    -Caroline begs Victor and Roman to stop the fighting while Kate tries to get Austin and Lucas to reconsider their decision. They refuse and Lucas says they are siding with Victor and Bo. Kate is stunned and tell them both how unhappy she is. She tells them sarcastically to go ahead and get themselves killed for all she cares and walks out of the pub. Roman tries to get Lucas, Austin, and Bo to reconsider but they won't. Bo says they are just doing what they have to. Belle and Claire then arrive. Caroline begs them all to stop fighting with a child around. Roman asks why Belle is there. Belle explains she is leaving town and he is the only one she has not said goodbye to. She tells Roman about Shawn leaving and her finally realizing where she belongs. Victor makes a snide remark about it being about time Belle figured it out. Roman tells him to keep his mouth shut. Belle tells Roman she has to do this and try to rebuild her life and family. Roman understands and says he will miss her. Belle says it is so hard to say goodbye. Roman embraces and says she will be fine. She is doing the right thing and he wishes her luck and hopes to see her home soon. Roman reminds her that her mother is watching over her. Caroline embraces her too and tells her to keep in touch. Roman gives Belle one more word of advice, which is to follow her heart. He urges her not to force something that may not be there as she has already caused so much problems for herself and others by making the wrong choices. Belle understands that she needs to be there for Philip right now and try to work things out but she is not going to stay with him just for the sake of him staying with him. Victor is angry. Belle promises to help him rehab and recover and then they will see where it goes. Roman and Belle say goodbye again and she takes off with Claire as Austin, Lucas, and Bo also say goodbye to her. Victor tells Roman that Belle has an obligation to Philip. Roman tells Victor that Belle will stand by Philip and will try to work things out but she won't remain in a loveless marriage. He won't let her. Victor recals a time when he thought of Roman/John as a son because of Isabella but now he just wants him to stay out of his way. Victor leaves as Lucas, Austin, and Bo follow. Bo glances over to Roman and Caroline and then leaves. Caroline asks Roman how they are going to put an end to everyone taking sides and starting a war. Roman says he will find a way. He is not just going to watch innocent people get hurt, especially his loved ones, and will not watch more people get corrupted by Victor. He is going to put an end to all of this somehow.

    -Outside the Pub, Lucas and Austin asks what happens now. Victor asks them one more time if they are having second thoughts. They both answer no. Victor tells them to meet at his mansion in the morning so they can discuss making plans to take some action against Stefano before he makes a move. Lucas and Austin agree and leave. Victor asks Bo if he has any doubts. Bo says he has none and knows he is doing the right thing.

    -Billie, Frankie, and Greta are at the Penthouse Grill and are bothered by what has happened. Giving what is happening, Frankie decides to leave. Greta agrees since things have taken an awkward turn. Billie tells them they don't have to but they think it is best. Billie tells them both good night. She begins to worry about Chelsea and, realizing it would be better to have a friend look for her to avoid any more tension between them, she calls Abby. Billie asks where she is. Abby says she is shopping at Salem Place and asks what she needs. Billie asks if she could look for Chelsea. She hasn't heard from her since morning when she ran out on her at the hospital and she can't look for her because it make things worse if her mother comes after her. Abby agrees to find her and says she will call when she has news or has found her. Billie thanks her.

    -Jack lashes out at Laura for trying to use Frankie and Greta to keep Billie and him apart. He tells Laura that Billie and him are just friends and that she has done alot for him and his family. Kate arrives and begins to overhear everything. Laura says she just doesn't think Billie is the right person to be around. He asks why and not to use her past with Kate as a reason. She mentions what Billie has done to Bo and Hope in the past. Jack says they all make mistakes and reminds Laura of the mistakes she has made in the past. Jack mentions all his mistakes and says that Billie is human. He warns Laura to back off or she will lose him, Abby, and JJ being in her life as she needs to just let them live. Jennifer would want that and Jennifer would want him enjoying himself and being with a good friend. Jack says he needs to return to his table and tells Laura that he will not warn her again. Jack goes back to Billie. Billie asks if everything is fine. Jack assures Billie that nothing like that will happen again and he will not let Lauta ruin their friendship. Billie fills him in on Frankie and Greta leaving and on her calling Abby. She admits she is worried about Chelsea. Jack comforts her and tells her it will be ok. Meanwhile, Kate grabs Laura as she is about to leave and tells her to stop messing around with her daughter's life. Laura tells her to tell her daughter to stop messing around with Jack's. Kate reminds Laura that Jack and Billie are friends and always have been. It is nothing romantic and, if it gets that far, so be it. Laura calls Kate a hypocrite as Kate always interferes with her kids and family. Kate says she is trying to change and just let her children live, even if they do make bad decisions. Laura laughs and asks how long that will last. Kate tells her to stay out of Billie's life or she will have to deal with her. Laura tells Kate to keep Billie away from Jack or both Billie and Kate will have to deal with her. Kate says this reminds her of old times when they used to be at each other's throats. Laura says some things never change and leaves as Kate says she can't let Laura get away with doing this. She tells herself she wants to change but she needs to get involved with this to put an end to Laura's scheming. She looks through her phone numbers and makes a call...to Bill Horton. She tells him there is a problem he should know about.

    -Chelsea is now walking the streets with two guys. She is letting them kiss her all over as she kisses both of them at once. She is high and is now having a beer. She tells the guys she really wants to party so why not take her someplace more private so they can get the real party started. Both men laugh and like they idea. They pick Chelsea up and carry her off. Meanwhile, Abby is seaching the docks and tries calling Chelsea's cell phone again. There is no answer and she doesn't know where else to look. She decides to try some seedy night clubs to see if Chelsea went partying because she was upset. Later, Chelsea ends up with the two guys at a motel. She throws herself onto the bed and says she is ready to have some fun.

    -Nicole is downstairs at the Salem Inn bar, recalling her fight with Eric. She decides to call Highstyle and see if there is a chance to hire a temporary CEO to fill her role for now. Meanwhile, in Eric and Nicole's suite, Eric lies on the floor unconscious. Greta arrives at the door as she wants to fix things with her and Eric since they argued earlier. She also wants to try to convince him to see the specialist. She knocks on the door and panics when she gets no answer. She asks the maid to let her in but she won't. Greta tells the maid she is a princess and even shows the maid a royal ring she wears. The maid doesn't buy it. Greta offers her $100. The maid asks for $250 and she has a deal. Greta hands it over reluctantly and says she is lucky that she is a princess. The maid opens the door and walks off with the money. Greta opens the door to see Eric lying on the floor. She runs over to him and begs him to wake up while, downstairs, Nicole speaks with her secretary. The secretary tells her that the budget is too tight as the campany is not doing well this quarter. The investors are upset and Nicole needs to make a move. Nicole realizes she will have to choose between Eric and Highstyle as she can't keep doing what she is. She decides to go upstairs and she if Eric has cooled off. She will think about the decision later. Eric wakes up and asks what Greta is doing there. She says she stopped by to make sure he wasn't mad at her after their argument and she paid the maid off to let her in. She tells Eric he needs to see the specialist. Eric refuses again and tells Greta he is getting worse. Nothing will save him now. He just wants to enjoy his final days but doesn't think he will with Nicole and him on the rocks. He tells Greta about his argument with Nicole. Greta says she is sure everything will be fine after they talk. She helps him up but he is still quite dizzy. She helps him to the bed but he is falling back on her. As a result, they both fall on the bed. Nicole notices the door open as Greta did not shut it and walks in to find Greta and Eric on the bed. The screen then fades to black and the credits roll.

    On the next Salem Lives...

    Billie to Jack: You knew just what I needed. What would I do without you?
    Nicole to Greta: I know exactly what is going on with you and Eric.
    Cassie and Max: Stop being so gloomy and have some fun.
    Max to Cassie: Why don't you just shut up and leave me the hell alone?
    Chelsea (on the bed with the guys in the motel): No!!! Stop!!! I don't want to anymore!!! Please stop!!!
    Abby: Oh no!! Chelsea...

    -Victor arrives at the pub and sees Caroline at the bar. He gives her a loving glance but decides to just keep his distance. Caroline looks on, disappointed he didn't come over but tells herself it is for the best. Victor sits with Austin and Lucas and asks why they wanted to meet with him. Lucas tells Victor that Austin and him want to join Victor's cause. They heard Bo joined and they want Carrie to be able to return to Salem and raise the baby in a safe Salem, not one with the danger of the Dimera's and others looming upon it. Victor understands their motivation but asks both of them if they know what they are getting into. Bo has police training at least but neither of them have no experience dealing with what they are about to. Lucas reminds Victor of his work with Tony a few years ago. Victor tells Lucas this is a whole different ballgame. Austin tells Victor he has reservations about it too but the only way Carrie will come home is if they clean things up so he asks Victor to just give them a chance. Victor says he can give them a chance and, if they mess up, they could get themselves killed or others. Lucas reminds Victor of how long they have all three known each other and tells him to have faith that this will work. Victor reluctantly agrees and tells both of them what he told Bo-they need to avoid and isolate themselves from their loved ones for this to work. They can't risk interference or anyone they care about getting caught in the crossfire. Kate walks in and overhears and says she will let them join Victor's side over her dead body. Austin begs Kate to stay out of it and explains his and Lucas' reasons for doing this. Kate understands but knows it is dangerous. She went through this same sort of thing when Lucas was working for Tony and when Philip became a marine. She doesn't want to deal with it again. Lucas apologizes but tells his mother she can't talk them out of it.

    -Belle and Claire arrive at Sami's apartment to say goodbye as their flight is leaving in a few hours. Sami fills her in on her confessing her lies to everyone and on her giving Lucas unoffcial custody of Will until she proves she can change for good and be worthy of having everyone she loves in her life. Belle applauds her and wishes she could be around to help. Sami understands why Belle is leaving and says they will keep in touch. She tells Belle she is sorry about Shawn. Belle says it is for the best as it was consuming their lives and making them into people they don't want to be. Sami hears someone in the hallway yelling and goes outside to check it out. It's Will, who can't seem to get his key to Lucas's apartment to work. Sami tells Will she will help him. He tells her to stay away and that he doesn't need her. He also calls her "Sami" rather then "mom." Sami reminds Will she is his mother. Will tells her she may be in name and legally but he doesn't feel that way. She has hurt him and their family so many times he wants nothing to do with her. He finally gets in the apartment and slams the door. Sami goes back into her apartment upset. Belle tells Sami to give him time and, once he realizes she is changing, it will all be ok. Sami says she hopes so and just hopes it isn't too late to change. She fears the damage she caused may be too much to get past. She also confesses she is worried about Lexie getting back at her for spilling their secret. She has lost Abe and may lose her job and Theo. Belle tells her not to worry about that and just to worry about herself and her family. If Lexie tries something, Sami should just tell someone or the police and they will take care of it. Belle suggests telling their father but Sami tells her not to go there. Sami embraces Belle. She gives Claire a kiss and wishes them good luck. Belle says it will all be fine with mom watching over them. Sami says i is good to know they have a angel up there in their corner. Belle says a final goodbye and leaves while Sami talks to the heavens and asks Marlena for continued strength as she tries to change and get through all this.

    -Roman arrives at the Pub through the back entrance and hears all the arguing. He asks Caroline what is going on. Kate comes over and tells him that Lucas and Austin are joining Victor and Bo's little rebellion. Roman tells Lucas and Austin it's a bad idea. Caroline agrees. Victor reminds everyone that it is their decision and they are big boys. Bo arrives and agrees. He tells Victor that he has been looking for him as their is something they need to discuss right now. Roman tells Bo it is wrong for him to be doing this too. He is pushing away everyone he cares about and now he is advocating Lucas and Austin to do the same and be in danger too. Victor tells Roman to stay out of it, as does Bo. Roman explains to Victor how his style will only makes things worse and lead to constant retaliation. He says he wants to protect the people he cares about but he will only be endangering all of Salem with this war and innocent people, maybe even people he loves, will get hurt. Victor tells Roman to just stay out of his way and stop interfering. Roman wanrs Victor he will not continue to stand by and watch him corrupt the people he knows and loves about. Victor tells him again to stay out of his way and let people live as they choose. Roman reminds Victor he is a cop and if Victor is partipating in illegal activity he can't stay out of it. Same goes from anyone who associates with him. Bo warns Roman to back off. Caroline tries to break the fight up. Lucas and Austin watch all this as Kate begs them not to do this. She tells them to look what all the tension and takins sides is doing to all of them. They can get Carrie back another way. Lucas tells Kate they are doing it no matter what she says. It is time they take action to protect those they love. Kate is furious and frustrated.

    -Laura arrives at the Penthouse Grill to see Jack and Billie having a good time. She tries to stay out of sight, which is made easier because Jack and Billie have a back table. Laura sees Greta at the bar and also sees Frankie finishing up a meeting with a client. She thinks she has an idea how to stop Jack and Billie before things go too far. Meanwhile, Jack and Billie are having a good time talking about movies and TV. They are happy not to be talking about their lives. Jack asks Billie if she would like to dance. Billie says she would like that. Laura hides as they hit the dance floor. She is upset to see them dancing and having fun. She makes her way over to Greta at the bar and says hello. She asks how things are. Greta says they could be better. Laura then acts surprised when she sees Jack and Billie on the dance floor. Greta mentioned going over to say hello but doesn't want to interupt. Laura says that she is sure they wouldn't mind and that they would love to see a friend. Greta changes her mind and decides to go talk to them as Jack and Billie return to their table. Laura goes to Frankie's corner table and says hello. Frankie asks what she is doing there. Laura says she just came out for a drink and once again acts surprised when she sees Jack and Billie there. Frankie recalls them asking him to join them and Laura encourages him to do so. He says his meeting is over so he may as well. He goes over. Jack and Billie are happy to see them and all four sit down and talk. Laura is pleased and hopes this separates Jack and Billie. All four are having fun when Greta mentions that they should ask Laura if she wants to join them. Jack asks what she is talking about. Frankie tells Jack that Laura is there too and mentions she is the one that told him where him and Billie were. Greta adds that Laura did the same thing for her and she thinks they should invite her over. Jack and Billie have both realized what is going on. Jack says he will be right back. Greta and Frankie ask what is going on. Billie tells them it seems Laura was using them because she doesn't want her and Jack to spend time together even though they are only friends. Greta and Frankie are stunned. Laura is near the bar trying to stay out of sight when Jack sneaks up on her and tells her the jig is up.

    -Nicole arrives at the Penthouse Grill looking for Eric. She shows a picture of Eric to the host, who tells her that he saw Eric earlier with a young woman. He points at Greta. The host says that Eric left some time ago. Nicole thanks him and wonders why he has seemed to be alot with Greta lately. She beleives Greta is simply trying to find out what Eric is hiding for her since she asked her and Sami to help her. Nicole returns to her hotel suite to find an angry Eric. Nicole explains to Eric that her business meeting went late. Eric reminds Nicole of how many times the same thing has been happening recently. Nicole tells Eric she missed alot of work and that she needs to be doing some of it as long as they are out here. She knows he wants to stay in Salem but she has a job and she needs to keep doing it since she should be in LA. Eric asks why someone can't be hired to handle things in her absence. Nicole reminds Eric that things were being handled but it has been a long time. She has been gone since May and there is no budget room to hire someone to run things while she is in Salem. Eric gets furious and tells Nicole he doesn't have much time left and he doesn't like the distance between them at the moment. Nicole asks what he means. Eric reminds Nicole how short life is and that they saw that on the island seeing so many people die, including his mom. He wants them to have a happy life together but her work is ruining everything. Nicole explains that Highstyle was given to her by Austin and is her dream job. Eric asks her about their dreams for their future. Nicole is frustrated and says she doesn't want to argue. They both need to cool down so she leaves the suite. After she leaves, Nicole realizes she may have to choose between her dream job running Highstyle or her dream life with her true love, Eric. Meanwhile, back in the hotel suite, Eric is angry and says he just wants things to be right as time is running out. He then gets bad headache and holds his head in agony as he collapses to the floor of the suite. The screen then fades to black and the credits roll.

    On the next Salem Lives...

    Belle to Roman: It's so hard saying goodbye
    Roman to Belle: I know. Come here, baby.
    Victor to Roman: This is your only warning. Interfere and you will pay the consequences.
    Jack to Laura: If you don't stop this, you are going to lose all of us.
    Billie to Abby: I need you to look for Chelsea.
    Chelsea: Why don't both of you take me somewhere so the real party can get started?
    Greta (sees Eric laying on ground): Oh my God...Eric!!!
    Nicole (opening suite door): What the hell?

    -Nicole is at a meeting with a business client. She calls LA to check in with Highstyle and is alerted by her secretary to the fact that investors aren't happy with her being away from the base of operations so long, especially since the company has actually lost money this quarter. The secretary tells Nicole something must be done or investors may pull out. Nicole checks her cell phone after her meeting ends and realizes she has a ton of messages from Eric and that she is very late for their dinner together. Nicole is feeling the pressure as she realizes her career is interfering with her relationship with Eric and vice versa.

    -Eric is at the Penthouse Grill waiting for Nicole when Greta shows up. She asks to sit down with Eric and claims she has been looking for him. She apologizes for the way they ended things when they last talked. Eric says it is forgotten already. Greta says she was looking for him for another reason and that is because she has news that may save his life. She explains that she found a specialist in Paris that may be able to help and she has him on call to fly into Salem. Eric refuses and says his case is hopeless. He has already seen enough doctors to know that and he more concerned with the fact that he feels distant from Nicole of late. She is already more then two hours late for their dinner together and she has been spending more time working lately then she has been spending with him. His time is running out and he wants to be with her. Greta says he should tell Nicole so that she is aware. Eric says he can't and she knows why. Greta tells him to at least see the specialist and give it a chance. He has nothing to lose and a miracle could happen. Eric refuses and asks Greta to stop pushing him to tell Nicole and to see doctors that won't help. Greta insists she is only trying to be a friend. Eric thanks her but says he has enough on his mind. He says he is sick of waiting for Nicole and is going home. Greta begs him to think about what she said. Eric reminds her to back off and says goodbye. Greta then places a call to the specialist and tells him to sit tight as she may still be needing his services yet. She is determined not to give up on Eric just yet.

    -Laura comes downstairs and sees Jack dressed ina tux. She tells him she never even heard him come in and asks where he went earlier. He fills her in on the big surprise and his going back to work at The Spectator. Laura is happy for him and gives most of the credit to Frankie since he was the one that called her to watch JJ while Jack was gone. Jack mentions it was Billie's idea. Laura doesn't respond. Jack begs her to lay off of Billie and give her a chance. The doorbell rings. Jack is trying to get his cuff links on and asks Laura to answer the door. She does and is upset to find Billie standing before her, dressed in a very sexy black dress. Billie says hello and asks if she can come in. Laura reluctantly lets her in. Jack greets her and says she looks great. Billie says he looks good too. Jack thanks her for the big surprise earlier. Billie says she is his friend and that is what friends are for. Jack sees Laura and realizes they should go before Laura gets on Billie's case. Jack thanks Laura for watching JJ and says he will check in at some point later. Laura lies and wishes them a good night. She then refuses to let them grow closer and decides she needs to end this before it starts. She calls Julie and asks if she can watch JJ as she has an errand to run. Meanwhile, Jack and Billie enjoy each other's company on the way to the Penthouse Grill. They laugh about JJ's little incident earlier with his oatmeal and the mess he made. Jack asks what is going on with Chelsea. Billie says she has left her tons of messages but nothing so far. She doesn't want to go out to look as it is early yet and, if she found her, Chelsea would only be more angry that Billie was not trusting her and checking up on her. Jack says they can both use this night to forget about their problems and just have fun and relax. Billie agrees and says she looks forward to a wonderful night.

    -A frustrated Steve punched the door and blames Kayla again for being the reason why didn't escape. Kayla apologizes and sees that Steve hurt his hand. She takes a look at it and tells him to stop thinking about them getting out. Someone will be looking for her at some point and they will find them. They just need to have hope. Steve says he has no hope as he has been in captivity for years in many places. No one found him until she did and now it's back to square one again. Kayla says it will be ok and urges him to take this time with her alone as an opportunity for them to work together to help him remember. She tries describing moments from their past and how he started off as a criminal named "Patch" and how they slowly found love together. She also describes their wedding when she regained her hearing and how she gave birth to Stephanie. Steve says it all sounds nice but he doesn't feel anything when she tells him all that. He says it isn't the time or place anyway as he is only focused on getting out of the cell. Kayla tells him to just focus and not think about getting out. He reminds Kayla of how many years he has been locked up compared to her half hour being in the cell with him and explains she has no clue how he feels. Kayla agrees but she knows he wants to remember his past and they can take this time together to help that along.. Steve says all he cares about right now is escaping and that he has no interest in worrying about recovering his memory right now. Kayla gets upset and then remembers her life with Steve in a montage of special moments they had set to the song "The Rose." As tears stream down Kayla's face, she realizes the man standing in front of her is not even close to the man she loved and there is a chance he may never be if she doesn't remember. Steve gets upset and starts banging on the door and yelling for someone to help in frustration as Kayla watches, wondering what she will have to do to get the man she loves back. The screen then fades to black and the credits roll.

    On the next Salem Lives...

    Laura: Ah...I think I know who I can use to put an end to this nonsense.
    Lucas to Victor: Austin and I wanted to meet with you because we want to join your cause.
    Kate: The hell you will!!!
    Sami to Will: Will, I am your mother!
    Will to Sami: You may be in name and in law but I want nothing to do with you.
    Nicole to Eric: Why are so upset about this?
    Eric to Nicole: I am upset because the clock is ticking and I don't have much time left.
    Nicole to Eric: What are you talking about?

    -Kayla is still outside Steve's cell and is in shock over finding him after all these years.

    Kayla: It's really true. You're really here...Oh...I am so sorry. I better get you out of there.
    Steve: Yeah...good idea. Who the hell is this chick?

    Kayla searches for something to help her get into the cell. She can't find anything around to help so she decides to use a bobby pin and pick the lock like Bo and Roman taught her how to do when they were younger. She gets the door open and runs into Steve's arms.

    Kayla: I have missed you so much. We all have. You don't know how long I waited for this day...a day I never thought would happen. I love you so much, Steve. Wow...I just keep on talking and you can barely get a word in.
    Steve: Yeah...uh, who are you?
    Kayla: What do you mean who am I? I'm Kayla Brady Johnson. I am your wife and the mother of your daughter, Stephanie.
    Steve: I'm sorry but I don't remember any wife or kid. I have no clue who you are.

    -Stefano arrives at the hospital. A nurse walks up to him telling him he has a phone call. He goes to the nurse's desk and takes the call. It's Cassie and she tells Stefano that Kayla has found Steve. Stefano is pleased and says that everything is going as planned. He tells Cassie to keep him up to date or to have one of his lieutenants inform him of anything that happens. Stefano then enters Lexie's room. Lexie notices that he seems happy. Stefano says he is and that she will be too. They are getting their revenge on their enemies. Lexie asks what is going on. Stefano insists she will learn in time but right now he has other news for her. He informs Lexie that he used the Dimera name and influence to push up Theo's custody hearing. Lexie is stunned and says she is not ready. Stefano insists the sooner the better and warns Lexie she may have to choose between Abe and Theo. Lexie says she already thought about that and she will choose her son. She will do whatever it takes to hold on to Theo, even if it means playing as dirty as she can. She vows to stop anyone who gets in her way. Stefano is pleased to hear this and says he will be there to help her and that he has some ideas for how they can handle the hearing. Lexie embraces him and thanks him for his support. Stefano says he will always be there for his children as long as they are there for him and the Dimera family. Lexie says she regrets ever turning her back on the family and that she may have been happier if she hadn't. She vows to stay true to her family's name and heritage now, which further pleases Stefano.

    -Celeste comes downstairs and sees how distraught Abe is. She tells Abe she put Theo to bed and, unless he needs anything else, she is going to head home. He asks her to stay and shows her some paperwork he just recieved informing him Theo's custody hearing is tomarrow. It seems they beat him to the punch as he was about to have Frankie serve Lexie. Celeste asks how that is possible. Abe says it had to be Stefano using his influence to push up the date. Abe knows he is going to lose Theo as Stefano is corrupting Lexie yet again and they will play dirty. Celeste admits she had a vision of more pain and suffering coming the way of many in Salem. Abe asks if he is one of those who will suffer more pain. Celeste clams up but Abe urges her to tell him as she has always been right. He wants to know. Celeste admits she saw him in her vision and he seemed like a broken man. Abe says he is going upstairs to see Theo. Celeste reminds him that Theo is sleeping. Abe explains that he wants to be with him as this could be their last night together. He tells Celeste goodnight and goes upstairs. Celeste gets her purse and looks at a picture of Lexie, Theo, and Abe as she leaves. She asks why this has to happen and prays that Lexie will come to her senses and not let things go too far since Abe does not deserve to lose his son, just like she doesn't deserve to.

    -Billie and Frankie drive her car, with Jack having the garbage bag over his head in the back seat. Jack moans and groans and complains he can't be breathe. Frankie tears a hole in the front of the bag. Jack is able to see and is shocked to see Billie and Frankie. He asks why they put the bag over his head and what is going on. Billie explains it was a setup and that she called Laura to watch JJ. They have a surprise for him. Billie tells Frankie they are there. Frankie reverses the bag so Jack can't see anything as Billie pulls over. They drag a kicking and screaming Jack into a skycraper-like building. They bring Jack up to a dark office space. They take the bag off his head. Jack asks what is going on. The lights then go off and Jack is stunned to find himself at The Spectator. Jack asks Billie and Frankie what is going on. They tell him to go into the editor's office.

