Yes! I actually think Drake did good work with this arc. It also had to be kind of bittersweet, losing his established role, maybe fearing for his future. But he acquitted himself well. And I will forever love the whole Chichen Itza remote. It was gorgeous. And quite the backdrop for Isabella to tell John about being pregnant with Brady. On another note, I have read of many upcoming returns some time ago, and I thought it may have had to do with Roman, but now...I wonder if the show was sadly planning ahead. As I wrote in the Santa Barbara thread, I recently bought the special 50 Greatest Couples SOD print issue. Nice photos/write ups and all, but while Days, GH, Y&R, B&B, and even canceled soaps Santa Barbara, Guiding Light, As The World Turns, and All My Children had multiple couples listed, Another World only had one... But then, some soaps like Generations, Loving, Capitol, and Search For Tomorrow had zip, so...maybe one was still better.

As it always seems to be...

So, I ordered the special Soap Opera Digest 50 Greatest Couples special print issue, and it arrived recently. How the rankings were chosen, I have absolutely no idea. But what surprised me was, in that issue, while both Cruz and Eden and Mason and Julia made the list...Cruz and Eden were #36, while Mason and Julia were #23! Gotta admit, that surprised me here. (Even saying this as a mega Mason and Julia fan!) With that said, it's a nice special issue, with nice write ups and photos and such. I don't care what the FBI claims. With Loomer and the hate in Ohio and such? I would not be surprised if this latest "attempt" was staged. I'm not convinced the FIRST one wasn't. Because the timing is awfully convenient. Yes, I know conspiracy theories make everyone sound looney, myself included. But, again, with the kind of person Trump is, and those in with him? I put nothing past any of them.
