    Missy Reeves Checks Out of Salem!!!


    Days' Jennifer meets her maker.

    Salem has lost one of it's most bevloved characters. As previously reported, Melissa Reeves has chosen to leave her role as Jennifer Horton Deveraux. She last aired on July 28 when her character died tragically after saving the lives of her husband Jack (Matthew Ashford) and her first love Frankie (Billy Warlock). The actress announced her intention to leave this past spring and fans knew it was only a matter of time before they saw her for the last time. "Alot of the fans thought she was done when the car with Julie and Jen drove off the cliff in June during our death ruse," says executive producer Ned Yadroc. "She wasn't, though. I was so happy we knew that she was leaving ahead because if it was a hasty exit we may have left it at that but we were able to make her a pivotal player in the huge event this month on the island. That allowed us to give her the dramatic sendoff we wanted since we wanted to be able to spin the characters of Jack, Abby (Ashley Benson), Frankie (Billy Warlock), and several others in different directions."

    Weeks before Missy announced her departure, there were rumors she was unhappy with her story and the writing. "I am well aware Missy was not happy with what the previous HW did to her," notes Yadroc. "However, she has been very pleased under the new regime we have here and loved her exit." Is this exit final? "Well, we will have to see," says Yadroc. "I will certainly entertain the idea should she approach me but it will have to come from her since she has no desire to return right now anytime soon. If we ever decide to bring the character back and she is not available or has no desire to return, we will just have to recast but no use in dealing with that now."

    The other question is what does this mean for her loved ones left behind in Salem? Could a Jack/Billie or Jack/Greta pairing be on the way? "Sure, those are both options," says Yadroc. "We could also do Jack/Sami or Jack/Hope-Matt has chemistry with many people. The same goes from Frankie. Jennifer's exit will also influence the Abby/Max pairing too as it will draw them closer and that will really add spark to the triangle with Chelsea. We will see Jack sort of lose his identity a bit and his past demons will return as he struggles to move on and be a single dad. Abby will be a bit rebellious and will try to help her dad and live up to her promise to her mother. Billie will play a part-it's huge stuff. The fans will be happy as we have so many avenues to explore," enthuses Yadroc.

    There are rumors that Frankie is the character being moved to recurring status but Yadroc insists there has been no change in status in anyone except for one actor or actress. "One of our characters is leaving and that will be made known to the fans very soon-as in this week," admits Yadroc. "The fans know about Shawn and Mimi leaving and all the other exits we have had so there is nothing to tell. No one has been downgraded or upgraded as of yet. Frankie is just as important today as he has been since returning last year," insists Yadroc.

    -Bo comforts Hope over the loss of her uncle Mickey. Hope wants to comfort Bo too after losing Shawn Sr. Bo thinks they are getting closer but Hope tells him not to read too much into it-they have alot to work through. Bo tells Hope he is worried about how his Victor's affair with his mother and what happened to his father will affect his family. He fears it may tear them apart.
    -Kayla talks to Roman about keeping Victor away from their mother. Roman says he plans too but he says that he may not even be a Brady. Kayla reminds him to wait until they get more confirmation.
    -Caroline sees how Victor is comforting Maggie and seems bothered but tries not to let it show. Victor tells Maggie he will be there for her. They were there for each other when they thought Mickey and Caroline died back in Salem and they have saved each other's life. They have bonded a great deal and he feels indebted to her. She tells Victor she just wants to stay on the island and die. Victor says he won't allow that and knows Mickey wouldn't either. She has family to live for. Maggie tells Victor to just leave her alone but Victor says Caroline is already pushing him away and he won't have her do the same. Hope and Jennifer remind Maggie that she has plenty of friends and family. Alice, Melissa, Sarah, and the whole family needs her. Maggie agrees after hesitation but wonders how she will tell them all that Mickey is dead.
    -Shane tells them all they need to get a move on to the boats. Sami and Belle want to find John, who is after their mother. They sneak off together. Lucas, Shawn and Austin wonder where they went to and go off to look for them. Shane wonders where they all went and is dismayed by the fact that so many are missing.
    -Kayla tells Jennifer that she may want to tell Jack and Frankie of her decision now just in case something should happen. Jennifer says they are closing in on the boats and that they have had enough bad luck in their lives with Jack dying and leaving so many times and all of them being brought to the island. It would be too cruel for something else to happen at this point. Jack and Frankie both privately wonder who Jennifer chose and each have fantasies about Jennifer choosing them. They are having a hard time waiting out what Jennifer decided, as is Abby. Abby tries to convince her mother to tell everyone now. Max reminds her that it is her mother's life but Jennifer agrees and changes her mind. She will tell them now what her choice is.
    -Billie asks Chelsea if something is going on with her. Chelsea says no. Billie knows that Hope saved Chelsea's life and that Chelsea saved hers but thinks there is something else going on as she has been acting weird and was so concerned with leaving Hope. Chelsea says it is like she said, she feels she owes Hope and just wants to help. She has been through alot lately with all the crazy stuff going on and it has made her want to turn over a new leaf. Billie remembers Chelsea being missing before all the island business started and asks where she was after the night Josh died. Chelsea says she went to stay with some friends because she was scared and does not tell her mother about the rape (REMINDER: When Victor told everyone about the pier drug operation he never mentioned the rape since he promised Chelsea he wouldn't so he merely said that Chelsea ran off and went into hiding) . Hope overhears and thinks Chelsea should say something to her mother about the rape. Chelsea says she can't and won't. Besides, it is really none of her business. Hope says that Billie is her mother. Chelsea, remembering what she learned from Stefano, keeps mum and says she will tell who she wants when she is ready but begs Hope to remain silent. Hope agrees.
    -Eric gets another headache and Nicole is worried. Eric again tells Nicole to back off as it is nothing but a lasting affect from his concussion sustained in Africa prior to returning to Salem. He is fine. Nicole shares her fears with Greta and tells her that Celeste predicted tragedy ahead for Eric and his family. Greta reminds Nicole of all the tragedy that has happened and tells her that Celeste was probably talking about that. Nicole hopes so but wonders if it may be something else. Eric is worried about Sami, Carrie and his mother who are all missing. He tells Nicole he is sneaking off to find them. Nicole goes with him. Greta tells Shane they are missing and this worries Shane even more as this puts more people in danger of not making it off the self-destructing island.
    -Lexie tries to reach out to Abe by confessing her feelings for him just in case they don't make it off the island. Abe rebuffs her and says if they make it off she is in for some big changes when they return to Salem. He has been betrayed for the last time. Lexie worries and asks her mother if she knows anything about what is in store for everyone. Celeste says more pain, suffering, tragedy, and major upheavals in people's lives. Lexie worries about what that premonition may mean for her.
    -John is on Marlena's tail. She climbs to the top of a cliff that is near the preparing to erupt volcano. She finds herself trapped as one side of the cliff is waterfall leading into a river and the other side leads into the volcano. John makes his way up and realizes he has cornered her. Marlena pulls out her gun and tells him not to move another step. Belle and Sami see John and Marlena vaguely from the ground below and decide to make their way up. John tells Marlena he knows the woman he loves is still there somewhere. Marlena clutches her head and says she is no longer anything to him. John tells her not to listen to the voices and tells her that they belong to the mind control and are a result of the brainwashing. Marlena denies that and says the voices belong to her-they are a result of herself finally being in control of her own life so she can finally be happy and not have her life destroyed countless times on end. John says he knows she has been through alot of trauma and that she doesn't remember the good times but that is because of all the brainwashing and mind control in recent years from Andre, Wendell, Ernesto, and Tek. That and everything she has been through in her life has made her the way she is now. Marlena denies it all and seems to fighting within herself as she clutches her head and is constantly reminding herself that she is control. John says she is not in control and that this is not her but a manifestation of everything he told her about. Marlena aims the gun and tells John to shutup. She fires it and John jumps to the ground. Belle and Sami hear it and increase their speed to get up to the top of the cliff.
    -Jennifer is about to announce her choice when Shane starts yelling they need to get a move on now. The island isn't going to last much longer. Rain begins to pour down as a storm begins to move in on top of everything else. There is then a loud rumbling. Shane sees rocks and boulders tumbling down from a large rock formation nearby (NOTE: not the same as where John, Marlena, Belle, and Sami are) . Shane tells everyone to run. Victor, Maggie, Caroline, Roman, Kayla, Bo, Hope, Billie, Chelsea, and a captive Patrick take cover. Max grabs Abby as she screams to her parents to come on. The rock slide is coming fast and Jennifer, Jack, and Frankie begin to make a break for it. The rain makes the ground muddy. Jack falls. Frankie goes back for him and gets him up as a boulder makes its way right for them. Jennifer sees it and screams out "NO!!!" Jack and Frankie prepare to get hit but are then pushes aside at the last second. The both fall to the ground nearby as the rockslide continues. When the rockslide ends, everyone gets up. Victor, Maggie, Caroline, Roman, Kayla, Bo, Hope, Billie, Chelsea, and Patrick are alright. Max and Abby get off and run to Jack and Frankie's side. They are both fine but wonder who pushes them out of the way. Hope and Billie then find something and seem horrified. Abby, Max, Jack, Frankie, and everyone else makes theyr way over there and become horrified as well by the sight of a bruised and bloody Jennifer laying crushed underneath a boulder and some other rock fragments as the rain pours down and the screen fades to black and the credits roll.

    THE LEGENDARY MICKEY HORTON LEAVES DAYS!!!


    John Clarke's DAYS are sadly done...this time for good.


    Original Days cast member John Clarke is leaving Days of our Lives. The actor, who returned in May for a limited run to tie up loose ends after John Ingle (who replaced Clarke in the role) left, is out. The show decided to write out the character permanently and brought Clarke back to close things out. It is said that this is also being done to free up the character of Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) for a new storyline in the works which is rumored to be story with Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) and Caroline Brady (Peggy McKay). Clarke retired from the show previously in 2004 and the character of Mickey has been a presence on the show since it began in 1965. Mickey appeared dead during the shows latest "dead are alive" ruse last month but reappeared again late last month. "It was always short term and John knew about the ruse and that his character would be dying for real when all was said and done," says executive producer Ned Yadroc. "He said he wanted something memorable but not a long drawn out death scene. Just something sweet and dramatic to remember him by and he was very happy with it as it turned out and so were we." There are also hints that a return to alcoholism story may be in the works for Maggie. "We will see. All the fans should know is Suzanne has killer story coming up. It's weird but Mickey's death will reawaken the Horton's in a way. We feel the Horton's have not been prominent enough in recent years and have given way to the Brady's This death will begin to change all that as the Horton's will have huge roles coming up, especially Maggie." Clarke last aired on July 26 but there are rumors that he may return as a ghost in visits to Maggie in the near future. "Again, we will see," says Yadroc. "It is a great idea so the fans should keep an eye out," notes Yadroc.

    -Bo, Hope, Chelsea, Billie, Patrick, Abe, Lexie, Celeste, Roman, and Shane are with John as he tries to wake up Marlena. Lexie tells John to remember her warning about Marlena. Marlena comes to and throws John off of her. She pulls out a gun and tells them all to back off. John professes his love and devotion for Marlena and says he knows the woman he loves is still there. Roman tries to get through to her as well. Marlena clutches her head and tries to fight the voices in her head that she is sure are her own. She says she doesn't need him or anyone-she wants to destroy them all. She opens fire on them all as they all duck out of the way. Marlena runs off. John decides to go after her. Lexie reminds him of what she said earlier and that John may have to make a choice since Marlena is a danger to everyone. John understands. Shane wants to go with him but John orders him to lead the rescue and not worry about him. He has a job to do but he doesn't want it at the expense of others. He tells Shane to not wait for him if everyone is on the boats and ready. He runs off to search for Marlena. Shane and the others note how unstable the island is getting and hear the volcano rumbling. They decide to find any stragglers and get a move on.
    -Mimi is still devestated over Bonnie's death. Rex is there for her. Cassie warns Rex not to get involved with Mimi again. She sees the look in Rex's eyes and thinks he is still in love with Mimi. They reach the rescue boats. Kate gets on board with a badly burned Philip, Belle and Sami do not want to leave as they have loved ones still in the island. Shawn urges them to get on board. Belle and Sami both refuse and then run off to find the others. Shawn, Austin, and Lucas go after them. Austin tells Rex, Cassie, and Mimi to go with Kate and Philip and leave the island as Philip needs medical attention. Mimi wants to wait for Shawn and Kate, Cassie, and Rex want to wait behind for the others. Austin tells them they need to go now as Philip will need people by his side and he needs treatment. They will all be behind them in the other boats. Austin tells Rex to take care of all on the boat. The boat takes off with Kate, Mimi, Philip, Rex, and Cassie on board. Austin and Lucas are still worried about Carrie and wonder where she is. They, along with Shawn, try to find Belle and Sami who have gone off to try to find the others.
    -Maggie, Mickey, Caroline, Victor, Jennifer, Jack, Abby, Max, Frankie, and Kayla are heading for the boats. Mickey tells Maggie he hopes they make it off the island. He wants to take her on a romantic getaway on someplace other then an island since they have a bad history with them. She tells Mickey she is so happy she hasn't lost him and he dittos that sentiment. He comments on how he knows how she felt being sent to an island and thought dead. The profess their undying love for each other and are happy that it looks like they will get another chance since they are escaping the island.
    -Victor tries to convince Caroline not to shut him out. Caroline tells him they will discuss it when they reach Salem. Kayla sees this and warns Victor to back off or either her brothers or her will be forced to make him.
    -Jennifer tells Jack and Frankie that she has made a choice and will tell both men when they get home. She says Kayla helped her see the obvious and that her heart knew the answer all along. Abby hopes her mom chooses her father. Max reminds her not to let her mother's decision affect their friendship and to not get involved as it isn't her life.
    -The island is becoming unstabile. The volcano is close to eruption, the ground is shaking and opening up at will, trees are falling, there are explosions all across the island, rock slides, etc. Shane's crew meets up with Kayla. He urges them all that they need to get to the boats now. They all begin a big rush to the shoreline when they hear a loud rumbling from underneath the ground. Victor hears it and feels a shaking right under him, Maggie, and Mickey. He tells Maggie and everyone else to move as there is going to be an explosion. Maggie trips and falls. Mickey tries to get her up along with Victor, who urges everyone to get out of the way. Caroline screams for Victor. Victor gets Maggie up but Mickey stumbles yet again as the ground is unstabile and it is hard to maintain balance. He tells Victor to get Maggie to safety. Maggie turns around and screams for Mickey but the shaking gets louder and then...BOOM!!!! The area explodes sending Victor and Maggie to the ground as Caroline and the others take cover. When the smoke clears, there is nothing but a crater. Maggie screams for Mickey but he is nowhere to be found. Shane, Bo, Hope, Billie (who is guarding a captive Patrick), Lexie, Celeste, Chelsea, Abby, Max, Jennifer, Jack, Frankie, Kayla, Roman, and Caroline all search. Shawn, Belle, Sami, Austin, and Lucas join in the search but there is nothing. Shane informs Maggie that Mickey is gone as there is no way he got out of the way and that explosion still would have taken him out even if he was running from it. Maggie breaks down in Victor arms and gets hysterical. Caroline sees Victor comforting Maggie and seems unnerved. Lexie tries to convince Maggie to calm down but she won't listen. Jennifer and Hope comfort her. Shawn, Austin, Lucas, Bo, Roman, Frankie, Jack, and Shane give Maggie their condolences as Mickey was a good man and valued alot in their lives. Celeste tells Maggie that Mickey is at peace. Celeste then turns away and feels that more pain is on the way. Maggie is inconsolable. Victor embraces her and then, out of the corner of her eye, she sees Mickey looking at her. She lets go of Victor and walks over as everyone watches her. Mickey winks at her and tells her he loves her and calls her "Red" one last time. He reaches out for her hand and she reaches for it but her hand goes right through his. He says goodbye to her and begins to fade away. Maggie then heard Tom Horton calling for his son. Mickey says he has to go as "Dad is calling for him." Maggie is in tears and waves goodbye to the love of her life. Mickey disappears and Maggie breaks down as Victor catches her and holds her in his arms telling her it will be ok and she will get through this. Caroline and the others watch as Victor comforts the distraught Maggie. Shane says they need to get off the island before the lose anyone else. Shawn tells Shane about Bonnie too. Patrick is stunned and can't beleive it. Shawn reminds Patrick of his role in all this and sarcastically asks Patrick if he is proud of himself. Shane says they all need to go now. Everyone prepares to leave but Maggie refuses. She says Mickey is gone because of her. She should have went to the rescue boats and then he would've too but she insisted on staying. _Plus, she stumbled and Mickey was trying to save her. She should've stayed with him and never let Victor pull her away from him. Caroline says that she and others did the same. No one had any idea this would happen and it was an accident. Maggie blames herself and says she wants to die right along with Mickey. She is staying behind and isn't going anywhere. Everyone is stunned as the screen fades to black and the credits roll.

    BONNIE SAYS BUH-BYE TO SALEM!!!


    There will be no more horsing around for Days' Bonnie.

    Judi Evans will exit the role on Bonnie Lockhart on July 25. The exit is storyline dictated as the show felt the character had run her course. "One of the most toughest decisions ever," says executive producer Ned Yadroc. "Everyone loves Judi but we had no use for the character as the Lockharts are exiting Salem. She does get a great exit and we are happy we were able to redeem her and Mimi (Farah Fath) a bit before leaving." Sources report that Days would like to bring Judi back at some point in her former role of Adrienne Johnson Kiriakis. "We would love to and it could very well happen," admits Yadroc. "Not right now but it could."

    Fans also took note of a mysterious prisoner being held in the same compound as Philip (Kyle Brandt). The prisoner was taken out of the burning compound on July 25. "That is our big surprise return," says Yadroc. Fans need to keep an eye out because the identity will be revealed very soon...sooner then you think."