    -Jack goes in to find Harold and Vern waiting for him. Jack shares a friendly hug with both of them and asks what is going on. Billie and Frankie thank Vern and Harold for their help. Vern explains that Billie called him and Harold and made it known that Jack was bored and actually baking. Harold explains they knew Jack was lost when he was actually baking cookies. Vern then says that Billie informed him that Jack was ready to go to work and just felt like The Spectator was the only place. Turns out the editor in chief job is still open so that is where the surprise idea developed. Harold tells Jack that he can't handle being the editor in chief so that is why he offered Jack the job a few weeks ago and he was unable to find anyone. Vern, who is a special advisor to the paper, has been helping him along but Harold just wants to write and report. Vern explains that the job and office is Jack's if he wants it. Jack looks around and sees a special plaque honoring Jennifer on the wall of the office. Billie explains that the plaque was in the main office but they felt it would make the office perfect for him. He says it does and that they thought of everything. He thanks them all and says it is all exactly as he wants it. Harold takes that to mean he is taking the job. Jack excitedly says he is taking it. It is what Jennifer would want and it is where he should be. Plus, he needs to provide for his family. Jack embraces Vern and Harold and thanks them as they leave to make some preparations for Jack officially returning to the paper. He also thanks and hugs Billie and Frankie. Frankie insists it was all Billie's idea. Jack playfully kisses Billie several times on her face and shakes her as he hugs her. He says he doesn't know where he would be without her. She says he has always been there for her, especially recently, so it's part of being a friend. She says he owes her though. He says he will pay her back for this and thanks her and Frankie for everything. He wants to go out on the town to celebrate with both of them. He suggests the Penthouse Grill. Frankie says he has a meeting with a client there so perhaps he will meet them later. Billie accepts the offer and thinks it will be fun to keep both their minds off everything and to just let loose as friends. Jack agrees. Billie says she will need to check in on Chelsea and she if she can track her down during the night. Jack understands. They both go their separate ways to change and Jack asks her to meet him at his house so they can go from there. Billie agrees. When everyone leaves, Jack sits in his office and looks at Jennifer's plaque of honor. He tells Jennifer he will dedicate everything he does while back at The Spectator to her and will continue to do his best to make her proud.

    -Kayla is stunned by Steve not remembering her. Steve explains he only remembers his years in captivity. His first memory is of waking up in the tropics in some sort of island compoung and, from that point on, it's has been one cell or dungeon after another. Kayla says she knows as she talked to someone named Patrick who worked for Stefano Dimera and he explained everything to her. It was he who led her to finding him. Kayla realizes Stefano must have had his memory erased but then is reminded that Lawrence Alamain was behind Steve's "death" plot. Steve recognizes the name Alamain and says that he heard two guards early on in his captivity say that he was the one who wiped his memory by way of some sort of drug. He also remembers Alamain turning him over to Stefano Dimera. Kayla explains that Lawrence did that so Carly, the woman he loves, wouldn't find out that he faked Steve's death to get revenge. He figured by giving Steve to Stefano he would have the best of both worlds as Steve would suffer and be used to cause pain for the Brady's and he would still hold on to Carly. Steve can't beleive he is at the center of all this. He mentions how he hasn't had a single memory in all his years in captivity. Kayla says she will work with him and they will get through this. She will help him recover his memory. She is a doctor and with him being around her and other familiar faces, it should return to him quickly. Steve isn't so sure and is sick of talking. He says they are wasting time and need to leave before the guards return. Kayla agrees and apologizes. She was in so much shock and just had so many questions. Steve says they will talk later but now they need to leave. They turn to exit the cell when they come face to face with two masked guards. They close the cell door, locking Steve and Kayla in together. Steve can't beleive he missed his chance to escape and blames it on Kayla and all her talking and wasting time. Kayla says she couldn't help it as finding her presumed dead husband after 16 years is kind of a shock. She realizes how easy it was to get into the area where Steve was and figures this could've all been a trap. She wonders if Patrick was even in on it and set her up. Steve says it doesn't matter as they are both trapped together in a place that no one will find. He paces back and forth frustrated as Kayla thinks about everything they have to face. She tells Steve they will find a way out or someone will come looking for her after awhile as people will wonder where she is. Steve hopes so because people looking for her maybe their only shot. Kayla agrees and says that, in the meantime, she is going to help him reocover his memories and isn't going to give up until she does. Steve doesn't seem confident she can but Kayla is and vows to do whatever it takes to make things they way they should be. The screen then fades to black and the credits roll.

    Salem Lives Insider: Week of 10/1/06 Edition





    KAYLA AND STEVE: REUNITED!!!!



    The event fans have waited years for takes place this week on Salem Lives when Steve and Kayla are finally reunited. "It is beautiful, emotional, and very true to character," promises HW Tim Lowery. "We have Kayla crying and Steve being his normal self. I don't want to spoit it because I feel this is a huge occasion so fans will just have to wait and see how this unfolds." Not all is ok though-Steve has no memory of Kayla or his life in Salem and Kayla learns she has walked into a trap and is now being held captive as well. "That is what I meant by Steve acting like himself," laughs Lowery. "He remembers his years of captivity and who held him but nothing about his life before his presumed death. As to how he lost his memories and his captive years, the fans will just have to pay attention this week for answers to those questions." Kayla immediately begins to work on Steve and starts bringing up moments from their past together. "It's like a mile a minute with her," laughs Lowery. "She just brings up memory after memory. There are some great flashbacks but it does nothing for Steve. In fact, it has the opposite effect and causes friction between them. Steve just wants to find a way out of the cell and Kayla is actually happy they are trapped as it gives her the opportunity to work on him in regards to his memory." By week's end, Steve lashes out at Kayla and it becomes apparent to her that the man standing in front of her is not her husband. "She realizes that it is him but only in body," points out Lowery. "She knows she has a fight ahead of her."

    JACK AND BILLIE: GETTING "JILLIE" WITH IT!!!



    Jack and Billie grow closer as they enjoy a night on the town this week on Salem Lives but, little do they know, someone is out to spoil their fun. The week begins with Billie and Frankie dragging Jack off to a mysterious location. "Billie and Frankie know that Jack is ready to move on and is bored so they conspire together on some sort of surprise," recaps HW Tim Lowery. "They stick him in a garbage bag and drag him off. It really is hilarious because Jack is moaning and groaning the whole time and is screaming while Billie and Frankie just keep moving." Jack is dragged into a dark building where Billie and Frankie take the bag off of him an turn on the lights to reveal...The Spectator. "Billie knew he wanted to go back there but had turned down the job previously," points out Lowery. "Harold and Vern are there and they offer Jack the editor in chief job and he accepts. There is a plaque honoring Jennifer in Jack's office and it is all just like he would want it. He is all over Billie-thanking her, kissing her in a friendly way." Jack then decides he wants to celebrate so he asks Billie and Frankie to out on the town. Frankie is busy but Billie accepts. Jack returns home and that is where things get ugly. "Billie arrives to meet Jack and is dressed to impress," previews Lowery. "Laura is there and is clearly bothered but knows speaking out will only turn Jack against her and closer to Billie. She keeps quiet and just wishes they have a good time." Unbeknowst to Jack and Billie, Laura drops JJ off with Doug and Julie and makes a beeline for the Penthouse Grill after she tracks them down. "Laura arrives there and sees that Frankie is there meeting with a client and that Greta is there," points out Lowery. "She gets this bright idea knowing that Jack and Greta had a history and that Frankie is single and, before you know it, Laura is convincing both Frankie and Greta to visit with Jack and Billie in hopes that it will stop anything before it starts." The plan then backfires on Laura when Greta mentions that they should invite Laura over to join them. "Jack is puzzled by this and immediately understands what is going on at that point, " says Lowery. "The others figure out what is happening too as Jack takes Laura aside and tears into her for interfering." By week's end, Jack is the least of Laura's concern as she will then have to deal with an old rival who is not too happy about Laura's little scheme-Kate Roberts. "That is when things really heat up," teases Lowery.

    Ryan Scott (Harold Wentworth): Scott returns in scenes with Jack (Matthew Ashford), Billie (Julie Pinson), Frankie (Billy Warlock), and Vern (Wayne Heffley) on October 2.

    Wayne Heffley (Vern Scofield): The actor returns for a one day apperance on October 2 (see above for more info).

    Martha Madison (Belle Brady-Kiriakis): As previously reported, Madison begins a 6-8 week hiatus on October 5.

    Ava and Olivia White (Claire Kiriakis): Baby Claire leaves with her mother on October 5.

    Rumor Mill/Grapevine

    -The role of Cal/faux Roman's psychiatrist has been cast. Expect an announcement this week.
    -Expect the Greta/Eric/Nicole story to heat up in the coming weeks.
    -There is big movement on the Carrie/Alan front coming up but expect Alan to play more of a role in the coming weeks initially then his pregnant roommate.
    -As previously mentioned, some Horton's are on the way back along with someone else who was very close to a Horton and to another popular Salem heroine.

    Act 1

    Scene 1: Abby's bedroom.

    Abby is listening to her IPOD and recalling seeing Cassie and Max dancing on TV.

    Abby: What are you looking for Max? What does she have that I don't?

    Scene 2: Deveraux Living Room

    Laura: I never thought I would see the day when Jack Deveraux would be baking cookies.
    Jack: Well, JJ loves them and so does Abby. They are nowhere close to how Jennifer used to...
    Laura: It's ok, Jack. I know what's you mean. We all miss my daughter. Everyday I think about how her life was cut short and how she was unfairly taken from her family.
    Jack: Yeah...well, let's not dwell on that. Back to the cookies. Grandma Horton gave Jennifer the recipe so if the cookies leave alot to be desired I guess I will just to give dear old Alice a call.
    Laura (laughing): I guess so.

    Doorbell rings.

    Jack: I will get that.

    Jack runs over to answer the door. He opens it to find Billie waiting for him.

    Jack: Billie! Good to see ya. Come on in.
    Billie: Well, thank you. Nice to you too pal.

    Laura turns around as Billie enters the living room.

    Billie: Hi, Laura.
    Laura: Billie.
    Jack: Detecting major tension...
    Billie: Maybe it is a bad time.
    Jack: No! No, it's fine. Please stay.
    Laura: Actually, it is a bad time.
    Jack: No it isn't and I am sick of this. Billie is a friend and if you can't deal with that then don't let the door hit you on the way out.

    Scene 3: Outside Deveraux Home.

    Frankie is pacing outside the garage when Max walks up behind him.

    Max: Hey, bro. You wanted to see me.
    Frankie: Yeah...
    Max: Well, spit it out. I have to get back to the garage. Why did you want to see me?
    Frankie: It's about your little televised dance with Cassie yesterday. What the hell are you thinking Max?

    Scene 4: Dimera Living Room

    Stefano is at his chess board, brandi glass in hand. Cassie walks in.

    Cassie: Hey, grandpa. What's ya doing?
    Stefano: First off, it's grandfather my dear. Secondly, not much. I am waiting for an update on Kayla Johnson's escapades in Austrailia.
    Cassie: Has she fallen into the trap yet?
    Stefano: I have not been informed of that yet. All I know is she was closing in on finding what she is looking for. Little does she know that finding her beloved will lead her to even more pain for herself and all those she loves (laughs) .

    Scene 5: Austrailia-secret tunnels.

    Kayla is navigating through the tunnels, flashlight in hand.

    Kayla: I have been looking for hours and still nothing. I can't lose hope. This is the only place he can be in. Well, it is the Dimera's. They may have him on some uncharted island or maybe I am just on a wild goose chase. Patrick could've played me. Enough...I have to think positive.

    Kayla hears a noise and turns around.

    Kayla: Is someone there?

    Salem Lives logo appears as theme plays.

    Act 2

    Scene 1: Dimera Living Room.

    Cassie: So, what happens after we get through all this Kayla junk?
    Stefano: Cassie, Cassie. The english...I know those of the young generation have a distinct language but you are a Dimera. Please talk like it.
    Cassie: Whatever...
    Stefano: Lovely. Now to answer your question...well, we will discuss that further as we go along.
    Cassie: Well, why not now?
    Stefano: Well, I want to make sure everything goes properly first. I don't want to be one to get ahead of ourselves. I am just pleased that the Dimera's are truly rising again in Salem and we will have our revenge.
    Cassie: Yes and I am happy to be a part of it.

    Stefano pours Cassie a drink.

    Stefano: To the future of the Dimera family and to the glorious revenge that we will have on our enemies.
    Cassie: I think I will toast to that (laughs).

    Scene 2: Australia-secret tunnels.

    Kayla: Is someone there?

    Kayla looks around.

    Kayla: Guess not...well, better keep going. I don't have time to waste.

    A mysterious, gloved figure watches from the shadows and follows closely behind as Kayla continues on in her search.

    Act 3

    Scene 1: Seedy Nightclub On West Side of Salem.

    Chelsea walks around and observes the seductive dancing, drug use, and excessive drinking. She walks up to the bar.

    Bartender: What can I do you for?
    Chelsea: Give me whatever you got. I am here to have an unforgettable night.
    Bartender: I will need some ID.
    Chelsea: Can't we just forget the ID...only just this once?
    Bartender: How old are you?
    Chelsea: Take a look at my ID (hands over ID).
    Bartender: Keep this on the down low.
    Chelsea: Sure thing.
    Bartender: Alright, what do you want?
    Chelsea: Hmm...surprise me and do keep em coming.
    Bartender: Look...I am bending the rules enough so you will get however much I am willing to give.
    Chelsea: Fine. Damn...drugs are all over the place here and this guy is worried about giving alcohol to a minor. Oh well, I guess I will just have to indulge in other things.
    Bartender: What was that?
    Chelsea: Nothing...just work on my drink.

    Scene 2: Deveraux Living Room.

    Laura: I am sorry Jack. I will just leave.
    Jack: Laura...you and I have always been close and your my mother in law. You are always welcome here but you have to lay off of Billie. She is a friend to me and was a friend to Jennifer.
    Laura: I know and...
    Jack: Just promise me you will let this go. It is unnecessary and only causes problems that none of us need.
    Laura: Fine. I have to be going anyway...lots to do.

    Laura hugs Jack.

    Laura: I will see you soon and give my love to Abby and Frankie. Oh...give my adorable grandson a kiss too.
    Jack: I will. Bye Laura.

    Laura leaves.

    Jack: I am so sorry about that.
    Billie: It's ok, Jack. Besides, we already discussed this and we know why she hates me. I am Kate Roberts' daughter and she is just being protective of you given your history and you being her son in law. I understand and I think she will get over it after awhile.
    Jack: I hope so. So...how are you doing? You look kind of...well, not very relaxed.
    Billie: Yeah...it's Chelsea.
    Jack: What's happened now?
    Billie: Oh just the typical rape victim pushing those closest to her away behavior. You know...the thing that is unhealthy yet nearly every rape victim does it. I don't know why I thought Chelsea would open up to me and let me help her deal with this. She has lost so much in her life and has been through hell the last few months. She is in a bad place Jack and she is going back to her destructive ways again. She ran out on me at the hospital and was off to party.
    Jack: Do you want to go look for her?
    Billie: No. Besides, I have no idea where to look and it would only make things worse if we find her. My worst fear is that she will head down the road I took when I was young. I don't want her going through what I did.

    Abby comes down the stairs.

    Abby: Daddy, I'm going out.
    Jack: Oh...ok. Where?
    Abby: Just to Salem Place. I have my cell.
    Jack: Ok. Just be careful.
    Abby: I will. Love you daddy

    Abby and Jack embrace. He kisses her on the cheek.

    Billie: Oh, Abby. Have you seen or heard from Chelsea within the last few hours?
    Abby: No. Why?
    Billie: Well, she ran out on me at the hospital and said she going to party somewhere so I just wanted to know if you had any idea where she was.
    Abby: No. Sorry but I will let you know if she calls. As far as I know, there is nothing going on school-related but things can happen fast. I will see you guys later.
    Jack: Bye Abigail.
    Billie: Bye Abby.
    Jack: She will be fine Billie.
    Billie: I hope you are right. I really do.

    Scene 3: Outside Deveraux House.

    Max: What about it?
    Frankie: Why are you hanging around Cassie Dimera?
    Max: Well, I had a few drinks and I was upset about Chelsea alright. Besides, what is the big deal? cassie just happened to be there and she was helping me forget my troubles. I thought she was still a friend to the family since she thought she was a Brady up until a few weeks ago?
    Frankie: It's just that she is a Dimera and with everything going on it is best to try to avoid unnecessary contact. Cassie is a girl who goes with what is best for her from my knowledge so it wouldn't surprise me if she is buttering up to Stefano. The Brady's need to be on guard. We all do. Now...I heard about what happened with Chelsea and you from Abby. I am really sorry. I wish you hadn't went on a drinking binge.
    Max: It wasn't a binge. I had one too many.
    Frankie: Whatever. Look....it seems Abby saw you on TV when she was visiting Chelsea and that is the other thing I want to talk to you about.
    Max: Well, I am glad Chelsea saw it.
    Frankie: You aren't seriously hoping she was jealous? Max, the last thing on her mind right now is you. The girl is in a bad place so...
    Max: Your right. Sorry. I guess I am just upset because...
    Frankie: She broke up with you. Give her time. She has been through alot.
    Max: Yeah.
    Frankie: Now back to Abby.
    Max: What about her?
    Frankie: She saw this, Max. I shouldn't tell you this but I feel like I have to. Abby likes you Max. She likes you alot. You two spent alot of time together recently and went through alot together. Now, from what I observed, she has been miserable since yesterday so I assume she did see you on TV.
    Max: You don't know that.
    Frankie: Safe bet. Abby is going through alot too and you were the one thing that seemed to get her through losing her mother and Josh. You need to get things straight with her and let her know where your relationship is going before she gets hurt. If you are not on the same page as her, then you need to talk to her and explain what is going on and what you are looking for because, mark my words, if Abby gets hurt, I will not be happy and I will be the least of your worries compared to Jack.
    Max: Alright...I understand. So...your saying she likes me? I mean, really likes me?
    Frankie: Yeah.

    Abby walks into the backyard.

    Abby: Sorry to interupt but I was wondering if either of you saw my red sweater in the garage?
    Frankie: Yeah, it's right on the top of the steel self when you walk in.
    Abby: Thanks.
    Max: Hey, Abby!!
    Abby: Yeah.
    Max: We need to talk.
    Abby: You know what? Yeah. I think we do.

    Salem Lives halfway theme.

    Act 4

    Scene 1: Dimera Living Room

    Stefano enters the room.

    Cassie: Where did you go?
    Stefano: To check on Kayla's progress.
    Cassie: And?
    Stefano: She is not there yet but she is close. We will be informed as soon as the operation is complete.
    Cassie: What if something goes wrong?
    Stefano: Nothing will go wrong. Dimera's think positive, my dear.
    Cassie: Still...what if?
    Stefano: Then we just figure out something else. If this does somehow fail, then we may need to go to extreme measures to get things where we need them.
    Cassie: Like?
    Stefano: Haha. Lots of questions. Patience. It most likely will not come to that. I am sure the plan will succeed so actions like that won't even be needed. Besides, I would prefer to handle things this way. Much neater (laughs)

    Scene 2: Austrailia-secret tunnels.

    Kayla is still moving through the tunnels.

    Kayla: I feel like I am going in circles. I am probably not even close. This is hopeless.

    Kayla looks around for something to give her hope. Something then catches her eye. It is a loose brick in the wall.

    Kayla: Now what do we have here?

    Kayla pushes it further out and the wall opens to reveal a staircase going upward.

    Kayla: Perhaps I just found what I am looking for.

    Kayla begins to make her way up the staircase as the mysterious figure follows close behind.

    Act 5

    Scene 1: Outside Deveraux House.

    Frankie: I will leave you two alone.
    Abby: Thanks Frankie.

    Frankie leaves.

    Abby: Well, you go first.
    Max: You sure?
    Abby: Yeah...go ahead.

    They both sit down on the picnic table.

    Max: Something has come to my attention and I just feel I need to set the record straight. You know that I am going through a rough time right now.
    Abby: Yeah, I know. The whole Chelsea thing. That isn't your fault Max.
    Max: Well, I should've known something was up with her all summer. I know her better then that. There was no way she would just push me away for no reason unless she was trying to make me jealous and she wasn't. She wasn't even around another guy so that should've been a red flag.
    Abby: There was no way for you to know.
    Max: I fell in love with her. I should've known. I just broke things off with her because I was selfish and didn't want to waste my time trying to figure out what was going on. I was expecting her to just tell me. Going through what she did...how could I be so stupid? Then I go to her after learning what happened and expect her to let me be there for her when she just had the same thing happen to her again. She has been through one horrible ordeal after another and I wasn't there.
    Abby: Max...most of the summer we were stuck on an island.
    Max: Yeah but I could've done more once we got back to Salem but I didn't. I am having trouble dealing with that Abby and dealing with losing her.
    Abby: There still may be...
    Max: No. It's over. It will never be right and I would never want to be back with her. I abandoned her when she needed me most so I deserve to lose her. The whole thing made me realize that I am probably not ready for any relationship right now.
    Abby: I see...
    Max: That is what I need to talk to you about. Look...Abby. You are awesome and you have been a good friend to me. We went through alot this summer from the island to you comforting me over Chelsea.
    Abby: You did alot for me too. You saved my life and nearly died and you were there for me on the island and during my mother's death. I am glad we had each other.
    Max: So am I. Anyway, I think things may have...I think that...
    Abby: Frankie told you didn't he?
    Max: Uh...
    Abby: I'm not mad. I am happy he did. If he didn't, we may never have talked about all this.
    Max: Yeah, I suppose not. Abby, you are great and I want to always be friends but I can't promise you anything more. I'm sorry if you thought something more was happening here...
    Abby: Well, after seeing what I did yesterday, I already began to have doubts...
    Max: I am sorry you saw that. I didn't realize it was on TV and I was a little...
    Abby: Drunk?
    Max: Yeah and Cassie was there. I was in a bad place and I still am. It wouldn't be fair to you Abby or any other girl if I started a relationship right now. I am not really good for anyone and I don't want you to waste your time when I am a headcase right now. There are plenty of other guys out there just waiting for someone like you. Look (takes her hand) ...it's not you. You are great. It's me. I can't do this again right now. I need to just live and...I don't know. I guess see what is out there. I can't have anything tying me down so maybe it is best what happened as I can enjoy my life and do my own thing for a bit. You get what I'm saying?
    Abby: Yeah. Sure.
    Max: Wow...you are taking this better then I...
    Abby: Can I ask you something?
    Max: Yeah.
    Abby: What do Cassie and Chelsea have that I don't?

    Scene 2: Deveraux House

    Billie: Well, enough about me. How are doing?
    Jack: Getting by like I have been. A little bored.
    Billie: Well, how about going back to work? You seem ready.
    Jack: I am but...
    Billie: You don't know where to go. How about The Spectator? You love it there.
    Jack: Well, Harold called a few weeks ago offering me the editor in chief position but I wasn't ready. There are so many memories for Jennifer and I there...it was too soon then. I turned it down and someone had to take the position by now.
    Billie: Well, it can't hurt to look into it or check out other newspapers. It would be a nice homage to Jennifer if you were to go back to The Spectator.
    Jack: Yeah it would, I guess. I have plenty of time to look and I am sure The Spectator job is gone. Oops...those cookies should be done. Be right back.

    Jack runs out of the room and into the kitchen. Frankie enters the living room.

    Frankie: Hey, Billie.
    Billie: Hi, Frankie.
    Frankie: Everything ok?
    Billie: Best it can be I guess.
    Frankie: Oh...where's Jack?
    Billie: Taking the cookies out of the oven. Never thought you would see him baking huh?
    Frankie: Grilling, yes. Baking, no (they both laugh). Well, I have noticed he has been a little bored lately. I mean, he is ready to move on but it seems he doesn't know what to do.
    Billie: Yeah.
    Frankie: You know, we need to help. We really do need to do something about Jack.
    Billie: I agree and I think I have an idea.

    Act 6

    Scene 1: Seedy Nightclub on Salem's West Side

    Chelsea: It is so great that a place like this is open this early. I will have to stop in more often.
    Man: Hey, there.
    Chelsea: Hey.
    Man: You look like a girl looking for a good time.
    Chelsea: You bet your ass I am. The drinking thing just isn't working well so I am looking for other options.
    Man: Well, how about this?

    The man holds out exctasy in his hand. Chelsea looks at it and takes it.

    Chelsea: That will do quite nicely, I think.

    Scene 2: Deveraux House.

    Jack returns to living room.

    Jack: Cookies are done!! Hey, where is everyone? Billie?

    Jack sees a note on the desk

    Jack: Ok...so Billie wants me to meet her at Salem Place in an hour. Why couldn't see just pop into the kitchen and tell me that? I realize I was gone for a long time an it took longer then...whatever. I need to call a... (doorbell rings)

    Jack walks over and opens the door.

    Jack: Laura! Back so soon?
    Laura: Frankie called me and said you needed someone to watch JJ so here I am.
    Jack: What the...?
    Laura: Something wrong?
    Jack: No...thanks. Yeah...I have to get out of here. Call me if he is any trouble.
    Laura: Sure. Hey, Jack...

    The door slams.

    Laura: ...where are you going?

    Jack is walking to his car.

    Jack: I would like to know what the hell is going on. I guess I will find out soon en...argh.

    Frankie and Billie put a garbage bag over Jack's head and throw him in Billie's car. They then high-five each other.

    Jack: What is going...let me out!!!
    Frankie: Got him!
    Billie: Now let's get going.
    Jack: Let me out. This better be a new garbage bag!!

    Scene 3: Outside Deveraux House.

