  1. B&B is probably the KING of this topic lol. That said here’s a couple others: ATWT’s Bob has daughters Frannie & Sabrina with sisters Kim & Jennifer. Later on John both fathered a son with Kim and then later with her niece Barbara, although their son died not long afterward. GL’s Beth had children by both Alan and Phillip. Other than Sharon’s pregnancy & miscarriage with Dylan I can’t think of anything for Y&R off the top of my head.
  2. Oddly enough Lisa Mansfield was in the opening credits as was both David and then Mari Jo later on. I think Sheila deserved a spot too lol. The 1999-03 opening credits had some glaring omissions as well, even when they first rolled it out.
  3. At least from what I felt from Y&R’s classics was at least the actors themselves had a hand in picking episodes. That Victor & Nikki week definitely had some unusual choices with but I sincerely got the feeling EB & MTS had personally handpicked the eps themselves. Thudley can go kick rocks tbh. Thank you! A virtual classroom for the first two weeks and then possibly 1-2 days a week of some form of face to to face interaction with students after Labor Day but it is all subject to chance asterisks and all.
  4. Haha or Thudley putting his hand in the cookie jar for his own choices. Keep us up to date! It figures with our school slowly reopening up Y&R would start airing new episodes the same day I go back into work, been the longest Spring Break ever.....
  5. It is for the best. Same with 2011 and 2015 lol! Wow guess I hadn’t realized they hadn’t even touched 1995 yet. I’d say from that year Adam’s birth, Lily’s birth, Jill paying Mamie money to leave town, Matt’s shooting, Nathan’s affair and the chilling climax of the Blade/Rick reveal(Walton and Barton were brilliant!) would be highlights worth re-airing at least. The only ‘95 ep I know that has ever reaired was the Christmas ep that aired again on Christmas Day 2007. I wish we had seen more of ‘98 Y&R was definitely can’t miss that year.
  6. I was wondering the same thing lol. I think I have seen part of that 1986 episode on your playlist @YRfan23 with that hilarious scene of the hypocritical church ladies threatening Mary they would ostracize the Williams family...my question is why were the old hags reading the Playgirl-esque magazine anyways? 🤣
  7. Thanks for sharing! I wonder what the 1986 ep is. The 1992 episode is the infamous Sheila & Lauren farmhouse fire episode. I know the 2004 ep is when Nikki and Sharon went into the sewers looking for Cameron’s body that Larry told them he dumped down there. 😁
  8. Subjective is right indeed! I think back to that Victor & Nikki week back in May while it was an unusual set of eps that aired that week I mean we saw Vanessa Prentiss scheming in the midst of it all yet I truly got the sense the eps were handpicked by EB and MTS themselves as their favorite Victor & Nikki moments of all time, which made it even feel more endearing too. While I want to see so much more all over again, I won’t forget that Y&R did go out of its way to dig into their library to bring out some great classics, even if they didn’t make sense or not lol(Nick & Sharon’s 2001 Arabian Nights date ep was so minuscule to everything else going on in that ep 🙂)
  9. This! This has turned into the longest spring break ever for myself and I don’t know what this fall will bring. I have been so happy to episodes & moments again in years I haven’t seen, thrilled to finally see certain moments, and even learn new things along the way with Y&R which will always be my fave (with ATWT & GL tied at number two lol) I really wish both Y&R and B&B would have consider at least cutting a day to air classic episodes instead a for awhile as they returned to filming.
  10. I Jill’s big Sunday hat at Neil & Dru’s reception.
  11. Cooper was always perfect for the part of Genoa City’s nasty old rich lady. It’s funny some of her contemporaries just a few years younger often tried to go younger but honestly facelift aside I am glad Mrs. Chancellor never ever got played for younger.