    In other news, July 25 also marked the final appearance for Kyle Brandt as Philip. The show will now use a body double as Philip was badly burned and will be in bandages upon his return to Salem. "We knew we only had Kyle for a bit and we knew he was limited while we had him. The role is being recast but not right away. Belle (Martha Madison) and Philip are important parts of Days but they will be spectators for a bit once Shawn (Jason Cook) and Mimi leave." admits Yadroc. Many beleive Jay K. Johnson will be returning but the show had no comment on that at this time.

    -Abe, Lexie, and Celeste join John and Shane. John orders the women to get to the rescue boats. Lexie thinks she should stay behind to help since she is a doctor. Shane agrees. John talks to Lexie about Marlena and asks what she thinks. Based on what she knows and has witnessed, Lexie beleives that Marlena is in her own world. All the brainwashing by Wendell as Alex and then Tek's last method of mind control he used on her put her over the edge. She only remembers the negative, the bad things in her life and that is why she thinks people are controlling her and is lashing out and wants revenge. Lexie beleives that Marlena was never supposed to end up like this but that the mind control and brainwashing was too much for her on top of everything she has been through in her life. If Tek, Wendell, and the others knew that they may have backed off a bit. She mentions how even Stefano was horrified at what she had become. Her not remembering anything but the bad makes things worse. John asks if there is anyway to bring the "old" Marlena they know and love. She tells John to remember how Marlena blew up the plane and and caused the quake on the island and now has caused it to go into self-destruct mode. She is a danger to herself and moreso to everyone around her. She has no love for anyone-the voices in her head are mere affects of all the attempts at mind control and brainwashing. The voices remind her and convince her of all the bad in her life past and present-it's almost like Tek, Wendell, etc are in her head constantly reminding her of the tragedy and pain in her life and trying to make her heartless and cold towards everyone. Johns asks what he can do. Lexie says if he should find Marlena it may be best to contain her and capture her. She may need to be in lockup. If she fights back and is putting lives in danger, John may have to make a agonizing choice and take her out. John asks if Lexie is asking him to kill Marlena if she is a threat to someone's life. Lexie says that he may not have no choice. John remembers Belle telling him that Marlena attacked her and was trying to kill her. He wonder if there is no hope and that his beloved "Doc" is gone. Lexie says the choice will ultimately be his if he is in that position.
    -Jack and Abby talk about her relationship with Max. Abby says they are friends but Jack is thinking it is something more, as is Frankie. Max tells them both to leave them alone. Jack and Frankie like the idea of Max and Abby together but Jack says he hates seeing his daughter so grown up. He feels like he has missed so much in her life that Jennifer got to see always being there. Frankie says no matter what Jennifer decides that Jack will always be Abby's dad and he could never take that spot, nor would Abby let him. They both laugh. Jennifer tells Kayla she has no idea how she choose. Kayla again suggests maybe it is best if she doesn't. Jennifer says she needs to. Kayla reminds Jennifer that she has loved Jack for years and has a family and deep history with Jack. Frankie and her were high school sweethearts and loved each other for a bit but the connections and deep feelings she has with Jack aren't there with Frankie. However, she has alot of bad history with Jack and alot of baggage. Jennifer notes both sides of the situation and tells Kayla hearing everything so laid out makes it so simple and helps her to see that she already knows in her heart who to choose. Kayla asks her who. Jennifer says she doesn't want to tell anyone until or if they get home. Kayla tells her to whisper it in her ear if she wants no one to hear. She does and Kayla tells Jennifer she knew that would be the man she chose. Jennifer says hearing it all laid out made it clear and simple-she knows one of them will get hurt but there is no other way.
    -Caroline notices the bond between Maggie and Victor as they head for the Fancy Face III with Jennifer, Jack, Frankie, Max, Abby, and Mickey. Mickey tells Caroline they are just friends and that saving each other's lives really sparked a friendship. Victor asks Caroline if she is ok. Caroline says she is fine but that he should stay away from her because of what has happened. Victor tells Caroline he will not let her go through everything alone. Caroline says her family is in shambles and she needs to repair the damage. His presence may make things worse. Caroline tells Victor they will talk about everything when they return home. Maggie comforts Victor, who feels helpless and like Caroline is beginning to shut him out.
    -Bo, Hope, and Billie are still curious as to why Chelsea is so concerned over Hope. Chelsea again says it's nothing but her feeling like she owes Hope for saving her on the island. Patrick questions Chelsea in private. Chelsea tells him to back off. Patrick says that he knows that Hope is her mother. Chelsea asks how. Patrick reminds her that he works for the Dimera's. Chelsea begs Patrick not to say anything yet. She wants to know how to deal with everything first and have a test to confirm it true since Patrick and Stefano are not exactly the most reliable. Patrick says he will keep mum. He has no reason to say anything and he has always been fond of her, Billie, and Hope. He knows this affects all of them so he will stay quiet. Chelsea thanks him. Bo, Hope, Billie, Patrick, Chelsea, Abe, Celeste, Lexie, and John all hear a moaning nearbyas they continue to search for Philip and Marlena and to check around to make sure that everyone is leaving the island. John looks in the shrubbery and finds an unconscious Marlena. It appears she was on her way to escaping when she tripped and hit her head on a rock. John begs Marlena to wake up and he hears her keep murmuring that she will get revenge and that she will destroy them all as everyone looks on horrified.
    -Philip is still imprisoned in a dark room in a compound on the other side of the island. He begins to smell smoke and realizes the compound is on fire.
    -Some island guards are still left behind and see that a boulder crashed on top of a generator and the compound is on fire. They talk about going back and getting the "other" prisoner thinking the boss would want him for future plans. They go back in and open up a cell and drag a blindfolded man dressed in black out. He appears to be disheveled and disoriented, as well as very weak. They drag him out of the burning compound.
    -Kate, Austin, Lucas, Sami, Belle, Shawn, Rex, Cassie, Mimi, Bonnie, Eric, Nicole, and Greta are searching for Philip when they see the burning compound. They hear a man screaming and recognize the voice as Philip. Belle is horrified and immediately runs into the burning compound. Shawn runs in after her. Austin, Lucas, and Rex run in to help. Kate is worried for all of them. Mimi sees an opportunity to redeem herself for everything she did and runs into the compound too. Bonnie screams for Mimi to come back and then follows her in. Nicole, Greta, Sami, and Cassie watch the fire and worry for everyone inside. Belle manages to find Philip but then sees a huge pile of burning debris fall on Philip. Shawn finds Belle, who is trying to get the debris off of Philip but it is on fire. Shawn manages to grab Philip's foot and drag him out from under the fiery debris. Belle and Shawn get a look at him and see that he is badly burned. The place begins to collapse. Shawn tells Belle to go on ahead as he carries Philip with him. Belle gets to the door of the room but debris is falling everywhere. Austin, Lucas, and Rex join her and see debris cave in on around Shawn and Philip. Belle screams for them. They manage to get out of the room and they all try to get to the exit. Mimi and Bonnie are looking for the others. Bonnie sees a part of the compound roof about to collapse on Mimi and pushes her out of the way. The debris falls on her and crushes her. Mimi tries to get it off her mother but she can't. Shawn and the others find her and try to help but are unable. Rex sees the injuries and says it doesn't look good as the debris crushed Bonnie's chest.

    Mimi: Mom...
    Bonnie: Honey, it's ok. I know what's happening. I am going to that big rodeo in the sky. At least I hope.
    Mimi: Oh you are, mom. You redeemed yourself quite well. Too bad me trying to do the same did this to you.
    Bonnie: I guess that is why that out of body experience happened earlier. I was able to do the right thing and do right by you for once. I just hate that it took me so long to realize what was right but better late then never.
    Mimi: It's ok, mom. Maybe now you will get those angel wings you have been worried about.
    Bonnie: Maybe but I still failed you. I screwed your whole life up. I screwed your relationships with Rex and Shawn up and look what I did to Patrick. He is a Dimera henchman. Thank God for Connor since I haven't totally messed up his life yet.
    Mimi (crying): We know you loved us mom. You made mistakes but you tried, unlike dad. I didn't have to listen to you but I did. YOur only crime was that you cared too much. I need to tell you this since I never did enough. I love you mom and thank you so much for being my mother. You made me proud...you made all of us proud.
    Bonnie (crying and gasping for air): Oh...yeah...I made you all proud...all my schemes and pushing you to strive for wealth...yeah I was great.
    Mimi: Look what you did now mom. You pushed me to tell the truth about Claire and now you saved my life. You fixed it all in the end and that is what good mother's do.
    Bonnie: Too bad I couldn't fix Patrick's issues. Tell him I love him and Connor too. Oh, and Max, how could I forget my lovable pup Max. Tell him I love him too. I am going to be looking down on you along with all those people up there...that is if I go there.
    Mimi: Oh you will mom...you will. I love you too...so much.
    Bonnie: I hope I get to sit right next to all the good ones...the Tom Horton's and the Shawn Brady's.
    Shawn: I think you will Mrs. Lockhart.
    Rex: Yeah...me too.
    Bonnie: Thanks...hope....your....right. M..imi...I love you baby...and thank you.
    Mimi: For what?
    Bonnie: For...being you... (Bonnie's closes her eyes and her body becomes limp)
    Mimi: No, mom, thank you for being you (cries)

    -Rex picks Mimi up off the floor and comforts her as she thanks her mother for everything and says not to worry, she has the angel credentials. Austin and Lucas try to get the body out but Mimi says to leave it. Her mother always wanted to be cremated so let her have her wish. They all get out to Kate, Nicole, Sami, and Greta. Everyone is horrified to see how badly burned Philip is. Rex insists that they need to get Philip to the rescue boats right away so he can get some medical attention or he won't make it. Shawn lifts him and they all head for the boat as the screen fades to black and the credits roll.

    Days' Kayla rolls back into Salem

    July 24 was a huge day for Days fans as Mary Beth Evans' Kayla Brady Johnson returned to Days and was revealed as Shane Donovan's (Charles Shaughnessy) stalker. "All the fans thought it was Kimberly (Patasy Pease)," says executive producer Ned Yadroc. "We wanted them to think that since it was logical. We want Kim back at some point but we are trying to work something out with Patsy and her health issues. Kayla was always intended to be brought back in this way. She is with us for good and we have big story planned for her." The big question now is-is Steve (Stephen Nichols) next? Rumors are swirling that he is the popular actor returning in the weeks ahead. "The fans will just have to wait and see. There is good stuff planned," promises Yadroc.

    In other news, Charles Shaughnessy will remain on Days on a recurring basis. "Shane will go back to London but we plan to use him frequently so we put him on recurring. He was ok with it," says Yadroc.

    Days has yet to announce that popular actor who has been dropped to recurring. An announcement is expected soon.

    Orange Ships Out Of Salem!!!


    Tek's DAYS are up!!

    Monday July 24 marked the final apperance for Rhasaan Orange as Thomas Edward Karmer, or the ISA agent/Salem PD detective better known as TEK. Orange has fluctuated between recurring and contract since May 2003 when he joined the show as the ISA protegee' of John Black (Drake Hogestyn). The exit is storyline dictated as the character's story was now finished. "The fans know about his past and we just felt there was nowhere to go with him. This gives Abe, Lexie, and Celeste lots of story and clears some pace on the canvas," notes executive producer Ned Yadroc. "We love Rhasaan and the actor and character were well-recieved but it was just his time to go."

    In other news, as fans learned on July 19, Shawn Brady Sr appears to be gone for real. Days has confirmed that Frank Parker is no longer with the show and last aired on July 19. "It was heartbreaking but Frank has had health problems and was never used a whole lot. His exit gives us huge story for the Brady's and sets up the Victor/Caroline story fans have wanted. We hate to lose Frank but this benefits us in the long run," says Yadroc.

    Keep an eye out this week for more departures as two more deaths are expected this week and sources say another may come early next week. This, along with the heavily promoted tearjerker shows for Friday and Monday, have fans worried about who may be off the show next as part of this real cast purging.

    It has also been confirmed that a popular actor at Days has been downgraded to recurring, effective September 1. Expect an announcement soon.

    -Chelsea is stunned by Stefano saying Hope is her mother. Stefano tells her a DNA test will prover it. He tells her to get to safety as the island will soon self-destruct. He runs off and thanks her again for saving him. Chelsea asks again if he has any clue about her real father but Stefano yells he doesn't know and runs off. Chelsea runs off to find the others. Meanwhile, Stefano finds a speedboat in a hidden storage hanger and takes off in it saying that the Phoenix has risen and will now be back full force. He vows to shake up Salem.
    -Chelsea runs into Bo, Hope, Billie, and Patrick. They are all relieved to see each other. Bo thinks that Billie and Hope should get to the lifeboats and take a captive Patrick with them but Hope wants to stay and help. Bo orders Billie to take Chelsea but Chelsea does not want to leave Hope. This stuns Patrick, Bo, and Billie. Chelsea insists that she owes Hope alot for saving her life and by helping to save all of their loved ones, including Hope's, she hopes that will help pay Hope back for everything. Bo and Billie don't buy it and think something else is going on, as do Hope and Patrick. They have no time to argue and drop the subject. They take off to find the others.
    -Shane is stunned to see KAYLA BRADY staring at him. He thanks her for saving his life. He opens the secret door to let John, Eric, Nicole, Austin, Lucas, Kate, Roman, Bonnie, Shawn, Mimi, Rex, Cassie, and Belle all out. They are stunned to see Kayla. Kayla explains that she has been watching Shane since he arrived in Salem to help out. She explains this goes back years, to 1995, in fact. Kimberly had brought Andrew and Jeannie for a visit to Shane. They all stayed with him. While there, Kim overheard him on the phone talking about Steve and his death. This piqued Kim's interest. She came to visit Shane at ISA headquarters and found herself in his office alone at one point. She found a file on Steve and learned that Shane was investigating and surveiling Lawrence Alamain and Stefano Dimera. There was reason to beleive that there was more to Steve's death and that one or both of the evil masterminds were involved. Kim told Kayla since she felt she should know but both women soon learned that the investigation was dropped after finding nothing. Fast forward to years later with what happened with the first Melaswen plot and now what has happened now and Kayla now thinks Steve's death could've been faked too. She knew Shane thought that and as soon as Shane left for Salem, she left California. Kim called her and told her that Shane was going to Salem to deal with the Dimera's and all the "deaths" on Morgan Island and in Salem. Kim mentioned how some of the "deaths" were like how Steve died in the hospital. This got Kayla thinking that Steve and her had enemies in Lawrence and Stefano and maybe his death may have been a ruse too. She somehow ended up on the same flight as Shane since he needed to catch a connecting flight and chose to merely follow him and not tell anyone else she was around since she knew nobody would tell her anything, especially Shane. She wanted to stay in the shadows and hopefully learn things on her own and be close enough where if she needed help she could make her presence known to Shane, John, etc. When they all left for the island, she knew she had to find her own way so she took Bo and Hope's boat and here she is. She has been searching the island for clues that may pertain to Steve and anything else and has nothing. Bo, Hope, Billie, Patrick, and Chelsea show up. Bo and Hope reunite with Kayla and she tells them the story of why she is there. Kayla also tells everyone that she is a doctor now. Kayla learns that Roman may not be Roman and that John could be. She finds it hard to beleive and says they just need to wait for medical proof before driving themselves crazy. She is happy to know everyone is alive again and is shocked about Marlena, Ernesto, Stefano, Andre, and the Wendell situation. She asks where her mother and father are. Bo and Roman break the news about Shawn Sr to her. They all embrace and hug. Kayla hugs Sami. Eric and John as well. They decide they need to go find the others. Bo thinks that some people should get to his boat and get off the island. They all refuse saying they are all in this together. John says if things get worse he will order them all to get to the boats no matter who is left behind.
    -Jennifer is still confused over Jack and Frankie. Abby tells her mother she likes Frankie but will never accept him as her mother's husband. Max tells Abby to be fair. Abby reminds Max to stay out of it and he reminds her of the pact they made to both stay out of it and not let what is going on affect them. They hug and both agree. Jennifer tells Jack and Frankie she loves both of them. She knows she will have to decide once returning to Salem. Mickey and Victor try to get Caroline and Maggie to get to the rescue boats but they won't have it. They want to find the others. They manage to meet up with Shane and crew. Caroline reunites with Kayla and they cry over Shawn Sr. Max, Frankie, Jennifer, and Jack reunite with her too, as do Mickey and Maggie. Kayla asks her mother if it was the shock over John and Roman and Rex and Cassie that caused Shawn Sr to die. Caroline says that is true but something else drove him over the edge. Roman blurts out that it was an affair with Victor. Kayla is stunned. The ground begins to shake and John orders everyone to start to get to the rescue boats and the Fancy Face III. Caroline tells Kayla they will talk later. John tells everyone to split up and start going for the boats no matter who is still behind. Kayla, Jen, Jack, Frankie, Max, Abby, Victor, Maggie, Mickey and Caroline are sent to the Fancy Face III as Bo and Hope will stay behind to help with the rescue operation. Kate, Austin, Lucas, Sami, Belle, Shawn, Mimi, and Bonnie are sent to one of the lifeboats. Greta shows up and sees Victor. She tries to tell him that he may be her father but decides not to given what is going on and everything that happened already with his affair with Caroline and all. Greta is told to go with Eric and Nicole and John decides to sent them off with Kate, Austin, and co. They all break up. Billie tells Chelsea to head for the boats too but she wants to stay with them. Bo and Hope are worried about Abe, Lexie, and Celeste.
    -On the way to the boat, Kayla catches up with Jennifer. Jennifer talks about her being caught in the middle of Frankie and Jack. Kayla tells Jennifer that maybe the best thing is to choose neither since she really loves both of them and someone is going to be hurt. Jennifer says she needs to choose one-she can't cop out of this. Kayla tells her that she will lose either way as choosing Frankie will cause problems with Abby and hurt Jack and choosing Jack would break Frankie's heart and, no matter what she chooses, this thing could have a bad affect on the friendship between Abby and Max that looks real close. Jennifer notes that they are close and this thing could really hurt their relationship no matter what way it goes. She is really torn.
    -Belle does not want to leave the island without looking for Philip. Kate, Austin, and Lucas agree. Shawn tells them all to go to the boat and that he, Austin, Lucas, and Eric will try to find him but it is to no avail as the woman want in too. They defy John's orders and along with Sami, Eric, Nicole, Greta, Bonnie, Mimi, and Shawn go to find Philip.
    -Abr orders Tek tp let Lexie go. Tek professes her love for Lexie and says he knows Lexie loves him. Lexie tries to get him to back off. Abe warns Tek he is a dead man. Tek asks Aby why he cares since Lexie betrayed him with a Dimera henchman. Abe says she is still his wife and his son's mother. Tek says his life has been hell being blackmailed and forced to work for Stefano. He has no one-he lost his mother, who was the reason why he agreed to work for the Dimera's in the first place as he needed money and they helped him get into the ISA. He needs Lexie. Abe and Celeste vow to never let him have her. Abe then lunges for Tek as Lexie pulls him off of her. Abe and Tek fight. Tek manages to grab a hold of Lexie again as Abe tries to get up. The ground begins to shake and a crater begins to open up. Lexie tries to get Tek away from her but he pledges to never give up on her. She pushes him and he falls right into the crater, which fills up with boulders and rocks from above. Lexie, Abe, and Celeste watch as Tek is crushed to death. Lexie is relieved it's over but horrified that she killed someone. Celeste insists it was self-defense. Abe agrees. Lexie asks what this means for Abe and her. Abe says it means nothing but that Tek is dead. She still betrayed him too many times and he still can't help but look at her now and see Stefano's daughter. She is a Dimera through and through and always has been. He just refused to see it but sees it now and this time he won't make the mistake of giving her another chance. It's over for good this time. He tells Celeste and her to come with him so they can find the others and get off the island. Lexie asks her mother what will happen now. Celeste says her future is uncertain like the futures of many on the island given all the reveals and recent occurances. Lexie walks off to follow Abe as Celeste is overcome by a vision of shadowy people crying in pain over what look like bodies. Celeste predicts more misery and tragedy for those on the island and insists that the worst may be ahead. She then takes off to follow Lexie and Abe to find the others as the screen fades to black and the credits roll.