    Abby: Forget it. Never should've asked.
    Max: No. Look I already explained Cassie. That was nothing. As for Chelsea, I don't know. I guess we both grew up with difficult childhoods by missing out on knowing our real parents. I guess I liked to look into her eyes and see a vulnerability there. I can't explain it...I don't know. I already told you Abby it isn't you...
    Abby: You know what? It's fine. I never should've asked. I understand Max. Let's just drop it.
    Max: You are wonderful Abby. Any guy would be lucky to have you.
    Abby: Yeah. I will end up with some nice guy that goes to church every Sunday or flosses or even ends up being wealthy or at least well-off...someone who is so perfect there is no excitement.
    Max: You don't know...
    Abby: Yeah I do. It's my luck. What I saw in you Max...it was special. There is so much about you...you have flaws and you are human. You are not someone who has everything going for him and...you know what? Forget it. I can't do this. What the...?
    Max: It sounds like screaming.
    Abby: Don't hear it anymore...must have been a cat in the trash again. Anyway, we talked and I know where we stand.
    Max: Abby, you were going to say something.
    Abby: No, I am done. I have things to do so see you around.
    Max: Bye. I'm sorry Abby. I really am.

    Abby goes to get her sweater in the garage. She is shaking and knocks everything off the shelf.

    Abby: Damnit Max. Damnit...why not me?!!! Why?

    Abby leans against the wall and breaks down in tears.

    Scene 3: Dimera Living Room

    Stefano hangs up the phone and re-joins Cassie in the living room.

    Stefano: It will be happening any moment now, my dear.
    Cassie: Really? Cool.
    Stefano: Indeed. I knew that Kayla would fall right into the trap. The groundwork has now been laid. Our revenge has officially begun.

    Stefano and Cassie laugh.

    Scene 4: Australia: Secret Tunnels.

    Kayla makes her way up the stairs and finds herself in a dark corridor. She slowly walks down it. She hears someone talking behind the door of a room. She stops to listen.

    Kayla: It sounds like a man. Could it be this easy? Only one way to find out.

    Kayla reaches for the door knob and is surprised when it opens without trouble.

    Kayla: Not even a lock? Strange...

    She enters a dark, chilly room, She notices what it appears to be closed cell ahead of her. There is a little window on the door to the cell that has bars. She walks over to it.

    Kayla: I don't hear the voice any...
    Man: Is someone there?
    Kayla: That voice...that is the voice I heard. It sounds...
    Man: Is someone there? Speak!!!

    Kayla walks over to the mini-window on the cell door and looks in to see a man in the dark. He turns to look at her. She seems stunned when the man walks out of the dark shadows.

    Man: Man...Yes!!! Finally someone has found this hellhole. I thought no one would ever come.
    Kayla (tears in her eyes): Oh my God...
    Man: What? What is it? Why are you staring at me like that, woman?!!
    Kayla: It's...true. It's really...right in front of me. It's really you. Your here!!!
    Man: What...?
    Kayla (in tears and desperately holding on the window bars): Oh my God!!! Steve!!! Your here. I found you!!! I dreamed about this for years but I never though....Steve!!! You've come back to me!!! You've come back to me!!!

    The screen then fades to black and the credits roll.

    -Julie and Laura are both on the phone. Doug asks Alice if she really thinks this will plan will work if they can get everything set. Alice thinks it will help Maggie at the very least. Laura gets off and says she has good news. Julie hangs up and says she has good news as well. They've did it and everything is in place. Alice and Doug are happy as well. Julie says they should be arriving very soon and, once they do, they just have to set up a meeting with Maggie. Laura just hopes this doesn't overwhelm Maggie or make matters worse. Alice says they just need to have faith it will all work out in the end and that this will be the thing that brings, or leads, to Maggie getting better and allowing her family and friends to be there for her.

    -Bo and Victor are having breakfast in the living room of Victor's mansion. Victor asks Bo if he slept well. Bo says as well as he could given what happened the last time he saw Hope and with everything else going on. Victor reminds Bo that if he wants to do this he needs to get used to having to push those he cares about most away. It is the only way to make all this work and keep them safe. Victor says he has to go meet with Kate and says they will talk later. Maggie comes downstairs. Victor asks how she slept. Maggie says it was the first full night she has slept. She still woke up a few times thinking about Mickey but she didn't think about a drink or didn't feel guilty about Mickey. She tells Victor that maybe it's the fact the mansion doesn't have the memories and she reminds Victor that being with him just makes her so calm and comfortable. Victor is pleased and says they will talk later.

    -Maggie sees Bo and remembers Hope asking her for help. She says hello to Bo and says that the mansion is becoming a full house. Bo laughs and agrees. He asks how she is doing. She says she is much better being in a place with no memories and being with Victor, who is the only thing that seems to make her feel good at this point. Bo warns Maggie about growing too dependent on Victor and reminds her of why she pushed Victor away a few weeks ago. Maggie says she was wrong to do that. Victor and her are friends and they have been there for each other through alot. She will be sure to not grow too dependent but she needs to do what is best right now and being with Victor in his house feels right and is what she needs right now. She just can't be alone and in her house. Bo says she is not alone and has her family. Maggie says she can't be around them because then the memories and guilt overwhelm her. She reminds Bo of his family too. She asks Bo if he is sure he is doing the right thing by moving in with Victor and taking the law into his own hands. Bo says he needs to do what is best for his loved ones and he just can't stand by anymore and watch them suffer. Something needs to be done. Maggie asks how far Victor and him are going to go. Bo says they will do what they need to do. Maggie seems pleased with Bo's words, which stuns Bo. Bo says he is shocked Maggie agrees with what he said. Maggie admits that she knows where Bo and Victor are coming from and that she wants Stefano and everyone involved with that island to pay. She lost Mickey and Jennifer, Marlena, and Bonnie all died as well. Carrie disappeared and now won't come home because she feels it isn't safe. Something needs to be done and she agrees with Bo-the system isn't going to do it. Bo is glad she sees it that way. Maggie says maybe it will even make her feel better seeing some punishment for what happened to Mickey and the others and all the other bad things the Dimera's and Ernesto did in the past. Maggie goes to the kitchen to get more food for breakfast. While alone, Bo is happy that Maggie agreed with him and admits having doubts until hearing Maggie. Now he knows he is doing what is right for all those he cares about.

    -Nicole and Eric are sharing a hot, steamy shower when there is a knock on their hotel suite door. They get dressed. Eric answers to find Belle with Claire, who says she has come over to say goodbye. Belle explains that Shawn has left and she needs to go where she truly belongs-with her husband and the father of her child. Eric agrees and embraces her saying he will miss her. Nicole wishes Belle luck and tells her to tell Philip she is thinking about him. She always kinda liked him from her time with Victor despite them hating each other most of the time. Belle thanks them both and wishes them well. She hopes Eric will be around when she returns with Philip. Eric says he hopes so too. They leave. Nicole realizes how late it is and says that a investor with Highstyle is flying in to Salem to meet with her today. She begins to get dressed. She needs to meet him in an hour. Eric is surprised she is working. Nicole explains she has missed too much work and that she will be basing herself out of Salem until things settle down and Eric and her decide what they are going to do. Eric says they are staying in Salem for now. Nicole says they can discuss the matter sometime soon but she needs to go. She leaves.

    -Eric gets another headache and nearly collapses. There is another knock on the door. It's Greta and she can see Eric is suffering. She tells Eric that he needs to tell Nicole and his family. Eric wants no pity and doesn't want a long, drawn out goodbye. He just wants to enjoy his final days living a normal life. Greta reminds Eric that he may not die. Eric says that his recent tests were not promising and he does not want chemo so he is out of luck. Greta says she has researched several specialists. Eric says he doesn't want any. Greta asks Eric if he wants to die. Eric denies that but says it is hopeless. He has heard for months that it is hopeless. Greta asks him what will happen when he collapses in front of Nicole or someone else and they find out too. They are going to be so mad at him and he will spend his final days dealing with disappointment and regret. His family and friends deserve to know so they can say goodbye. He tells Greta he wants it this way and that he wants to be alone. He asks her to leave and again asks that she keeps what she knows to herself. Greta says she will even though she hates it. Greta leaves as Eric gets another headache and wonders to himself how much time he has left.

    -Victor meets with Kate at the Brady Pub. Kate just wanted to discuss Philip's progress. He has not woke up yet but the doctor's beleive it will be any day now. Belle overhears and apologizes for interupting. She saw them both and felt that she needed to inform them of something they will be happy about. She is going to San Francisco with Claire to be with Philip. She admits she was wrong and that she belongs there. Victor asks Belle why it took Shawn leaving to get Belle to admit her mistake and to go to Philip. Belle says that Shawn leaving was a wake up call to her mistake and to her actions, which were appalling. She just hopes that some day they will both understand that she loved Shawn with all her heart and that she loves Philip too. It will take her a long time to get over Shawn but she is going to do what she can to make her marriage work because she does love Philip and she knows he will need her. It was and is a complicated matter but she hopes they can all get past this and forgive each other. Victor hopes so too and says that Belle has alot to prove to them. Kate agrees and warns Belle she will have her to deal with if she ever hurts Philip again. Belle understands. Kate and Victor kiss Claire and say goodbye. Victor wishes Belle luck and tells her to give their love to Philip. She says she will. Kate asks Victor if he thinks Belle meant what she said. Victor thinks she did and thinks they should give her a break. She is a nice girl but she was in a difficult spot. She loved both of them and all three of their lives have had so much turmoil and they are so young. Kate agrees but still vows that if Belle does anything else to hurt Philip, there are no excuses this time. She will make her pay. Victor agrees and also reminds Kate not to interfere. Kate reminds Victor that she is trying to change and let her children's play out their own lives. Victor is pleased and tells Kate to stay that way.

    -Billie is helping Chelsea get dressed as she has been released from the hospital. Billie asks Chelsea if she is sure she is feeling alright. Chelsea tells Billie to lay off. Billie wishes Chelsea would open up to her as she went through a horrible ordeal twice and has been through hell these past few months and she wants to help. Afterall, she is her mother. It will only help if Chelsea lets it all out. Chelsea finally lashes out and tells Billie to back off. It isn't going to help to rehash everything and talking about does not help. She talked about it the first time with Victor and Hope and the whole world eventually learned about it. She is sick of people pitying her and just wants to be left alone. Billie says she just wants to help and she doesn't like Chelsea attitude. Chelsea reminds Billie of everything she has been through and asks Billie what mood she expects her to be in. Chelsea says she tried to change and bad things still happened to her and those around her so why bother. She is done trying to be nice because it does nowhere and she is only pretending. Being raped again made her realize who she was and, strangely, she has Jason and Barry to think. They were right-she is nothing a but a manipulative whore that no one wants. She asked to be raped by how she dressed and trying to change was her being something she was not. Not anymore. She tells Billie she will find her own why home. Billie asks where she is going. Chelsea says it is none of her business but, if she must know, she is going to party somewhere. Billie says that partying and trying to forget by drinking and drugs is not the way to deal with this. Billie knows that from personal experience and she tells Chelsea to just come with her. Chelsea tells her to back off and to stop acting like her mother. Billie says she is her mother and she is trying to help. Chelsea tells her not to and to just leave her the hell alone. She runs off. Billie runs after her but Chelsea gets in the elevator as it shuts. A frustrated Billie wonders what she is going to do. In the elevator, Chelsea is upset she almost spilled that Billie is not her mother but is happy she didn't. She doesn't need Hope getting involved and being on her back. She will go party and forget about everything and be herself. The days of changing are over for her. She sees a headline referring to a murder and remembers shooting Jason and Barry. She says that no one can ever know what she did or she will end up behind bars on top of everything else.

    -Kayla boards a ferry boat that takes her to an island. Kayla asks the boat operator why she is the only one on the ferry. He tells her that this island is not on the main maps and that only explorers and historians come there. She asks if it is uninhabited. He says no but explains there is not a large population. She thanks him. He gives her his card and says to call the number when she is ready to return. Kayla searches around looking the marker she sees on the map of the island. She sees a building with old architecture. It looks like a old-fashioned surfer bar. She looks around and wonders if she is in the same place she sees on the map. She then notices a old pier nearby. She runs over to it and says that there is supposed to be old tunnels that were built for the easier transfer of supplies from beach to beach. She looks around under the pier and sees a latch. She pulls on it and it opens up a old, falling apart door. She enters and pulls out a flashlight. She slowly moves down the tunnels and realizes this is what she is looking for as there is supposed to be a connecting network of tunnels that are relatively unknown to newer residents of the island as they used to be used by the police for security and investigative purposes. She searches around and moves items around, hoping to find a secret latch. She begins to get frustrated and throws her flashlight. The flashlight hits a lantern on the wall and the lantern breaks off as the wall opens up a little. Kayla walks over and realizes the wall opens up. She pulls it open and realizes she has found the tunnels she is looking for. She wonders what danger she may find but says it doesn't matter-she is finding her husband. The screen then fades to black and the credits roll.

    On the next Salem Lives...

    Abby to Max: We need to talk...
    Max to Abby: Yeah we do.
    Jack to Laura: Billie is a friend and if you can't deal with that then don't let the doot hit you on the way out.
    Frankie to Billie: We really do need to do something about Jack.
    Billie to Frankie: I have an idea.
    Chelsea: Give me whatever you got. I am here to have an unforgettable night.
    Stefano to Cassie: The Dimera's are truly rising again in Salem and we will have our revenge.
    Cassie to Stefano: Yes and I am happy to be a part of it.
    Kayla (with tears in her eyes): Oh my God...

    -Hope enters the Brady Pub. She sees Austin and Lucas and says hi to them. She apologizes about the Carrie situation. Lucas tells Hope he still hopes to find a way to bring her back. Hope says she will pray that they do. Caroline is at the bar when Hope sits down. Caroline is surprised to see her there and can tell Hope is upset. Hope fills her in on what happened with Bo. Hope asks Caroline what they should do. Caroline asks Hope if she is asking her to help her fix a mess she helped create.

    -Lucas and Austin discuss Carrie. Austin says the only way Carrie will think of returning is if she knows it is safe to return. Otherwise, she will not return as she doesn't want to raise a baby in a dangerous environment. Lucas still thinks there is more to it and wonders if it has something to do with what Sami and Lexie did. Austin doubts it. Lucas asks Austin if he really think Sami meant what she said. Austin says he does and he thinks she proved it by giving Will to Lucas until she could prove herself. Sami would never do that unless she was serious. She loves Will. Lucas says he agrees but Sami as tried to change so many times and if surviving things like her own execution didn't change her, he doesn't think anything will.

    -Sami is at her apartment and recalls all her past sins and crimes. She is determined to prove herself and show she is worthy of the love and treatment of her family and friends. She just hopes she can do it and prays for the strength. She remembers what Roman said to her before he left. Sami vows that she will change everything about her but her hatred for John. He will never be Roman and she will never accept him. Nothing will get her to change her mind about that.

    -Roman and Shane arrive at the hospital and bump into Stefano, who is outside Lexie's room. Roman laughs because it seems Stefano was kicked out of his daughter's room. Roman sees Abe and Lexie holding hands and regrets what he is about to do. Stefano sees the look of lament on Roman's face while he is staring at Lexie and Abe and he asks what is going on. Roman says it is none of his business. Roman tells Shane it is time. Both men walk in and say hello to Lexie, Abe, and Celeste. They ask Lexie if she is feeling better. She says she is and thanks both men for their well wishes. Roman says that he needs to talk to Abe alone. Abe tells Lexie and Theo he will be right back and leaves. Shane, Roman, and Abe go around the corner to avoid Stefano. Roman says he can see Lexie and him are closer. Abe tells Roman they are going to try to work things out. Roman says he is sorry he has to tell him this but he needs to know and it is best coming from him. Stefano is listening nearby when Roman tells Abe all about Sami and Lexie's scheme against Carrie and Austin. Abe is stunned and doesn't want to beleive it. Stefano is laughing and whispers to himself that he no longer has to worry about Abe and his daughter. Abe pushes a medical tray to the ground and throws a coffee pot. Roman tells him to take it easy. Abe walks off in a rage. Roman and Shane follow.

    -Lexie, Celeste, and Theo are waiting in the room. Abe comes in and says Theo needs to be out of the room. Shane takes him and leaves as he says Lexie may need her mother. Lexie asks what is going on. Abe tells her he knows what she did for Sami because of her affair with Tek. Lexie's face sinks as she realizes what is happening. Abe asks Lexie if it true. She says it is and she regrets it. Abe asks why she never told him. Lexie says he was so mad at her and wouldn't talk to her and things were such a mess it just never came up. He lashes out at her and says not to make excuses. She was hoping he wouldn't find out and he did. He was right with what he said on the island. She is a Dimera through and through and he wants nothing to do with her. He is through for good this time and he is going to make sure she loses Theo. He doesn't want his son being corrupted by the Dimera curse. Stefano says he will have a hell of a fight on his hands. Abe says he will fight to the death to protect his son from him. Abe walks out as Roman follows him. Celeste tells Lexie how disappointed she is in her. Lexie tells her mother she doesn't want a lecture as she feels bad enough. She tells her to just go as she needs to talk to Stefano. Celeste doesn't think that is a good idea but Lexie demands it and tells her mother to get the hell out of her room. Celeste warns Stefano that she will not stand by and watch her daughter follow in his footsteps. Lexie was saved before from his influence and she will be again. Stefano laughs as Celeste leaves. Lexie begins to break down and tells her father she lost everything. She is suspended from the hospital and now she has lost Abe for good and probably Theo. Stefano hugs her and says it will all be ok. He will make sure she doesn't lose Theo and that everything else works out. Abe is no loss and as long as she has Theo he doesn't matter. Lexie says he is right-only Theo matters. She loves Abe but she will do whatever it takes to hold on to Theo, even if it means giving up Abe for good. Stefano is pleased to hear this.

    -Hope knows that she played a role in why Bo is acting like he is but she doesn't want to play the blame game. They all know how they got to this point so it's time to figure out how to fix it. Hope tells Caroline she asked Maggie for help. Caroline says that no one will convince Victor to turn Bo away so it is useless for Maggie to even try. It is why she won't even try despite her history with Victor. Hope asks what else they can do. Caroline says she has no clue other then to watch him from afar and pray that they stop him when he is about to do something stupid or that he stops himself and changes his mind about all this. Hope prays that will be the case as she can't remember ever being this worried about him. Caroline agrees and says they just need to trust Bo will come to his senses or that maybe even Victor will.

    -Lucas is returning from the men's room and asks Austin if he heard what Hope and Caroline were talking about. Austin tells Lucas he doesn't eavesdrop. Lucas tells Austin about Bo's plans and him moving in with Victor. Lucas says that Hope may have just given them away to bring Carrie home. Austin doesn't understand. Lucas says they need to join Victor and Bo's cause to wipe out all the threats to their family and friends in Salem. Austin reminds Lucas that Victor and Bo are going to be on the other side of the law and taking the law into their own hands. Lucas reminds Austin that he said he would do anything to bring Carrie back and this may be the best way to do it. If they both team up with Bo and Victor, they can help them get rid of the Dimera's and any other threats to Salem and they can find Carrie and she will come home. Austin isn't so sure about this. Lucas says it is the only option they have. He asks if Austin's in because he is in regardless of what he does. Austin tells Lucas that he knows how much he cares for Carrie. Austin says he will give this a try but can't make any promises. Lucas is pleased and says with him on board and them all working together, they should be able to make Salem a safe enough place so Carrie can come home. Austin hopes so.

    -Roman and Shane try to calm Abe. He thanks them both for coming and telling him and says he needs to be alone with his son. They hand him Theo and tell him to call if he needs anything. Roman feels bad about shattering Abe's dreams of being a family with Lexie and Theo but he needed to know. Shane tells him they did the right thing. They leave. Celeste tries to comfort Abe but Abe tells her to just go. He needs to be alone with Theo and seeing Celeste just reminds him of Lexie. Celeste understands and tells Abe to let her know how he is doing tomarrow and if he needs anything. He thanks her. Celeste apologizes for her daughter. Abe insists it wasn't her fault. Her daughter is a Dimera and he knows that now. Celeste kisses Theo and quietly walks off. Abe holds Theo and vows not to let him fall victim to the Dimera curse like his mother did-no matter what he has to do.

    -Lexie tells Stefano that Sami must pay for this. She had no right to tell Roman. She picks up the phone. Sami runs out of the shower as her phone rings. She is shocked to answer it and hear Lexie on the line. Lexie attacks her for admitting the truth to everyone. Sami says she had to. She wants to change and she feels bad for Lexie but it will be better now that the truth is out. Afterall, it was Lexie who was trying to convince her to change and take responsibility for her actions finally. Lexie is shocked that Sami actually listened for once. She tells Sami she lost Abe, will probably lose her job, and could lose Theo so things aren't ok for her. Sami says that Lexie is out of a coma and that is a plus. Lexie is frustrated and tells Sami she will pay for this no matter how right she felt about doing it. She has lost everything and she will make sure Sami suffers for it. Lexie hangs up. Sami wonders what Lexie might do and if she may get Stefano involved. She worries abotu what this means for Will and her family. Stefano tells Lexie he will help her get her revenge and hold on to Theo. Lexie understands that the only way for her to hold on to Theo and get what she wants is to think and act like a Dimera. No more doing what is right. She is going to win and do whatever it takes. Stefano is pleased she feels that way and embraces her with a sinister smile on his face.

    -Kayla searches all around Austrailia for Steve. She shows his picture to pedestrians and has no luck. She goes to a local library and does some internet and map research. She still comes up with nothing. She asks the clerk if she has any other maps of some secluded areas or maybe some relatively unknown areas around the area. She hands Kayla some older maps that are barely used anymore but contain some info the other maps don't about some not so well known sights and even some hidden gems around the area. Kayla searches through them and is about to give up when something on one of the maps catches her eye. She then says she thinks she just found Steve. She puts the other items away and asks the clerk if she can take the map with her. The clerk says she seems nice enough and the map is never used anymore anyway so go ahead. Kayla runs off with the map and says something is telling her this is where Steve is. She tells Steve she is coming as the screen fades to black and the credits roll.

    Kayla: Who knows what kind of danger I will find here?
    Julie to Alice: Yes!!! We did it Grandma!!! Now let's just hope this works and helps Maggie.
    Maggie to Bo: Are you sure you are doing the right thing?
    Greta to Eric: Tell Nicole the truth before it's too late.
    Belle to Victor and Kate: You will be happy to know I am leaving Salem to be with your son.
    Billie to Chelsea: What aren't you telling me about that night? Chelsea...did you have anything to do with Jason and Barry's murders?

    -Belle is walking through the airport wondering what to do next. She goes home to Claire. She pays the babysitter and then holds Claire. She tells her she has bad news and that uncle Shawn had to leave. She remarks how at one point she beleived Shawn was her father and now so much has changed. Her life is a mess and she has so many regrets. She remembers Shawn's last words to her about going to Claire and going to Philip since they are her life now. Belle says he was right. Shawn and her are through and she was wrong to let Philip go off alone. She was just so in love with Shawn and had wanted it for so long she couldn't bare to leave him but Shawn left for her. She looks at Claire and realizes that there is only one thing she can do now and it's the right thing. It is what she should've done before but couldn't bare to do with Shawn here. She needs to leave Salem with Claire and be with Philip so she can fulfill her promise and responsibility to him. She kisses Claire and tells her they are going to see daddy.

    -Abe and Celeste hold Theo as they wait outside Lexie's room so they can get in to see her. They are bothered by Stefano being there as well. Abe wants him out but Celeste convinces Abe to not start anything. Cassie arrives and says she wanted to be there for her grandfather and aunt. Stefano is happy she is there and whispers to her that he is very pleased with her actions in regards to Max earlier. She is proving to be quite the asset to the Dimera family. Cassie thanks him and says she is just trying to prove her worth and that she is a true Dimera. Stefano says she is and that he is very impressed. Abe tells Celeste that this whole ordeal has made him realize he still loves Lexie and that he played a huge role in why Lexie cheated on him. He pushed her away and his attitude was inexcusable. He thinks if both Lexie and him take responsibility for their actions they can try to work this out. Celeste is happy to hear that and thinks Lexie will too. The nurse and doctor tell them they can go in but only two at a time. Abe and Celeste run in ahead of Stefano with Theo. Stefano is annoyed. Lexie is happy to see Theo, Abe, and Celeste. Celeste asks her how she is feeling. Lexie says she has been better. Abe fills her in on what happened and tells her they suspect Victor is responsible and that Stefano was the real target. Lexie asks if Victor is in jail. Abe says they really have no proof other then Victor owning the blown up warehouse. Stefano overhears and gloats with Cassie that Victor will pay and that plans are already underway.

