The recent (unsurprising) stories about Lea Michele’s bullying and racist microaggressions on the set of Glee made me think: which TV series have had the most dysfunctional sets? Glee certainly seemed like anarchy BTS, and the downward spirals and deaths of Cory Montieth and Mark Salling just underscored that. The recently ended Criminal Minds has revealed itself to be a cesspool of abuse and toxicity over the years. In the ‘80s, we had a constant barrage of stories about Bea Arthur vs. Betty White on The Golden Girls and Bruce Willis vs Cybill Shepherd on Moonlighting. What are some feuds or stories about BTS dysfunction that you recall? Which set seemed like the worst of all?

I’ve gone from loving Dorinda to being disgusted by her. She’s appalling.

Yeah. They set her up to fail. They could appear as if they were throwing her fans a bone by bringing MM back, but their ultimate intention is for her to slowly fade into the background and pretend like they tried to make it work before getting rid of her when they *think* no one’s looking.

He’s certainly easy on the eyes.

Question: we’ve had actors who identify as Native American (A Martinez has emphasized his Apache and Piegan heritage along with his Mexican background), but how many Native/indigenous characters have we had on daytime? I believe Kimberly Norris (now Guerrero) played a Native character on ATWT before she played Jerry’s girlfriend on Seinfeld.

I used to hate her, and she certainly never gelled with the Winters family early on, but I think she’s grown a whole lot as an actress. Enough that I actually enjoy her. She and Mishael had wonderful hate chemistry. Y&R was dumb af for killing off Hilary.