    BIG DAYS CASTING NEWS-MASCOLO RETURNS AS OTHERS TAKE OFF!!!

    The Phoenix has risen again on Days.


    Days fans had a wild week last week as the first week of the hyped "The Weeks That Change Everything" event brought major shockwaves to the canvas. Among those reveals, fans learned that Wayne Northrup's character was not Stefano and saw the shocking return of Joe Mascolo to the legendary role. "It was just supposed to be a few shows based on the trade we made with B&B a few years ago," says executive producer Ned Yadroc. "As soon as Joe informed us of his being cut to recurring and his choice to leave the show altogether we jumped on it and signed him to a contract." No word yet on the length of the contract but it is said to be open-ended as Stefano is a character who is in and out frequently.


    What does this mean for Wayne Northrup? Well, as fans know, the former Alex North/Stefano wannabe turned out to be a former henchman of Stefano's named Wendell. "Wayne's last airdate was on Friday July 21," says Yadroc. "He will be on recurring and he likes it that way. It allows him to be with his family and we can still use him. That is why we made him Wendell-it really sets things up well for him and for us."

    Apparently, the same goes for Charles Cioffi (Ernesto) too. "He will recur also and his last airdate was July 21 as well. We love him and do plan on using him but I have no idea when. He has other things lined up so I guess it will have to be when it is good for him and for us but we obviously opened up alot of stories with bringing him back these last few weeks," Yadroc explains.



    Thaoo's Days are done...for now.

    Fans also are wondering about Steve Blackwood (Bart) and Thaoo Penghlis (Andre/Tony) after both appeared to die on July 21. "Bart is dead. We felt the character was taking away from the aura of the Dimera's and preventing people from taking them seriously. I love Steve but this was one tough decision that had to be made. As for Thaoo, he will be back at some point. We left Andre's death wide open but I honestly doubt we will use him. We do plan to use Tony as we did hint at Tony being out there somewhere but we have room for that story right now. It will be done but not at this point. I do think Thaoo will be back in some capacity in the future," admits Yadroc. Both Penghlis and Blackwood last aired on July 21.

    Here are some other BIG casting tidbits and Days rumors:

    -Fans will learn the identity of Shane's stalker on Monday July 24. "It is a beloved face from the past and she will be sticking around for good. We have big story planned for her." Fans should also look for another secret return of a beloved actor in the weeks ahead and he, too, will be returning for good. "He will pop up in the weeks ahead and it will be a shock to fans," says Yadroc.
    -There will be several major deaths in Salem this week. "One happens on Monday and the others will be spread out through the week. The episodes with all the dying are all tear jerkers but Friday's show will be a major one along with next Monday's," previews Yadroc. "Fans will never forget the last few deaths on the island-they will change the show forever."
    -For fans wondering where Alan (Paul Kersey) and Carrie (Christie Clark) are, they will be back in the weeks ahead. "They return in August. The first week actually. We just had so many people to play we needed to move them off the canvas. It fits nicely and fans should be assured that they won't miss nothing in this story," says Yadroc.
    -Rumors continue to swirl about the status of Deidre Hall (Marlena) as her contract is up next month and August is fast approaching. The show had no comment.
    -Missy Reeves (Jennifer) and Kyle Brandt (Philip) are rumored to have finished taping.
    -Arianne Zuker (Nicole) and Jensen Ackles (Eric) are said to be now sticking around through the end of the year.
    -The show has a lockdown on any spoilers pertaining to the current Roman story but setsiders report that no matter what Josh Taylor is staying put...at least for now.
    -Rumors persist that Will will be recast this fall for a big story.
    -It appears a beloved actor will be going recurring in the weeks ahead.
    -Rumors are circulating that there is a new co writer at Days to go with recently appointed HW Tim Lowery. Setsiders report that the show will introduce this person in an interview scheduled for mid-August, a week prior to releasing Fall Previews. Keep an eye out for more info on this and all the other casting news and rumors.

    -The crowd is led by John and Shane through the hallways of the island control center. Everything around them is collapsing. People begin to get separated in the chaos.
    -Chelsea looses track of the others and ends up separated from everyone else. Bo, Billie, Hope, and a captive Patrick (he was cuffed by Shane earlier and Billie and Hope drag him along with them).
    -Maggie, Mickey, Victor, Caroline, Jennifer, Jack, Abby, and Frankie are separated from the group when the fall behind and part of the tunnel collapses. They try to find a way out another way.
    -A handcuffed Tek manages to get out of his cuffs and make a run for it. He drags Lexie with him and then picks her up and carries her off when she refuses to go with him. He tells her he loves her and is not leaving her. Lexie says she can't forgive him after everything he has done. He says she will come to love him in time. He carries her off through the tunnels. Abe and Celeste give chase and separate from the others.
    -John, Shane, Eric, Nicole, Austin, Lucas, Kate, Roman, Bonnie, Shawn, Mimi, Rex, Cassie, and Belle remain together. Austin, Lucas, and Roman are worried about Carrie and want to search the control center. Belle is worried about Philip as is Kate, Austin, and Lucas. They are also worried about the others they have lost in these tunnels. John says they need to get out of the control center first and get everyone that is together on boats off the island. Then they can find the others. They all refuse to go anywhere without their loved ones but John and Shane urge them on. This group reaches a door and tries to bust through it. There is a small vent and John wonders if someone can climb through it and reach the other side and open the door to the outside. Shane offers to go since there is no telling what is up there and you don't want to put anyone in danger. Shane climbs into the vent and manages to make his way outside. He finds himself right outside the control center, which is disguised within the landscape of the cave. He is about to open the secret door when a huge boulder breaks off the side of a cliff above and is about to drop on a unknowing Shane.
    -Greta asks Stefano again if Victor is her father. Stefano says he is and that everything in the file is true. He stresses that they need to get out of there now. He offers to help her escape. She goes with him and they reach the outside. He orders her to find the others as he needs to go off alone to escape. Greta thanks him and mentions that she will still seek confirmation that the info and what Stefano told her is true. Stefano says she just needs to get off the island now, as does everyone, as the whole thing is coming apart. Stefano tells her to get to safety and takes off. Greta races off saying she needs to find Victor to tell him everything in case this is it and they do die on this island.
    -Ernesto reaches a helicopter. He gets in it and takes off saying he will still get his revenge. He will just lay low and bide his time and strike when no one expects it.
    -Wendell reaches a rowboat and decides to just take it thinking there is no other way. He gets in it and begins to row away saying how close he was to becoming bigger the Stefano. He will make his dream come true and will destroy the Dimera's and their enemies. This way he will be bigger then them by destroying their foes and will eliminate them completely and he dominate the world. He vows revenge as he rows away.
    -Bart and Andre are running for cover. A huge part of the cliffside collapses. Andre turns away and sees the whole thing collapse on Bart. He tells Bart to rest in peace. Andre then sees Stefano. Stefano pulls out his gun and chases after Andre. Andre runs out of room and is trapped near the caves. Stefano orders Andre to tell him where Tony is and maybe he will let him live. Andre says he will die before he ever lets Stefano know where Tony is. Stefano chokes him and again orders him to speak up. Andre tells him by time he finds Tony, he will be dead. Rocks begin to fall around them and Stefano runs for cover. When he turns around, he sees Andre and watches as half of the rock structure caves in on Andre. Stefano wonders if Andre could've survived yet again but admits this time there looks to have been no way of escape. He also wonders how he will ever find Tony now.
    -Maggie, Mickey, Victor, Caroline, Jennifer, Jack, Abby, and Frankie manage to make their way outside via finding their way out a secret exit Jack found. They decide to make a beeline for the rescue boats, which should be there by now. The men tell the women to go to the boats while they try to find the others. Jennifer, Maggie, Caroline, and Abby won't leave and demand to stay. The men have no choice but to agree despite their reservations and worrying about the women's safety with all the explosions, rock slides, etc. Greta meets up with them and sees Victor and her eyes well up with tears. Victor asks if she is ok. She says she is fine but can't seem to muster enough courage to tell him what she wants to.
    -Tek gets Lexie outside and looks for one of the secret supply rooms on the island to find a boat to get them off the island. Abe and Celeste catch up and order Tek to stop. Tek tells Abe he loves Lexie and knows she loves him and he won't give up. Abe tells Tek that he either let's Lexie go or faces death. Celeste then has a horrible feeling and feels that death is upon them.
    -John, Eric, Nicole, Austin, Lucas, Kate, Roman, Bonnie, Shawn, Mimi, Rex, Cassie, and Belle wait for Shane to open the door. The falling boulder is about to hit Shane when he is pushed out of the way by a woman (it is the same woman who has been stalking Shane since he returned and took Bo and Hope's boat, "Fancy Face III," to get to the island. Shane turns around and thanks the person and then is shocked by who he sees looking him right in the face.
    -Bo, Hope, Billie, and Patrick look for Chelsea. Hope tells Bo and Billie about how Chelsea and her bonded and how Zach returned as an angel to help her save Chelsea's life. Billie thanks Hope for saving Chelsea and is pleased that they bonded. Hope and Billie both wonder if all the hate can be put in the past now. Bo thanks Hope for saving his daughter too. They desperately try to find Chelsea as conditions on the island worsen.
    -Chelsea manages to make her way outside by crawling through a vent and making her way outside. She dusts herself off and goes off to fidn the others. She comes around the corner and bumps right into Stefano. He says he is in a hurry. A tree gets uprooted and Chelsea sees it and pushes Stefano out of the way. He thanks her for saving his life. She says she hates everything his organization, family, etc. has done to her family she she has no idea why she saved him. Stefano says he has an idea why. He says that since Chelsea did him a favor he will do her one and tell her a little secret that only he, Wendell, Ernesto, and Andre know. Chelsea doesn't want to listen to lies but Stefano tells her that all the proof is on the disk Sami has and she can do a lab test to confirm it as well.

    Stefano: It was a setup.
    Chelsea: What was?
    Stefano: Bo and Billie...the search and all...there was never a need for it.
    Chelsea: What...?
    Stefano: Well, there is no need to search for someone that is dead...someone like Georgia Brady.
    Chelsea: But I am Georgia, Yeah, I mean I changed my name but still...
    Stefano: Darling, you are not Georgia. That poor child died in the bayou at birth. I had no reason to take that baby and do everything you, Bo, Billie, and everyone else thought I did with you. It was all made up by Andre and Wendell and planted on this island during the first island plot for Billie and Bo to manipulate their lives and try to one up me once again. It was not his plan but he knows the truth.
    Chelsea: So, you are saying Bo and Billie are not my parents and that Georgia Brady is dead? If you are telling the truth, who are my parents? I was adopted so it isn't the Benson's? You are lying-this is all a big game...
    Stefano: You just saved my life-I wouldn't lie. Besides, what reason would I have? You can go have a lab test done or look at the disk Sami has-both will prove me right. No use arguing-we need to get off this island before we all perish. Now go find the others...
    Chelsea: Wait, if not Bo and Billie, then who? Who are my parents?
    Stefano: I can't say, nor do I really know, who your father is but your mother's name is, or I mean was, Gina.
    Chelsea: Gina?
    Stefano: Yes, Gina. The Princess Gina von Amburg. Not the real one but...
    Chelsea: Oh my God...it can't be ...
    Stefano: Yes, it is true. Your mother is...
    Chelsea: Hope...HOPE BRADY!!!!

    The screen then fades to black on a shocked Chelsea's face as the credits roll.