    -Abe tells Lexie that this whole crisis made him realize something. When he thought she was gone, he was heartbroken and it was like a part of him died. He realized he was unfair to her and that he was partly responsible as he pushed her away. He thinks they owe it to their son to give their marriage one last try. He apologizes for treating her unfairly and putting all the blame on her. He hopes they can both take responsibility for their actions and work through this. Lexie is overjoyed and embraces Abe. She tells him she loves him and that she won't be sorry. Celeste congratulates them. Lexie kisses Theo and tells them that his mommy and daddy are going to be try to be a family with him again so they can all be happy together. Stefano walks in and says that she will be happy with Abe over his dead body. Abe tells him that can be arranged. Lexie begs them both to stop and asks Cassie to keep Stefano out of her room. She wants to be with Abe, her mother, and Theo. Stefano says he is her father and that he has a right to see her. Lexie says she wants to see him too but she has alot to discuss with Abe and she wants to be with her son. She begs Stefano to understand. Stefano reluctantly leaves. Lexie says she loves him and Stefano echoes the sentiments. Abe and Celeste are happy Lexie threw Stefano out. Lexie warns both of them that Stefano is her father and a part of her life. Abe explains that he is the reason she almost died. Lexie insists it was an accident. Abe brings up all of Stefano's past crimes and what he did to her with the baby swtich and the recent island debacle. Lexie explains Stefano had no part of the island plot as he created the idea but never saw it through and all that is in the past. Her father being in captivity seems to have changed him. Abe doubts that and cites the fact that Lexie has spent very little time with him. Lexie says she plans to spend more time with him. Abe is unhappy with that, as is Celeste. Lexie says she doesn't want to discuss this and only wants to enjoy being with them. Abe agrees to drop it. Meanwhile, Stefano is hurt and angry about Lexie kicking him out. Cassie tries to calm him but Stefano insists he will never let Abe be with his daughter. He won't let anyone take his daughter away from her rightful place in the Dimera empire and Abe is already doing that right now. Cassie says she will help him make sure that Abe does not interfere with his plans for Lexie and his empire.

    -Lucas, Eric, Nicole, Kate, Austin, Shane, Will, and Roman are all stunned by Sami saying she is giving up Will. Sami insists it is only a verbal agreement and if she can't prove herself to be a changed woman then they will go to court and make it official. She does deserve to be Will's mother until she can prove she is worthy just like she doesn't deserve their love or forgiveness until she proves herself, which she will do no matter what it takes. Will asks Sami if she doesn't want him anymore. Sami insists that Will is her life but she wants to show them all how serious she is. She has learned her lession and she will show them. Kate and Nicole doubt it but Lucas and Austin actually buy her being serious and hope she means it. Roman, Shane, and Eric agree as they all are disappointed in her right now. Sami says she knows and that she hopes she can make everything up to all of them. Sami asks Lucas and Will if they will do what she says. Will agrees saying he will be better with his dad right now anyway. Sami agrees. Lucas agrees as well. Will says he is going to pack. Austin tells Sami he hopes she means this because he is so angry with her right now. Sami understands and says she will do her best to show him she can be a person they can all be proud of. Austin wishes good luck and tells Lucas he needs to talk to him. Lucas says to just be at his apartment later. Austin leaves. Kate is sick of listening to his and says to call her the next time Sami screws up as a Sami downfall is too good to miss. She leaves. Eric gets another headache and hides it from Nicole. Nicole wants to leave so Eric hugs Sami and says he is going to hold her to her word that she has learned from her mistakes. Sami asks Eric why he isn't mad at her. Eric says life is too short and that he has faith she has learned her lesson. Sami thanks him for always being there with her and says she will try to make him proud. Eric and Nicole leave.

    -Roman walks over to Sami. Sami says she doesn't even want to talk to him and she doesn't give a damn what he thinks. Roman says if she is going to commit to changing she needs to accept him as her father or at least be civil. Sami says she doesn't care what he thinks of her and she doesn't want to waste her energy proving anything to him. Roman says he doesn't know how to get through to her but tells her that he will always be there when she realizes the only way to fully complete her transformation and her process of change is to let go of the hate she feels towards him. Sami turns her back on him and says nothing. Roman tells Shane they can go now as he doesn't want to start anything. He tells Sami he is disappointed in her for scheming yet again but he is proud of her for acknowledging her faults and trying to change. He only hopes they can work things out someday. He leaves and, on the way out, tells Shane they need to find Abe. Shane asks why. Roman says he needs to know about Lexie's part in Sami's scheme and it is best he hears it from them. Shane agrees. Lucas helps Will carry his things. Sami hugs him and says it is the way it has to be for now. Will says the way her trach record is he may never be moving back in. Sami understands the lack of faith in her and says she will prove them all wrong. Lucas hopes so and takes Will and leaves. Sami tells herself she is doing the right thing and that she needs to do what it takes to prove herself to them but it hurts like hell to give up her son. She breaks down and says she just hopes she make them all proud and really do this as she has been able to before. She prays to God to give her the strength to do this because she doesn't want to lose her son and all the people she cares aboutthat are still with her. She holds a picture of Will and cries on the couch as she promises she is going to succeed so she can have them all back in her life, especially him, and feel she is truly worthy of having them in her life.

    -Bo comes back downstairs and says he has everything. Hope demands to know where he is going. Bo says she has no right to demand anything. Hope reminds him they are still married. Bo is aware and says how knows for how long. Hope asks what is wrong with him. Recently, he wanted to work things out and now he is pushing her away. Bo remembers Victor saying they must push loved ones away to protect them. Bo tells Hope she didn't want to talk when he wanted to and then she lied to him about Chelsea's rape, which made the evidence trail cold, and screwed up his plan to make the rapists confess when he found them in the alley. Hope says she thought he was going to kill the rapists. Bo says and that is another thing-she beleived too easily that he would just jump right in bed with Billie when she found him "in bed" with her in the motel and she also didn't beleive in his innocence in regards to Jason and Barry's murders. Hope says there was alot going on and she just wasn't ready to talk to Bo at the time and she does have regrets. She apologizes for that and for thinking he did it. It is just that so much happened and Bo just learned Chelsea's was raped again that night so anything was possible, especially since it was Chelsea's rapists who were murdered. Bo says it doesn't matter. He is not wasting his time anymore with her or his family. No one gets it and understands there are problems and that the systen and doing things "by the book" is not helping. He needs to take action. Hope fears the anger and rage she is seeing in Bo's eyes and asks if he moving in with Victor. Bo doesn't answer. Hope begs Bo not to do this and not to push her and his family away. Bo says Victor is family too and he understands that the status quo does nothing. People like Jason and Barry, who have previous offenses, are let go because of a retracted confession even though they have no alibi and were pretty much proven to be the rapists because Victor provided testimony and evidence. The DA tossed it because Victor got it via illegal means. People like Stefano Dimera go free to cause more pain and suffering. He can't stand by and watch it anymore. Too many loved ones of his have suffered and he reminds Hope that her family has suffered. Hope understands the frustation and says that Bo and her can fight for changes and they can deal with all this together. They can work everything out.

    -Bo tells Hope she is a month too late. He says he doesn't want to deal with this right now and that no one is changing his mind. He knows what he needs to do. He opens the door. Hope grabs him and begs him not to do this. Bo coldly looks at her and pushes her off of him.

    Hope: Why do you have to do this? We have all lost enough. Our family has lost enough.
    Bo: Hope, just leave me alone and stay out of my way.
    Hope: You are scaring me. I don't like hearing what I am hearing or seeing that look in your eye. I have never seen that look for as long as I've known you. Please Bo. Stay with me. Please don't this. Don't go down this path.
    Bo: Hope, please.
    Hope: Bo...

    Hope grabs hold of Bo's arms and tries to pull him back into the house.

    Bo: Hope, just let me go!! Don't fight me!!!

    Hope holds him tighter and tries to pull him back in.

    Hope: I am not giving up on you. I won't see you do this. I won't let you. It's not you to be acting and talking like this and it certainly isn't you to go down the road you are going. Please Bo. Please...think of your family. Think about Shawn and Chelsea. Think about Zach.
    Bo: I have to do this so let me go.
    Hope: You don't want to do this...
    Bo: Damnit Hope!!! Just let me go!!

    Bo throws Hope off of him and she falls to the ground.

    Hope: You have never...
    Bo: I am sorry.
    Hope(crying): You really are lost. I don't...I don't know how to pull you back from this.
    Bo: Goodbye Hope.
    Hope (chasing after Bo): Please don't do this. Bo!!! Please!!!

    Bo gets in the car and drives off as Hope runs after the car.

    Hope: Oh God. Please God help him. Help all of us. Help me. How do I save him? How do I save him before it's too late?

    Bo(in his car): I am sorry Hope. I had to do this. After the island and what happened to Chelsea, I just can't watch all of the people I love continue to suffer. Victor is offering me a way to protect all of you and to finally end the reigns of Dimera, Toscano, and all those other cold hearted bastards that make people suffer. Dimera created the island plot and Toscano helped and that is why Victor ordered the drug operation and...why Chelsea got raped the first time. It has to be stopped and I am going to make it stop...for the sake of everyone. No matter what I have to do...even if I have to give you and everyone else I care about up to protect you all...whatever it takes. I do love you Hope (fighting back tears). I do love you.

    The screen then fades to black and the credits roll.

    On the next Salem Lives...

    Hope to Caroline: What are we going to do?
    Caroline to Hope: You are asking for my help to fix a mess you helped create?
    Lucas to Austin: Did you hear that?
    Austin to Lucas: What?
    Lucas to Austin: Hope may have just given us a way to help bring Carrie back.
    Abe to Lexie: I want nothing to do with you!! You are a Dimera through and through!!!
    Stefano to Lexie: I will help you get through this and to get your revenge.
    Lexie to Stefano: Thank you father.
    Lexie to Sami: I am going to pay you back you bitch!!!
    Kayla: That's it!!! I just found Steve.

    -Victor asks Bo if he is sure he wants to join him. Bo says he has to. Things can't go on the way they are and justice needs to be served even if it means bending the law. Victor insists they are going to be doing more then bending the law. He asks Bo if he is willing to isolate himself from his family and friends and push them away like Victor has in an effort to protect them in case of retaliation. Bo says he will do what he must. Seeing what happened to Chelsea and the island debacle-he realizes now that things have gotten out of hand and need to be stopped. Victor agrees and asks Bo again if he is sure he wants to do this. Bo says he is and that there is no going back. They shake on it. Victor then tells Bo that he should move in with him. Bo agrees and says it brings back old memories. Victor laughs and urges him to move in right away. Bo leaves to get his stuff as Victor pours some brandy and informs Nico of what is going on. Nico mentions that Victor seems happy. Victor says he is-not only will he get his revenge and destroy his enemies but this might also bring his son and him together.

    -Maggie asks Hope what she can do for her. Hope knows that Maggie and Victor have become good friends and is hoping that she can talk Victor into discouraging Bo from taking the law into his own hands. She is so worried about him and can't think of anything else to do. Maggie doesn't know if that will work or if Victor will go for it but she says she will try. Hope thanks her and asks how she is doing. Maggie says she would rather not talk about it and needs to get going. Hope thanks her for her help and hopes she feels better. Maggie returns to Victor's with suitcase and notices how happy she is. She asks him what is going on. Victor informs her that Bo is moving in and Maggie congradulates Victor as Bo and him can bond and get closer. Victor agrees. Maggie wonders how Hope will react to this. She asks Victor if this means Bo and him are working together on going after Stefano and other threats to Salem. Victor says Bo needs a place to stay and that is all there really is to it. Maggie goes upstairs to pack as Victor vows to make sure Maggie doesn't interfere and mess things up. Meanwhile, Hope returns home to find Bo packing his things. She asks what is going on. Bo says he came to pick up the rest of his things as he has found a place to live. Hope thought he was just going to stay with Caroline. Bo says plans have changed. Hope asks where she can find him now. Bo doesn't answer and tells Hope he doesn't want to tell her at the moment and goes upstairs to finish packing. Hope is stunned and worried about what is going on.

    -Chelsea and Abby watch Cassie and Max dancing on the TV. Abby tries to suggest it's nothing but Chelsea tells Abby to look at them. She told Abby that Max is in to girls like that who will give him what he wants. Abby tells Chelsea to stop acting like Max wants a whore. Chelsea says that Max wants a girl who will put out for him and give him what he needs, just like every other guy. Chelsea admits she doesn't fit that bill as no one would want her, especially now that she is nothing but manipulative slut. Abby tells her to stop thinking like that but Chelsea says it's true. Jason and Barry were right about her. Abby thinks Chelsea is feeling the effects of all she has been through. Chelsea tells Abby that Max and her are through and there is no going back. She doesn't want him and he doesn't want her and she says she wants to be able to party and live without being tied down to one guy. She tells Abby to fight for Max and do whatever it takes, even if it means getting down and dirty. Abby says she isn't like that. Chelsea tells Abby that everyone is a little wild deep down and that it just needs to be tapped into, which Abby will when she feels desperate measures need to be taken. Abby says she isn't even sure if she wants Max. Chelsea says she can see that Abby does and warns Abby not to wait too long to do something or it will be too late. The nurse comes in to check Chelsea, who asks the nurse when she can be released to go party. Abby says goodbye and leaves, wondering if Chelsea is right about her having to do whatever it takes if she wants Max. She wonders if she has it in her to be wild and carefree and if she really wants Max enough to do it.

    -Cassie and Max continue to dance until the music stops. They lost the contest but admit they had fun. Cassie can see Max is not completely sober and says she won't hold it against him. Max asks why she is hanging around him. Cassie mentions she is close with the Brady's because she thought she was one at one time and she thought he seemed nice enough and wanted to help him. Max thanks her but says he would rather be alone now. Cassie agrees to leave him but gives him her number and asks him to give her a call. She kisses his cheek and leaves. Cassie then heads to the bushes and makes a phone call to Stefano telling him things went well with Max. She asks what she needs to do now. Stefano instructs her to give Max space but meet up with him randomly every now and then until he instructs her otherwise. He also tells her to use her closeness with the Brady's to keep him up to date on their happenings. Cassie agrees and hangs up. Stefano is pleased that things are going well and says he has big plans for Cassie and Max. He goes to Lexie's room and waits outside as he is awaiting the doctors leaving so he can enter her room to see her awake.

    -Sami admits how sorry she is. Austin, Lucas, and Kate rip her to shreads for her actions. Austin says that Sami manipulated Carrie into choosing Lucas via Lexie. Lucas thinks Carrie would've chosen him anyway but Austin thinks otherwise. They start arguing and Kate breaks it up. Kate mentions how it is the same old Sami who never changes. Austin and Lucas agree, as does Nicole. Eric, Will and Roman express how disappointed they are and Shane says it is stunning how Sami never learns from her mistakes. Sami says she has now and will prove it to him. She has finally realized you can't make someone love you or feel something for you as it does nothing but cause pain and ruins lives. She is still in the same situation as she was before scheming and plotting her whole life. She is still alone and single so it is clear what she has been wasting her whole life doing is wrong. Life is too short and she needs to make changes and grow up. She has finally realized she needs to take full responsibility for all her actions and can't try to deflect the blame. Nicole and Kate roll their eyes. Lucas says he will beleive it one he sees it. Everyone is also shocked that Lexie would do such a thing. Roman tells Shane they will need to tell Abe. Sami apologizes to Will and says she will make it up to him and prove how good of a mom she can be. She vows this time she will change and grow up for real. No one beleives her and Will cites the fact that she says that all the time. Sami says she is serious this time and will prove to all of them she is changing. She mentions how she told them all where Carrie was in the mountains. The "old" Sami would never have done that as keeping Carrie away would've been the better option in her mind. The fact that she confessed her secret rather then let someone expose it should mean something too. Austin says it does but it took a long time fomr Sami to own up. Sami understands and hopes they will all forgive her and she will do her best to prove she is really changing this time. Lucas asks her how she plans to show them this time she has changed and asks what is so different. Sami says she has the perfect action that will show them all right off the bat she isn't kidding and that this is the real deal. Sami tells Will to start packing up his stuff tonight. He asks why. Sami says that he is moving in with his father tomarrow and that she is giving Lucas sole custody of Will until she can really make them all proud and show them a different Sami. They won't file legal papers or anything, it will only be like an incentive to make sure she is serious this time. If she fails, then they will go to court and she will give him sole custody officially but she doesn't plan to fail as she is serious about changing this time. Everyone in the room looks on stunned as Sami asks them all if they beleive she is serious now.

    -Belle tells Shawn he can't go. She can't live without him. Shawn says she is showing why he is leaving in the first place. He reminds Belle of his reasons. He needs to get out of Salem and away from everything. He also needs to do this for himself and, in some way, as a honor to Philip. It is a way for him to make up for all his mistakes in the past. His relationship with her has changed her. The Belle he used to know would never break a promise and she did that to Philip, her husband and baby's father. She let him go off alone to recover while she stayed here fawning over him. Belle says that they love each other and more separation would only cause more pain. Shawn disagrees and says that them being together is causing more pain for their families and Philip's. He reminds Belle that they are cousins. Belle says it doesn't matter but Shawn says it does and they just don't feel right together anymore. Shawn admits it hasn't felt right since before the Salem Stalker ruse. The airport announces that Shawn's flight is about to board. Belle realizes this is really happening. She grabs on to Shawn and begs him one last time not to leave. She doesn't know what she will do. Shawn is finally hit with the realization that he is leaving and begins to have doubts as he holds Belle in his arms. Belle and Shawn them remember all they have been through as a montage is shown to the song they danced to at the Last Blast Dance, "I'll Be" by Edwin McCain . They both begin to cry and Belle remembers what she told Cassie when Mimi and Rex were leaving and that sometimes, when you love someone, you have to put them before yourself. Belle understands she has to do that now as Shawn has valid reasons for going and alot has changed. Belle begins to wonder if maybe it is for the best. Shawn realizes Belle is coming to accept the idea and that he can't worry. He is making the right decision for everyone and Belle and him. It will all work out the way it will.

    Belle: Well, you need to go. Your plan is almost done boarding.
    Shawn: Yeah...I guess. Look, Belle. I don't want you to think I stopped loving you. I know some of my reasons for leaving may sound that way but...
    Belle: I know you love me. I can see it in your eyes. A love like ours doesn't just go away. It never goes away. You can act like it's not there but it always is.
    Shawn: Your right.

    Shawn walks up to a crying Belle, kisses her, tears streaming down his face now.

    Shawn: I will also always love you. I will never stop.
    Belle: Shawn...I love...I love you too.
    Shawn: You take care of that family of yours and keep an eye on things for me, ok?
    Belle: I will and if your mom, dad...I will do anything for your family if they need my help. You know that.
    Shawn: Well, they are your family too.
    Belle: Yeah. It's still weird.
    Shawn: Well, thank you. I guess this is goodbye then.
    Belle: Yeah...goodbye. Damnit Shawn!!! How am I going to do this? How am I going to say goodbye? I don't want to say goodbye!!!
    Shawn: I have to go.
    Belle: No!!! Please!!! Just a few...

    Shawn slowly walks away as Belle grabs hold and won't let go.

    Shawn: It's the last call. I have to go. I love you Belle.
    Belle: Shawn...how am I supposed to go on without you?
    Shawn: Go to Philip. Go to Claire. They are your life. Goodbye Belle.
    Belle: Shawn...I love you!!! I love you!!
    Shawn: I love you.

    Shawn looks back, turns around, and boards the plane as a tearful Belle look on. The song "I'll Be" begins to play again in the background as Shawn takes his seat on the plane as Belle watches the takeoff process and then witnesses the plane life off the ground and into the sky. On the plane, tears streaming down his face, Shawn looks at a picture of Belle and him and whispers a final goodbye. Meanwhile, Belle stares out the window almost hoping Shawn will come back. She gets up and begins to walk but then collapses to the ground in tears. A airport employee asks if she is ok. She answers that she will have to be but, right now, it seems like she never will be. The screen then fades out on Belle crying and Shawn on the plane and then the credits roll.

    On the next Salem Lives...

    Belle: There is only one thing I can do now.
    Abe to Lexie: I want to give us another chance.
    Stefano: You will be happy with Abe over my dead body, Alexandra.
    Sami: Even if takes me my whole life, I will prove to you all that I can change and be a person you all can be proud of.
    Hope to Bo: Please don't this!!
    Bo to Hope: I have to do this, Hope. You can't stop me...nothing and no one will stop me.

    KAYLA: THE BIG MOMENT!!!



    Kayla's search for Steve turns dangerous this week on Salem Lives as she finds herself targeted by Stefano Dimera. "Stefano knows Kayla talked to Patrick and that she is off looking for Steve," recaps HW Tim Lowery. "Stefano is pleased because this plays into his plans for revenge against Victor and all his enemies. How? Well, I know but the fan's won't until it plays out but it is evident that he is hoping she finds something and that others will be lured into the same trap because of her." Kayla questions people about Steve and then starts looking at maps and layouts of Austrailia to see if there are any tunnels or underground lairs of some kind. As the week progresses, Kayla stumbles onto something and makes a beeline for the place that has her focus. "Kayla eyes a certain area and thinks it could be where Steve is," says Lowery. "She ends up in a whole lot of danger and then something BIG happens. It is just a HUGE moment." Is this big twist what we all think it is? "I think the fans know but I try not to come out with it, "laughs Lowery. They know Stephen Nichols (Steve) is back and they even saw his head on Friday's show. I expect people to know what will happen at the end of the week but I don't want to give too much of the specifics away other then it is powerful and very emotional." Sounds like just the thing Kayla and Steve fans want to hear!!!

    SHELLE'S HEARTBREAKING GOODBYE!!!



    Shawn leaves Salem...and Belle this week on Salem Lives leaving her heartbroken. The week begins with Belle arriving at the airport to try once more to stop Shawn from leaving. "It's very powerful," entuses HW Tim Lowery. "She goes on and on about all their hopes and dreams and everything they have been through. It is a nice treat for the fans because it recaps so much of what has happened between these two and is a nice goodbye to the Shawn character." Shawn then tells Belle again his reason for leaving, hoping this time she will understand and accept them. "Shawn reminds Belle that they are cousins now and that he is doing this for her," says Lowery. "The old Belle would never let Philip go to recover on his own after she vowed to be there for him, especially for selfish reasons. He also tells Belle it will be a nice honor to Philip and a way of making things up to him and Shawn, himself, needs to do this for his own life." Belle can see he isn't going to back down and then they hear the announcement for him to board. "It hits Belle that she can't stop this and it finally hits Shawn but he is about to do," previews Lowery. "There is hear, sadness, and heartbreak in Shawn's eyes. You almost feel like he has changed his mind." Shockingly, as it seems Shawn is hesistant about leaving now, Belle finally begins to support his leaving. "She seems to understand now oddly enough," laughs Lowery. "She tells him that it just seems like this is all meant to happen and now she feels at peace with it. She doesn't know why but it's kinda like her epiphany." The duo then shares a heartbreaking goodbye as Belle's acceptance of his leaving helps put all of Shawn's doubts aside. "He is ok now and says goodbye," explains Lowery. They kiss and just enjoy the moment. He promises to stay in touch and there is a little montage and then he boards. Belle is in tears and she breaks down and we actually see Shawn break down on the plane. It really is powerful and a nice way to end the SHELLE story." So, what is next for Belle? "She contemplates everything going on and makes a decision about her next action by week's end," promises Lowery. "It won't be all that surprising what she decides to do but it will setup future story for her and others." Expect Martha Madison (Belle) to be off on a hiatus until at least mid-December. "There is just no story for her after this," sighs Lowery. "I love her but Phillip isn't returning until the holidays and Shawn is gone so Belle is on her own. I can't just let her rot on the canvas so giving the character a break is not a bad thing, especially when we already have so many other characters to play! I can promise the future is ripe with story for her, just not right now. It's funny-no Shawn, no Philip, no Belle, and no Mimi. Weird." Yes, weird indeed.

    SAMI: FINALLY!!!



    The buildup has been playing out for weeks but things finally come to a head this week on Salem Lives as Sami finally seems to have grown up. The week begins with Sami confessing her most recent lie. "She ie being torn apart by Kate, Roman, Nicole, and so on," says HW Tim Lowery. "The shocking thing is that she isn't denying any of it or acting like she was justified. She accepts the punishment and says she has learned her lesson." Even more shocking is that Sami actually says she can't blame anyone if they never forgive her. "Usually, Sami is begging for forgiveness but, this time, she seems to understand the gravity of it all. She asks for forgiveness but actually understands she needs to earn it. She vows to prove to them all she is done scheming and plotting." While no one beleives that, her next action leave them all speechless. "She actually tells Will to move in with Lucas and tells Lucas he can have full custody until she can prove herself to Will and Lucas-now that stuns the masses," laughs Lowery. "She knows she needs to prove herself and this is just one way to show serious she is. They choose not to do anything legally but just in idea. They won't go to court and sign anything but she wants Will away from her for a bit until she can get things together and show she is serious about growing up and changing." Things take a testy turn when Eric thinks Sami should accept John as Roman and let him have a role in her life. "Eric tells her that if she wants to really prove herself she can by doing that," previews Lowery. No surprise as Sami balks at the idea and at Austin's idea to agree to get along with Kate. "She is basically changing on her own terms," laughs Lowery. By week's end, Sami find herself alone but not feeling sorry for herself. "Usually, she would be a mess and lamenting how she lost everything but she is calm and relaxed," says Lowery. "She is ready to start anew and is going to try to be independent as she feels she needs to make these changes. It really is a nice change of pace." The question is-how long will it last...especially when Lexie comes a calling?

    LEXIE: DOWN AND OUT!



    Lexie gets good news and bad news this week on Salem Lives when she finally awakens from her coma. The week begins with Abe, Celeste, and Stefano at Lexie's bedside when she wakes up. "The tension is obviously there because Stefano is there," laughs HW Tim Lowery. "However, things turn more positive when Lexie gets a clean bill of health." That isn't the only good news for Lexie-Abe wants to give her another chance. "Lexie nearly dying made Abe realize he played a part in Lexie's betrayal of him with Tek by pushing her away," says Lowery. "He basically apologizes and they both acknowledge their mistakes and decide to make one more go of it for Theo but Abe makes it clear this is it and there won't be any more chances." So, all is good for Lexie. right? Wrong. Stefano is unhappy with Lexie and Abe reuniting as that takes Lexie away from the Dimera empire. "Stefano tries to convince Lexie that reuniting with Abe is wrong and a lost cause but she won't listen as this is her dream." A dream about to be shattered because, by week's end. Roman arrives with big news for Abe. "Sami has confessed the plot she forced Lexie into and Roman tells Abe about it," sighs Lowery. "Abe is stunned and he can't beleive Lexie would do such a thing. Celeste is horrified and Stefano is pleased as it seems Abe and Lexie are done and Lexie did something very Dimera-like in order to hold on to what she loved and cherished. Stefano is hoping that bodes well for her as he is counting on her to live up to the Dimera name." Abe lays into Lexie and tells her they are through. Where does Lexie go now? "To daddy, of course," laughs Lowery. "She begs Stefano to help and says she is willing to act like a Dimera now to hold on to her family, which pleases Stefano. She has no job, no family-she has nothing to lose and that makes things even more dangerous."

