country.
  23. Judge T.S. Ellis (who showed bias against prosecutors) orders a hearing regarding the "unusual timing" of Paul Manafort's plea deal. It's set for October 19th This POS needs to be thrown off the bench..
  24. Republicans May Be About To Steal An Election In Georgia. - WaPo.
  25. This is not a popular opinion. But, while I do understand the need for youth and fresh ideas, the fact is, Trump and his ilk have damaged this nation so phenomenally that we will likely need someone with experience to even start cleaning up the enormous amounts of messes the current GOP has created. And, like it or not, that translates to someone "old". Add in that our respectability and standing around the world is also below sewer level, and that needed experience will be needed all the more to repair our image. I'm not saying there should never be another Obama or someone else equally young and dynamic down the line, but right after Trump, sadly, is not the optimal time.