    -The crowd continues to react to all the reveals and to Shawn Sr's death.
    -Roman comforts Caroline as a helpless Victor looks on and blames himself. Maggie comforts him. Mickey asks Maggie how close Victor and her got while he was away. Maggie explains how Victor and her have saved each other's lives. Mickey understands and thanks Victor again for protecting his wife. Victor thanks Maggie for all she has done. He feels greatful they have become friends. He just wishes he could help Caroline but now her family is going to be put through the wringer. He just hopes he is blamed and not her-he doesn't want her to lose her family now that she lost her husband.
    -Roman tells Caroline that he will not allow Victor anywhere near her. He will make him pay for his father's death. John makes mention of the fact that Roman might not be Roman. Roman says it makes no difference-Shawn is still his pop no matter what. Bo tells Roman to calm down and let Victor console Caroline. Roman tells Bo to stay out of it and to not show any bias. Hope tells Bo it will be better if he stays out of it since Victor is his father. Victor thanks Bo for his support.
    -Hope comforts Bo. Bo wonders if this is the beginning of Hope coming back to him. Hope tells him not to push it. Billie consoles Bo and offers her condolences to Caroline and Roman. Kate does so as well. Cassie and Rex also issue their condolences as they will always think of Shawn as their grandfather after these past 3 years. Sami wonders where Carrie is since she should be here for this. Austin and Lucas are still worried and ask Stefano where she is. Stefano has no clue as does Wendell, Ernesto, and Andre.
    -John comforts the Brady's and even hugs Sami. Sami backs away and reminds John that they don't know anything yet so he should not act like her father.
    -Bonnie tries to calm Mimi down as she is unable to comfort neither Shawn or Rex because of Belle and Cassie. Bonnie just tells her to wait until things calm down. Shawn pushes Belle away and tells her they can't let themselves get caught up in mourning and make it an excuse to let their feelings for each other take over. Belle reluctantly agrees but is happy that Shawn still has feelings for her.
    -Alice, Lexie, Celeste, Doug, and Julie also offer condolences to the Brady's. Abe comforts Roman and Bo. Celeste predicts more upheaval and tragedy for everyone. Jennifer, Jack, Abby, and Chelsea console Frankie and Max. Chelsea is jealous when Max accepts Abby's comfort rather then her's. Jack sees how close Jennifer and Frankie are as she consoles him and wonders if he will be the odd man out. Caroline embraces all her children. Stefano orders Bart to get a body bag. Even his enemies must rest in peace respectfully. Shawn's body is zipped into the bag by Lexie. Stefano orders it to be put on a boat to be sent back to Salem. He also offers to send Alice and two other people back with the body since the boat can fit four. John wants to know why Stefano is being so pleasant. Stefano says that this island plan was not his and is nothing more then a travesty. Yes, he still hates most of them but he has no problem with Alice Horton and despite hating Shawn he does think even an enemy deserves respect in death. Shane suggest Mickey and Maggie go but Maggie wants to stay behind to help. Mickey says he wants to as well and thinks it would be better of Doug and Julie go since they are capable of fighting back if this is a double cross by Stefano. Stefano insists it isn't but Shane says they better not take chances and Julie is still quite young so Doug and Julie should go. Alice, Doug, and Julie leave with the body and wish everyone well. Stefano even offers Shane a radio to call for help for more boats. Stefano says this is not how he wants to get revenge-this plan was never supposed to happen like this. Ernesto, Andre, and Wendell are furious. Marlena is as well. Stefano says that all aspects of this plan are a farce and have done more harm then good. Shane takes the radio and calls for help. Marlena says she wants her revenge and orders Stefano to put an end to this. Stefano reminds Marlena that everything promised her was under Wendell, not him. It pains him to see Marlena so deranged and lost. Marlena insists she is not crazy and then claims the voices she hears is the voices of herself finally making her own choices and not under anyone's control. Lexie explains that all the brainwashing and trauma over the years must have finally taken it's stride. Tek explains that Wendell made him commit a special act of brainwashing on Marlena on Morgan Island when everyone was looking for Stefano/Wendell. It is very extreme and it's purpose was to only make Marlena remember the bad things that have happened such as her many deaths, all the bad things her family and herself has gone through, etc. It was all that combined with Wendell brainwashing her for months as Alex that led to this. She has no other memories but the bad ones and blames all those she loves for the bad things that have happened. Lexie thinks all that Tek explained means that everything that has happened to Marlena may have caused a split personality of sorts only the "bad" Marlena is in control as the "good" Marlena can't be because she can't recall the good times in her life because of not having her full memory. The voices are probably the result's of Wendell and Tek's brainwashing just reminding her of all the bad things she has been through and of everything Wendell wanted her to do while he was acting as Stefano. Marlena insists she is not brainwashed and that she only did what Wendell/Stefano wanted because she had her own plans for revenge and liked the idea of helping to 'kill" some of them and putting them on the island. This wat it would get all those that hurt her together so she could destroy them all. That is what the explosion she set off on the island was for. Everyone is stunned she did that and caused the earthquake. Marlena insists that she won't stop until they all suffer. Stefano is outraged at Wendell and Tek over what has happened to Marlena. John tries to get through to Marlena but to no avail. She is uneffected by anything, including Shawn Sr's death and the possibility of John being Roman.
    -Ernesto gets fed up and says he is going to get revenge and no one, including Stefano, will stop him. He tries to find the tape he made of Philip reacting to the Claire news.
    -John asks why she had to shoot Wendell along with Abe on Morgan Island. Marlena says it was part of the plan as everyone had to beleive Wendell/Stefano was dead so the plan could run smoothly. She only did his bidding because she wanted to take advantage of the setup on the island to get revenge. John tells Marlena that everyone loves her and there is no reason for revenge. Marlena tells John to back off. Stefano begs Marlena to come with him and he can help her. Marlena pulls out a gun and tells everyone to back away. She is sick and tired of all of them and admits she planned to double-cross Wendell/Stefano and Andre as soon as she was done using them to set everything up perfectly for her to get her revenge on the island. Even though their plans didn't work out, her's still can as she can still kill them all. She had hopes to torture them first but she will just have to settle for them all dying. She is mad that Alice, Doug, and Julie left so they can't be a part of it too but she says she will have revenge on them too as they will suffer knowing everyone else is dead. John tells Marlena that she loves them and everyone else and that she doesn't want to see anyone hurt. The Marlena he loves and that everyone loves is still there. Marlena clutches her head and tells John and everyone to back off. She escapes through a secret door, which locks behind her. John orders Stefano to let them out so he can get Marlena. Stefano says he has no idea how to get out as Wendell, Andre, and Ernesto know the controlls.
    -At that moment, Ernesto puts a tape in and announces he wants everyone to watch it (thinking it's the tape of Philip), especially Victor. The tape pops on and shows Tek and Lexie having sex in her office. It them shows them talking about lying to Abe and then having sex in a car, in the park, and in a hospital exam romm. It even shows how Wendell/Stefano ordered Tek to brainwash Theo via his mini-stereo to mention to Abe that Alex was the one who had sex with Lexie and to make Abe think he was raping her, hence the reason why Abe was led into a trap on Morgan Island when he confronted Alex/Stefano/Wendell and was "killed" by Marlena and brought to the island. The mystery man that arranged to brainwash Theo and set that all up is revealed to be Tek. The tape also has Wendell at the end acting as Stefano saying, "Commander Carver, do you really want a wife like this that would rather spend her nights with a secret Dimera operative instead of you? Guess your wife really is a Dimera..." Abe is furious and lashes out at Lexie. Roman, John, Hope, and Bo stand up for Abe and can't beleive Lexie did this and can't beleive Tek did it either. Abe tells Lexie that she has betrayed him for the last time. Jonah, Brandon, and now this-he is going to make sure she loses everything. She is a true Dimera and he won't have his son raised by her and that family curse. Stefano tells Abe he has no say in that and that he will never let Abe have his grandson. Abe vows to go to war with Stefano to keep Theo away from him. Celeste reminds Lexie that she warned her about this. Lexie is devestated and can't stand the looks everyone is giving her and tells them to turn away. Tek tells Lexie he is sorry but Celeste and Lexie lay into him for using Theo in this whole plot and for working for her father to break up her family. Lexie slaps her father but Stefano insists that the last few years of Tek's activities were not of his doing. He has not ordered Tek to do anything for him since about 6 years ago since he has been ill and in captivity. This was all Wendell even though he wishes he did it himself and says he is happy tthis happened. Lexie ignores her father and tells him to stop badmouthing her marriage and family with Abe. She slaps Wendell and Tek. Tek pledges his love to her and says he wants to be with her. He really did fall in love with her. Lexie tells him she will never want him now. Stefano tells Tek he won't let him be with his daughter either and that he would be wise to listen to his instructions from now on. Tek and Patrick both say they are done working for Stefano and all of his companions. They try to escape but are held back by Roman and Shane. Stefano tells Shane to handle Patrick and Tek in his own way as they are no longer being protected by him anymore. Shane says he can just send Stefano to jail to but Stefano insists he has done nothing but that he will gladly answer to the charges brought on him in 2001 as he left Salem.
    -Stefano privately thanks Wendell for the plot he created with Tek to break up Lexie and Abe. Stefano insists that he is still going to kill Wendell but does thank him. Wendell tells Stefano that it must kill him to know he did something that Stefano never could-break up his daughter's marriage. Stefano is angry and tells Wendell that he will now make sure he dies a slow and painful death. He wants revenge for Wendell's crimes against him and the same goes for Andre.
    -Ernesto wonders where the tape he is looking for is. Stefano apologizes to Ernesto and says he switched the tapes and hands him the tape he wanted. Stefano knew what Wendell did to Lexie and Abe via Tek and wanted to make sure the tape got viewed so Lexie and Abe would be over once and for all. Now Lexie can be the best Dimera she can be and Theo can be raised as one as well. Ernesto understands and thanks Stefano. He insists that Stefano let him keep his enemies on the island so he can get revenge. Stefano tells him he can have Victor and that is it. Ernesto privately says that is not enough and that he won't let Stefano stop him from getting revenge as this island plot was mostly his idea from the get-go.
    -Ernesto announces that he found the tape he wanted. He plays it. Belle, Shawn, Mimi, Kate, Victor, Billie, Rex, Cassie, Austin, and Lucas along with everyone else are horrified to see Philip's reaction to learning the trith about Claire and Belle, especially him asking the guard to kill him. Victor demands to know what happened to Philip, as pdes Kate and Belle. Shawn tells Mimi to look at what she did. Bonnie tells Shawn to back off and reminds everyone that this is why Mimi, her, and Kate did what they did. No one buys it. Victor demands to know where his son is and if he still lives.
    -Meanwhile, on another part of the island, Alice, Doug, and Julie board the boat with Shawn Sr's body and hope for the best for their loved ones. At this same time, another boat arrives. It's Bo's "Fancy Face III" and Shane's stalker is driving it. The woman docks the boat and gets off and races off into the jungle.
    -Victor approaches Ernesto and demands to know his son's whereabouts. The whole island is then rocked by an explosion and shaking. Alarms begin to go off saying, "Warning! Warning! Demolition Sequence Activated!! Countdown to Demolition Has Begun!!!" John asks what is going on. Bart says that his mimi-camera shows that Marlena broke into the island control center and activated the demolition sequence. It causes explosions and causes the inactive volcano on the island to fester and erupt. The island will basically self-destruct as the explosions that will be set off will set off earthquakes, a volcano eruptiuon, rockslides, and the island to tear itself apart. Everyone then hears Marlena's voice as she uses the PA system in the control room saying, "I still got my revenge....MAY YOU ALL BURN IN HELL!!!" Bart tells them all to run for it. Bart and Andre escape through a secret door. Ernesto manages to find a secret exit as well. Stefano follows him out it. Greta, knowing that Stefano confirmed what was in the file Sami found, goes after him. The door closes behind her. Greta yells out to Stefano and he stops. She says she knows he isn't very reliable but he did sort of confirm what was in the file Sami found. She tells him she found a file too and needs him to tell her what he knows. She needs to know the truth.
    -John and Shane manage to bust through the door they were led through by the guards to get in the room and urge everyone to stick together as they leave. Everyone rushes out the door, led by Shane and John, but the ground under them is becoming unstable. The roof and walls begin to collapse as everything is in chaos as the Salemites try to stay together and shield themselves from the falling debris.
    -Stefano and Greta are trying to shield themselves too.

    Stefano: We need to get out of here. You can find out what you need on your own.
    Greta: I just need an answer. I know you once cared about my mother before you put her through hell and she betrayed you. I also know that you always had a soft spot for me and, up until today, I beleived you were my father because that is what my mother told me on her deathbed. That is why I never told anyone else but I don't think my mother really knew who my father was. You do and it is all in this file. I need you to tell me. Please!! I will still get a test done back in Salem to confirm it, that is if I get back there. I still need to hear it from you though so please!!!
    Stefano: Greta, this is not the best time. We need to get...
    Greta: Just tell me Stefano!! Is this file right?!!! Is VICTOR KIRIAKIS my father?!!!

    -Everything is collapsing around Greta and Stefano as Greta waits for an answer and the screen fades to black and the credits roll...

    -The crowd waits to hear what Sami has to say as Wendell urges her on to explain what she found.

    Wendell: Oh come on, Sami. You are never one to remain silent about something that could destroy people's lives. Come on, just tell us about the file you are hiding.
    Sami: Just shutup alright. It's nothing.
    Roman: Well, Sami, it has to be something since you said earlier that you wanted to talk to me.
    John: Yes and you wanted to tell me something earlier to. In fact, you have been acting strange since I found you in the cave. You have actually been cooperative and pleasant to me.
    Kate: That's a change (rolls eyes)
    Wendell: Come on Sami, spill it!!
    Stefano (looking at Sami): Perhaps you shouldn't do something you will regret Samantha...
    Wendell: Don't let him intimidate you Sami.
    Stefano : I am not trying to intimidate her. I am merely trying to get her to reconsider telling everyone something that is most likely not true.
    Wendell: Oh, come on Stefano. You and I both know that the files Andre and I tranferred to this island all contain secret information that is the honest to God truth.
    Sami: Oh my God. Are you saying that everything in that room is true? For sure?
    Wendell: Yes, of course. We got them from a secret safe in one of Stefano's lairs in Switzerland. As I said, Andre and I moved them here for safekeeping and to make them accessible to us in case we need them.
    Sami: Oh my God it's true.
    Greta (to herself): That must mean the file I found is true too. He must really be my father.
    Roman: Sami, what is true?
    John: Sami just tell us.
    Lucas: Come on Sami. If it isn't true, then it isn't true. Let us decide for ourselves.
    Sami: Ok, alright. I wanted to tell you anyway but not like this. This file I found was in a secret room in the catacombs and I also have a disk in which I downloaded all the information regarding the Dimera secret files onto it. This file I just had to take to show you right away what I discovered. There is also a DVD inside too but I have not seen that yet.
    Stefano: Samantha, don't do this...
    Wendell: What's the matter Stefano? I would think you would like this since it is going to cause chaos in the lives of many of your enemies.
    Stefano: Shutup you fool.
    Roman: Sami, just give it to me.
    John: Come on Sami. Hand over everything you found so we can look at it.

    Sami takes out the file and disk and hesitates while looking at a glaring stare from Stefano. She is worried but decides that everyone has a right to know. She hands everything over to John and Roman. Shane, Abe, Bo, and Hope come over to look at the information too.

    Roman: What is all this?
    John: This can't be...
    Bo: What John?
    John: The missing information I thought was destroyed years ago. There was a file on the Pawn plot but it was destroyed. It was the last piece of information about my past that I knew of but this could be it.
    Hope: Oh my God. Did you guys see this?
    Roman: Oh my...
    John: This means...
    Sami (teary eyed watching them look over the file): I know what you are thinking and your right. I didn't want to beleive it was true but looking at Stefano right now and the look on his face and seeing as these files were kept so secretive it has to be right.
    Roman: It can't be.
    Sami: (looking at Roman while in tears): Dadd...dad...I am so sorry but this file seems to say that you may not be my father.
    Stefano: Of course not, HE NEVER WAS!! There are you happy Wendell. It is out now!! You ruined everything so I may as well not deny it. But, maybe this is a good now. I can salvage this as this bombshell will cause misery for many of my enemies.
    Sami: So you are saying this is true?
    Stefano: You have the file. You tell me...
    Sami: Just tell me!!!!
    Stefano: Very well. Yes, it's true. Everything from the file is true. The man you all think is Roman is not and John Black is. Happy? Now let the mayhem begin.

    Sami looks at John.

    Sami: Oh my God!!!
    Eric: How can this be?
    Roman: I can't beleive this. Then who the hell am I?
    John: I'm Roman Brady...
    Caroline: Oh dear God, what is going on?
    Shawn Sr: The Dimera's are wreaking havoc on our lives again!!!

    Everyone in the crowd reacts. Bo looks at Hope, Abe, and Shane stunned. Kate is stunned. Eric is upset and gets another headache as Nicole comforts him and remains worried about him. Marlena looks surprised and seems a bit affected but quickly covers her emotions up as a nonreactive look graces her face once again. Stefano looks on pleased, wondering if this was a good idea after all.

    -John begins to question the validity of the file. Bo and Hope think that the best thing is to examine the disk and file once they leave the island and also do a DNA test too. John agrees, as does Roman, Roman is clearly flustered. Bo and Caroline ask if he is ok. Roman says he just wants to get off the island and find out the truth once in for all. If this info is true, he doesn't have an indentity. Shane tells the Brady's and everyone else to calm down before getting worked up over nothing. They have believed for years that this man is Roman and that this man is John. They can't get worked up over some file. Sami says she beleives it's true, despite not wanting John to be her father. Shane again reminds Sami to calm down until they know for sure.
    -Wendell is dismayed by the fact that Stefano is happy about this secret coming out. He thought he would be upset. Stefano explains that there is a silver lining and that this reveal will cause nothing but pain and misery. Wendell says that is if they all get off the island. Stefano says he wants them all off the island as they will suffer even more in Salem then if they died or were kept locked up. Ernesto agrees with Stefano but wants to get revenge on his enemies too. Stefano promises Ernesto he will get that. Andre wonders what will happen to him now as Stefano hates him even more now. He blames Wendell for what has happened and his plans being a mess. Wendell and Stefano both joke about how Andre will never be a true Dimera and will never even have a piece of the empire. Stefano tells Andre he will pay for all the crimes he commited against the Dimera name. Wendell sees an opportunity to further anger Stefano against Andre and to get back at Andre for all the problems he has given him in the past so he tells Stefano that knows of something Andre did to Tony that is horrible. Stefano wants to know where Tony is but Wendell doesn't know and Andre refuses to tell. Stefano asks Wendell what Andre did. Wendell gets the crowd's attention, interupting all the reaction to the John/Roman news, and says he has an announcement to make that will also effect the Brady's.

    Caroline: What now?
    Shawn Sr: How much can my family take?
    Wendell: You all know about Rex and Cassie-the twins Stefano genetically engineered?
    Rex: What about us?
    Stefano: Yes, Wendell. They all know about them. They all know that I tried to perfect them genetically to make them the perfect Dimera's, capable of doing almost anything they needed to to succeed and sustain the empire.
    Cassie: So that is why you did it but why? We weren't even Dimera's and you had to know that since you arranged somehow artificially for Kate and Roman to be are parents.
    Stefano: I never did that. Tony and Marlena are your parents.
    Wendell: Exactly. Andre arranged it for Rex to be tricked into beleiving that Tony and Marlena were not his parents and that Roman and Kate were. It was all part of destroying Tony's life and breaking his heart and, of course, this was all planned prior to the Tony/Andre switch.
    Kate: Oh my God.
    Roman: All these lies. I don't know what is true anymore.
    Rex: This means we are still Dimera's.
    Cassie: Are you sure?
    Wendell: Yes. You are Tony and Marlena's children, just like you thought originally.
    Stefano: For once, I agree with Wendell.
    Ernesto: They are both right. I was never made aware of this scheme but I am sure you are both Dimera's as Stefano has said.
    Andre(looking at Wendell): You bastard. How could you do this to me?
    Wendell: Well, you have ruined my plans at times and I am just looking for you to pay as badly as I am when Stefano gets a hold of me. May as well bring you down with me.

    Stefano promises that they are both going down for their betrayals. Kate can't beleive Rex and Cassie are not her children. Mimi, Belle, and Shawn are stunned. The Brady's are stunned. Roman says they will need a DNA test to confirm this once they get off the island. Rex and Cassie seem happy but are very close to the Brady's. They wonder how this will affect the two families if true. Shawn Sr is getting very upset by all these unconfirmed revelations. Caroline, Bo, John, Roman, and Hope beg him to calm down. Ernesto watches as Victor comforts Caroline and Shawn Sr seems upset about that. Ernesto sees an opportunity here to hurt Victor's family even more. He remembers that Wendell had a tape that had something to do with some secret Caroline and Victor were keeping that could destroy the Brady's. Figuring this could add turmoil to Victor's life, Ernesto asks one of the guards where the video is. The guard says it is near the monitor. Ernesto puts it in and tells the crowd that the fun is not done yet.

    Ernesto: I have more good stuff for you. God knows I can't let the Dimera's have all the fun while revealing all these secrets. Stefano, you don't mind me taking the floor and getting a little revenge do you?
    Stefano: Of course not, old friend. I think I have an idea what you have in mind hearing the little bits of info I have on the island since my arrival here.
    Ernesto: Yes, I think you may enjoy this as well. I encourage all of you, especially the Brady's, to brace yourselves for a true shock.

    The tape plays and we see Caroline and Victor in the castle they were held in. The crowd sees the night that Andre had tried to recreate their past with fragrances and smells, as well as food, candles, etc. It was the same schemes he used on Roman and Marlena to push them closer. The crowd then sees Carolien and Victor get caught up in the moment and everything else and begin to kiss. They all watch as they fall onto the bed and make love. The crowd is horrified.