    COMINGS AND GOINGS

    Jason Cook (Shawn Brady): As previously reported, Cook last appears on September 25.

    Martha Madison (Belle Brady Kiriakis): Madison will be going on a hiatus and will last appear on October 5 when Belle and Claire (Ava and Olivia White) leave Salem. Expect Madison to be off the canvas for approximately 6-8 weeks.

    RUMOR MILL

    -Sources say to expect a plethora of Hortons to be returning in the weeks ahead as part of an intervention for Maggie (Suzanne Rogers).
    -Kimberly Brady (Patsy Pease) is due to return next month.
    -Rumor has it Staci Greason (ex-Isabella) was tapped for the role of Cal's (Josh Taylor) psychiatrist but the writers decided to change course and a casting call for a actress in their mid 40's-upper 50's has gone out. The writers simply didn't want to ruin the tragic story of Isabella's death and did not want to go the route of bringing a former actor back in a new role again.
    -Expect some former friends from Jack's (Matthew Ashford) past to be showing up soon.
    -Many controversial stories are coming up that are sure to have fans talking.
    -Look for Belle (Martha Madison) and Claire (Ava and Olivia White) to return with Philip by year's end.
    -Will the character of Shawn die in combat? Many rumors point in that direction.
    -A big name star may be back by the end of the year.
    -Rumor has it Arianne Zuker (Nicole) may extend her short term role to a permanent one. As for Jensen Ackles (Eric), that is highly unlikely considering the actor's busy schedule so rumor has it he will exit by year's end. Does that mean Eric will really die?

    -Kayla arrives at her hotel in Austrailia. She goes to the front desk to check in unaware she is being watched. She heads down the hallway to her room and hears a noise. She turns around and asks if someone is there.

    -Belle is at the loft with Claire. She looks at a picture of Shawn and says she is not going to let their dream go. She recalls their times together with tears streaming down her face. She goes to the phone and calls a sitter for Claire. She says she still has one more try left in her and that she is not letting Shawn leave no matter what she has to do.

    -Hope is with Shawn at the Brady house. His bags are all packed and he has said goodbye to everyone except his mom and dad. Hope says he should be there soon and asks Shawn if he plans to say goodbye to Belle and Claire. Shawn says it will be too hard and it will make things worse. Bo shows up and asks Shawn if he is ready. He says he is. Bo tells Shawn how proud of him he is. Shawn says he is just doing what he has to do for everyone, including himself. This will be good for Belle, will honor Philip, and he hopes it will make his loved ones proud. Hope begs him to be careful and to stay in touch. Shawn promises too and apologizes to his parents for all the trouble he put them through over the years. Hope says it is in the past. Bo agrees. Shawn reminds Bo that he will try his best to forgive but he will never forget his involvement with Zach's death and the coverup. Bo understands and he is just grateful they are being civil and getting along. Shawn hopes this will be a influential experience on his life since he feels he needs that after everything they have all been through. He realizes what time it is and says he needs to go. He kisses and embraces Hope and then hugs Bo. They both wish him luck. A crying Hope begs him to be careful again. Shawn promises he will and looks at them one more time as he leaves. Hope breaks down in Bo's arms. She looks at the pictures on the fireplace mantle and asks where they time went. Bo says it flies by. Hope prays that Shawn will be ok as she can't lose another son or anyone else she cares about. Bo says she won't have to worry about that and either will his friends and family. He is going to do whatever it takes to protect them and make sure justice is served properly. Hope looks at him horrified and begs Bo not to follow Victor's lead and take the law into his own hands. Bo says he will do what he has to and if it means pushing those he loves and cares about away for their safety and security, then so be it. Bo says he doesn't want a lecture or to talk as he has to get going. Hope begs him to talk with her but Bo says he has plans. Hope tells Bo not to go down that path but he leaves. Hope yells out to him to just let things be but he drives off. Hope is worried about what may happen next.

    -Maggie and Victor are sharing tea. Maggie thanks him for letting her stay in the guest wing. She didn't even have the urge to drink and she can't figure out why. All she knows is when she is around him, she feels good and it's like she is in another world. She should've never pushed him away but she felt it was best for both of them but everyone else was wrong. She needs Victor in her life. Victor asks what she is saying. Maggie says he is her strength and is what is keeping her sane. Once she forced him away, she turned to the bottle because she felt she had nothing else but she has him. He is a true friend and has been there for her through the worst 4 months of her life. Victor says he is grateful to her for her friendship as well. Maggie says she feels so relaxed with him and maybe it's because they were never close prior to the last few months and she doesn't feel as though he looks at her with shame and blame for Mickey's death. Victor insists Mickey's death wasn't her fault. Maggie says she sees what Julie meant but seeing the good in him and Maggie thinks it helps that Victor and her are both going through hard times. They truly understand where each other's coming from. Victor says she can stay as long as she wants and that he will do whatever he can to help her. Victor switches the subject to last night and asks how much she saw when she followed him. Maggie says she saw him arrive and stand over the two dead bodies of Chelsea's rapists with Nico and then leave after a few minutes. That was it. She asks Victor why he is so worried as he did nothing wrong. Victor says he was just making sure Maggie didn't misinterpet anything. Maggie thanks him and tells him to thank Nico for helping to coverup her being drunk yesterday. Victor says it's ok. Maggie promises it will never happen again as, when she is around him, the urge just isn't there. Victor says they will get through everything together. Maggie asks if she can stay with him for a few nights and, hopefully, she will make progress and be ok after that. He agrees and Maggie says she will go home and get her stuff. Victor hopes Maggie won't get in the way of his plans. Nico warns him to be careful around her so she doesn't get wind of certain things that could cause problems. Victor says he will and admits he feels good about her staying and is happy. Nico asks why but Victor doesn't have an answer. He says it just feels right.

    -Max is drinking a bottle of whiskey in the park when Cassie passes by. She reminds him that drinking early in the day is never good as you waste the day away. Max tells her to buzz off and leave him alone. Cassie says she knows he has girl problems with Chelsea and Abby. Max says Abby is just a friend and Cassie apologizes and corrects herself, while privately beleiving Max cares far more about her then he is letting on. Max says he still loves Chelsea and wants to help her but she won't let him in. Cassie says it's too bad but that maybe she will in time. She says he really needs to loosen up and have fun in the meantime. She remembers hearing he was a big partier and adventure seeker. She hates seeing him sulk. A dance competition is taking place and Cassie asks Max to join it with her to get his mind off his issues. Max says he is half drunk and not in the mood. Cassie says it will be good for him and there are no strings attached. They are just having fun. Besides, she used to be a Brady so they used to be connected. Max mentions she is a Dimera but Cassie reminds him she is one of the good guys. She again asks Max to join the dance competition with her as it will be alot of fun and will help him get through this rough patch. He knows she isn't going to let it go and reluctantly agrees. They reigster and join the dance off.

    -Abby visits Chelsea, who seems to catatonic. Abby manages to get her to say hello. Abby asks how she is feeling but Chelsea says to stop with the small talk and do what she wanted to and go. Abby asks Chelsea about Max and what happened. She says he wanted to break up and then wanted her back. She adds that he was too late-she is damaged goods now two times over. One time she could get past but this is too much. Abby begs Chelsea to open up to her as they are best friends but Chelsea tells her to back off. She has no idea what she is going through. Abby agrees with that and says she will change the subject. She asks if Chelsea heard from Max. Chelsea asks why Max isn't with Abby as they seemed to be closer. Abby insists they are only friends but Chelsea thinks otherwise and sarcastically agrees with Abby's denial. Chelsea tells Abby that it is really becoming obvious you have to be bad to get what you want. She tried being good and worse things happened to her. She tells Abby maybe she would think about a personality change too. Chelsea says good girls finish last just like nice guys and she vows not to suffer anymore. She is going to have a good time and not care about anything or anyone but herself. She will do what she wants when she wants. Abby is frightened and says Chelsea doesn't have to revert back to how she was months ago. Just because bad things happen doesn't mean it should stop her from changing. Abby also adds that bad girls don't always win. She thinks Max would never be one over by stuff like that. Chelsea reminds Abby that he is a race car driver and that he had quite a reputation of partying prior to meeting them. Chelsea says every guy likes girls that put out and be all over them. Abby is appalled but Chelsea says it's true. She is out of the running because she is a whore. Abby tells Chelsea she is not a whore but Chelsea refuses to listen and blocks Abby out by putting on the TV. Abby looks on frustrated.

    -Lucas, Austin, and Kate continue to search for Carrie. Lucas thanks Kate for providing them with some contacts overseas and nationally so they can try to track down Anna as Carrie said she would be joining her mother. Kate is happy to help. Meanwhile, Sami is prepared to confess her deception and hopes she is doing the right thing. She then tells herself she is and that she should have done this awhile ago as life is too short to keep this up. Will asks his mother what she is planning to do. Sami tells him he will see very soon and she promises she is going to be a great mother and make him proud from now on. Roman, Abe, Celeste, Eric, Nicole, and Shane arrive to join Kate, Lucas, and Austin. Austin asks what is going on. Roman says Sami called them all over and Shane tagged along. Abe says that Sami had big news and an announcement. Austin, Lucas, and Kate are puzzled.

    -Maggie arrives at her home and is packing up her things. Her doorbell rings. She tries to ignore it but finally gives in. It's Hope. Maggie asks what brings her to her house. Hope says she needs Maggie's help.

    -Victor is with Nico discussing plans against his enemies when the doorbell rings. Henderson announces that Bo Brady has arrived. Victor is pleased to see him. Bo tells Victor he is going to take his offer. He wants to join his fight and do whatever it takes to rid Salem and the people they love of these threats once and for all. Victor welcomes him aboard as him and Bo shake hands.

    -Shawn is at the airport waiting for his flight. He admits it is hard leaving but he has to do this. Belle then yells out that he doesn't have to worry because he isn't leaving at all if she has anything to do about it. Shawn is stunned and frustrated to see her. Belle walks up to him and asks him if he really wants to leave her and....(passionately kisses Shawn). Belle then asks him if he still sure he wants to leave as Shawn remains silent and stunned.

    -Cassie and Max take to the dance floor for their turn. He comes close to changing his mind but Cassie tells him it's too late and says he is pretty drunk so she urges him to let loose and have fun. They start out dancing apart and then come together. Their dance turns from stiff and dead to alive and passionate as they soon begin to have their arms all over each other as a TV crew for a news station catches them. Meanwhile, Chelsea is flipping through channels. Abby asks her to turn the TV off and to listen to her but Chelsea stops on a channel with a dance competition. Abby then asks her what she is so fixated on. Chelsea tells Abby she told her guys like Max liked bad girls and that good girls finish last. Abby is confused and then see Cassie and Max dancing onsceen seductively. Abby is stunned and hurt. Chelsea looks on coldly, seemingly with no reaction at all.

    -Kayla sees no one and thinks she just heard the wind or someone leaving their room. She looks at a picture of Steve and vows that she won't give up until she finds him and they get their family and lives back. Meanwhile, Kayla is spied on from out the window. The man then calls someoen. It's Stefano!! The man tells Stefano that Kayla has arrived. Stefano is pleased and says she is the key to his getting revenge on Victor and his enemies. He tells the man to begin phase two of the plan-to help Kayla along to making a little shocking discovery. The man understands and hangs up. Stefano laughs and then looks at a little monitor on his pocket TV. A man is seen walking from behind in what looks like a cell. He is strangely calm for someone in a cell. Stefano says that soon he will have a visitor and then the plan will be in motion and it will lead all his enemies, especially Victor Kiriakis, into his trap. He laughs sadistically as he watches the prisoner on the monitor.

    -Sami thinks it is time. She tells Will to go to Lucas's and bring everyone over. Will is confused. Sami says she told some people to go there and wait until sent for them. There is something she really needs to announce. Will goes to Lucas's and informs everyone. Celeste tells Abe she feels something big is about to happen that will affect them. Abe is curious but then gets a page that Lexie has awakened from the coma. Abe tells Roman to apologize to Sami but Celeste and him need to go. Roman understands and they both head for the hospital. Roman, Eric, Nicole Shane, Austin, Lucas, and Kate join Will at Sami's. Roman asks what is going on. Sami says she has something to tell them all. Roman fills Sami in on where Abe and Celeste are and tells Sami to go ahead. Sami tells them all she has been thinking alot and she needs to make some major changes in her life. It is time for her to grow up and she hopes this will help her with that. She knows she is giving up alot but she feels she needs to do this. She wants her son and all of them to be proud of her. Kate tells her to spit it out already. Sami is now ready and tells them all about how when Austin returned to Salem a year ago she thought it was fate. They grew closer working together and she thought things would go well with them, even with Nicole in the way. Nicole smirks. Eric tells Sami to move this along. Sami remembers finding out Austin still loved Carrie and from that moment on she felt like the second choice again and it bothered her. She didn't want to lose again as she has lost enough so she took extreme matters when it seemed Carrie and Austin were on the brink of reuniting. She confesses knowing about Highstyle but not saying anything and watching Austin take over the company of the love of his life. Austin is appalled but Lucas remembers knowing too but keeps mum. Sami then says that Carrie and Austin seemed to be reuniting anyway so she went to Lexie. She had caught Lexie having sex with Tek in the park and she used that info to blackmail her into helping her break up Carrie and Austin. Lucas asks what she did this time. Sami says it was the worst thing ever and she regrets it and she promises never to scheme and plot again. She has learned her lesson. Austin asks what Sami made Lexie do. Sami says she told Lexie to come up with something to break them up and she came up with telling Carrie she couldn't have children with Austin because they would have birth defects. Everyone is stunned. Lucas and Austin are appalled, as are Eric and Roman. Will is stunned. Nicole laughs and says it seems Sami has struck out again. Kate looks on satisfied saying that Sami is going down and will never resurrect herself from this one. Lucas and Austin look at Sami, who begins to break down saying she hopes they will forgive her. The room is silent except for Sami's cries as the screen fades out on a desperate for forgiveness Sami and then fades to black.

    -Hope begs Shawn and Bo to make up. Alice calls Shawn over and reminds him that what he is getting into is very dangerous. Life is too short and he would never forgive himself if something happened and he never made things right with his father or anyone else in Salem he cares about. Alice also reminds Shawn that their family has always been able to forgive because everyone makes mistakes. Shawn looks at Bo. He walks over and tells Bo he doesn't know if he will ever forget his part in Zach's death or his supporting Chelsea. He understands she is his daughter but all she has done is destroy lives. He does promise to try to move on from this and to try to forgive him. Bo appreciates that. Hope then asks them to hug. They do and Hope looks on happily along with Alice, Caroline, Doug, and Julie.

    -Shawn realizes that he should say goodbye to some people now as he won't see them before he leaves in the morning. He hugs Abby, Frankie, and Jack who all wish him well. He hugs Shane, Abe, and Roman. Roman wishes him well and thanks him. Shawn asks for what. Roman says he knows he is doing this for Belle and Philip among other reasons and he says he is proud of the man he is becoming. Cassie arrives. Caroline asks what she is doing there. Cassie says she heard Shawn was leaving and has been looking everywhere (in reality, Cassie is spying for Stefano and using her past connection with the Brady's to do so). Shawn tells Cassie he isn't leaving until tomarrow. Cassie says goodbye to him and thanks him as he was the one that found Rex and her. Shawn recalls the times Cassie and him spent together and says they were definitely unique. They laugh. Shawn says goodbye to Maggie and hugs her. He tells Maggie he misses Uncle Mickey too and he hopes she gets better and makes it through this. It is what he would want. Maggie nods. Shawn embraces Laura and then makes his way to Doug and Julie. Julie, with tears flowing, begs him to be careful. Doug seconds that and says he is proud of him for doing this. They all three hug. Caroline then wishes him well and tells him that Grandpa Shawn would be proud of him. Shawn says he hopes he makes them all proud. Alice says she is sure he will and she knows Tom and Mickey will look after him. Shawn hugs Alice and says he will miss her. He recalls the special times they shared together. Alice begs him not to get into as much trouble as he did when he searched for her ruby. They laugh. Shawn tells them all he loves them. Bo asks Shawn if he is going to say goodbye to him. Shawn says not tonight. He wants to save some for tomarrow and he does have to get going as he has some stuff to pick up. Hope asks if he needs help. Shawn says he will be fine and wishes everyone well and leaves. Hope tells Bo and everyone else that she doesn't know how she will deal with this. She asks Bo what will happen if something happens to Shawn. Bo promises he will be fine.

    -Caroline overhears Doug, Julie, and Laura talking about Maggie. Laura says that they are still putting the plan in motion that they hope will help Maggie. Caroline says she thinks they should also be worried about her returning involvement with Victor. Maggie overhears and asks what Caroline's problem is. She asks why her and everyone else is so worried about her being around Victor. Caroline says it's not good for either of them with everything going on and she thought Maggie understood that. Maggie says she understands quite clear and she thinks that Caroline is the one that should be staying away from Victor. All she does is hurt the man and now she is trying to her from being a friend to him like he has been to her. Maggie tells Caroline and everyone else to stay out of her life and leaves. Alice tells Caroline, Doug, Julie, and Laura that they need to back off a bit before they push Maggie further away. Alice says Maggie just needs to find her own way. Laura, Doug, and Julie take Alice home while Caroline ponders why Maggie and Victor spending time together bothers her so much as they are only friends. She says that Maggie is right-all she does is hurt Victor but she has no choice as this is for her family's sake.

    -Cassie asks Abby why Max isn't with her. Abby says Max is with Chelsea. Cassie says she was at the hospital and Chelsea was with Kate and Max was nowhere to be found. Cassie sees that Abby gets upset at the mention of Max's name and asks if something is wrong. Abby tells Cassie that everything is fine. Cassie remembers how happy Max and Abby were when Chelsea and her saw them at Salem Place. Cassie suggests that the bublle must've burst and now it seems Abby can join Chelsea in the loser's club since she struck out with Max. Abby tells Cassie to back off. Cassie tells Abby she is sure that Max will come back to her if Abby gives him what he needs unless Chelsea gives it to him first. Abby hauls off and slaps Cassie, calling her a bitch. Jack and Frankie asks what happened. Abby says it was nothing. Jack says that Cassie seemed like a nice girl and was a comfort to him while trapped in the castle. He doesn't understand why Abby would hit her or anyone. Abby reluctantly apologizes to Cassie and tells her father it was a misunderstanding. Jack apologizes to Cassie too and asks what happened. Cassie says it was nothing. Jack walks away and asks Frankie what just happened. Frankie says it must be a girl thing. Cassie smirks at Abby and leaves while Abby coldly stares at her as she leaves.

    -Victor's doorbell rings. Henderson is off so Victor answers to see Shawn there. Shawn says he was picking up some stuff and thought he should come by and say goodbye as he won't have time in the morning. He asks Victor if he harbors any bad feelings towards him for the Philip situation. Victor says he doesn't although he has issues with Belle for not going with Philip. Shawn says that is partly why he is leaving. He hates seeing what she has become because of their relationship and he wants to honor Philip in a way by doing this. Victor says that he is proud of him and that Philip would be proud. He tells Shawn to be careful as there is enough tragedy going on. They embrace. Victor walks him out. Victor goes back to his drink and paper when the doorbell rings again. He opens the door to Maggie. Maggie is crying and says she went home and she wanted another drink to deal with the pain but she doesn't want a repeat of the night before. Being around Victor helps with dealing with the grief and temptation so she asks if she can stay with him for the night. Victor lets her in and says of course she can. They embrace and Maggie says she doesn't care what anyone says as they are friends and they need each other. Victor agrees and says he will always be there to help her just like she has been there for him. He walks her into the living room.

    -Billie asks Bo how he is doing. Bo says he is frustrated and has alot on his mind. Billie begs Bo not to head down the wrong path and go all vigilante on them all. Bo says he will do what he feels he has to but he has to think first. He is frustrated and something needs to be done. He will not stand by and watch his loved ones continue to get hurt and suffer at the hands of the Dimera's and other threats. Their daughter got raped twice and the second time was because of a flaw in the system. Bo tells Billie no one will stop him from doing whatever he feels he needs to do. Bo walks away. Jack asks if everything is ok. Billie says she is afraid for Bo and for everyone that cares for him.

    -Roman, Shane and Abe are talking. Abe asks Roman if he has spoken with Bo. Roman says Bo won't even look at him and he doesn't want to start something with Shawn leaving. Roman then gets a surprised look on his face and tells Abe he just thought of something very interesting. Shane asks what it is but Roman stays silent and says he doesn't know. He needs to think it out a little more first.

    -Hope asks Bo if he will be there in the morning to say goodbye to Shawn. He says he will and is happy Shawn and him made up. Hope asks if this has changed his mind at all about taking the law into his own hands. Bo tells her what he told Billie-he has alot of thinking to do and he will do whatever he feels is necessary. Hope tells Bo that she is ready to talk and work things out and they need each other with Shawn leaving and everything else. Bo asks Hope where she was weeks ago when he wanted to talk. Bo tells Hope he can't talk with her right now as he has to think about some things and needs to work on proving he did not kill Chelsea's rapists. He also is determinded to protect the people he loves from now on as he will not stand by anymore and watch all this tragedy. Something needs to be done no matter what it is and how far he needs to go. Hope tells Bo she is scaring him. Bo says it is scary because nothing is being done but he is going to make sure it does. Hope tells Bo to let the right people handle it. Bo reminds Hope they are both cops so they are the right people but the system and doing things by the book has failed him too many times. If he needs to go an alternate route to see justice served, so be it. Hope begs Bo again but Bo pushes her away. He reminds her that if she had told him about Chelsea's rape sooner or even let him do what he wanted to with the rapists in the alley, it is possible things would've never gotten as bad as they are. Hope apologizes but says Chelsea made her promise and Victor knew as well. Plus, she couldn't just let him lose control and kill those guys. Bo says Victor is not his wife and she had a obligation to tell him. As for the rapists, she and most people already think he killed them so maybe Hope should've let him do it then and there even though he was merely trying to scare a confession out of them. He looks at Hope and says he is not going to defend or explain himself or his motivation to her or anyone else. He takes off and slams the door behind him. Billie, Jack, Frankie, Abby, Caroline, Roman, Abe, and Shane look on in horror along with Hope as she cries for Bo to come back and not to do this as the screen fades to black and the credits roll.

    On the next "Salem Lives:"

    Victor to Maggie: What are you saying?
    Maggie to Victor: You are my strength and the only thing keeping me from falling apart and I don't know why.
    Kayla: Is someone there?
    Stefano: Kayla Johnson is the key to destroying the lives of my enemies and, most of all, Victor Kiriakis.
    Hope (with Bo) to Shawn: We will miss you.
    Belle: I am not letting you go just yet Shawn.
    Abby to Chelsea: Where's Max?
    Chelsea to Abby: You mean he isn't with you?
    Cassie to Max: What do you say you and I steam up the dance floor?
    Sami: There is something I need to tell you all.

    -Sami and Lucas arrive at her apartment and are embraced by Will (now being played by Jeremy Sumpter) . Will says it has felt like ages since he has seen them. He asks where Austin is. Sami explains that Austin had some business to take care of and that Kate went to check on Chelsea. Sami and Lucas fill Will in on Carrie and the letter. Will is upset and asks when their family is ever going to be norma. Someone is always being kidnapped or leaving if it isn't one of his mother's schemes ruining their lives. Sami insists her scheming days are behind her as she knows it hurts Will alot. Sami remembers her scheme with Lexie and promises herself that plot was it. Lucas leaves to make some phone calls as he is not giving up looking for Carrie. Sami is bothered by Lucas's feelings for Carrie. Will tells Sami he hopes she meant it and that she is done manipulating because the family is a mess right now and they don't need her keeping secrets that always find a way of coming out. Sami says everything is fine and he has nothing to worry about. Will goes to do homework while Sami thinks about the lie Lexie and her told. Sami tried to keep Carrie and Austin apart but they still came together and now may even have a baby despite the lie created by Lexie and her that they couldn't together. Sami looks at Will and knows how much her plots have hurt him and she knows the family doesn't need anymore turmoil. She has spent most of her life chasing after men who don't see her as their first choice. Sami remembers thinking about this earlier and says that Carrie and Austin's affair is a sign that no matter what she does, nothing will change. She needs to begin anew and look at other options for romance rather then the roads she already has traveled. Sami realizes the time is now to change as she can't keep wasting her life like this. She needs to tell everyone the truth about the lie she created with Lexie as that is the first step to moving on. This is the right thing to do and she can't beleive she didn't realize it sooner as nothing was ever going to change with Austin and even Lucas. They both see Carrie as their dream girl and she is merely a backup. She can't do that anymore and says it is time to she do things for herself and grow up from the immature Sami Brady that wants what everyone else has. She needs to earn it instead of force it. She knows what she needs to do-starting with announcing the truth to everyone about her plot to break up Carrie and Austin. Meanwhile, Lucas calls a PI and continues to work to find Carrie. He vows not to give up as he knows she is still out there and he is not just going to let her stay away.

