The whole week really felt like classic Days tbh it was wonderful and actually daring. Rikaart actually having fun opposed to his dreariness over on Y&R. The only thing I think was missing was a Lucas & Sami plot which would have made it perfect.

All of this! Sharon’s become pathetic, the show looks like crap, and is also written like crap. Just crappy all around. She should have left with Hartley’s Adam and both characters lived happily ever after traveling the world or something like that. But Pratt always liked a good explosion and for God knows what reason but Pratt, Sussman, and Young all thought coma inducing “Chick” was the next biggest thing.

The most unfortunate thing is both the Ashland & Victoria and Adam & Sally are pairings have spark so of course TIIC think both have to be decimated. Chelsea can stay gone lol. MCE just doesn’t work at all as the weepy tragic heroine. It’s pathetic of what a caricature Chelsea is.

Yep. I know Sharon’s character is permanently trashed and long damaged but it’s still pretty damning that she would still pine for Adam despite all she would lose in the process. BTW what’s up with the Tiny CBS eye btw? 🤣

In a way Sharon been back in crazy town for a while. Not batshit, kleptomaniac, bipolar baby stealing/swapping unhinged deer in the headlights psycho Sharon was from 2009-2016 and again briefly in 2018 but she is definitely unmoored at the moment….her continued friendship and obsession with Adam all the while absurdly being his therapist, her volatile marriage to Rey, ignorance of Faith etc. I hate it all it’s pretty icky.

There’s been rumblings for a while that Sharon is going to devolve and go back to crazy town, this kind of indicates it as such. I had joked recently about how Ron Carlivanti would write Y&R, pretty sure Ashland would be discovered to be either Prentiss Brooks or Eric Garrison with the old women being Dina lol.

It’s so nice to see Davidson just so easily step back into the roles of Mary Moira and Kristen again. Haiduk who?

They have had zero story since Sally left aside from being part of that stupid crossover. Katie hasn’t had any story since the picture frame mess right lol? Geez. I do know Heather Tom has been directing Dynasty episodes and I think directed for another show as well since obviously they aren’t using Katie. Okay And Shauna is completely dead weight again. Typical to bring in a star like Denise Richards and then never utilize them. Yikes. It would be nice if either Thorne and/or Rick had been recast or if the show brought on fresh characters for others to interact with.

I don’t think so at all. During Peck’s final two years at Days 2000-2002 he had alienated a lot of the cast with his extremist beliefs that most of the cast were reluctant to work with him again.

Re: Peck as Austin; the rise of St. Carriewhore always will triumph their relationship no matter what. I wish we had a Mike & Carrie kid to add to canvas at the end of the day. I remember back in 2005 when Clark returned she had said in an interview that she wished she was working with Muldoon again which I found strange and hilarious at the same time. In fact I think Sweeney was less than thrilled at Peck’s return which is what eventually definitely gave way to the rise of EJ long term. It was so interesting that last time around in 2006 of how Austin and Carrie reconciled and remarried with I think John & Marlena being their only supporters because by that point Lucas, Sami, and Kate had bigger fish to fry.

LOL I am about to watch Beyond Salem now but saw this but I remember several years back in 2010 when Corday said he would never get rid of the mid-show bumper even if it was old fashioned. Of course he lied in the long run lol. I like Tinker so far as Sonny. I do miss the days of the original Chill back in 2010-11 I wish the show had actually followed through there at the time.

I don’t get it either but I do think we’ll have a new Chance at least by November sweeps. It reminds of the time frame between how Muhney left as Adam and Hartley came on as his replacement but that’s about the only example I can think of replacing a dismissed actor in the middle of a story.

Devon has a past of being a serial cheater so I guess it’s in character? Either way it does seem overkill. I thought the Sutton story was over with it but guess they are going to get a resolution out of it? This story already feels DOA. Devon & Abby have been teased for years ever since Rylan was in the role so yes a decade too late. Sharon gets put in her place? Jealous of Adam? I hate that Sharon is unstable and in toxic relationship town again. Her marriage with Rey has been nothing but mistrust and arguments. Ugh. B&B’s spoilers are indeed ridiculous and predictable. Believe it or not the Hope/Liam spoiler actually slightly grabbed my interest. I do wonder who this mysterious character/unwelcome house guest is. The fall SOD preview mentions “a character who returns to the show” which could mean anything. Maybe it is one of Sheila’s daughters? New love interest for Thomas lol maybe he can finally find the right guy since Vinny went off the deep end. 😂

Was this the “The Many Ways of Love/To Love Each Day” soap I’ve seen mentioned before? I wonder what the soap would have been about aside from one mention of “possible Y&R spinoff”.

The popular fan theory that Chance had to put Mariah in a secret safe house to protect her from whatever investigation he was in was a lot more logical than what we saw play out on screen.

Basically Stitch was still very guilt ridden over his son Max causing Abby’s miscarriage from five years ago, so he had Mariah kidnapped as means to protect the baby at all costs and he had unresolved feelings for Abby. Mariah had gone missing like a week before Stitch showed up. Hope that helps, the rest to all too ridiculous to breakdown. The “clue” that was planted was Stitch lied about his job at the hospital as “Chief of Surgery” when Nate is actually that title holder. Why it took anyone a month to realize that before Devon’s “Aha!” Moment………

LOL and then watch Quinn get pregnant but Eric will fight for custody or some stupid [!@#$%^&*] Iike that will occur. The whole marriage certificate thing is puzzling to me but a very stupid plot point. I guess Steffy decided she had been through so many annulments, divorces, and invalid ceremonies she didn’t not to file one before the ceremony? LOL. LOL I found it funny they pumped in loud crowd noise yet there is zero other guests unless there ghosts or invisible 😂😂😂 You’d think they could at least dress up a few crew members to walk around to throw in or invite a few close family members to make it look like something.