    Roman: Ma!!
    Bo: I don't...
    Sami: Grandma...
    Shawn Sr: How could you do this to me?!!! I am your husband. You told me your feelings for him were in the past. You told me you were just friends!!!
    Caroline: Shawn, I am so sorry!!
    Victor: Shawn, you have to understand...
    Shawn: You shutup!!! This is one revelation tonight we know is true because the truth is right here and it written on your faces.
    Caroline: Shawn, I love you. You know that. It was everything Andre did-the reminders of the past and...
    Shawn: Don't make excuses!! You betrayed me again!! You told me...argh..oh....can't...
    Caroline: Shawn. Oh my God. His heart. Victor-I knew this would happen when he found out. That is why I kept the truth hidden. Shawn...oh..somebody...Lexie...help

    Lexie runs over.

    Lexie: Shawn...stay calm...relax
    Shawn: Roman....John...Rex....Cassie...My wif....Vic...too ...muc...
    Bo: Pop, stay strong.
    Roman: Come on Pop...
    John: Shawn..you need to calm...
    Shawn: My chest...GOD MY HEART!!!!

    Shawn passes out in Caroline's arms. Lexie begins CPR as Caroline and everyone else hopes and prays.

    Lexie (looking up in tears): I am sorry. We lost him. It all must have been too much.
    Caroline: NO!!! (Breaks down in tears)
    Bo: Pop...
    Roman: Oh God no...not now..
    Sami: Grandpa...Oh God...I never should have told him what I found....
    Lucas: Sami, you had to. It was finding out everything together that was too much.
    Celeste: All the pain and suffering I predicted...it has come true. There is even more to come. More revelations...more pain...death!!! Even those I love will be affected...DEAR GOD NO!!

    Rex and Cassie comfort each other. Hope embraces Bo. Lucas and Austin try to console Sami. The crowd is upset and in tears. Victor tries to comfort Caroline but Roman stops him.

    Roman: Stay the hell away from my mother. You have done enough...

    Victor backs away. Maggie leaves Mickey's side.

    Maggie: Victor...I know you want to comfort her but...
    Victor: She has her family and she needs them and they her. They have rough times ahead.
    Maggie: I know you never meant harm. You care for her so much...come here...

    Maggie and Victor embrace as Mickey watches. Marlena sees her father in law on the floor and a single tear drops down her face.

    Marlena: No!! The"old" Marlena cared but I don't. I must not let everything that is happening bother me. They controlled me and never cared for me. All they did was hurt me. I am happy about all this...I am happy about their pain.
    John: No, your not and you know it.

    Marlena backs away from John and, still holding the gun in her hand. orders him to back away which he does.

    Belle comforts Shawn and a jealous Mimi sees it. Mimi goes over to Rex and tries to reach out and comfort him but is interupted by Cassie.

    Cassie: Back off and let us mourn the man we once thought was our grandfather.
    Mimi: Fine.

    Mimi goes back to Bonnie.

    Wendell, Andre, and Stefano stand there and watch all the mourning.

    Stefano: I never thought I would see this day. The Brady family patriarch dead.
    Wendell: You should be happy. Are you?
    Stefano: No. Not really.
    Ernesto: Well, Stefano. This turned out better then I thought. The Brady's...Victor's family...all in shambles. I never intended for a man to die but Caroline will hate Victor for destroying her family. Once again, Victor has destroyed a family and marriage, just like he did mine.
    Stefano: Shawn and I were never friends but losing the leader of the enemy almost casts a pall over any excitement you should have over seeing a man you despise die. I guess it's the joy of the chase, or, in this case, the joy of having him alive to get revenge on or to torture. It's surreal...a world without Shawn Brady Sr. I never thought I would see this day.

    The Brady's continue to mourn. Roman embraces his mom. Stefano watches and says...

    Stefano: With everything the Brady's have learned and gone through tonight, a new era has begun. The war has entered another phase. A phase that is full of the unknown and the unpredictable. I guess you can say...let the games begin...

    The screen then fades out and the credits roll.

    1st Scene: Crowd of Islanders remains in the large room on the west side of the Melaswen control center. Crowd is still reacting to seeing two Stefanos-one that looks like the old and one that looks like the man once thought of as Alex North.

    John: I can't beleive this.
    Hope: Yeah. One Stefano was a nightmare but two is like something taken out of a horrow movie.
    Stefano (Joe Mascolo): There is no more then one Stefano Dimera...and that is who I am. This man is nothing more then a former lieutenant of mine named Wendell. Admit it your backstabbing son of a bitch!!!!
    Stefano (Wayne Northrup): Fine. I can't deny it now with you right here anyhow. My name is Wendell and I once worked for Stefano before I betrayed him.
    Stefano : Now that we have that settled, you all were gathered here to be told the secrets behind the two Melaswen plots that have been a source of great tension in your lives. Wendell, acting as me, was going to describe in great detail the goings on that led to the pinpoint planning of these two schemes so I now feel as though I should be the one to complete this task as I was the one who collaborated on the plan with Ernesto here. You should all consider yourself lucky that I returned on the nick of time. This way you will all know the truth-something my dear friend Wendell here is known to have trouble with.
    John: Oh, and you don't?
    Stefano: John, and this goes for everyone else too, please no interuptions as I tell the in-depth truth behind my connection with Ernesto, how these island plots came to be, Wendell, the Tony and Andre switch, and where I have been. I don't usually dish out Dimera family secrets but since my identity was stolen from me I am in a giving mood and feel as though I should return my name and my family's name to its former glory after all that was done by Wendell and my crazed nephew here to destroy it.
    Andre: Oh, now I am crazy. You used to like me.
    Stefano: No interuptions please. Now here it goes ladies and gentlemen. The truth you all seek will now be exposed to you step by step.

    The crowd all looks at each other. Marlena, Andre, Patrick, Tek, Lexie, Bart, and Ernesto wonder what is about to happen. Stefano looks on at the crowd in anticipation at what he is about to do as the screen fades away to the Days of our Lives Theme.

    Second Scene: Same room with the crowd, waiting in anticpation for Stefano to begin.

    Stefano: I suppose I should begin with how I met Ernesto. It was well before coming to Salem. I was at a business party when our paths crossed. Victor, you should remember this as you were at the same party. It took place in Rome at Rosario Benevienti's hotel suite.
    Victor: I vaguely remember that. yes. Come to think of it, I remember you and Ernesto were in a corner and having quite the discussion.
    Stefano: Yes, that is where we got acquainted. Afterwards, we made business deals here and there but were never close until I arrived in Salem. Eventually, Ernesto became a vital necessity to my organization. He provided me with many of my secret lairs and also with supplies and technology that has helped me over the years in my many escapes and "deaths."
    John: Now that explains alot. Ernesto was always a man of illusion and you, Stefano, were always one to use illusion to add to your mystique in your many "deaths" and rises.
    Stefano: Yes, John. Ernesto has been of great benefit to me. It should also be noted that Ernesto's organization was what helped me to acquire the brain chip technology I used on Hope and you. The dear,s esteemed Dr. Rolf, that some of you know and some may not know, was actually someone hired by Ernesto to help to develop the technology that Ernesto used for his many illusions and for the brain chip technology. He later came to work with me after Ernesto was no longer in need of his services and became a valued employee until he went MIA, Rolf was of great use to me as he used all the technology and advancements that he created with Ernesto for me.
    Hope: I can't beleive all this and Ernesto being behind the brain chip-it's unbelievable.
    Ernesto: Yes. I worked with some scientists and various technicians who were developing this risky at the time technology. Once it seemed ready and perfected, I was able to get my hands on it first and, since Stefano and I were business associates, him and I made a deal involving the technology once he acknowledged his interest in it. I never found out who he used it on until years later, well after mine and Hope's presumed demises.
    John: I can't beleive this.
    Stefano: Well, beleive it John. I implanted the chip in you shortly after I first acquired the technology from Ernesto, which was around after I kidnapped you after falling over the...
    John: Falling over what...cliff? Wait, that was around the time Roman fell to his supposed death.
    Bo: Yeah, John. I remember when we were looking in Gina's past with you it linked your time with her back to 1985-the year after I thought my brother had died after falling over the cliff fighting with Stefano.
    John: Why would you say that Dimera? Why are you connecting Roman's "death" with my getting implanted with the brain chip?

    Stefano looks on nervously, as does Smi. Wendell sees how nervous Sami is and sees her clutching the file she found under her jacket. He then gets an evil smirk on his face.

    Wendell (to himself-voiceover): Well, if Stefano is going to blow me out of the water and ruin my plans perhaps I should ruin his too and expose some of his secrets. He may kill me for betraying him yet again but he will probably kill me anyway so may as well go down fighting and knowing I destroyed his plans like he destroyed mine.

    Wendell looks at Stefano and then at Sami as the screen fades out.

    3rd Scene: Everyone waits for Stefano to answer John.

    Stefano: Well, while waiting in the shadows with Greta earlier to make my grand entrance into this gahtering I overheard Ernesto refer to how hard it was to call you John instead of Roman for him. I guess that just got the idea of Roman into my mind.
    Roman: Really? why do I get the feeling there is more to it then that lame excuse.
    John: Yeah, Dimera. All that time off has made you lose your touch.
    Stefano: Beleive what you will. We must move on. Shortly after providing me with that technology, Ernesto and I did not make contact for awhile. He never contacted me again until he reached his island after the Loretta ship sank in 1990. This was, of course, one of the many times Salem thought I was dead. Ernesto was with Isabella, the woman he beleived to be his daughter, and told me he was going to finally have his revenge. He told me of his plot to kill his own daughter via poison-almost like a punishment to Loretta for betraying him with Victor. He asked me for a favor since he was afraid of the possibility of being outnumbered by the Loretta castaways if they survived the ship sinking. He asked me to have some of my men come to the island to assist him in his plans to ensure success. I happened to be close by on one of my many private islands and went with the men to see if I may of service to my close business associate. He had done so much for me I was prepared to return the favor. I arrived with my men but when I arrived I saw Ernesto in a cage with Hope Brady. I then saw the cage explode but I noticed that both Hope and Ernesto escaped via a secret exit near the back of the cage. Of course, everyone knows Greta von Amburg was Hope's double in the cage and was substituted for her and ended up burned and scarred for years as a result.

    Stefano: You all already learned that I found Hope and took care of her at Maison Blanche for years but I did the very same for Ernesto. I found him and too care of his recovery, which was difficult. While Hope recovered fast, Ernesto was in a coma for years and never came out of it. I made arrangments for him in a private, secluded 24 hour care facility where no one would know he was still alive or where he was. At this time, I was dealing with my own health concerns and again, as you all know, I returned to Salem to see my daughter Kristen and to recover from my illness. The times that I was presumed dead after that point, I would take those opportunities to check on Ernesto. By 1996, he had come out of the coma but he was consumed with hatred for what happened to him. He hated his previous enemies more and now had reason to hate others that he felt played a part in his accident.
    Ernesto: Stefano's right. I woke up paralysed due to nerve damage. It wasn't until 1998 that I started to walk again and then I suffered a stroke as a result of complications from a surgery I had after the explosion. I never fully recovered from that until 2001. I was and still am consumed with hate for my enemies. Victor, I have and always will despise you. Bo Brady, you double crossed me on the Loretta and you!! Hope!!! You came out of that explosion and wre just fine in a matter of months. You were up and doing Stefano's bidding as Gina while I was held up in a hospital bed in a coma for years. If it was never for you and Julie over there being nosy, I would have never had the idea to put you in the cage and would never have been in that explosion.
    Hope: You can't seriously blame me for something you did.
    Ernesto: I can and will no matter what you think. Oh, and Jack and Jennifer. Salem's very own ace reporters. You two busybodies got involved in my business and caused chaos aboard the Loretta. I still have a vendetta with you too. Oh, and Ro..I mean John. You messed with my plans too and aided in turning Isabella against me.
    John: You did that yourself by turning you back on her and trying to kill her.
    Ernesto: NO!!! I loved her and still loved her as my daughter. You had already poisoned her mind against me. She was lost. She had become Victor's daughter and I would not accept that so I had to rid myself of her. Had she never been so close to you, she still would've loved me like her father. You poisoned her mind against me just like Victor poisoned Loretta's mind. All of you!! All of you that have destroyed my life will feel my wrath. Your precious loved ones will feel my wrath. I will get my revenge.

    The crowd looks on and are horrified at Ernesto, who has a sinister and crazed look on his face as the screen fades out.

    4th Scene -Same room as the crowd wonders what they will be told next.

    Stefano: Is your tirade over so we can continue?
    Ernesto: No.
    Stefano: Well, it will have to be. Continuing on...when I left town in 2001 after being ran out of Salem by the police, I reconnected with Ernesto and saw he was fully recovered. He told me of his plan for revenge and that is what the Melaswen plot orginated. It was Ernesto's way of getting revenge and he thought it was ironic to use an island as that is where the most suffering in his life began with the explosion. He told me of his grand scheme to lure his enemies there and even make it appear as though they were dead. He would use drugs developed by Dr. Rolf and his secret organization and put them in the water supply. He would also have his employees plant suggestions in the minds of Salemites so they would have nightmares or beleive they were seeing the ghost of their loved ones. He also used holograms to make the ghostly visions of loved ones appear just like he made visions of himself appear on the island after the Loretta sank. The drugs in the water supply would even helped to make the "deaths" appear worse then they are and they really helped enhance the effects of the makeup. He told me of all this and that he needed my help and manpower. I agreed as long as some of my enemies could be added to his target list and that is when I provided an island for him to build into a replica Salem. I also requested that we use Marlena as a serial killer and then bring her the island herself. This way I could have her in my posession after destroying my enemies. I told Ernesto that we could program her to do our bidding. Ernesto was all for the idea since she was John's wife and he wanted revenge on him and knew this would tear him apart. From this point on, this is where the great Melaswen plot began to become a reality.

    The screen then fades out. Days of our Lives halfway theme plays.

    5th Scene -Same room. Stefano contines to explain the past.

    Marlena: Wow Steffy I am impressed with all the planning. Not surprised you screwed around with me and my head again though.
    Stefano: Oh, Marlena. I wasn't the one that did and I will explain that right now. Now this is where the great traitor known as Wendell comes into play. After visiting with Ernesto and going though all the Melaswen plans, I knew I wanted to lay low as the ISA had people looking for me. My men, including Wendell who was one of my top lietenants, and I traveled the world to stay in hiding. I had trusted Wendell a great deal in the past. Shortly after leaving Ernesto, I developed a serious fever and hid my condition from everyone. Turns out I had contracted some sort of infection from one of the exotic locations we visited. WE continued to travel the world and my condition grew worse. I started to become delusional and began to ramble on about my life and everything I had done a great deal. At this point, Wendell got this brilliant idea in mind and began to take notes and memorized everything about my life he could and researched what he didn't learn. After 3 months of my rambling on combined with his research, Wendell feelt he was ready to take over my life and be one of the richest and most powerful men in the world. He realized, of course, the risk involved and knew he could be as good as dead if found out. One evening, I asked him to play chess (we now see a flashback to this) since it was a nightly ritual of theirs before retiring for the evening. Wendell was the only man other then John that I felt could challenge me in chess. I asked him to bring out my favorite wine. At the time, I had no clue he was slowly poisoning me via the wine, food, etc. This concoction was something he stole from Dr. Rolf and was slowly eating away at my brain. One night, Wendell came to check on me and beleived that I had died from the poison. Wendell now felt he could become me and could now do things that even I had not done. He even though he could destroy all my enemies. He had plastic surgery to give him the look he has now, the look you all thought to be that of Alex North's until a few weeks ago. He was concerned about people like Ernesto, Bart, and other close associates of mine knowing somehow he was not me so he decided that he should get rid of them. He targeted Ernesto first knowing he knew me so well that he may think something was up . He made an attempt on Ernesto's life but he survived. When Wendell tried to escape via a private plane, he felt as thought he was being followed and was right. Ernesto had several men chasing after him since he now knew that he was an imposter. Ernesto was out for his blood. When Wendell got in the plane, he instructed the pilot to take off and it did before Ernesto and his men got a hold of him.

    Stefano flashes back to that night while recounting the details.

    Pilot: Your destination, sir?
    Wendell: Europe. We're not too far from there. I'll make you a very wealthy man if you can get us there.
    Pilot: Thank you very much sir.
    Wendell: No thanks are necessary. How long have you been a pilot?
    Pilot: Most of my adult life, sir. My father insisted that I learn several things that may aid me in the future. He said you never know when you might have to flee the country.
    Wendell: (Laughing) That’s for sure. Your father sounded like a very wise man.
    Pilot: He was. He was one of the finest men I’ve ever known. He taught me every single thing that I know.
    Wendell: Oh. Like what?
    Pilot: Well, one thing for sure. Never let anyone thing that you don’t know what’s going on. Even people that you take into your closest confidence. They’ll use it against you when they feel the time is right.
    Wendell: True. And another?
    Pilot: Well, for second, always let one of your most trusted people think that you have died of some brain ailment after you had a severe fever. That way he will feel that he has taken over your life, and will try to steal everything that rightfully belongs to you.

    Stefano (voice over): Wendell just looked at me in horror realizing his plot had failed and that I, Stefano Dimera, had once again rose from the ashes.

    Pilot: And third........when the pilot of your plane is going to bail out on you, make sure there’s only one parachute.

    Wendell: Oh. My. God.

    Stefano DiMera: Close enough. (While holding a gun on him) Now, did you really think I would allow a lackey like you to kill The Phoenix? Ask the people of Salem, my boy. Nothing........NOTHING.......can destroy me. Now, I hate to cut this short, but I have a chess game waiting for me. Enjoy your trip.......(He opens the door and steps out onto the ledge)..........TO HELL!!!!!!

    Stefano: I then jumped out of the plane and opened my parachute, and safely floated down to the ocean. My people were following me in my private yacht. As I climbed on board, I thanked my other lieutenant, Yuri, and everyone else.

    Stefano: You all will have hefty, hefty bonuses in your checks. As for Wendell..........as the young folks say today........