    -Stefano is by Lexie's bedside and vows once again to protect her and to get revenge on Victor and his loved ones for what happened to her. Cassie arrives and asks how Lexie is. Stefano says there is no change. Cassie asks about his plans for revenge. Stefano says the plans are already in motion and he thanks Cassie for telling him Kayla left as that info, combined with his aid informing him she went to Austrailia, will come in handy. Stefano tells Cassie that Kayla is the key as she will find what she is looking for only to fall right into a trap he has laid. Her loved ones will come looking for her and will be walk into the trap. Victor will soon be drawn out and then Stefano will get involved and take care of Victor himself to pay him back for nearly killing his daughter. Cassie says it sounds good and insists she be a part of it as she wants a place in the Dimera empire and legacy. Stefano says that Cassie has already proven her worth with bringing him info about Kayla and Victor. He encourages her not to show her true colors and to act as close to the Brady's as possible to get any info she can. Cassie vows to do whatever she needs to as she wants to please Stefano and prove himself to him. Stefano is confident she will and is also confident the plan will work out perfectly.

    -Kayla is still on the plane to Austrailia. She flashes back her first meeting with Steve and how they fell in love. She recalls his "death" and everything Patrick told her about it. She vows to get more answers but she first wants to find the love of her life and she will do whatever it takes. She will not lose him again...to anyone.

    -Belle asks everyone in the room if they really want Shawn to leave. The Brady and Horton families need him at this time and nobody wants to risk losing Shawn in battle. Philip nearly died in battle and both families have lost so many lives recently already that they couldn't deal with losing him. Shawn explains he needs to do this for Philip, for Belle, for those he loves, and for himself. He wants to serve his country and just feels this is something he has to do. Plus, he can do it out of respect for Philip. Caroline applauds him. Belle asks if anyone is going to help her convince Shawn to stay. Alice tells Belle that Shawn needs to follow his own path to find himself and that if she loves him she will let him. Belle asks Hope if she is going to stop it. Hope says she will if he doesn't make up with Bo but, other then that, no she won't stop it. Belle is stunned no one is going to stop it and she runs out in tears. Shawn runs out after her.

    -Roman, Shane and Abe decide to go out and look for Bo as Hope wants him at the house to be with Shawn and the family. They leave. Billie admits to Jack she is worried about Bo. Jack is sure he will be fine but Billie says she can't remember seeing him like this. Abby comments that it seems Bo and Chelsea are going through the same type of rebellion by pushing people they love away. Frankie worries Bo may get in over his head, prompting Caroline and Hope to look on worried and wondering where Bo is.

    -Bo is walking the pier and thinking about recent events and what Victor said. Bo has nothing to lose as he has nothing right now and the system has let him down more times then not. Bo wonders if maybe it is time for a change and if he has to do isolate himself from family and friends, like Victor, is to protect them and have justice served then so be it. Shane finds him and says Hope wants to see him at the house. Bo is hesistant but Shane tells Bo that Shawn is getting ready to leave and Hope wants him there to see if things can be worked out. Bo doesn't think so as Shawn hates him but Shane tells him it is worth a shot as he will be in alot of danger as a marine. Bo understands and says he will come but only for Shawn. He has alot to think about and he really doesn't want to see anyone right now but seeing Shawn is important. They head for Hope's.

    -Caroline asks Maggie why she is so behind Victor again as she demonstrated earlier by asking if Victor may be right about the justice system. Doug and Julie wonder the same. Maggie just thinks he could be right and that it is unfair to discount his opinion based on his past. Maggie reminds them all to backoff or she will leave as she didn't want to come but did anyway. She was being nice showing up. She walks off and tells them all they can beleive what they do just as she can. Doug, Julie, Caroline, and Laura don't like Maggie being around Victor again and seeing her defend his return to his old ways. Alice thinks they shouldn't panic and should just set the plan they decided on in motion. Doug and Julie fill Caroline in on the plan by whispering and ask her to keep it quiet. Laura thinks that will be wise and beleives it is better to worry more and weigh other options to help Maggie after they see how this plan works.

    -Shawn gives Belle a tissue and tells her to stop crying. Belle says she is crying because she doesn't want to lose him. He reminds her they are cousins and that their relationship has caused more harm then good. He tells her she should be with Philip as he is her husband and the father of her child. She promised him she would be there and she let her feelings for him keep her in Salem. Shawn tells Belle that she would never do that years ago but their wanting to be together and desperation to be together has changed the both of them. It can't continue as too many, especially Philip, have been hurt. Shawn says that is why he is leaving as they can;t be together and him leaving will give her the opportunity to fix her marriage or start again. She can't do anything with him there and he wants to go. He hopes he can make it up to his family and to Philip as he has caused alot of damage over the years with his actions. Belle says she can't just let him go. Shawn says she will have to as she has no choice. Belle says she won't. Shawn grabs her and angrily tells her to accept that he is leaving tomarrow and that they are through. They have to be through. Belle runs away an emotional wreck. Shawn goes back in the house, despite his hating Belle leaving like that, where Hope asks if everything is ok. Shawn says it will be. Abe and Roman arrive and tells everyone that Shane is bringing Bo. Right on cue, Shane walks in with Bo. Bo joins Shawn and Hope. Shawn asks why he is there. Bo says that he was asked to be there and Hope admits she sent Roman, Abe, and Shane out because they need to be together as a family. They have been through so much and now he is leaving. Life is too short and if something should happen to Shawn in combat or to either her or Bo at home, then this could be the last time they see each other. Shawn understands. Hope tells Bo and Shawn that this may be their last chance to work things out. She begs them to begin to unite their family, not drive it further apart. Bo and Shawn stare at each other as everyone in the room, especially Hope, hopes things take a turn for the better as the screen fades to black and the credits roll.

    On the next "Salem Lives:"

    Hope to Bo and Shawn: Either you two get over this or neither one of you is going anywhere.
    Billie to Bo: I know you are frustrated but...
    Bo to Billie: I have to do something Billie and neither you or anyone else can stop me.
    Roman to Abe: I just thought of something very interesting.
    Cassie to Abby: Seems you lost out on the Max race too...perhaps you and yoru buddy Chelsea can sulk in the loser's club together.
    Abby to Cassie: You bitch!!! (slaps Cassie)
    Maggie to Caroline: What is going on Caroline? Why is you and everyone else so worried about Victor and I?

    -Carrie watches as Alan lies asleep, recovering from his injuries. She can't beleive she is here with him and how much he has changed. She also can't beleive she made Shane take that letter to her loved ones but she had to do it. She can't hit the people she loves, especially Austin and Lucas and even Sami. She sees Alan tossing and turning and wonders what he is dreaming about. Alan begins to cry out for the guard to open the cell. Carrie sees him shaking and violently tossing all over the place. Alan yells out for the guard not to leave him alone. Carrie grabs hold of him and assures him it's ok. She is there for him and is not going anywhere. Alan wakes up and pushes Carrie away, asking what she is doing. Carrie explains he was having a nightmare and she just tried to comfort him. Alan begs her not to do that again. He is a man and doesn't need her help in trying to comfort him. He can get through it. Carrie understands. Alan thanks her for everything. Carrie is about to ask about the nightmare but backs off, seeing how flustered Alan is. She wonders what the nightmare was about and if it has anything to do with his past experience in prison.

    -Sami is still stunned by learning of Carrie and Austin's affair and his belief the baby is his. Austin sees Sami and asks if something is wrong. Sami lies and says no. They return to Kate, Roman, Shane, and Lucas. Roman says he needs to go and that it is time for all of them to leave now that the search is over. Roman and Shane leave together. Lucas tells Kate and Austin that he isn't giving up and thinks they should try to find Carrie. Austin agrees but says they need to do something about the danger in Salem and then maybe Carrie will come back on her own. Lucas thinks it is a great idea but Kate worries about the danger involved. Sami overhears everything and she can see how much both Lucas and Austin love Carrie. She remembers how she was thinking recently about why she always goes after men who would rather be elsewhere and now it is clear both Lucas and Austin want Carrie and not her. Sami contemplates whether it may be time to start anew and to stop chasing after men and dreams that will probably never happen. It has been far too long and has tried every trick in the book and she has nothing after all these years. Austin asks if Sami is ready to go home. She says yes and they all head for home.

    -Shawn is on his way out of his loft. He has all his bags packed and is prepared to leave Salem for the marines. He closes his door and Belle is waiting for him outside. Belle once again begs Shawn to reconsider this and to stop pushing her away. Shawn says he has to and she needs to get used to him not being here. He tells Belle he is leaving and she can't stop it. Belle says she will stop it and that she is not letting him go. Shawn has to see his mother as she called him and he is going to say his goodbyes tonight so he must go. He tells Belle it would be best if she just let this go. He leaves as Belle vows not to let him go.

    -Alice, Doug, Julie, Laura, Maggie, Caroline, Frankie, Jack, Billie, Abby, and abe have all gathered at Hope's. Hope explains to her the fears she concerning Bo. Shane and Roman arrive late and Roman asks Hope what she thinks they should do. Hope says they need to do whatever it takes to save Bo from himself. Billie agrees and says she understands Bo's frustration with the system and how it led to Chelsea's second attack but Bo's is headed down a dangerous path and they need to pull him away from it. Laura beleives that Bo getting some counseling would be good but they may never get him to a session the way he is. Hope agrees and thinks Bo would fight it the whole way so counseling is useless. Jack thinks that Bo will come out of it fine but Frankie disagrees saying Bo is lost right now with everything that is going on in his life. Frankie then turns to Abby and asks where Max is. Abby says she thinks he won't be making it. Frankie asks why. Abby stays silent and then says she guesses he is busy. Caroline asks what they should do. Hope thinks they need to keep Victor away from him since all he is doing is encoruaging Bo in taking matters into his own hands. Maggie mentions to everyone that Victor could be right. Caroline is bothered by this and answers that Victor is not right and that is why Victor turned good for years before reverting back to his past ways. Caroline explains that Victor is hurting like Bo and that both of them are letting the anger and rage drive them to do things that will only make things worse. Hope is worried that Bo may have a side to him like Victor and that this may really get out of hand. Alice reminds Hope that she has been with Bo for years and that he has never been anything like Victor used to be. Julie agrees and adds that Victor is not what he was right now. He is not as ruthless as in the past. He is just frustrated and it seems he wants to protect those he loves, just like Bo. Shane and Abe both thinks they need to go out and find Bo. Shawn then arrives and apologizes for being late. Hope fills him in on what is happening. Shawn admits that he honestly doesn't care what his father does since he is leaving anyway. He then tells Hope that he mostly came over to say goodbye rather then help out with Bo. Hope says that Shawn is not leaving...not until he and his father can become at least civil with each other. Belle then walks in the open front door and says he isn't leaving anyhow if she has anything to say about it. Shawn tells Belle to stop but Belle says she needs everyone's attention as she is going to need all of them to help her convince Shawn to stay. Shawn tells Belle to back off and just give it up but Belle refuses and is confident that he is going nowhere.

    -Victor sits down with Bo at the Cheatin Heart. Bo asks him to get to the point and explain his offer. Victor explains that he beleives they are both on similar wavelengths right now based on what went down at the hospital earlier. Bo agrees. Victor knows that Bo knows of his involvement in the explosion that nearly killed Lexie. Victor explains he wants Stefano eliminated and that was the intention of the explosion only Lexie was in the building instead. Victor wants to wipe out his enemies and the enemies who pose a threat to his friends and family. The island was the last straw for him so he has targeted Ernesto and Stefano, among others. He tells Bo that the current justice system is flawed and that things hardly ever go as they should. They need to do something to protect their loved ones as they have been victimized long enough. Bo agrees and says Chelsea's rape was the last straw for him. Victor again apologizes for not telling him. Bo tells him to forget it and asks what he is proposing. Victor asks Bo to join him. Now is the perfect time as they are sharing similar philosophies and the people they love need them to protect them and end all this pain and suffering. The law has done nothing to stop this so it's time they did...together. He tells Bo he will have to make sacrificed like pushing away those he loves so he can protect them properly and do all that is necessary to make everything the way it should be. Only then will those they love be truly safe. Victor asks Bo to mull all that over and says he needs to go tend to business. He tells Bo to come to him when he has a response to his offer. Victor leaves as Bo asks for another drink. He recalls all the times the Dimera's have put his family through hell and the time that Ernesto nearly killed Hope. He also flashes back to seeing a bruised and battered Chelsea in the hospital. He tells the bartended he's done and tips him. He walks out of the bar and then asks himself if he can really do this and switch to an opposite side of the law to finally get results. He wonders if this is what has to be done to truly protect his loved ones from going through the hell they are right now. Bo looks up at the sky, almost as if he is searching for a sign to give him answers as to what to do as the screen fades to black and the credits roll.

    On the next "Salem Lives:"

    Sami: My son and I have suffered long enough. It's time for a change.
    Stefano to Cassie: Kayla Johnson is the key to getting revenge on Victor and all of my enemies.
    Belle to Shawn: I am not letting you go.
    Shawn to Belle: But I am letting you go.
    Hope: I am not giving up on Bo.
    Bo: I have lost everything already so I have nothing to lose. Perhaps I should put it all on the line and join Victor?

    -Roman confronts Shane once again and asks him if there is more he isn't saying about Carrie. Roman says it doesn't make sense she would just leave when she was pregnant. Shane reminds Roman of the island debacle and all the bad things happening in Salem, most recently the warehouse explosion. Shane beleives Carrie is afraid to reaise a child in that sort of environment with the Dimera's hanging around. Austin, Lucas, and Sami agree that could very well be a reason. Lucas wants to still track Carrie done. Shane thinks they should just respect her wishes and hope she changes her mind once things calm done.. Roman agrees that she may return once things get better. Roman takes Shane aside and fills him in on what is going on with Bo and the murders. Shane is shocked. Roman tells Shane the whole family is falling apart and Bo is pulling away from all the people he loves and from the law. Roman adds that Victor is only encouraging Bo and makings things worse. Shane wonders if things could get any worse. Roman says they are bound to as it seems Victor and Stefano are prepared to go to war with each other.

    -Sami comforts both Austin and Lucas. They both just want to be alone and leave Sami. Sami wonders if something else may be going on about Carrie as she isn't buying into it like everyone else, despite there being alot of danger around them. She doesn't beleive Carrie would just leave, especially while pregnant.

    - Abby can see that Max wants to go back in and be with Chelsea. Abby tells Max that she knows he still cares about Chelsea and that it's ok. She would expect nothing less of a guy like him. Billie and Kate are outside his room. Kate says she is going to go see what is happening with the search for Carrie. She tells Billie to call if she needs her and leaves. Jack offers to get Billie some coffee. Billie decides that they can go for a little walk as well. Max asks Billie if he can see Chelsea. She allows it but tells him to be easy on her. Max walks in and sees Chelsea, who is staring blank face at a wall. He says he hopes she doesn't mind he came in. He sits down and says he still cares about her and asks her why she never told him what happened. He never could understand why she was pushing him away but now he does. He could've helped her deal with being there for Josh's death and the rape. He tells her they can put all that in the past and just move on. He wants to be there for her and he begs her to let him. He tells Chelsea he thinks he has fallen in love with her. Chelsea turns around and coldly tells Max to leave. Max begs Chelsea to reconsider. He knows they broke up but only because he never knew what was going on. Chelsea tells him that he doesn't want her and that nobody does. She is a manipulating whore and she will never change. When she did change, it went nowhere and bad things still happened. She believes it is better to be bad. She tells Max to leave before she had security make him leave.

    -Abby is walking around when Frankie approaches her. He can tell something is wrong and asks if he can help. Abby fills him in about Max not being over Chelsea and she understands but she doesn't think Max sees her as someone he can be with. Frankie urges Abby to not give up and fight for Max. He thinks she should tell Max she is interested in being more then friends.

    -Jack and Billie talk about all the turmoil in their lives. Jack says she comforted him when he lost Jennifer and now he is going to help her deal with what is happening to her daughter. She thanks Jack. Jack also says he called Harold at The Spectator to make sure that Chelsea is not painted in a bad light. Billie thanks Jack and says she is happy she has had a friend like him over the years. He agrees and says he doesn't know where he would be without her these past few weeks. Billie says she had a promise to keep for Jennifer and a responsibility as a friend to her and him to be the best friend she can be. They embrace.

    -Caroline, Doug, and Julie are worried about Maggie being with Victor at the moment. Hope joins them and tells them what happened with Bo. Hope says she is really afraid for him and what he may do. Caroline thinks they need to get the whole family together to come up with a way to help. Hope agrees since she will need all the help she can get to help Bo. Caroline takes Hope aside and asks Hope if she gets through to Bo, does all this mean she wants him back after everything. Hope says that Bo and her have alot to work through but it's worth a shot. Someone does have to reach Bo before it's too late or, otherwise, there will be no chance at a reunion.

    -Maggie asks Victor what he isn't saying about the murders. Maggie beleives that Victor knows who did it and is protecting them. Victor tells Maggie to back off and asks what happened to staying away from each other. Maggie has no answer and thinks maybe it was meant for her to drop back into his life. Victor asks how long she has been drinking. Maggie denies drinking but Victor knows she did because she smelled of it when he found her near Chelsea. Maggie says she remembers finding a person lying on the ground and trying to help and then passing out so she must have been seeing Chelsea. Victor agrees. Maggie says that after she pushed Victor away she totally lost it. There was nothing to take her mind off the grief and pain of losing Mickey and blaming herself so she turned to the bottle and that is what happened. She admits that following Victor and being with him tonight has been the first time since they parted ways that she didn't think about Mickey and his death. Victor asks if she is saying she wants him back in her life. She says yes and she hugs him. Maggie says she doesn't want to drink again and that she hates herself for it. Victor says he will help her but that he has to go right now to take care of something. He says they will talk later and leaves.

    -Bo is walking the pier and is remembering his life with Hope and many of his capers as a police officer. He remembers Victor's words and everything that happened at the hospital. He wonders if Victor is right and if he is on the right path. Sometimes you have to do whatever is necessary no matter what if you want real justice and security for those you love, even if it means pushing them away. Bo ends up at the Cheatin Heart and begins to drown his sorrows as he continues to remember the past and Hope.

    -Frankie assures Abby that she will be ok and that it is best to be aggressive and put her heart on the line for Max. She thanks Frankie and embraces him. He wishes her luck and leaves.

    -Max begs Chelsea not to shut him and everyone else out. She tells Max one last time to get out. He leaves but not before saying he cares about her and knows she is in pain. He is not just going to let her go. She tells him he has to and that she has already let everything go as she deserves nothing. Max denies that is true but Chelsea tells him to get out again and he finally leaves. Abby asks how it went. Max says he doesn't want to talk about and that he just wants to be alone. He runs off as Abby wonders what is going on. Meanwhile, Chelsea remembers shooting Jason and Barry and also them raping her. She begins to rock back and forth while crying and saying she knew she did bad things. She then yells out why she is having to suffer so much, especially when she was trying to change. She throws her water pitcher against the wall and says she is through. She cares about nothing and no one anymore. She is for herself only and is done trying to be good. She admits she hopes her rapists are rotting in hell.

    -Billie again thanks Jack and says she needs to get back up to Chelsea. He walks her up and asks her to call if she needs anything. She tells him to do the same. He kisses her cheek and she smiles as he walks away, smiling himself.

    -Hope, Doug, Julie, and Caroline find Maggie and ask if she is alright. Maggie says she is fine and that she just wants to go home. Hope asks if she would come with them as they are all getting together to try to find a way to help Bo. Maggie doesn't think she is in a condition to be much help but Hope begs her to. Maggie reluctantly agrees. Julie tells Maggie she won't regret this. Maggie privately says she wants no part of being around her family after Mickey's death and her being the person to blame. The pressure and stress once again leads her to being tempted to drink once again.

    -Bo continues to down beers at the Cheatin Heart and begins to wonder if maybe he is making a mistake pushing Hope and his loved ones away and turning against everything he ever beleived in. He starts to doubt Victor's words and the effectiveness of taking the law into your own hands. Victor appears and says he knew he would find him there as he always goes there when he is upset. Victor tells Bo to beleive what he wants but asks that Bo mulls over an offer he has before he thinks any further about whose side he believes is right. Bo tells Victor he is listening.

    -Kate arrives and Roman and Shane fill her in on Carrie's letter. Kate doesn't beleive Carrie would just leave being pregnant. Roman reminds Kate of all the danger with the Dimera's around. Kate thinks that things still don't fit and that this is not like Carrie. Kate thinks something else is going on. Lucas returns and says he agrees.

    -Austin is in the woods and begins to lash out at the skies above. He asks why there is so much unhappiness and begs for answers as to why Carrie really left. He thinks there is more to it and thinks it may have something to do with her not knowing who the father is. He sees a shooting star and wishes that Carrie and the baby return. He thinks Carrie and him have a good chance at happiness after everything they have been through, especially if the baby is his like he thinks. Meanwhile, in the bushes nearby, Sami has overheard everything and is in shock. She can hardly beleive that Carrie and Austin made love behind their backs and that Carrie has no idea who the father is. Sami realizes that Carrie left because she didn'want to destroy Lucas or Austin and their family since she does not know the paternity. Sami looks at Austin and says she has lost him...just like she has lost Lucas too. The screen then fades to black and the credits roll.

    Sami: I can't do this anymore...maybe it's time to start anew.
    Carrie to Alan: It's ok...I'm here and I'm not going anywhere.
    Roman to Hope: What do you suggest we do, Hope?
    Hope to Roman: Whatever we have to do to save Bo from himself.
    Shawn to Belle: I am leaving and you are not going to stop me.
    Belle to Shawn: I wouldn't bet on that.
    Bo to Victor: What are you saying?
    Victor to Bo: I want you to join me, Bo. Join my organization...side with me.

    VICTOR AND BO: LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON?


    Victor (John Aniston) thinks he has a partner in his son, Bo (Peter Reckell).

    Bo's downward spiral takes him in a shocking direction this week on Salem Lives when he turns to his biological father, Victor. The week begins with Bo drowning his sorrows at the Cheatin Heart. "Bo is coming off bascially turning his back on his loved ones and calling it quits with Hope," previews HW Tim Lowery. "He is not in a good place but we start to see him wonder if he did the right thing and if he should make things right." Things change when Victor, who is looking for Bo, approaches him and they have a long talk. "Victor reiterates to Bo that he agrees with the actions Bo thinks is necessary to protect those he loves," says Lowery. "Victor tells Bo that the police and the current system have always had it wrong in that innocent people get punished while the guilty go free to hurt again and that is what happened with Chelsea and many of their loved ones." Victor leaves Bo with an open invitation to join his fight against Stefano and his enemies and to take action with guranteed results. "Bo is left wondering if Victor has it right and his ways are more effective. You may have to push loved ones away but if it protects them then you have to do it," notes Lowery. Bo does some soul searching and, by week's end, ends up on Victor's doorstep. "He asks Victor what he has to do and how far they need to go," previews Lowery. "Victor just tells him as far as they need to in order to protect the people they love." The question is...can Bo commit to this? "The fans will just have to wait and see," teases Lowery. "The war is just beginning and the dividing lines are just being drawn. The real drama is still yet to come," promises Lowery.

    SALEM LIVES STUNNER: SAMI COMES CLEAN!!!


    Sami (Alison Sweeney) learns a secret...and admits her own!!!

    Sami makes yet another surprising decision this week on Salem Lives when she admits her scheme to break up Carrie and Austin. The week begins with everyone reacting to Shane's reading of Carrie's letter. "For starters, no one is really buying what was in the letter," says HW Tim Lowery. "Roman, Austin, Lucas, and even Sami question it." Austin and Lucas then think about the island and all the bad things happening in Salem of late. "They start to think that it may make sense and that Carrie may be afraid to raise a child in Salem with the Dimera's around and so on," notes Lowery. During all this, Austin goes off on his own and just starts lashing out about missing Carrie and what could be his child. Austin is unaware that Sami hears everything from Austin admitting his love for Carrie to Austin's belief that Carrie's child is his. "Sami feels burned but also isn't surprised," says Lowery. "She has been wondering of late whether she should start anew romantically away from Lucas and Austin because they both love Carrie and now this happens. She had suspicions here and there but now it's a reality she must face." After hearing Austin, Sami realizes the real reason Carrie left is because she didn't know who the baby's father was and didn't want to destroy The Roberts/Reed family and all their lives. "It's typical Carrie as Sami realizes and Sami just starts thinking about why she has wasted all these years going after Austin and Lucas, both of whom have Carrie on a pedestal," previews Lowery. "She returns home to Will and he mentions how he always hoped one day their family would be stabile and he would have somewhat of a normal life. Sami realizes her problems with relationships are a main contributer to that." By week's end, Sami has collected her thoughts and decides yet again to do something that is very unlike her. "She chose to tell everyone about Carrie a few week's ago, which was a change, and now this," notes Lowery. "She calls everyone in and tells them about the lie Lexie and her collaborated on to break up Austin and Carrie. What happens after that is just pure drama and hell for Sami," laughs Lowery.