  12. Interesting, thanks for sharing. Maybe one day Y&R will get its own Pluto TV channel or be up on CBS All Access. It’s a damn shame it is not already
  13. I follow Jess on Facebook, haha I loved she recently took a poll on all the recent eps reran what everyone’s favorite was thus so far; I think from what I could tell on her page the 1998 attic fight, Glow by Jabot era eps and 1990 Marge ep were leading the way.
  14. BTW thank you as always @YRfan23, your early 90’s collection always gives me joy 🙂.
  15. Curious, was this the soap he was planning in 1976/77? Do we know anything about what it was going to be about?
  16. Haha I was amazed they did keep it so long considering how 70’s it sounds, especially in that 1987 clip of Jill & David. I was a bit stunned to hear it in one of those ‘93 episodes(can’t remember which one but it was around the time Katherine was trying to expose Jill’s pregnancy might). At least Liz’s Theme, Love is Gone theme, and the Genona City Theme had been remastered to fit into the late 80’s & early 90’s seamlessly
  17. The music which I am talking about starts at about 1:57. Interesting it was in the very first episode and in Jess Walton’s first ep @YRfan23, haha the show had come along way from Barbara Anderson thinking Brad was dead to Jill & David scheming:
  18. A temp Skip? Thanks for finding this!!!
  19. It was fine as a residential set but it was strange as office space IMO. But yes, Brittany & Raul lived there too. I think if I recall right Kevin broke into JT’s and destroyed it or something so Raul let JT move. Brittany was pissed obviously as this was right after she found JT had slept with her mother. That’s too bad. The background score for the Hall scene would be used all they way up to 1993 at the latest.
  20. I thought the idea had potential but the moment we had Billy & Phyllis on as “investigative journalists” and Amber doing a gossip column it was DOA. Didn’t they even try to launch a TV channel for Restless Style? Somewhere I saved all the Restless Style covers from 2008-2010 before they stopped doing them, haha I think I might have to dig them up now😅. That set was pretty awful with the really bizarre elevator/lift thing. I think it was a repurposed JT’s loft if I recall right. After Billy let Restless Style fold in early 2013 it became Chelsea & Chloe’s fashion house for about a year until Chloe went berserk and their company went kaput that the show finally retired the set.
  21. She made the cover of Restless Style! 😄
  22. Is it bad I remember some folks on boards(can’t remember if it was here or other boards) criticized having some “cheap newbie singer” appear on the cover of Restless Style? I think Perry had just dropped I Kissed a Girl shortly before it. But hey getting Danny Romalotti to sing for Restless Style’s grand opening party and first issue was considered a coup right? 😆 I am glad to see Katherine’s face lift get aired! Same with Jill’s first episode 😁 As for 2015 I know some would like to see Devon & Hilary again but that whole description “Neil makes amends...” What happened next is still disturbing as hell five years later and Neil never recovered from it.
  23. That was such an odd storyline I kind of even forgot it even occurred lol. This was at a time when they were still trying to expand the Baldwin/Fisher clan so they brought in Lowell/River & Eden. Both flopped, but I did like the twist of how Lowell did turn out to be a very guilt criminal after getting his charges dropped instead of the usual redemption angle of "we're changed people!" the show was pushing for every Baldwin/Fisher clan member at the time. Three or four actresses played Eden, aside from the stuff with Noah & Ricky I don't even remember what else she did now. Did we ever find out about Noah's terrible secret of what he did to Eden that caused her bulimia? I remember rumors that he raped her or sold into prostitution but I don't recall the show addressing aside from Eden forgiving Noah and giving him her blessing to chase after Hunter or whoever she was. Jana was a fun, wacky character and her and Kevin at least made sense as the town's pariah couple, much more than the dull and lifeless pairing of Kevin & Chloe that Jana was sacrificed for.
  24. Hartley was such a powerhouse in the role it is a shame that the show was so horribly written at the time, that final Adam story with the false Constance diary was a complete waste of time. Which reminds me, has Adam ever found out that Sharon basically raised Christian for the first year?
  25. I have a bad feeling of what "Popular Demand" actually means.