    Those are the breaks! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    Flashback ends.

    Stefano: So Wendell's plane crashed and I beleived him to be dead. Little did I know that he would survive and come into contact with my nephew Andre. I always beleived Andre to be dead since he was in Tony's place when he "died" in Aremid but Andre used another former employee of mine to help him fake his death and get away. He promised the employee a share of his power once he took over the Dimera empire. He was angry with me for putting him in that situation to take Tony's place. He hated it and knew I was setting himself up for a fall. He knew I hated him so he wanted revenge and my empire. After Wendell's presumed demise, he partnered with Wendell to get rid of me and take over all the operations of the empire on thier own. I was on my way to meet with Tony, having heard he was in remission from his blood disease. We were going to discuss the Melaswen plans. Wendell and Andre tampered with my car causing it to crash. Tony found me and thought I had died in his arms. Little did he know that the EMT"s that arrived shortly after I stopped breathing were in Andre and Wendell's employ. They fooled Tony and he went back to Salem thinking I died in his arms. Andre and Wendell took care of everything to make sure everyone beleived I was dead and that Andre was dead in Aremid. I was shipped off to a secret lair and had fallen into a coma. Rather then kill me, they both wanted to torture me by keeping me captive like I have kept so many others. When I awoke out of a coma, I spent months in captivity and finally broke out and made my way here to the island. I remained in the shadows and was shocked to hear what I missed in my absence.

    The screen then fades to black.


    6th Scene -Stefano continues.

    Stefano: I learned that Andre and Wendell had convinced Ernesto and everyone else that he was indeed Stefano. Thinking Andre was Tony since Andre had convinced Ernesto that an imposter Tony was sent to Salem to run things so he could help his father plot the Melaswen scheme. Ernesto bought this because he beleived Andre died in Aremid and, thinking Andre was Tony now, he didn't think Tony would lie about Wendell being me. Wendell explained his appearance as a way of wishing ill upon the man that betrayed him. Ernesto was skeptical but bought this since Tony supported him by saying that Stefano was merely hoping Wendell would see this from hell and be tortured seeing Stefano look like he did after his surgery. The three went ahead with the first Melaswen plot as planned. The drugs were put in the water supply and it was all the begin at the fashion show. Wendell and Andre knew that Tony would stop them and that he could catch them so, during that time Tony was missing at the hospital, Andre switched places with him and acted as Tony from that point on. Andre was also the person who attacked Bo and Hope. He wanted to make Rex do it to get back at Tony and knew Rex was having mysterious headaches and that he would convince himself that he attacked Bo and Hope so Andre made sure Rex had blood on him to make it look like he did it. It was all Ernesto's idea to attack Bo and Hope since he wanted his revenge on them. His plan was to drug them and "kill" them in the hospital to bring them to the island but they never could get in there since their injuries were so severe. Ernesto did not want them severely injured but Andre had gone too far. Ernesto backed off on Bo and Hope and he, Andre, and Wendell went after the rest of the list I had targeted. Abe was first and then they would just pick off whoever got close to the truth since they no longer wanted to abide by my list after that. Andre programmed Marlena with help from Ernesto and Andre was the one applying the makeup for the wounds. Tek and Patrick helped along the way too as they, having worked for me for years, were used by Andre and Wendell. Both of them never knew Ernesto was involved in the scheme going on in Salem. Victor being "killed" was Ernesto's idea. Ernesto discovered that there was a plot to kill Victor and took advantage of it to bring him to the island. Eventually, the island plot was destoyed when Jennifer, Hope, etc started making their way down to the island. Patrick and Tek growing to care for some of the Salemites ruined plans too as Patrick was the hero on the island and has been a hero quite a few times since then from what I hear. Anyway, Andre got on a power trip and now wanted to destroy the world. He was sick of being ordered around by Wendell and Ernesto so he locked both of them up and made them watch the chaos on Melaswen as their plot was being ruined. He came up with the idea of a fake Stefano skeleton to scare Wendell and the me, since both of us could see everything going on. This is when Andre ran the show and came up with the Stan scheme, trapping everyone in the castle and manipulating their lives as well as the lives of people in Salem, and the Philip scheme in Iraq. He just loved torturing Ernesto by showing him that he had Philip trapped knowing full well Ernesto would love to have Philip in captivity as a way of getting back at Victor. Andre loved being in control of the Dimera empire but Wendell and Ernesto got out eventually. Andre was afraid for his life so he made a deal with them to share the power of the empire with them. They then decided to plot another Melaswen plot since the first failed only Ernesto took full control of this one. Wendell went to Salem as Alex North and began brainwashing Marlena to use her to "kill" people again. The brainwashing, though, has now backfired and you see the result despite the fact that Marlena did serve the purpose intended by Wendell, Ernesto, and Andre.
    Marlena: Yeah,well I am in control now and I' m not doing nothing for no one. I simply want my revenge.
    Stefano: Please Marlena, et me finish. So that is how this second plot began as the drugs never stopped being dropped into the water supply as Andre always thought it would come in handy. They faked all these deaths yet again only this time they nearly "killed" everyone in Salem and they lured you all here and there you have it. The truth behind everything I am sure you all wanted to know.
    Ernesto: Stefano explained it all just the way it happened. Too bad there had to be a double cross.
    Wendell: Yeah, well I nearly got a way with it.
    Andre: I knew you would never get away it. Me and the other hand...
    Stefano: Neither of you were going to get away with it and you know that. Now you will face the consequences of your actions.
    Wendell: Not before I make you pay for ruining all my plans.

    Stefano looks on confused as the screen fades to black.

    7th Scene: The crowd wonders what is in store for them now as things are getting tense between Wendell and Stefano.

    Stefano: Just how do you plan to make me pay? You are nothing but a mere lackey. Always have been, always will be. You would not have made it this far without Andre and an unknowing Ernesto by your side.
    Wendell: Oh, trust me. I know the perfect way to get back at you. See, Andre and I have all your secret files on this very island. We simply wanted them here so they were handy in case we needed them.
    Stefano: As unnerving as that is, what are you getting at?
    Wendell: (looking at Sami) Let's just say I know for a fact someone took a gander at your collection of secrets and now has proof of one of your many bombshells you have kept hidden. Care to elaborate Samantha?

    Sami turns around and looks at Wendell as the whole crowd turns and looks at her.

    Sami: I am not sure what you are talk...
    Wendell: Oh come on. What do you have under your jacket? You have never been shy before so don't be now. Come on out with it.
    John: Samantha, you said you had something to tell me earlier-is this it?
    Roman: Yeah,she told me she wanted to talk too. What are you hiding underneath your jacket Sami? Is that wanted to talk to me about?
    John: And me too. Something was bothering you earlier so what did you want to tell your dad and I? Did you find out something that could help us bring down the Dimera's? Is that what Wendell is talking about?

    The crowd looks at Sami, as does Stefano, Wendell, Andre, Marlena, and Ernesto. Sami takes the file out.

    Sami: I guess there is no way out. I didn't want to do it this way but...I guess I have to tell you...I have to tell you what I found.

    The camera pans around to everyone in the crowd, including Roman and John. Stefano looks at Sami trying to intimidate her into staying quiet while Wendell stares at her trying to encourage her to spill everything. The screen fades out on a confused Sami as the credits roll.

    -Caroline thinks about the secret her and Victor are keeping. Victor comes over to her to ask if she is alright. She reminds Victor of the pain their secret would cause and it must be kept a secret-no one can ever find out they made love in the castle while imprisoned by Tony. If they do, it could destroy their families and could even kill Shawn Sr. Victor says he vowed to keep her secret and will but, if there is anything to be learned from the secret of Claire's paternity, these things always come out. Shawn Sr sees Victor and Caroline together and reminds himself to stay calm since they are only friends.
    -Abby asks Jack if her mother has really chosen him over Frankie. Jack decides to be honest with her and says that Jennifer has not made a choice yet. An upset Abby lashes out at her mother and Frankie saying her father belongs with her mother. Max gets involved and reminds Abby not to get involved. Abby tells Max to stay out of it, which causes some tension between them. Chelsea sees this and is happy. Max takes Abby aside and begs her to let Frankie, Jennifer, and Jack figure this out. Max does not want this to affect his friendship with Abby. Abby agrees and apologizes. Chelsea is jealous when she sees Abby and Max embrace. Alice, Mickey, Doug, Julie, and Maggie see this and wonder how Jennifer will ever choose since choosing Frankie could push her daughter away and choosing Jack will hurt Frankie deeply and either way could cause a rift between Abby and Max's friendship. Julie says she feels like more is developing between Abby and Max. Maggie agrees-they remind her of Jennifer and Frankie when they were younger. Chelsea overhears and is not pleased.
    -Roman is worried about Carrie, as are Austin and Lucas. Abe says with the force field down the can search for her but they need to plan an escape first and take out whoever is in charge of all this. Shane, Bo, Hope, Billie, and John agree. Celeste feels that not everyone will make it off the island alive and, those that do, will have their lives changed forever. This worries everyone.
    -Nicole remembers Celeste's premonition concerning Eric and she decides to tell him about. Eric shrugs it off but Nicole reminds him that Celeste has always been right. Eric says that she can be wrong too and walks away. Sami overhears and wonders if Celeste's prediction about Eric somehow ties in with what she learned in the file room. Nicole tells sami she is worried about Eric. Sami feels the same but says she has other things to be worried about.
    -Mimi asks Rex if there is still a chance for them. Rex says they can't discuss that matter here. There is alot to be resolved. He leaves to talk to Cassie. Cassie begs Rex to stay away from Mimi and not fall for her tricks again. Rex tells Cassie to back off-he is a big boy and knows what he is going. Mimi tells Bonnie if she loses Shawn she is hopeful that Rex and her will work things out. Bonnie is happy for her and they embrace. Cassie asks Kate what she would do if Rex reunited with Mimi. Kate says she wouldn't do anything because she feels Mimi is similar to her-that is a minor reason why she helped her keep Shawn although making Philip happy was the major reason. Kate tells Cassie to stay out of it-that is one couple she would not tamper with if they reunite unless she hurt him again. Cassie privately says that she will take a page out of her mother's book and break them up herself if they get together and Kate holds to what she said.
    -Belle asks Shawn if they will get back together now given what has happened. Shawn says it is the wrong place to talk about this as he needs to talk everything out with Mimi too. Belle is shocked that he would think about forgiving Mimi. Shawn says he won't forgive her but they do need to talk and he needs to think-as does she. They have alot to deal with before even considering a reunion, including Philip. He tells Belle there is no gurantee that they will reunite. Belle is stunned as Shawn says they will talk once things calm down-hopefully when they are off the island. Belle still hopes to be back with Shawn but is surprised at his hesitation. She thinks about Philip and how he will react to everything. She wonders where he is.
    -The guard looks at Ernesto, who shakes his head no in response to Philip's request for the guard to kill him. The guard then says no and says that the boss wants him alive. Philip hears Shawn and Belle talk about him and also hears Shawn say there is no gurantee of a reunion for them. This gives Philip hope as he sees how concerned about him Belle seems. Philip reminds himself that Belle is his wife and that he has the control here to stop Shawn from taking her from him. He plans to fight Shawn for Belle and to get revenge for the betrayal of his family and friends who kept secrets from him. Ernesto hates this as Philip has calmed down. He stops taping and tells the guard to have someone edit the tape and to only show Philip's intial reaction to the truth about Belle and Claire at the gathering later. Ernesto then gets a call from Stefano. Stefano tells him to meet him and Andre in the large room on the west side of the island control center. That is where they will have their "grand finale gala." Ernesto says he will be right there. He tells the guard to bring the tape and a monitor to the room so Victor can see how hurt Philip was.
    -Mimi asks Shawn if they can talk. Shawn tells Mimi that he won't be talking about anything concerning the situation they are in until things calm down and they are off the island. Mimi agrees and hopes she can still have Shawn but now wonders if maybe she is meant to be with Rex and he was brought back now to be there for her and get back together with her.
    -Belle enters the room and overhears John telling everyone that they also need to find Marlena. Belle tells her father that she was with Marlena and that she nearly killed her. John is stunned but Rex bakcs up Belle and says that he came just in time to fluster Marlena enough to make her stop and run away. John wonders if the Marlena he knows and loves is gone.
    -Marlena overhears this and laughs that the "old" Marlena is gone and that the "new" Marlena will no longer let anyone or anything control her. She is very pleased with all the chaos from the reveal of Claire's paternity and everything else. "I love taking pleasure in their pain...in their deserving, well-overdue pain," she says as she laughs with approval. Marlena then sees guards coming and takes off.
    -The guards then bust in to the faux Brady Pub and order everyone to come with them. John asks what is going on. One of the guards says that they are going to a party. Maggie asks that Alice be left behind. The guard says a vehicle will take the elderly up to where they need to be. Alice, Maggie, Mickey, Caroline, Shawn Sr, Doug, and Julie all go with the guards onto a golf-cart like vehicle and they leave. The others are told to walk so they follow the guards out. Marlena sees this and decides to use this opportunity to make her presence known to everyone on the island, including Stefano. She will use this party as the beginning of her revenge plot. She follows the crowd and the guards.
    -All the islanders arrive in a large room that resembles a ball room, only it is very dark and dimly lit. The guard tells them all to move around the room, sit, etc just don't make any trouble. Two guards stay behind while the others leave. John discoversthey are locked in the room. The guards have guns ready just in case of trouble. John wonders why they were all asked to be there. The door opens up and Patrick and Tek enter, followed by Bart and more guards. The corwd is stunned and horrified that Patrick and Tek are working for the enemy. Tek confesses that all the information Shane discovered on him is true-that is what Stefano has on him. Patrick says he started working for Stefano because of his past but he can't go into detail. Shane says they will still find out the truth. Patrick says that he may be dad by then so it won't matter-he just doesn't want anyone to learn the truth about him now and hate him. He has grown to care for too many (he then looks at Jennifer, Hope, Billie, Bonnie, and Mimi). Bart tells Patrick and Tek to shut up and sit down.
    -The crowd is stunned when Lexie comes in. Lexie runs over to Tek and slaps him. She can't beleive he was working for her father. He tells Lexie that he was hired to break Abe and her up. Abe asks what is going on but before they can get into it, Stefano enters. Everyone is stunned but not surprised he is alive and behind it all.

    Stefano: Oh, come now. Surely you don't believe I pulled this off on my own.
    John: Well, we know Patrick and Tek work for you and you have Bart.
    Stefano: Oh, John. You know that imbilsils like that don't count. Let me introduce you to one of my co-conspirators. Come on in my dear nephew.

    Andre then walks into the room as everyone believes he is Tony.

    Stefano: Naturally, you all beleive that this is my son, Tony. However, I must inform you that this man is not Tony. In fact, you have not been in the presence of the real Count Tony Dimera since the day of the Basic Black fashion show. Yep, you guessed it my friends. When Tony's comotose body mysteriously disappeared, we pulled off a switch. The real Tony is hidden somewhere being treated for his blood disease, which has returned. I do wonder what happened to him-haven't heard from him in awhile. Perhaps he succumbed to that menacing disease. No matter-you now know one part of the big puzzle but we don't want to reveal it all quite yet do we? No-we want to have everyone in attendance first.
    John: You are sick.
    Stefano: Oh, John. Let's try not to be negative since this is a party. Now, moving on, I would like to bring out my partner and primary co-conspriator for this grand scheme and the first island scheme you all experiened a few years ago. Yes, you heard me. Tony, oh so sorry, I mean Andre was not the mastermind of the first island plot. I was very much in control at that time but more on that later. Without further adieu, I would like to introduce you to...Ernesto Toscano!!!

    The crowd is stunned. Victor looks Ernesto right in the eyes and the tension is clear. Shawn remembers him as the man who "killed" his mom. Julie, Jennifer, and Jack are stunned, as is John.

    John: Well, isn't this a blast from the past.
    Ernesto: Yes, John. You are truly a sight for sore eyes. Wow-very hard calling you John instead of Roman.
    Stefano: Oh, don't worry, that problem will soon correct itself (Stefano looks at Sami, who is worried about what may be coming next).
    Ernesto: Oh, and Victor. How good to see you? It is always nice to re-connect with old foes.
    Victor: Ernesto. I can tell time has not helped you get over the past.
    Ernesto: GET OVER THE PAST!!!! Forget what happened before the explosion but I was nearly killed.
    Stefano: Now wait my friend. I hate to interrupt but we must wait to share stories. I want them to learn everything in sequence so they can see how we cleverly masterminded this plot right under all their noses, including the ISA's (looks at Shane and John).
    -Ernesto: Why must we wait Stefano? We got so much to do and everyone is here. There is no one else we are waiting for.

    Voice from a distance: Oh yes, you are.

    Marlena then walks in stunning the crowd. John, Belle, and Sami try to run to her but she pulls out a gun and aims it at them and the crowd.

    Marlena: You are waiting for me. Now, now Johnny and co-don't come any closer or I may have to blow you to kingdom come!!!
    John: Doc...
    Marlena: Sshhh!! Steffy was talking so let's give him the floor. Go ahead Steffy.
    Stefano: Marlena, when did you get to the island?
    Marlena: Oh I have been here since Patty-cakes and Tekky over there got here. Your little cameras missed me because I laid low and was busy stalking my prey. Namely, all your little captives here and their merry band of rescuers. Oh, and that little explosion-all me. Sorry for the damages but chances are you won't be using the land anyway.
    Stefano: I can't beleive we did not detect you.
    Ernesto: Well, now everyone is here now so can we move on so I can make sure all my enemies know the hell I have been through.
    Marlena: Hey, you look familiar.
    John: It's Ernesto Toscano, Doc. He was behind the Loretta ship sinking and the trick that presumably killed Hope years ago.
    Marlena: Ah, I see. I have heard so much about you.
    Ernesto: Likewise.
    Marlena: So, Steffy. How did you get tangled with Ernie here? You don't mind me calling you Ernie do you?
    Ernesto: Whatever...
    Stefano: Well, I will inform you of all that in due time.
    Ernesto: How about now? Everyone is here so let's get this show on the road.

