They had been teasing Chance with both Sharon and Chelsea all summer now. This Chance actor is a lot more dynamic than Boaz ever was, but Chance & Abby themselves have had not much storyline. Most of their story was of course interrupted in 2020 and then seriously rushed, Chance was absent for most of 2021, and then came back for a very offensive and disgusting story. Yeesh.

Unfortunate but completely understandable. This show has always treated MM so wrong I don’t think her talents should be stifled by a show that hasn’t always respected her. So I’m glad she’s leaving out on her own terms. As for Leigh Ann Rose she’s been long overdue to be put on a contract but I’m afraid this will be the show’s excuse to drop her. For whatever reason her and Nate actually boinking never materialized despite this show spent like two months building up to it. Josh Griffith sucks.

Re: Lauren on Y&R I know during the early years of her return to Y&R she was involved in Paul’s story with Isabella and even dated Paul again 2003/2004, but she never did interact with the other love of her life Brad? I don’t recall their history ever brought up again until Brad’s funeral. But some friendships are best left in the past. Nick/Phyllis/Michael/Lauren going on double dates and barbecuing at each other houses was embarrassing. Other than some recent scenes involving Diane, Phyllis and Lauren haven’t been close friends in a long time either. As far as past soaps I found it interesting that Holden and Emily were once married on ATWT yet for the last 15 years they very rarely interacted and didn’t acknowledge each other. Maybe because the Hensley’s wanted it that way? Barbara’s relationships with Lisa and Kim also fell by the wayside.

I actually like Audra so far from what I’ve seen but I can’t see her with any incarnation of mopey Noah lol. She definitely would have been the one to wear the pants in that relationship lol.

Josh Griffith coasted waaaaayyyyy too long from his early 90’s critical acclaim. His work on ATWT and his 2012-13 stint was decent but nothing stellar. His Days stint and this right here are disastrous beyond words. Diane’s return has been the best thing to happen in 2022 and yet it’s now been in a holding pattern for some time now, only held up because Susan Walters has been a powerhouse to watch.

I so was hoping he would be Cole Howard, that would definitely have rocked up Nikki, Ashley, and Victoria’s worlds.

Lol. I hadn’t thought about that for the upcoming Skyle renewal nuptials, but the Graz did come back very briefly for Summer’s last (non) wedding back in 2016 when GT was Phyllis so that makes sense if he’s back for that. Alison Lanier has completely invigorated the once dull character of Summer and both AL and MM actually have some warm chemistry, but giving Kyle & Summer a story about vow renewals is completely ridiculous and unnecessary. Aside from refereeing between Phyllis & Diane the two should at least should be experiencing at least some form of normal every conflict or minor disagreements over work or something. But this is JG’s drama free show…

Only for Lucy to be head off to college after six months later! 🤣🫠 Seriously i figured after Phyllis went off to visit Daniel earlier this summer that the Graz was destined to come back. It’ll be interesting to see if this is just a short visit or at the least some type of short term story arc.

Wow what a finale! It did feel a bit rushed, probably should have been two hours long but everything pretty much got tied up very nicely. Adam’s comeuppance was very fitting lol. Au revoir to the Carrington family, the show has been silly but fun ride for the last 5 years.

It would be delightful to get scenes where Diane, Sally, and Imani form a friendship where they get together over wine and coffee as they gossip with each other much to the rest of GC’s “horror”. 😁 Friday 9/16—Damn Nate!! I can buy Newman Enterprises being Genoa City’s lone Fortune 500 company that is a conglomerate in the same nature of Proctor & Gamble or Colgate Palmolive. NE having sectors of media, oil, and energy is utterly ridiculous though. And have a very stable corporate leadership minus the occasional scandal/controversy. I can buy Jabot Cosmetics as a family owned medium mid-sized cosmetics company that’s proven to be a formidable underdog to NE’s own cosmetics line as well as others. But a very famous world class Milan fashion house relocating to GC? GMAFB. Fenmore’s I can buy as a last man standing regional department store held on by its west coast division and by it opening a successful off-price spinoff in the same vain of Ross and TJ Maxx but to have Lauren talk about Fenmore stores in Dubai and London……???? The rest of GC has no place in business really. AHVictoria and Abby should be running a local art gallery and auction house together Nate and Elena doctors at the hospital, Billy owning the GC Chronicle on the side while butting heads with its editor Lily, Amanda is the new town lawyer while Imani operates her own PI firm, Phyllis runs a local fiber Internet business, Devon owning his own entertainment venue and nightclub, Chloe, Chelsea and Kevin all three locked up in the mental hospital etc.

I swear I remember this airing on Logo(?) or something back in the mid-00’s. Basically a Canadian version of Passions lol I had liked the short lived Dante’s Cove a lot better. I don’t remember being impressed with this, but thanks for sharing! A nice trip down memory lane.

Two years now come November lol. There’s literally no one else in her age group besides Adam. She had that brief fling with Theo but obviously that was dropped with the show abruptly dropping him. I’m surprised she has yet to go after either Kyle and/or Chance. Instead we’ve seen her get paired with 60-something Jack and now a 49 year old Nick. And Sally is actually the fourth woman Nick and Adam have shared, but the fourth one is actually best to be forgotten 😁