    -Caroline begs both Roman and Bo to stop fighting. Abe helps to break up the fight. Hope gets involved and takes Bo aside to ask what is wrong with him. She doesn't ever remember seeing so much rage from him. Bo reminds Hope that everyone is accusing him before they know anything and they are looking at him like he has 3 heads for wanting to protect Chelsea when the law doesn't. Bo tells Hope those men deserved to die but it doesn't mean he killed them. Roman says to Bo that everything he says almost hints around a confession of sorts. He asks Bo to give him a statement. Bo tells Roman he has a statement-he is through with him and with everyone else here. If they can't all see he is justified in taking matters into his own hands then they don't give a damn about justice or him and his daughter. Roman mentions to Bo that what he just said sounds like he is admitting involvement in the murders once again. Bo says he thought about killing them at one point but he merely want to catch them and get the truth out of them. He would beat the hell out of them but that is it. Roman says even that thought is a bad idea. Bo asks Roman what he would do. Sami was raped once and Bo is sure Roman wanted to kill Alan for it. Roman says he didn't know he was Roman then but sees Bo's point. He tells Bo it is still wrong and even beating the men to a pulp is wrong. Roman admits he may think the same way but he would find the strength to control himself and go by the book. Bo says he is through going by the book-he is through with everything. He is not going to let his daughter or anyone else he loves get hurt because they have to do things by the book. Frankie interupts and tells Bo he can represent him. Bo tells Frankie he doesn't need any help from anyone. He is through. His family can't seem to understand and they beleive so easily he would resort to murder it makes him wonder. He runs off. Hope goes after him. Dpug and Julie try to stop her as Bo needs to cool off but Hope goes anyway.

    -Caroline is approached by Victor. Caroline says it all is falling apart. Victor notes that Caroline is going to say it started with their affair. Caroline agrees and blames Victor for encouraging Bo tonight to turn against him family and be a vigilante. Victor says he never did anything like that and that Bo is thinking on his own, despite Victor agreeing with him. Caroline can't beleive Victor has become what he swore he would never become again. Victor says he had no choice-he can't be a pathetic old geezer anymore. He needs to be ruthless and get the message out that Victor Kiriakis will strike back and do anything to protect his loved ones. Caroline says she can't condone the actions Victor is taking. Lexie already nearly got killed. Victor reminds Caroline there is no proof he caused that explosion. Caroline knows he did and is disappointed in him resorting to this and to justify it as saying he is protecting his loved ones is ridiculous. Victor explains that maybe it is besy they don't see each other as he can't have her getting in the way and judging him left and right. Victor explains that this is who he really is, not that pod Victor of the last 10 or so years. He has to do what is necessary-even if that means losing Caroline's respect. Caroline understands and asks if Victor is turning his back on her. Victor says apparently he is-he is turning his back on her and her family as they will do nothing but get in the way of what he needs to do. He says he has to do what is necessary. Caroline says she doesn't know who he is anymore and runs off. Victor privately says he is sorry but that he has to do this. Maggie, who has been overhearing, appears and asks if Victor is ok. Victor says as long as everyone he cares about is protected he will be. Doug and Julie see Maggie and Victor talking and are concerned about what may be going on as it seems Maggie is headed back in Victor's orbit right when he is returning to the underworld.

    -Belle tries to reach out to Shanw but he rejects her by giving her the cold shoulder. Finally, he says goodbye to Doug and Julie and tells them to tell his parents he went home to start packing as he is leaving tomarrow. Doug and Julie are proud of him and say they will be there to see him off and will tell everyone where he went. Shawn looks at Belle and then walks off. Belle tearfully heads for the elevator saying she can't be around people while going through this. She leaves.

    -Billie and Kate are caring for Chelsea, who seems to be having nightmares about the trauma she has endured. Max is outside. Abby knows he wants to go in. Max doesn't know if he should. Abby says she will go with him. They walk in as Chelsea wakes up to see Billie, Kate, Max, and Abby all there. She remembers the rape and all the awful things she was called. Chelsea grabs her head and starts yelling "No!!" Billie asks what is wrong. Chelsea tells them all to just get the hell out of her room. She doesn't want them there as she knows no one wants her. She is a lying and manipulative bitch as well as a whore. She is dirty and feels like scum. She doesn't deserve anyone. Max says he knows about her rape and it's ok. He just wants to be there for her. Chelsea tells them all to just leave. A nurse comes in and sedates her. They all leave where the nurse tells them to stay out until the doctor clears visitors again when Chelsea is calm. Billie is worried about her daughter and if she can make it through this. Kate comforts her. Abby reaches out to Max but he asks to be alone and walks off. Jack comes over and mentions that Abby must really like Max. Abby insists they are just friends. Jack says that she seems to want something more. Abby says maybe but she doesn't know if he does or if wants to make things work with Chelsea even though he broke up with her. Jack says he likes Max and it would be ironic considering Frankie and Jennifer. He encourages Abby to go after him but don't obsess. There are other men and he warns her to not set herself up for a fall. She promises not to. They hug. Max is on the roof thinking about Chelsea. He begins to lash out on why she has to go through what she is. He asks God to make Chelsea let him in so he can help. He wants to help and needs to. Frankie joins him and says that Max will get his chance. Max, who is holding back tears, and Frankie embrace as Frankie comforts him. Max breaks down in tears and repeatedly asks why this is happening as Frankie shrugs to say he has no clue.

    -Austin, Lucas, and Sami aid in the search for Carrie. They wonder where Shane went. Shane then comes out of nowhere in the woods. Lucas asks where he has been. Shane says he has news and they need to call Roman. They all gather at the search command center. Roman arrives asking what is up. Shane gives Roman a letter he says is from Carrie. It explains that Alan was released from prison and mistakenly ended up on the island where they all were. He saved her life as the life of her and her baby were in danger and he brought her to a cabin near Green Mountain where he nursed her back to health and protected her as they still felt danger could be possible from the masterminds behind the island. She did not trust Alan before but she does now. She left the cabin last night to call home to meet them. Alan saved her life by pushing her out of the way of falling debris. Roman notes to himself that this is the cause of the torn jacket and blood. Carrie also explains how, given her trouble conceiving and the baby possibly heaving health problems as a result of her medical issues, she had to leave them all behind. She just couldn't take the pressure of raising her child in Salem as it may not be totally healthy and she just can't be around them all right now. She has mroe reasons but doesn't wish to discuss them. She says Alan is gone and that she plans to travel the world with the baby and spend time with her mother. Austin and Lucas ask Roman what the note says. He privately tells them the parts about Alan and then tells Sami everything minus the Alan stuff. Austin and Lucas are stunned and don't think this makes sense for Carrie. They agree something else is going on. Roman agrees and he asks Shane what is really up. Meanwhile, Carrie is tending to Alan and she tells Alan she is so happy Shane agreed to help. She just hopes everyone buys it as she couldn't come up with anything else. Alan thanks her for taking care of everything. Carrie says he did it for her and now she is returning the favor. She kisses his forehead as he smiles.

    -Doug and Julie bump into an upset Caroline. They ask her what is wrong. She says it's Victor-he has returned to form. Julie asks if that means the "old" ruthless Victor. Caroline nods. Julie is worried about Maggie now.

    -Victor tells Maggie they have to talk about what she saw. He drags her off but she tells Victor as he pulls her with him that she knows he didn't kill the men and that they were dead when he got there. She does know he intended to kill them and brought Nico with him. Victor says she is right. Maggie asks him why he didn't tell the police the story. Victor says he had his reasons. Maggie asks Victor, since he was on the scene before her since hse lagged behind, if he saw who killed Jason and Barry. Victor is silent.

    -Hope catches up to Bo and begs him to listem. Bo insists he is through listening to everyone. They all don't beleive in him and are willing to support a system that lets two men out of jail to hurt his daughter again and endanger others. He tells Hope that none of this happens if she just tells him right away. Hope says Victor could've too but Bo says she is his wife and that is what hurts. He can't trust her. Hope says she can't trust him and she says he is right as she is one that didn't beleive in him and followed the same pattern tonight. She believed too easily he slept with Billie and now she instantly jumps to support the theory that Bo killed Jason and Barry. Bo says if Hope had not interupted and just let him do what he had to they would never have been free. Hope says she thought he would kill them as Bo tells Hope she beleives the same thing now. Hope says they have major issues. Bo says they have too many. Hope mentions Shawn and that he is most likely leaving town because the family is falling apart. Bo guesses that Hope is blaming that on him. She admits partly she is because he lied about Zack's death and to protect Chelsea. Bo says that Hope seems to be getting past her ill feelings towards Chelsea but now, given how she kept Chelsea's rape a secret and interupted him with Jason and Barry, he wonders if Hope is taking pleasure out of Chelsea's pain. Hope can't beleive he would say that and accuse her of that just as Bo wonders how she could instantly accuse him of sleeping with Billie in February and of killing those two men tonight. Hope says they just don't seem to know or trust each other anymore. Bo agrees and says this must be it. Hope asks if Bo is saying they are through. Bo says it seems that way and, after hesistation, says they are through. There is too much damage and he has lost faith in everything, including their relationship. He tells Hope it's over. Hope is stunned and asks if it is for good. Bo answers yes and that it is for good. Tears stream down Hope's eyes as Bo seems to be fighting back tears of his own and then he walks away. Hope starts to follow but then breaks down crying and crumples to the floor. Bo goes in the stairwell and privately breaks down.

    -Billie and Kate watch Chelsea and wonder who did kill Jason and Barry. Billie says she hopes it was Victor but Bo was so mad and Chelsea was missing. Billie refuses to beleive Chelsea did it...or Bo. Kate and her go get some coffee. Abe approaches them and says they have a break in the murder case but it isn't good news. Billie asks what it is. Abe says that the gun used for the murders belonged to Bo. Meanwhile, a sedated Chelsea is have nightmares about both of her rapes and being beaten and verbally abused by the men. Chelsea says repeatedly that they had to pay and then says they did pay...with their lives. Chelsea flashes back in her sleep to breaking into Bo's car in the hospital lot and stealing the gun from his holster in the secret compartment of the glove compartment (where she remembers he had one in case of emergencies). We then see her find Jason and Barry only to shoot them both twice and kill them. Chelsea wakes up from the flashback and nightmares and says no one can know she killed them as the screen fades to black and the credits roll.

    -At the hospital, everyone reacts to the news of Chelsea being missing. Roman is suspicious that she is gone and now her rapists are dead. Billie and Kate tell Roman that there is no way Chelsea killed the men. A nurse runs out and tells Billie they found her daughter in the stairwell. Roman follows Billie and Kate to Chelsea. Abby looks at Max and mentions that he isn't over Chelsea. Max says he will have to be if he wants to move on. Abby asks if he is going to go see her. Max says not right now and he is not sure if he wants to get involved. Max privately wonders if Chelsea pushing him away has something to do with her being attacked.

    -Roman, Billie, Hope, and Kate barge in to Chelsea room asking where she has been. Chelsea says she went to look for her father and couldn't find him. Roman says her father left the hospital and no one knows where he is. Billie asks why she left the 9th floor as all of them are on that floor so if she were looking for Bo she would not have to leave it. Chelsea explains she thought he went out to get some air and she went outside to look. The nurse asks that the questions stop as Chelsea is getting upset and that isn't good right now. They all leave. Kate and Billie refuse to beleive Chelsea did it but they wonder if she may know who did and is hiding it. Roman says she would do that if her father or grandfather killed to protect her. Hope looks on worried.

    -Austin and Lucas are worried sick about Carrie and call to see if there is anything new on the search front. They learn Shane went in to the woods to join the search and they lost contact. Austin tells Lucas that since Chelsea is ok they should get out there and see if they can help. Sami says she wants to go to. Austin and Lucas say goodbye to Kate and she tells them to keep her posted. Billie says the same.

    -Shane can't beleive his eyes when he sees Carrie and Alan together. Carrie tells Shane about how Alan saved her on the island and brought her there for protection. He nursed her back to health and kept her there to protect her from those behind the island plot. She was worried they would come back to her and she heard no news so she was unsure about everything. She had a hard time trusting Alan so she escaped and called Sami. Alan caught her and Carrie says she thought he was going to attack her but he pushed her out of the way of falling debris and saved her. Shane remembers the blood and jacket and says it all makes sense now. He asks Carrie why she has not revealed herself. Carrie explains she owes Alan for his taking care of her and she knows her family and friends would put Alan though hell. He is not the same man and she knows that now and he served his punishment. Shane doesn't seem convinced and tells Carrie everyone is worried sick about her and she needs to reveal herself. Carrie says she isn't sure about doing that. Shane asks what else she isn't telling him. Carrie tries to ignore the issue but reluctantly agrees to tell him if he can promise to keep it a secret. Carrie tells Shane she doesn't know wh othe father of her baby is and it can be Lucas or Austin. She doesn't want to hurt either of them or destroy their family or Sami's life so she is afraid to go back and do that. Shane says she has to go back and it's wrong to keep secrets. Carrie remembers the plan Alan mentioned to her earlier and she tells Shane she has an idea but she needs his help. She tells Shane to give Alan a different identity so he will be in the clear and no one will bother him and to tell everyone she is ok and has left town to see her mother and travel the world. Shanw says that won't work because she has a baby. Carrie tells Shane to tell everyone she couldn't handle the pressure because the baby may have health problems and she doesn't want to burden anyone and so on. She just tells Shane to lie for her and let her leave Salem. She needs to do this for all those she cares about. She begs Shane. Shane thinks about it and Carrie again begs Shane to do this as it really is the best thing to do for everyone. Shane mulls over the idea while Carrie tends to Alan. Alan asks if she thinks he will help. Carrie says she hopes so or things may get messy. Meanwhile, Austin and Lucas decide to go out into the woods to join Shane and aid the search. Sami follows them.

    -Celeste tells Abe there is much more heartache ahead for many of them. Abe says he doesn't think they can all take much more. Celeste says she is going to see Alexandra. Abe tells her to give her his love and says he will be here helping with the murder case.

    -Nicole feels uncomfortable being around everyone as they have no reason to be there anymore. Eric agrees to take her home and Eric says goodbye to Roman and Caroline. Greta is wandering around too and agrees she has no reason to stay there so she heads for home. She sees Eric and Nicole kiss and Nicole asks Eric to promise that nothing will come between them. Eric vows that nothing will as he embraces her and looks at a staring Greta.

    -Cal tells Roman he is leaving as it isn't his place to be here. Roman says he can stay. Cal says he doesn't want to get in the way but tells Roman to call if he needs anything or just to update him.

    -Laura sees Jack comforting Billie. Frankie asks Laura if something is wrong. Laura said their may be but she will need to keep an eye on it. Frankie is confused.

    -Laura agrees to take Alice home. Julie wonders where Maggie is and sees her come in. Julie asks where she was. Maggie explains she went for a walk and reminds Julie of her promise to lay off. Doug walks over and says Laura took Alice home. He asks if everything is ok. Maggie says it is fine as long as Julie stops being so obsessive about her life. Doug says she merely cares about her. Alice walks over and gives Maggie a hug, along with Laura. They give their love to her and ask her to call if she needs anything. Maggie nods and thanks them as they leave. Julie seems pleased that Maggie had a pleasent reaction and asks if Maggie wants some coffee. Maggie says no and that she needs to find someone. Julie tells Doug she has a feeling Maggie is in alot of trouble.

    -Caroline is worried about Victor. She sees him walk in from the elevator and asks where he was. Victor says he went for a walk and ran into a friend. Caroline says he is a liar and she knows what he did as he hinted at his plans to her earlier before he left. Caroline asks him if he killed those boys. Roman says that is a good question as Victor felt responsible for Chelsea's first rape and is now justifying returning to the underworld with the premise that he is protecting his family and friends and not going to see them get hurt again. Victor explains that is right. Roman says that he will always think of Victor as a father because of Isabella but lately his actions have been radical and appalling. He had an affair with Caroline after staying out of her life for years, he is apparently behind the warehouse explosion and Lexie's attempted murder he just has no proof, and now he goes MIA when Chelsea's rapists are shot to death. Victor tells Roman to think what he wants but he is not going to let him smear his name through the mud without solid proof. Roman says who he is is enough proof. Victor laughs and tells Roman to back off and remember who he is dealing with. Victor explains he would never kill someone by merely shooting them. He would make it more elaborate or have it planned out. Roman explains normally he would but since those men came after Chelsea twice already he needed to act fast so he may have gone a different route this time. Maggie walks in and says Victor didn't kill anyone and she can prove it as she was with him. Doug and Julie hear this and are stunned. Maggie explains he ran into her outside and they were talking and that was it. Roman wonders if more is going on but says he will back off for now but he will be watching Victor. Caroline, Doug, and Julie are stunned that Maggie was with Victor after they pushed each other away. Maggie says they were only talking and that was it. Shawn comes in and says that Caroline, Doug, and Julie are needed as Bo is back. They race off. Julie and Caroline are reluctant to leave Victor with Maggie but race off anyway. Caroline whispers to Victor before she leaves that she knows something more is going on. Victor asks Maggie why she lied as she was never with him. Maggie says because he helped her again this morning she helped him again tonight. Maggie reminds them that when friends owe each other they pay up. Victor asks her how much she saw. Maggie asks him what makes him think she saw anything. Victor explains he can see it in her eyes that she saw something so he knows she followed him. He explains he needs to go see Bo but says they need to talk later.

    -Hope asks where Bo has been. Billie, Kate, Jack, Abby, Max, Doug, Julie, Maggie, Abe,Belle, Shawn, Roman, and Victor are all present. Belle asks Shawn if there is anything she can do for him with everything going on. He looks at Belle and says she needs to get used to him not being there and urges her to start doing that now. Belle looks on heartbroken. Bo explains he went out to cool off. Roman asks where he went. Bo says he went for a walk. Abe asks if he had an alibi. Bo says to stop with the questions-it's not like he is a murder suspect. Roman says he is as he was MIA during the murders of Jason and Barry. Roman explains that Chelsea and Victor are under suspicion as well as they were missing too. Bo says that this is ridiculous. Caroline asks Bo if anyone saw him. Bo is angry that his own mother seems to think he may be responsible. Shawn tells Bo to just answer the questions as he looks guilty as sin right now. Bo is in a rage and tells Shawn he is sick and tired of him acting like a little prick. Hope tells Bo to back off. Bo tells Hope that she is the reason why all this is happening as she let them two bastards get away and she never told him about the rape until it was too late. Everyone is stunned to learn Chelsea was raped. Abby looks at Max, who runs out of the room. Abby runs after him. Kate asks Billie if she knew. Billie says she just found out herself.

    -Victor reminds Bo he knew too but Bo says Hope is his wife and she has an obligation to tell him these things. He says he has never been so disgusted in his life with her and with everyone. Roman tells Bo to just calm down and explain where he was. Bo says he walked around the hospital and that was it. Roman orders a security camera check to see if they can substantiate everything. Bo is stunned by this and can't beleive people beleive he did this. Hope reminds him of his saying he was taking matters into his own hands and how he nearly killed the rapists before. Bo looks Hope in the eye and says he loses his cool but he would never just run off and kill two men. That would let them off too easy. He would beat the hell out of them until they confess but that is it. Bo says he has lost faith in a system that has failed him too many times and now it appears many of his loves ones have lost in faith in him, although some lost it before. He looks at Hope and Shawn. He left with the intention of doing something but he didn't. Roman says that it will have to be proven. Victor says he agrees with Bo that something needed to be done but it doesn't mean Bo or him killed the men. They may have had many enemies. Roman and Caroline both warn Victor to stay out of it but Victor says he won't stand by and watch Bo get blasted by his own family. Roman says no one believes he did it but they need to do this by the book. Bo says by the book is how his daughter ended up where she is and he is not going to stand by and watch her or someone else get hurt because the system and doing things by the book is going to let punks out of jail to hurt again. Victor agrees. Roman loses patience and says it must be like father like son as Bo is showing his true colors. Bo and the rest of the room is stunned. Bo says that now the truth is really out and he knows how Roman feels. Bo tells Roman he has no right to say that to him as he has only been Roman again for a few days. He doesn't even feel like his brother. Bo says that Cal feels more like his brother. Roman reminds Bo that there was a long time when he beleived he was his brother. Bo says that was years ago and alot has happened. Caroline begs him to stop it but Bo says he won't. No one believes him and in his character so he is through with Roman..with all of them. He says they all have no right to act as if they are putting him and Victor on trial in the here and now without proof. Bo says if they are all turning their backs on him and not beleiving in him all at once like this then he is going to do the same. They all want to do things by the rules and see people they love get hurt that is fine. He is not going to do that no longer. Victor says Bo is right. Caroline begs Victor to stop jumping in. Roman asks Bo if what he just said is a confession as he mentioned not standing by and watching others getting hurt by doing things according to the system. Roman says he knows Bo and asks how far Bo went this time to protect his family. Bo tells him he can go to hell and punches him, sending him to the floor. Roman gets up and is held back by Abe as both Bo and Roman coldly stare at each other as the rest of the room watches the Brady family fall apart. The screen then fades to black and the credits roll.

    Bo to Frankie: I don't want your help...or anyone's help.

    Hope to Bo: This is it, isn't it?
    Bo to Hope: Yeah...it's over.

    -Victor checks for Chelsea's pulse and can't find one. He begs her to hold on. Nico arrives and Victor tells him to take Maggie away. Nico asks what happened to her. Victor thinks she got drunk and passed out but she seems fine. He tells her to take her back to his mansion and keep her there so no one sees her. It is probably what she would want. Nico leaves carrying Maggie. Victor calls 911 and then calls Bo to let him know he found her and it isn't good. Victor tells him to meet them at the hospital and to let the others know. Bo calls Hope, who is with Billie. Hope hangs up and tells Billie that Chelsea is on her way to the hospital. Victor found her and she is hurt. Billie and her race off.

    -Nico is carrying Maggie when she comes to. Maggie hits Nico until he puts her down. Nico explains to her that Mr Kiriakis found her and told him to take her to his house so no one would see her. Maggie says she is fine and doesn't need any help. She tells Nico to leave. Nico says he has orders. Maggie tells him to leave or she will scream and say he kidnapped her. Nico reluctantly leaves. Julie and Laura are nearby as they left the courthouse to get some fresh air while they wait to hear about Chelsea. They see Maggie in the park and walk up to her. They are both glad to see her and ask where she has been and why she has not answered their messages. It didn't even seem like she was home this morning when they stopped by to see if she wanted to join them for Chelsea's hearing. Maggie says she was out walking all night. She needed to get out to think and she was just overcome with memories. She tells them it is none of their business anyway. Julie looks at her and says she looks like hell. Julie thinks she has fallen off the wagon. Maggie denies it and says she hasn't even thought about it. The last thing she wants to do is disappoint Mickey and her family even though they are already as she is the reason Mickey is dead. Laura tells Maggie that is not true. Maggie insists it is. Julie gets the phone call about Chelsea. Julie tells Maggie to come with them. Maggie, thinking it will be a good way to get them all off her back for awhile, agrees to go if they lay off her. Julie and Laura agree and they race to the hospital.

    -At the hospital, Abe tells Celeste that Lexie is doing well. Celeste says she has a bad feeling about Chelsea and what is to come. She tells Abe she sees death casting a pall around Salem as they speak. Jack, Abby, Max, Shawn, Belle, Sami, Austin, Lucas, Kate, Roman, Cal, Alice, Caroline, Julie, Doug, Greta, Eric, Nicole, Laura, and Maggie have all gathered. Everyone is glad to see Maggie out and about. Maggie remains silent and just nods. Shawn mentions that he shouldn't even be there as he doesn't give a damn if Chelsea lives or dies. Belle tells him not to say that. Shawn says it's the truth but he won't have to deal with her much longer regardless as he is leaving. Belle tells him she is not letting him go. Shawn says he is not giving her a choice. Kate is worried sick about Chelsea. Lucas and Austin tell her it will be ok. Kate says she already has one future grandchild missing with Carrie being MIA but losing Chelsea would be too much. Bo, Hope, and Billie arrive. Bo tells Billie to have faith that it isn't as bad as Victor said. Kate and Billie comfort each other.

    -The ambulance arrives and Victor races in with Chelsea. Billie, Bo, Hope, and Kate see Chelsea bleeding, bruised, and battered and ask what happened. Victor says she mentioned the names Jason and Barry. Bo says those are the two guys that...and then stops seeing everyone around. Billie takes notice and follows Bo and Hope into the ER. Billie asks Bo what he was going to say. Bo says it's not the time and place. Billie demands the truth right now. Bo says it has to be kept quiet and that is why he kept it quiet for the last few days. Bo tells Billie Jason and Barry raped Chelsea during the organized drug operation that Victor set up back in May in a effort to help find Philip. It was the night Josh died and they both raped her and now it seems they hurt her again. Hope goes to wait outside. Chelsea begins to wake up. Bo asks her what happened and to her dad. Chelsea says they wanted to hurt her because she told on them and because he came after them. They wanted to pay her back and they called her dirty and a slut. Bo asks her what they did. Chelsea says they beat her and they forced her and then she passes out. Bo walks off in a rage as Billie says how could this happen twice and this time she even got beat up. Bo says maybe he should not have gone after them but the DA let them slide after they retracted and Chelsea was refusing putting them in jail out of fear of them and of the public. Billie says he was wrong to take matters into his own hands but understands it. She is furious she didn't know. Hope comes in and asks what Chelsea told them. Bo informs her and says this is all her fault. If she had told him sooner and had not stopped him when he had the rapists, none of this happens. Hope says she feels bad for not telling him but not for stopping him from killing the men. Bo says they deserve to die for this. Victor comes in and says he is partly to blame too as the operation he organized got her into this and he knew of the rape and kept it a secret. Billie asks how many others know. Bo says that's it. Bo and Billie agree the drug operation was not Victor's fault as he did it for Philip but they should have been told sooner about the rape. Victor apologizes. Bo looks at Hope and says especially since she is his wife and she lectured him about trust. Hope says Chelsea wanted it that way. Billie says that Hope should've known better and now look what happened. The doctor comes out and backs up Chelsea's claims that she was most likely raped again. He says Chelsea will be fine but emotionally there is no telling. Bo is furious and asks Hope if she is happy. She let Chelsea off with a break for killing Zack but Chelsea got a much worse punishment now. He asks Hope if she is pleased now as she comes off looking good and still gets to see his daughter punished. Hope says it was never like that. Chelsea was changing so Hope gave her another chance and she never wanted this to happen. Billie says she can't beleive that and either can Bo, who tells Hope he can't deal with her right now. Shawn comes in after hearing everything and tells Hope not to worry about dad. Hope says that Bo is right-it does make her feel good deep down for what Chelsea did and she hates that. She asks Shawn what is wrong with her. Shawn says nothing is and embraces her.