    Voice from a distance (laughing): Not everyone is here, my friend.

    Greta then walks in held at gunpoint by a man that looks exactly like the way Stefano used to look (played by Joe Mascolo). The crowd is stunned.

    John: What the hell?
    Marlena: This is insane.
    Lexie: Father, what is going on?
    Ernesto: Seems like another double cross to me.
    John: Greta...what is going ...
    Greta: I was in the catacombs when I opened a secret door and out he came. He pulled a gun on me and told me to just come with him.
    Man (Joe Mascolo): I couldn't just miss a party, especially one that requires my attendance at it to set the record straight...to tell everyone that I am the real STEFANO DIMERA and that this man you have been calling Stefano since it was revealed he was not Alex North is nothing more then a fraud.

    The crowd is stunned as the two Stefanos face off as the screen fades to black and the credits roll.

    -The crowd at the pub awaits what Mimi is about to say about Claire. Meanwhile, Philip watches on a monitor everything that is going on as a gleeful Ernesto prepares to tape his reaction to show to Victor.
    -Everyone in the crowd wonders what is going on. Victor and Kate know and Philip sees them huddled in the corner talking and wonders if they may know what this is about.

    Belle: What could you possibly tell us about Claire? You haven't even seen her since Shawn and you have been stuck on this island with everyone else. Mimi, what is going on?!!
    Shawn: Babe, what is wrong? You look pale and worried about something. Just tell us what you want to say.
    Mimi: Well, I have been trying to but I always seem to get interupted. I have known this for awhile-since a few weeks before our wedding. It was around the time of my mother's "heart attack."
    Bonnie:...which was a fake.
    Shawn: What?
    Caroline: Now Bonnie I was there. Your heart attack seemed very real.
    Bonnie: Well, it wasn't. The secret Mimi wants to confess to you all I learned first from someone else. I knew she wanted to tell you Shawn and I didn't want my daughter to lose you. She had already lost Rex because I pushed her to have an abortion and I have always pushed my children to go after the brass ring. I just wanted better for them and marrying you would get us Lockharts into the Horton/Brady/Kiriakis fold. After my accident earlier with the force field, I realized that pushing my children to do things for wealth and power is wrong. I have steered them down the wrong path, the same path I am on and have been on. I just hope to change that now for my kids and me-that is why Mimi is going to tell you the truth now. She should have always told the truth but I am to blame. I am to blame for the abortion and and all the lies she committed so if you want to blame someone please don't take all this out on my little girl once she tells you everything. Please!!
    Shawn: So, you faked a heart attack knowing we would push up our wedding and this would make sure Mimi and I got married before this secret you learned and told Mimi to keep came out?
    Bonnie: Yes-that is what happened.
    Shawn: What could possibly be so big that it would cause you to worry about me leaving Mimi so much that you faked a heart attack to push the wedding along?
    Bonnie: Honey, I think you should tell him.
    Mimi: Shawn. Belle. Do you remember that night you were in a car accident during a snowstorm?
    Belle: Yeah, Shawn rescued me but we were both wet from the river so he took me to a barn and we used our body heat to stay warm and to survive. We were both delerious from hypothermia.
    Shawn: Right. What about it?
    Mimi: Well, something else happened that neither of you remember. The EMT's found you naked and in each other's arms. Don't you both remember how you both said when you woke up at the hospital that you had a dream about making love?
    Belle: Yeah...
    Shawn: Mimi, where is this going?
    Mimi: It wasn't a dream.
    Shawn: What?
    Belle: Where are you getting th...
    Mimi: Trust me it wasn't a dream and Claire is proof of that. She is your daughter Shawn, not Philip's.

    -Everyone in the room is stunned. Philip looks on in shock and remembers that night and says to himself how it makes so much sense now. He knew something more happened that night.
    -Victor tells Kate that they need to confess their role in this too. Kate doesn't want Philip to know they were involved in covering it up. Victor says Mimi and Bonnie can't take all the blame-they both knew and hid the truth and now they need to deal with the consequences of their actions.

    Belle: Mimi how do you know this?
    Shawn: I want to know that myself. I mean, how are you positive that Claire is my daughter?

    Mimi looks at Kate. Victor nods his head and Mimi reads his lips, which she takes as approval to rat out Kate. Kate looks on in horror.

    Mimi: Kate found out when Claire was brought into the hospital on Thanksgiving night. She saw some test results and went to the records room and learned the truth.
    Victor: I caught Kate myself in the records room trying to change the records to protect Philip. Luckily, I was able to change them back before they cost Claire or Shawn their lives. I apologize for my role in this. Kate convinced me that it was right to withold the truth as too many, including Philip who loves that little girl, would have been hurt. Belle, Philip, Mimi, and Shawn have been through so much-I guess I just was weak and let her convince me so I apologize. (Victor looks at Caroline) I did the same thing I was outraged at you for-I kept Claire's real father away from her, I suppose now I understand somewhat why you did what you did with Bo.
    Caroline: Victor, I think we can all understand your reasons for doing this. They weren't right but they are understandable and I am no one to judge given my past but Kate-you took things way too far. Altering hospital records-someone could have died because of that.
    Kate: I did what I had to do to protect my son.
    Austin: Mom you went too far this time.
    Lucas: And as usual you ended up hurting more people in the end and Philip will be hurt most of all.
    Billie: Yes and Philip would've been hurt a lot less had he been told sooner. Now he has bonded with a child that is not his and he will now have to let her go. Are you proud of yourself?
    Kate: Why is everyone blaming this on me? Victor, Bonnie, and Mimi all knew the truth too and withheld it.
    Roman: We know that Kate but you broke the law and just got lucky Victor covered for you. Had you not changed those records back, I would have to bring charges up.
    Hope: You should. This woman messed with my family when she hired Franco years ago to break Bo and I up and now she has again by keeping my son away from his daughter. You bitch!!

    Hope slaps Kate.

    Kate: Your a mother, Hope, You would have done the same.
    Hope: When are you going to get it Kate? You take a mother's love way too far. You try to make their lives for them rather then let them live their own lives and let things fall into place. You almost play god with their lives.
    Kate: I won't sit here and take all this blame when Bonnie and Mimi are standing right over there and are just as responsible.
    Bonnie: Kate's right. However, Kate and I pushed Mimi and manipulated her into telling the truth.
    Kate: Ugh-oh so we are going to let the same woman who aborted my grandchild off the hook? Oh real nice that sounds fair.
    Sami: Shutup Kate!! You helped organized a whole freakin massacre at Greta's coronation with Vincent Moroni so you aren't one to talk.
    Kate: Either are you Sami-woman of a thousand weddings.
    Mimi: Shawn, I just want you to know that I am sorry. I wanted to tell you so many ti...
    Shawn: Then why didn't you? All those times you wanted to tell me something...all those times you got emotional...it was all about this wasn't it?

    Shawn: She still didn't have to listen to you or Kate. You have always been like that-giving in to peer pressure. Ever since high school-you know something is wrong yet you always do it and never own up to it until the going gets tough or you are worried about the consequences.
    Mimi: I know. I am sorry Shawn. Between my mother, Kate, already losing so much in my life...I...and then there was Philip. Chloe already hurt him and he lost his leg and I just didn't want him to lose Claire and Belle too.
    Belle: Oh, yes noble Mimi. You know you only did this for yourself and chose to do it on your own. Bonnie and Kate didn't need to convince you because you still would've done the same thing on your own.

    Mimi: Well, your the one who gave me a reason to do this. After all, you still wanted Shawn. You wanted Shawn while Philip was overseas, you wanted Shawn while Philip was suffering after losing his leg, you wanted Shawn when we first became a couple, and you even wanted Shawn the night before my wedding when you tried to convince him not to marry you. You broke his heart Belle and the minute he is moving on and has finally dedicated himself to making a new life for himself you just come swooping back in. The problem is you wanted Shawn but felt sorry for Philip and then you fell for him over time. Only problem is you loved Shawn more and still do and you did everything you could to stop him from marrying me. If it weren't for Kate manipulating you, you would have stopped my wedding.

    The crowd looks at Kate.

    Kate: Yeah, I know. You all want to tar and feather me in a public square. Ugh..
    Mimi: Shawn..I know I was wrong but Belle gave me reason to worry. I mean, the minute you and me started dating she just wouldn't leave you alone. She couldn't stand anyone else-let alone her so-called best friend-being with you but her. Are you happy Belle? How does it make you feel to have strung a great guy like Philip along? To have gone overseas and fight a war and lose his leg all while you are playing house with Shawn just waiting to jump his bones..
    Belle: You bitch! (Belle slaps her)
    Mimi: No you bitch. You always have to have what you want. Princess Belle can never be wrong. You took advantage of Philip. You hurt both of them. Your lack of belief in Shawn started all this. You never believed he loved you and that is why you broke up and then you constantly choose Philip over him and then come running back to him when he is with me. What I did was wrong but what you did was sick. Post Partum Depression-what a joke. You were just depressed because Shawn was with me and you were tied down with Philip thinking you had a child with him.
    Belle: How dare you try to turn this on me..
    Kate: Well, she is right Belle. I mean, how many times did I catch you with Shawn while Philip was fighting overseas? How many times were you prepared to choose Shawn over Philip?
    Belle: You kept pushing me. You made me feel guilty about leaving Philip. You manipulated the situation.
    Mimi: The same thing she did to me.
    Bonnie: That's right.

    Philip looks on from the monitor. Tears streaming down his face, he begins to shake with anger and lash out about how his mother, father, wife, and best friends could do this to him. Ernesto watches Philip very pleased.

    Marlena watches the goings on in the pub from outside. She doesn't react to any of it but is very happy about all the suffering. "Nothing like a little pain and torture before dying," she says.

    Sami watches all this and it further convinces her to tell everyone about what she found. She decides to wait until things calm down.

    Kate: Oh please can we stop blaming me for manipulating people.
    Sami: We will when you stop.
    Kate:Oh really-so when are you going to stop?
    Sami: Haha-bitch.

    Belle: I can't beleive you would do this to Claire, Shawn, Philip, and me. I was your best friend. You said you loved Shawn and Philip was your friend. We have always been close-all four of us. Claire is your goddaughter!!! (Belle begins to cry as John and Sami come over to comfort her)
    Mimi: I care about all four of you. People make mistakes. You made one when you caused the truth about my abortion to come out.
    Belle: Mimi-that was your fault. You should have told Rex well before and trusted in his love.
    Rex: I agree.
    Cassie: So do I.
    Mimi: I know that was my fault but...why don't you admit responsibility for what you did to Philip and to Shawn?
    Belle: I know I was wrong for not trusting in Shawn's love and marrying Philip. I know I was wrong to lead him on and do so much behind his back but what you did to me...to all of us is unforgivable.
    Mimi: You know what...I don't care what you think right now. I only care about Shawn. Shawn..honey...talk to me. Please.
    Shawn: It was all a lie-our whole marriage was based on a lie. I thought you learned from your mistakes. You were there for me when no one else was after I lost Belle. I was in love with you. I can't look at you now and not hate you. Hate for what you did to me, to Belle, to Philip. You kept me from my child. Many mistakes were made by others here but you had a choice. You chose wrong.

    Shawn begins to leave. Mimi grabs a hold of him.

    Mimi: NO!!! SHAWN!! NO!! DON'T LEAVE ME SHAWN!! PLEASE!! I AM SORRY!!! SO SORRY!!!
    Bonnie: Please Shawn. Don't do this. Please. It was my fault. Don't blame my little girl.
    Shawn: Give it up Bonnie. I have heard enough.

    Shawn pushes Mimi away and leaves the pub. Bo and Hope, Caroline, Shawn Sr, and Victor go outside to comfort him. Victor reminds Kate on his way out that he warned her this would happen. If Philip ever finds out, they may lose their son. Kate blames Victor for spilling everything she did. Victor tells her that her actions have consequences and to deal with it. Billie, Austin, and Lucas all look at her. So does Sami. John comes over to her and says that he has lost all respect for her and will never forgive her for manipulating his daughter's life. Roman also reminds Kate that he warned her to leave her kids alone and now she will have to pay the piper.

    John comforts Belle. Belle wonders what will happen if they find Phillip and he learns all this. John says he will be hurt, especially given all he has been through. She tells her father she has loved Shawn and always will and feels bad for the mistakes she made in the past regarding the men in her life. John says she will need to earn forgiveness and is sure she will. He and everyone else knows she is a good person and never meant to hurt anyone-she will find a way to make up for what she did. Belle promises to do so.

    Bonnie comforts Mimi. John, Bo, Hope, Caroline, Alice, Maggie, and Shawn Sr blast Mimi and Bonnie for their actions. They let them into their family and then they betray their trust. John, Bo, and Hope lash out at Mimi for messing with Claire, Belle, and Shawn's lives. Mimi runs away in tears with Bonnie behind her.

    John goes out to Shawn and asks what he intends to do now. Shawn says he will be a good father to Claire and doesn't know other than that. Bo, Hope, Alice, Caroline, and Shawn comfort him. Victor apologizes to him. Shawn says he thinks he can forgive him but right now he is just so angry. Victor understands. Shawn and everyone else say they understand Victor did it for his son and that his heart was in the right place. Shawn Sr is jealous when Caroline embraces Victor. Bo and Hope are excited they are grandparents. Shawn vows to be a good father. Belle comes out and says she knows he will be. Everyone leaves them alone to talk.

    Sami sees John walk in and wonders if now is the time to announce her findings. She then decides to wait a bit longer since everyone is still reeling from the Claire reveal.

    Jennifer sees how torn between Philip and Shawn Belle was and wonders how she will ever choose between Jack and Frankie without hurting one of them and ruining their life. Jack and Frankie promise to make things easy for her. Abby sees Jennifer, Frankie, and Jack talking and wonders if her mother has not chosen her father for sure yet. She tells Max if her mother chooses Frankie she doesn't know how she will react. Max hopes it doesn't ruin their relationship. Chelsea overhears and wonders what relationship they are talking about.

    Billie, Austin, and Lucas beg Kate to stay out of their lives from now on. Chelsea stuns them all when she stands up for Kate and defends her. She likes the fact that she has someone in her corner willing to do anything for her. Billie is disgusted and Kate is happy Chelsea is on her side. Billie warns Kate to stay out of Chelsea's life too. Chelsea tells Billie to let things be and let grandma Kate do what she wants.

    Mimi is comforted by Bonnie. She thanks her mother for trying to take the fall. Bonnie says she was just doing what any mother would do. Mimi says that Bonnie finally showed her how much she loves and cares about her. Bonnie says it felt good to actually feel like a real mom for once by doing right by her daughter. Cassie gloats at seeing Mimi lose everything because of lies again. Mimi nearly attacks her. Rex tells Cassie to go away and leave Mimi alone. Rex asks Bonnie if he can have a minute with Mimi. Bonnie leaves her. Mimi looks at Rex. He hands her a wash cloth to dry her eyes and asks her why she didn't learn her lesson from what she did to their relationship. Mimi doesn't answer and finally tells Rex to back off if he is only going to lecture her. She knows he hates her so he should just leave her alone. Rex says he doesn't hate her and that he regrets leaving her back in Salem. He thinks if he stayed in Salem rather then leave, he may have forgiven her eventually. Mimi looks at Rex and asks if he still loves her and, if things are really over with Shawn, if there is still a chance for him and her?

    Belle comforts Shawn and both are stunned by this news. Belle asks Shawn where they will go from here.

    Shawn: I don't know.
    Belle: Well, Phillip will learn the truth when and if he is found so once that happens, what happens to us?

    Shawn looks at her and Belle looks at him.

    Belle: Obviously, there is still something left between you and me.
    Shawn: You know there is...and now we have a daughter.
    Belle: So...you are saying that once things get settled you want us to be together?

    Meanwhile, a vengeful Philip is watching all this as the monitor shows Belle and Shawn outside the faux pub. He is filled with rage and literally shaking all while his face is soaked with tears. A extremely happy Ernesto is watching and taping Philip.

    Philip: My wife never loved me. She never wanted me. My own parents betrayed me. My two best friends betrayed me. First, Chloe, then my leg, now all this. Claire...my little girl...she isn't mine. God...oh God. I have nothing. Nothing.

    Philip motions to the guard to come over to him.

    Guard: What?
    Philip: I need you to do something for me. I don't care what your orders are-I need you to put me out of my misery before I lose all my dignity. I need you to KILL ME...

    The screen the fades out on Philip's face as the credits roll.

