  3. I know she’s been developing the Broadway show Sunset Boulevard as a film musical. Whether or not that turns out good remains to be seen. I’ve seen people compare this to Marion Cotillard beating Julie Christie, but Julie had her Oscar. Wow. Octavia is an Oscar WINNER.
  4. LOL. For those who may have missed Olivia Colman’s BRILLIANT speech:
  5. They spread the wealth tonight: I think every Best Picture nominee went home with something. I thought The Favourite might come up empty until Olivia won.
  6. Green Book was always looming, but man, this is going to upset a LOT of people. Indeed.
  7. Now that was a proper upset. Olivia Colman. Speech of the night. Poor Glenn. She’s the Susan Lucci of acting Oscars.
  8. Jaime Ray Newman (Kristina) just won the Oscar for Live Action Short for her movie Skin.
  9. That staging of “Shallow” was cool.
  10. Angela looks great too. She’s on E! right now with Courtney B. Vance.
  11. Sort of looks like Big Bird fell into a vat of rosé.
  12. Oof. What a way for Dan Evans to lose that match, on a double fault after holding three championship points and having to replay one when his ball that caught the line was called out.