    -Abby can see Max is worried about Chelsea. Abby says she is worried too and even after everything she can see he still cares. Max says he hopes she is ok.

    -Bo and Billie announce that Chelsea will be fine but she is shook up and hurt pretty bad. Bo fills Roman in and says they need to find Jason and Barry. Roman says they need Chelsea a statement because otherwise they can't do anything. Bo says that those guys need to be off the street. They already were let go once and he let them go because of Hope. They can't get off again. Roman says their hands are tied without a statement from Chelsea. Bo throws the coffee pot across the room getting everyone's attention. Bo says he will not let his daughter or anyone else get hurt again and says he is sick of these rules. Roman urges Bo to calm down, as does Caroline. Victor says that Bo is right. The rules only let loved ones get hurt and he learned that. Caroline warns Victor to stay out of it. Victor says the system is easily manipulated and can't be trusted. Roman tells Victor he will always respect him because of Isabella but after his affair with Caroline recently and with him seemingly getting back to his crime roots with his alleged involvement in the warehouse explosion, he can't listen to his words of wisdom right now. Hope tells Bo to listen to his family and let everything just play out. Bo looks at Billie and asks her if she has faith the system will punish who hurt their daughter. Billie says she is only concerned with Chelsea and that it is best to let the chips fall as they may right now. Bo is disgusted that they can all beleive in something that let two punks get away with rape the first time so they could just do it again. Bo says he lost faith in the system before and went back to give it another chance but not anymore. He is taking matters into his own hands. Roman warns Bo not to do anything rash. Bo walks out. Hope follows and begs Bo not to do anything stupid. Bo looks at her and warns her not to get in his way this time and walks off. Roman asks Hope where Bo went. Hope says she doesn't know and that is what scares her.

    -Caroline lashes out at Victor for supporting Bo turning his back on the system. Victor says it's true and that too many have been burned by it for it to not be true. Caroline says it makes her sick seeing him becoming what he said he would never be again. Victor walks off and says to Caroline it makes him sick seeing what is happening to his loved ones and he needs to do something about it. Caroline looks at Victor and asks him what he is going to do. Victor walks off as Caroline worries what he may do. Maggie is nearby and hears the whole exchange. She hears Victor call Nico, who explains what happened with Maggie. Victor says it's fine but he needs his help on making sure the men thay hurt Chelsea pay for their actions. Victor leaves the hospital, with a curious Maggie on his tail.

    -Chelsea is moved to a private room. Kate thanks the doctor, who tells Billie and her not to bother Chelsea as she is sedated. Meanwhile, a groggy Chelsea is having a dream about Jason and Barry hitting her and calling her slut. They are all over her and then she wakes up. She gets out of bed and says if being good didn't work maybe being bad will. She limps to the door and sneaks past the nurses desk and into the stairwell.

    -Shawn asks Hope if she is ok. She says she is worried about Bo. Doug and Julie tell her that everything will be fine. Julie notices Maggie is missing. Caroline joins them and Hope asks her if she is ok as she looks upset. Caroline says she is fine. Roman comes over and says he can't find Bo anywhere. Caroline asks about Victor. Roman asks why she would ask that and asks if Victor is missing. He sees the look on Caroline's face and remembers Victor supporting Bo earlier. He calls the station and tells them to keep a lookout for Detective Bo Brady and Victor Kiriakis. Meanwhile, Billie goes in to check on Chelsea and finds her missing. She races in to the waiting area and announces Chelsea's gone right as Roman gets a phone call...telling him Jason and Barry were just found dead in the river. Roman announces the news to everyone. Caroline, Hope, and Billie look on worried as the screen fades to black and the credits roll.

    On the next "Salem Lives:"

    Carrie to Shane: I am begging you...please don't tell anyone I am here.
    Abby to Max: Are you sure you are really over her?
    Caroline to Victor: Did you do it? Did you kill those boys?
    Maggie: No, he didn't.
    Julie to Maggie: Where did you go?
    Hope to Bo: Brady...you didn't do what I think you did...please say you didn't.
    Billie to Chelsea: Chelsea, I need to know where you were.
    Bo to Roman: I am done with you...with all of you!!!!

    -Kayla is on board a flight to Austrailia. She tells Steve she is on her way and that she will find him. She remembers their life together and says there is so much more for them to come as they will finally be a family with Stephanie.

    -Abe and Celeste await word from the doctor, who is examining Lexie after her surgery the previous night. Stefano joins them. Abe tells him to get out but Celeste urges him not to start trouble. Stefano does have a right to be there and Alexandra is more important then attacking Stefano. The doctor comes out to tell them he has bad news. Abe asks if his wife is going to live. Stefano notes that Abe left his daughter and should not pretend to be concerned. Celeste tells Stefano that Abe does care and loves Alexandra. The doctor informs them that Lexie slipped into a coma. Her body sustained major trauma and it will take days before her internal injuries heal. Stefano asks what her chances are for survival. The doctor says about 50/50. They just need to hope and pray. The doctor tells them that Lexie is going to go for many more tests so no visitors until at least the evening hours as they plan to move her into a more private room her father arranged for. Abe stares coldly at Stefano. Lexie is wheeled out. Abe and Celeste give their love and urge her to keep fighting for Theo. Stefano urges the same and whispers to her a assurance that Victor will pay for what he did. She is wheeled away. Abe and Celeste decide to go to Chelsea's hearing while Stefano bides his time in the hospital. He goes on the roof and calls his associate to tell him they will plot their response to Victor slowly and calculately so it will be effective. He will pay for what he did to his daughter and so will his loved ones.

    -Cassie runs into Caroline, who is on her way to the courthouse for the hearing. Caroline asks her how life in the Dimera house is. Cassie says she loves it. Caroline reminds her she will always be a part of her family. Cassie thanks her and asks where Kayla is since she was living with Caroline above the Pub. Caroline says she is out of town at a medical conference in Chicago. She tells Cassie she needs to go and asks if she is coming. Cassie says she will see. Cassie returns to the Dimera mansion where a Dimera henchman bursts in looking for Stefano. Cassie asks what the problem is. The henchman says he should really tell Stefano. Cassie orders him to tell her. The henchman says that Patrick Lockhart spilled everything to Kayla Brady and now she is off to find her husband Steve. Cassie asks if Stefano would be unhappy with this and the henchman says he would be. Cassie says she will tell him and calls him. She asks to meet him so she meets him on the hospital roof and informs him of the news regarding Kayla. Cassie tells Stefano that Kayla learning the truth is a lucky break for them as she has an idea. They can trap Kayla and use her to lure other Brady's into the trap and draw Victor in too. This could be their revenge against Victor and those he loves. Stefano thinks that is brilliant and says they were lucky. He thanks Cassie and says she is proving to be a force in the Dimera family. Hr urges her to keep up her good status with the Brady's as that may come in handy. He asks if betraying the Brady's is a problem for her. Cassie says it isn't-whatever it takes to protect the Dimera family.

    -Roman, Kate, Cal, Shane, Austin, and Lucas continue to react to the blood being Alan's. He reminds them all to keep this quiet, especially to Sami. Sami arrives and asks if something is wrong. Roman says nothing and tells them all they should all get going for Chelsea's hearing. There is nothing they can do to find Carrie. Shane says he will stay behind and monitor everything and let them know. Lucas says they should go as Carrie would want them to support their family. Roman, Kate, Cal, Austin, Sami, and Lucas leave. Shane decides to aid the search and to check out the woods.

    -Carrie continues to care for Alan. Alan thanks her for staying. Carrie says it is the least she can do after everything he did for her. She says she knows he has changed now. Alan says he is grateful she trusts him now. Carrie says she was shocked when he didn't get angry about her calling home. Alan says he understands and was never holding her against her will. He was only trying to protect her and the baby from danger. Carrie understands. Alan asks how Sami was when she talked to her. Carrie says she was Sami. Alan asks if she is going to return to her family now. Carrie explains to him what happened last night with them finding the blood and the jacket. She explains her family and loved ones would never understand and would make Alan's life hell, especially Sami, Plus, she needs to be there for him after everything he did for her and she has the baby to think about. She doesn't know what she is going to do. Alan asks what she means. Carrie says she needs to talk to someone about this and begs him to stay silent. He agrees and says she knows she can trust him. Carrie tells him that she slept with both Lucas and Austin and has no idea who the father of the baby is. She doesn't want to hurt either guy or break Sami's heart as she knows Sami finally has Austin and has finally changed. Her sister is happy finally and, if the baby is Austin's, she is back to square one. Carrie says she just can't put everyone through that. Alan says he has an idea but it's extreme and she probably will hate it. He tells her to just leave Salem for good and stay away to raise the baby. Carrie is intrigued by the idea but says she can't take a baby away from it's father. They then hear a noise. Carrie is scared and wonders who it is. Realizing she never locked the door, she runs over but the door slowly opens. Carrie is stunned to see Shane on the other side of it just as he is shocked to find her...with Alan.

    -Victor is getting ready for the trial. Nico tells Victor that Stefano appears to know what they did and will be looking for revenge. Victor says let him bring it on as this is war. He only needs to make sure his loved ones don't get hurt so he tells Nico to send some men out to watch some of his loved ones from a distance. Nico says he already sent someone out to protect Philip in San Francisco. Victor says they will make another attempt to get revenge on Stefano and all his enemies but they need to take it slow and plot their next move slowly. They can't fail again.

    -Billie arrives at the courthouse with Jack. She thanks Jack for joining her. He says he needs to be there for her as she has for him through everything. They embrace as Laura arrives, clearly bothered by seeing them together. Frankie arrives and promises Billie that everything with Chelsea will be fine now with Hope being lenient. Alice, Doug, and Julie arrive along with Abby and Max. Julie tells Laura they called Maggie and even stopped by and no answer. Doug thinks Maggie wasn't even home. They are very worried. Laura reminds them to just give her some more time and maybe once they put their little plan into action things will get better. Alice is sure it will.

    -Eric and Nicole arrive and are shocked to see Greta there. Greta says she came to support the Brady's and Horton's. Greta asks how everything is. Nicole says it is great now that Eric is actually with her. She was worried sick the night before but says he more then made up for it when he came back to the suite. Greta gives Eric a look of disgust and says she is glad things are well. She goes to speak with Jack as Nicole tells Eric never to leave her that long without talking to her again.

    -Hope arrives with Shawn. Belle follows them in. She asks Shawn if they can talk before the hearing but Shawn says he has nothing to talk to her about. Belle says they do need to talk...about their future now that he is leaving. Hope overhears and asks what he means. Roman, Sami, Austin, Lucas, Cal, and Kate arrive along with Caroline, Abe, and Celeste. Shawn then says he may as well tell everyone now that he is leaving Salem and joining the Marines. Everyone is stunned. Hope is livid. Bo walks in at this moment with Victor behind him. Hope looks at Bo and says it is all his fault. Bo is stunned and asks Shawn if he is leaving because of him and all the family problems. Shawn admits that is partly it but he is also doing this for himself. He needs this and needs to finally grow up and to give purpose to his life. He has been through so much and he just feels it's right. Doug, Julie, and Alice say they are proud of him and that it is very admirable. Caroline thinks the same and Victor says it is a nice gesture to honor Philip. Shawn says that is partly why he is doing it. He looks at Belle and then says among other reasons. Hope and Bo say they are both proud but can't stand the thought of losing another child. Shawn says if it is meant to be it will happen and says they can't change his mind. Hope looks at Bo and then asks Shawn if things were different would he still leave. He says probably not but you can never be sure. Belle touches Shawn's shoulder, which bothers Kate, and asks to talk to him. Shawn says to just stay away from him and walks away. Kate walks up to Belle and tells her karma is a bitch. Hope tells Bo that it is all their fault. Their family is on shambles. Bo says most of the blame is on himself. Hope says they have so much to work through and that Shawn going away will make it tougher. They all walk into the courtroom and wonder where Chelsea is. Billie calls her cell and home and can't find her. Billie says to Bo that she must be missing. Bo says not to panic and that maybe she is afraid to come. Billie says that she was fine with it when they talked because of Hope's change of heart. Billie says something is wrong and that she can feel it. A baliff tells Bo that the judge is ready as Bo says they need to find Chelsea. Roman tells the judge there is a situation and he, Bo, Victor, Hope, Abe, Celeste, Austin, Lucas, Jack, Max, and Abby all go to look for her. Celeste tells Abe she has an awful feeling about this. They all split up to find her.

    -Max wonders what trouble Chelsea may have gotten into this time. Abby says she is probably just scared but Max says it is probably something worse...it always is.

    -Hope and Billie search Salem Place. Billie tells Hope she has a bad feeling-just like the night that Chelsea fell in the sewer. Hope says she is sure that Chelsea is fine.

    -Victor is searching the pier and he hopes something bad hasn't happened to his family again. He wonders if this is Stefano's revenge somehow and that maybe he has Chelsea. He looks around and sees a woman on the ground near some crates. He runs over and sees that it's a passed out Maggie. Victor notices the blood on her hands and sees that Maggie doesn't appear hurt. He turns around and is appalled by what he sees a few short feet from where he found Maggie. He races over and picks up the unconscious body of a bruised and battered Chelsea as the screen fades to black and the credits roll.

    On the next "Salem Lives:"

    Victor: Those bastards will pay for this.
    Bo to Hope: This is all your fault!!!
    Billie: What the hell is going on here? I demand the truth right now!!!
    Julie to Maggie: You look like hell. My God, you have fallen off the wagon.
    Roman to Hope: Where's Bo?
    Hope to Roman: I don't know...and that is why I am afraid
    Bo: I am going to put an end to this right now.

    -Max and Abby arrive at the park as they are attending a special ceremony to remember 9/11. Alice, Doug, Julie, and Laura are there as well. Abby and Max greet them. Julie mentions they asked Maggie to come but she still is not answering their calls and stopping by may only make things worse. Laura reminds Julie to just give Maggie some more time while they out their plan in motion. Abby asks what their plan is. Doug tells her she will just have to see for herself when it happens.

    -Billie and Jack are just sitting back eating the food she brought for him. They see all the 9/11 coverage and Billie mentions all the ceremonies going on. Jack mentions that Abby is at the one in the park. billie mentions how it reminds you how short life is. Jack insists that is why he has to move on. Jennifer would want that for his sake and their family's. Frankie comes down with Jack Jr. Jack asks where they are going as it seems they are leaving. Frankie says that Abby called and asked if they wanted to join Max and her. He didn't think Jack wanted to go and he asked Billie but she insisted on staying with him. Jack wonders if he should go too. Jennifer would like that if she were with him and he was married to a Horton so it keeps the family's good name. Billie tells Jack it would be good for him to get out and it helps with the moving on process. Jack agrees and says he will go. Billie and him get their coats and follow Frankie and JJ out.

    -Caroline sees Kayla packing and asks where she is going. Kayla, realizing telling anyone would just hinder her in her search and may complicate things, says she is going to a medical conference in Chicago. Caroline asks for how long. Kayla says maybe a week but she may stay longer to visit a friend. Kayla reminds her mother that her intention was to not stay in Salem for good. Caroline understands but she got so used to having her around. Kayla insists she will be back soon. Caroline asks if Kayla heard the good news about the man she thought was her brother (Faux Roman). Kayla says she hasn't and Caroline tells her that he hit his head and had a memory that he is Cal Winters. Kayla is shocked and asks Caroline if he is the same Cal Winters that nearly killed her and Kim, as well as Shane and Roman. Caroline says she doesn't know and never thought of that as it has been years. Kayla says she remembers and hopes it isn't true and is merely a coincidence or something. Caroline says that Cal has no memory of anything so he is harmless at the moment. They both agree to just hope for the best. Kayla hugs her mother and tells her to tell everyone else goodbye for her and that she will be back. Caroline wishes her well. As she leaves, Kayla tells herself she hates to do this alone but anyone else getting involved may hold her back or scare off whoever is holding Steve once she arrives. It will be easier for her to sneak in and out and do this on her own. She has enough experience having two cops as brothers and being involved in everything she has been. She vows to bring Steve home with her and tells him she is on her way to find him.

    -Shane arrives on the scene right after Roman broke the news about the forensics results. Roman fills him in. Austin and Lucas still have hope but both Sami and Kate begin to beleive the worst. Roman and Shane catch up. Roman asks Shane how the ISA conference was. Shane says it was fine and very influential but he feels it is inappropriate to discuss that with his daughter being missing. Shane then hears Roman call Faux Roman "Cal" and asks why he called him that. Roman tells him about the fall and Faux Roman remembering he was Cal. Shane asks for a last name. Cal tells him "Winters" Shane brings up the Cal Winters that was a army lieutenant and kidnapped Kayla and Kim while also trying to kill Roman and him. Roman tells Shane he already thought about that and that has to be merely a coincidence. There is no way he could be Cal. He also notes that he has no memory anyway so there are no problems. Roman then gets a call that interupts them. Shane seems very bothered by Cal. Cal asks if there is a problem. Shane says not yet. Roman announces to everyone he has more bad news-the hairs on the torn jacket are Carrie's so it is likely it belongs to her. Lucas runs off, saying that Carrie is not gone and is still out there. Sami, on instinct, runs after him while Kate tells Austin it is nothing but denial. Something bad had to happen to Carrie. Austin says he knows and he just hopes the baby and her are fine. Nearby, Carrie has left the cabin to get some supplies to help her and Alan. She sees her father, Cal, Shane, Austin, and Kate and decides to reveal herself to them. Sami catches up to Lucas and tells him there is nothing he can do. They just need to hope it isn't as bad as it seems. Lucas breaks down saying he can't lose his child and another chance at happiness with a woman he loves. Sami embraces him and comforts him, saying it will be all be ok.

    -Nicole is near the Brady Pub looking for Eric. She is really worried that he hasn't called and wonders what is going on. Meanwhile, at the hospital, Eric reacts to Greta now knowing he has a brain tumor. Greta asks how he found out. Eric says he was in Paris doing some shots of a French village when he just got this massive headache and collapsed. He was rushed to the hospital and they examined and ran tests and found the tumor. He doesn't know how long it was there and so on. He had been getting headaches for weeks prior to collasping but he thought nothing of them and beleived they were caused by the aftereffects of a concussion he sustained in Africa. Greta remembers Eric using the head injury as a cover for his dizzy spells on the island. Eric says he has been to so many doctors in the last year, including specialists, and his chances are less then 20% survival, that is why he returned to Salem to be with his loved ones. He needed Nicole as she was the woman he always thought about and he never could get her out of his heart, despite everything. Greta says she knows and Eric apologizes saying he loved her too and still does. Greta asks if he even tried any treatment but Eric says it would be futile-there is nothing that can be done other then go for treatments that will make him even sicker. He has been taking meds to make him comfortable so that is why he has been MIA alot so he can meet and get the meds and also why he has had many secret phone calls. He just wants to be happy in his final days as he can go at any time and he begs Greta to keep his secret. No one can know or they will pity him and push him to go through treatment that won't do anything but make things worse. Greta reminds Eric that Nicole is worried and already has Sami and her trying to help her find out his secret. He needs to tell Nicole. Eric begs Greta that if she ever loved him she will do as he asks-almost like granting his dying wish. Greta hates him using that to make her stay quiet. Greta tells him to at least call Nicole now to tell her he is ok. She is probably worried. He calls and Nicole lashes out at him for keeping her worried. She asks where he is calling from as it says on her cell the hospital. Eric says he just went out for a walk and lost track of time. Nicole hears whispering in the background and asks who is there with him. He gives Greta the phone and asks her to help him out as he is still a little out of it. Greta answers and tells Nicole that Eric got stuck at the hospital because his family was here. She tells Nicole about Lexie Carver and that Bo came in with a injury so things just got hectic. Nicole says she was there when they found Lexie but didn't know about Bo. She asks if there is anymore to say. Greta looks at Eric and says no. Eric takes the phone back and apologizes to Nicole again. Nicole says she will forgive him later in bed. He says he can't wait and says he loves her. After he hangs up, Greta is furious but Eric thanks her for doing a good thing. Greta knows she will regret this and says she will get his release papers.

    -Hope chases Bo down as Bo asks her when she will give up. Hope reminds him that he did the same thing to her when he wanted to talk things out. Bo says that's right and that Hope treated him like crap. He is just returning the favor. Hope says that he is being immature. Bo fires back saying then she was being immature for weeks when he wanted to speak with her about their relationship. Hope says that they are doing nothing but going in circles and blaming each other left and right for one thing after another. Bo agrees and says they have alot between them right now and he doesn't know if they can overcome the conflict they have to. Bo admits he used to have faith they could but everything with Chelsea and Hope not telling him about the rape and all-he doesn't know if there is anything left to save. Hope says there might be if they talk. Bo asks her where she was when he wanted the same thing-to talk. Hope admits it may have taken her a while to want to talk but she wants to now. Bo looks at her and says that he isn't sure if he wants to right now or if he even could. He needs to get back on Chelsea's rape case. Hope tells him to stay out of the case as it's too personal. Bo tells Hope not to tell him what to do and that she should stay out of it. She is only making things worse. He tells her he will see her at Chelsea's sentencing hearing tomarrow. Hope wonders if there is any hope left for Bo and her, as does Bo.

    -Sami and Lucas return to the group. Sami gets a call from Will, who needs help with something, so she goes off to get a better connection. Lucas joins Kate, Austin, Cal, and Shane. Shane tells Lucas that Roman is being given more news right now. Lucas says that things couldn't get any worse. Carrie hears all this and is sure she needs to reveal herself. Roman tells everyone he just learned something very disturbing. Austin tells Roman to just hit them with it. Roman says he must make sure no one tells Sami anything about this until they get all the facts. They all stare at Kate, who reluctantly agrees, as everyone else does. Roman tells them the blood on the pavement under the debris matched up with Alan Harris. They are all confused and stunned. Roman insists that none of this gets out to anyone, especially Sami. He says that Alan should be out of prison now that he thinks of it and, if he is involved somehow with Carrie being missing or does anything to his daughters, he will see him dead first. Carrie overhears Roman say this and says that she can't reveal herself. It would cause too many problems with Sami, Austin, Lucas and her family and after everything Alan did for her she needs to be there for him now. She can't if she reveals herself. She has no idea what she is going to do but she can't reveal herself. She heads back to the cabin to tend to Alan.

    -The attendants at the 9/11 ceremony are given candles. Frankie, JJ, Billie, and Jack arrive and so does Caroline. Caroline greets Alice, Julie, Doug, and Laura and then stands near Frankie, Max, and Abby. Laura is bothered by seeing Jack and Billie together but keeps mum. Fr. Jansen then leads the group in prayer and then later in singing "Amazing Grace." Alice then says that she is sure all their loved ones are watching over them, including Tom. Doug, Julie and Laura embrace her as Max puts his arms around Abby and the crowd then goes into a moment of silence as "God Bless America" plays.

    -Maggie is still drunk and looks outside the windown. She does see Chelsea being held next to the window. Maggie turns away to pack up the liquor she wishes to take. Jason and Barry then drag Chelsea off just as Maggie walks outside and just misses seeing them. They take Chelsea to a old supply room near the pier. They tell her she is going to pay for her daddy coming after them and for her telling others what they did to her. They tell she asked for it. Chelsea says she never asked for anything. She just was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Barry tells her the way she dresses and acts is almost like an open invitation for guys to have their way with her. Jason asks her how he knows how she acts. Barry tells him he knows that the guy that nearly killed them was Bo Brady, Victor Kiriakis's son. Jason asks if they should be messing with Victor's granddaughter. Barry says he will never know and that nothing can be done if no one knows. He looks at Chelsea and tells her to keep her mouth shut this time. Chelsea begs them not to hurt her again. Barry tells her no one will ever want her. She is a dirty slut that half the town hates for killing her kid brother. She should be lucky Jason and him are willing to enjoy her company. Chelsea begs them to stop but they refuse and both ment begin to kiss her. Chelsea throws them off her and makes a run for it. Jason grabs her and throws her the ground, saying she isn't going anywhere. Barry agrees and says she owes them for what she did to them. They nearly died at her father's hands and almost went to jail. She needs to accept her punishment and understand that she can't ever do that to them again so mum's the word. If she says anything this time, she won't say another thing at all. Chelsea spits in Jason's face and then Barry slaps her, saying she will pay for that and everything else. Chelsea gets up but is thrown against the wall. She falls to the floor and begs them once more. Jason and Barry look at each other and laugh as they move in on Chelsea as the screen fades to black and the credits roll.

    On the Next "Salem Lives:"

    Kayla: I'm on my way Steve.
    Cassie to Stefano: I have news you may be interested in.
    Stefano to Cassie: Go on...
    Cassie to Stefano: Kayla Brady is on her way to find Steve Johnson.
    Abe: What are you saying...is Lexie going to make it?
    Victor to Nico: We will take it slow this time and make sure next time is the charm for ending Stefano's reign.
    Alan to Carrie: I have an idea Carrie...but the question is will you go for it?
    Billie to Bo: Chelsea isn't here...
    Bo to Billie: Well, where is she?
    Billie to Bo: I don't know!!!