    -The crowd brings an unconscious Cassie and an injured Frankie and Abby to the pub for medical treatment. Maggie runs into Mickey's arms and reunites with him and Alice. Hope reunites with them too. Bonnie is happy to see Mickey alive and embraces him. Maggie tells Mickey that Victor and her took good care of each other. Mickey thanks Victor for protecting Maggie. Caroline overhears and comments on how happy she is that they kept each other safe. Shawn Sr overhears and appears jealous over Caroline's concern for Victor.
    -Cassie comes to and Rex asks her what happened as the rest of the crowd at the Pub listens. Cassie explains that she got out of a secret shaft she was being held in that was underground. Rex tells everyone the story he told Belle about how Cassie and him got on the island. Cassie says she managed to break out of her shackes and make her way out but ended up in the catacombs underground. The earthquake caused a cave in and she was buried. She managed to find a way out but it was through an underwater exit. She got back to shore but was seen by guards so that is who she was trying to run away from and here she is. Kate, Austin, Billie, Lucas, Roman and Rex are happy she is safe, as are the rest of the Brady's and Belle.
    -John asks all the "deceased" how they got to the island. Caroline explains it was just like the last time-once they "died" they felt as though they were asleep. This time, though, most of them never ended up in a coffin as the deaths happened more quickly. Hope says that this all must be why Abe's coffin was empty. Abe says that all he remembers is confronting Stefano before he was about to board his escape boat and they argued. Stefano prepares to motor away but both of them heard someone cry out. It was Marlena and she just shot at both of them. Stefano and Abe ducked for cover but did get hit (hence the bullet wounds). Stefano then injected himself with something and then Abe and the next thing he knows he ended up on the island like he just woke up and Stefano and Marlena were gone.
    -Those that "died" in the plane explosion on Morgan Island (Bo, Billie, Kate, Roman, Austin, Lucas, Shawn, Mimi) say that prior to the explosion gas filled the room and knocked them out. The next thing they know they were on the island. Bo says he vaguely remembers them being carried off in a hurry as the plane exploded. Cassie says she heard "Tony" talk about a plane explosion and that they made a fake video and even put the bodies from a morgue in the plane to make it appear that those on the plane were really dead
    - Jennifer and Julie remember their car going off the cliff and being knocked out. Julie says she remembers being dragged out of the car so somebody must have just took them away and brought them there because her and Jen never felt drugged. Doug, Max, Abby, Frankie, Shawn Sr, and Mickey all remember someone coming in to their hospital rooms and injecting them with something. Soon after, they would have chest pains and just pass out and feel like they were asleep. This must be when they "died." Caroline and Alice both say that the poison used on them merely put them to sleep and they woke up on the island, just like the last island plot.
    -Jack says that he remembers smelling something through the exhaust of the car he crashed but thought nothing of it. Victor then explains to everyone the info John, Hope, and him discovered concerning the water supply being filled with mind altering drugs capable of creating hallucinations. This has been happening since the time of the fashion show in 2003 and is probably the reason why they saw "ghosts" of the "murder" victims during the first island plot and is also how the wounds and injuries on the "murder" victims appeared worse then they were. It helped "Tony" make his plan easier to buy and Victor also explains how the drugs in the water supply is the reason many of them were tortured with visions and nightmares about the Salem Serial killer period recently. The Dimera's, or whoever was responsible for the first island plot, wanted to torture all them before putting this sequel plan into action. Now that Jack knows his car was rigged by whoever is responsible for these island plots, he assumes a drug or gas was coming through his exhaust and that combined with the bad brakes caused him to crash and for him to "appear" dead. Victor agrees that something through the exhaust probably did it since the drugs in the water supply can be effective airborne. Jack just wonders how Greta was not affected but Jennifer says that Greta was knocked out for a little while and that the passenger side window was open so that prevetned the drug/gas from overwhelming her. Jack feels bad about the car crash at Frankie's wedding but Jennifer and everyone else both say it's fine and it wasn't his fault.
    -John explains his feelings, based on all the knowledge they have acquired so far, that the Dimera's are involved. John fills those in the dark in on Marlena, Tek, and Patrick's involvement. Everyone is stunned but figure Marlena needs help and is being brainwashed or finally snapped after everything she has been through. Everyone is also shocked about Tek and Patrick. Abe is stunned but Celeste knew he was up to no good. John says they need to act fast. Lexie and Greta are still missing and so is Carrie. They need to find Marlena and the person in charge of all this. John, Bo, and a good deal of the crowd gather around to talk about the island and what they know about it.
    -Stefano is told by one of told by one if his employees that Lexie will be fine. She should come to very soon. Stefano and Andre watch those at the faux Brady Pub converse about what they know about the island plot. Stefano also catches a glimpse of Mimi and Bonnie saying they want to confess. Ernesto walks in and sees it too. He wants Philip to watch the confession should the truth about Claire come out. Anything that would hurt or torture Philip would do the same to Victor so he want's Philip to have access to seeing what transpires. Stefano agrees and says while he hates Victor, getting revenge on Victor right now is Ernesto's think she he tells Ernesto to make the arrangements so Phillip can view what is going to happen if that will make him happy. Ernesto leaves very pleased and can't wait to see Philip's life destroyed. He hopes to tape Philip's reaction if the truth comes out and show it to Victor at the gathering with all their guests later. He leaves to make the plans.
    -Marlena spies on those at the Pub and is disappointed more did not get hurt from her explosion. She does not react when she hears how many of them still love and care for her. She plots revenge on all of them and says that none of them are leaving the island alive-this goes for the Dimera's as well.
    -Sami keeps thinking about the info she found and wonders if she is doing wrong by hiding what she may have discovered. She decides that she should tell everyone what she found regardless of whether it is true or not since it could change all their lives, if true.
    -Mimi is still hesistant about telling the truth but Bonnie pushes her so Mimi goes over to Shawn. He is at the bar with Bo and several others planning their next move. Mimi tells Shawn she needs to talk to him now. He tells her they can talk once things settle down-he needs to be in on this since they made need his help making plans. Mimi gets frustrated after Shawn refuses to talk right now and doesn't understand Mimi's urgency. A frustrated and impatient Mimi finally yells out, "Shawn!!!" This stops Sami from getting everyone's attention and telling them what she knows as everyone is focused on Mimi.

    Mimi: Shawn, there is something you should know. In fact, this affects you to Belle and many of the rest of you here. I have wanted to do this for a long time but things just kept happening. It is no excuse but I need to tell you now or I will never find peace and so will none of us involved.

    Shawn: Babe, what is going on? What is so urgent?
    Belle: Yeah Mimi, what is going on?

    Victor and Kate both look at Mimi and Bonnie and realize what is about to happen. Kate tells Victor she is about to destroy our son's life-she is about to destroy all their lives. Victor was unaware that Mimi and Bonnie knew and thinks it was wrong to keep it hidden and for Mimi to have married Shawn knowing the truth. Victor says this needs to come out-he only wishes his son was here for it. Kate says maybe it's a good thing he's not-let's just hope he isn't dead although this could kill him.

    -Philip is in a secret dungeon chained to a wall. A TV monitor is wheeled in by a guard. Philip asks what is going on. The guard just tells him to watch. The screen comes on and Philip sees everyone at the Pub. He wonders what is going on and what Mimi is about to say. Meanwhile, a camera is peering through a small hole in the wall of the dungeon as Ernesto has someone operating it saying that Philip will be destoyed after learning the truth and so will Victor when he sees his beloved son in agonizing heartache and pain.

    Back to the pub:

    Mimi: Shawn, Belle, and many of you will have your lives changed because of this but it is past time you know.
    Shawn: Know what?
    Belle: Mimi just tell us!!!
    Mimi: The truth...the truth about Claire.

    Belle and Shawn and everyone else in the room look around stunned as the screen fades out on Mimi watching the reactions of everyone in the room and the credits roll.

    -Chelsea tries to pull Hope up as the earthquake continues. She manages to save her with Shane's help as the earthquake stops. Hope thanks Chelsea for saving her. Chelsea just says she was returning the favor.
    -Maggie wakes up in Victor's arms and asks what happened. Victor says that Maggie pushed him out of the way of the tree and saved his life. Maggie says he saved her life and now she saved his-they are even.
    -Eric, Nicole, and Celeste are ok. Eric gets another headache, which alarms Nicole. Eric again shrugs it off as Nicole continues to worry. Celeste fears that more danger lies ahead but also feels as though they are all about to all experience great joy.
    -Belle and Rex get up and are both ok. They see Hope, Shane, and the others and meet with them. Belle thanks Rex for saving her. Shane says they need to find Bonnie, John, Lexie, Sami, and Greta and make sure they aren't hurt from the quake. They race off to search.
    -John manages to unbury Sami and tries to wake her. Sami wakes up and asks what happened. John says that she saved his life and could've been killed herself. Sami says she had to save his life. John is confused and cites his and Sami's history. He also remembers how Sami wanted to tell him something and also how she said something when she ran over to him and saved him. Sami is about to tell him but then Hope, Shane, and the others arrive and are calling out. John tells them where they are and both Shane and John dig through the cave rubble and manage to create a hole to get him and Sami out of the cave. John and Sami get out and join the others. John asks Sami about what she said before saving him and Sami says she was simply calling out to him to look out and what she had to tell him can wait. They all begin to move along in hopes of finding Lexie, Greta, and Bonnie. Sami decides that she can't tell John in front of everyone-not until she is sure that there is some truth to all this.
    -Bo, Billie, Abe, Roman, Austin, Lucas, and Shawn all assist Jack and Max in getting the fallen debris off of Frankie and Abby as Jennifer, Caroline, Shawn Sr, Doug, Julie, Kate, and Mimi look on. Bonnie realizes that the earthquake caused the force field to go down so she can now cross over. She embraces Mimi. She tells Mimi as soon as things settle down they need to tell Shawn the truth. That earthquake was another sign that they need to do this before it is too late for their lives both on earth and in the afterlife. Jack begs them both to live and thanks Frankie and Abby for saving him. Thankfully, Abby comes too and Frankie as well a short while after. Jennifer is thankful too, as is Max. He tells Abby there was no way he could lose her now. Jack thanks them both again and they both insist they couldn't let Jack die. Frankie has an arm injury so Bo tells everyone they should get back to the Pub to check on Mickey and Alice and also to tend to Frankie and Abby. Mimi tries to tell Shawn the truth but Shawn tells Mimi they should follow the others as now with the force field down they can plan an escape. Bo stops and finally notes Bonnie's presence. He asks Bonnie how she got to the island. Bonnie says she is not alone. This gets everyone else's attention as they all turn around. Bo asks who came with her. Just then, Hope, Shane, Sami, John, Belle, Rex, Eric, Nicole, Celeste, and Chelsea all appear and see their deceased loved ones alive and well.
    -Hope runs into Bo's and Shawn's arms. Chelsea jumps into Billie's and Kate's and also hugs Austin and Lucas too. Bo embraces his daughter as well. Chelsea sees Max and Abby. Chelsea and Abby hug and, after hesitation so does Max and Chelsea. They decide to catch up later as they want to reunite with their loved ones. Lucas and Austin reunite with Sami and embrace. Lucas asks if Sami missed him. Sami says losing them both was like hell on earth. They tell her Carrie is alive but missing. Sami also reunites with Shawn Sr and Caroline, who also share reunions with Eric and Hope. Hope embraces her father and Julie. Julie and Doug are also happy to see Maggie. They tell her that Mickey and Alice are alive too. Shane reunites with Abe, Bo, Billie, Roman, Caroline, and Shawn Sr. Celeste embraces Abe and realizes this was the great joy she predicted. Eric notes to everyone how Celeste's vision of everyone alive was right. Celeste tells Abe that Lexie is on the island too but is missing. Abe is worried. Bo shares a reunion with Victor. Victor also reunites with Austin, Lucas, and Kate. Jennifer, Jack, and Frankie reunite with Maggie, Hope, and Shane. Rex embraces Roman, Kate, Billie, Austin, and Lucas. He is happy to meet Austin for the first time. Rex sees Mimi and embraces her and asks how she is doing. She says better considering everything going on. Rex and Mimi agree to catch up later. Belle and Shawn reunite and she is happy to see him as he is her. Mimi realizes how hard this is going to be to tell the truth with Belle and everyone else there. Bonnie says they need to do it. Sami goes to hug Roman and, remembering the info she found, she hesistates. Roman asks her what is wrong. Sami hugs him and says nothing and that they need to talk about something later.
    -Stefano wakes up and unburies an unconcious Lexie. He picks her up and carries her away. He manages to make it to a secret passageway in the catacombs that takes them up to the control center. Andre is waiting for him. Stefano asks what happened. Andre says that someone set off explosives near the center of the island causing an earthquake. Stefano orders him to send a team out to find out who. He asks if Patrick and Tek are still with Ernesto. Andre says they are. Stefano tells Andre to keep them there-the finale party for all their guests is fast approaching. Andre leaves. Stefano lays Lexie down in a secret bedroom in the control center. He orders a island guard to get him someone to tend to his daugther. He begs his precious Alexandra not to leave him.
    -Greta manages to get unburied from the rubble herself. She looks around and realizes that the area around her has collapsed and she is now trapped in the catacombs. She is depressed realizing she may die down there and never tell her father that she is his daughter and she may never know for sure if the info she found in the secret room is true. It could change everything for her but she will never know. She leans on the wall and discovers something odd about the wall. She pulls up on a boulder and the door flings open. Greta looks inside and a man steps out of the door in front of her. Greta looks at the man stunned as the man pulls a gun on her.
    -While the reunions are going on, Bonnie and Mimi hear a noise in the bushes and call out to Shawn and Bo that someone may be watching them. Bo goes over to check it out and a disheveled and soaked CASSIE BRADY walks out and collapses in Bo's arms as she murmurs, "They're coming...get away." Rex, Kate, and Roman come running over and the screen fades out on Cassie's unconscious face as the credits roll.

    -Jennifer is still confused over Jack and Frankie. She doesn't know he can she can break either one of their hearts. Meanwhile, both Jack and Frankie consider letting Jen go to be with the other man. Jennifer overhears and informs the both of them this is up to her. She needs to choose and one of them just can't pull out. There is too much at risk for all of them. She is just so confused as she loves both of them. Alice, Doug, Julie, Caroline. Shawn Sr, and Mickey watch Jennifer and wonder how she will ever choose.
    -Abby and Max sit together and wonder if they will ever get off the island. Max says he can think of worse things then being stranded with Abby. Max goes to get them drinks and, while away, he can help noticing how close he is getting to Abby. He wonders where it could go and what Chelsea would think about it. While alone, Abby wonders the same and wonders if getting close to Max is right. She remembers what Chelsea did to him and says it's Chelsea's loss and her gain if something should happen. Max remembers how Chelsea hurt him and went MIA before everything happened and he decides if she gave up on them being an item so will he.
    -Bo, Billie, Roman, Abe, Austin, Lucas, and Kate all talk about observations they have noted on the island. They need to figure out a way through the force field and a way to the control room of the island. They should be able to find something there to aid in an escape attempt. Austin and Lucas are worried about Carrie and plan to look for her first thing after busting through the force field. Roman agrees. Shawn then walks by and asks of anyone has seen Mimi. She went for a walk and never came back. They offer to help him find her and they all take off as Mickey stays back with Alice. Jennifer, Abby, Max, Jack, and Frankie join the search too.
    -Mimi is shocked that Bonnie wants her to confess all. She tells Mimi that she just had the hell scared out of her and she doesn't want to go to hell or she her kids go to hell. She wants them to live happy lives and she has steered them off course-she was wrong and now they need to right the wrongs they made. Mimi agrees and reminds her mother she has been telling her this. Bonnie says they need to find Patrick and steer his life in the right direction too before it's too late. Bonnie even admits she will quit smoking and drinking. She can't beleive what she has done and forced Mimi to do. She was a terrble mother but they will correct everything now. Mimi agrees and says that even if she loses Shawn at least she will have everything off her conscience. Mimi says they need to admit everything right away. Shawn and the search team arrive and he asks Mimi what she needs to tell him.
    -Belle is shocked to see Rex next to her. Rex says he made the noise in the bushes. He heard screaming so he was on his way to help so that was the noise she heard and the noice that drove Marlena away. Belle asks how he got on the island. He says that Cassie was kidnapped. Someone tried to copycat the SSK "murder" but the only problem was they failed. They tried to make it appear she was stabbed and stuff her in a pinata like her "death" three years ago while they were at their apartment in Chicago. Rex came home and caught the assailant who broke in. It was "Tony" (really Andre), who just escaped from prison. He had what looked like fake blood and a syringe in his arm so clearly it was another illusion or ruse to fake Cassie's death. Rex struggled with "Tony" and was knocked out. "Tony" still drugged Cassie but just ran off with her without faking her death yet again. Rex woke up in enough time to follow them to a private airstrip outside of the city. He secretly got on board the plane unseen. Once they landed, he could not get out right away or he would have been seen so "Tony" and Cassie got away but he knows they are there. Belle asks him if he knows about all the deaths. Rex is convinced they are all a fake too. Belle fills him on about Marlena and Rex thinks she is being controlled, as does Belle. Belle asks him if he got over Mimi and met someone. He says he didn't-he still loves her despite everything and seeing her marry Shawn made him realize that. He regrets letting her go and realizes that they could have still worked things out and he could have forgiven her but it's too late.
    -Marlena hides in the jungle. She will not let anyone get in her way, including her precious daughters. Anyone in her way will be stopped as she will get her revenge on all those on the island.
    -Lexie asks Stefano if he is behind the plot. He says he is responsible but also had help. He asks her to come with him and he will explain everything. Lexie refuses and she slaps her father. She asks him if he is responsible for Abe's death and the deaths of everyone else. Stefano says none of them are dead. Lexie is stunned. Stefano admits that the first island plot had him involved as well. Lexie asks him why he would do this and why he would put her through so much pain. Stefano says he will answer all that in detail later when he gathers everyone on the island together for a big finale party. Lexie asks him what he is planning but Stefano just asks her again to come with him. Lexie refuses and demands her father tell her everything now.
    -Greta is still in the file room searching around. She finds a file with her name on it and opens it. She reads through and is shocked by something she sees. Without saying anything, she folds the file up and takes it with her and leaves the room. She does not want to stay there long out of fear of getting caught and decides to tell the others about this place since it may contain vital info. She is stunned by the contents of the file and wonders if it is true and, if so, how it will affect herself and her father.
    -Hope, Chelsea, Maggie, Victor, Eric, Nicole, and Celeste got sick of waiting in the cave and are now off trying to look for Shane, Bonnie, Belle, Sami, Lexie, Greta, and John on their own. Celeste senses that great danger is upon them and that lives are being changed as they speak. They bump into Shane and he lays into them for leaving the safe confines of the cave. Hope says she was the only one that was going to leave but the others wanted to follow since they all agreed to work as a team. Shane hopes they can find the others and do what they came to the island to do.
    -John is with Sami in the cave and he asks her again if something is wrong. Thinking about the file she found, Sami wonders if it all could really be true and if John could be her father. She wonders if she should even tell him. John is confused and wants to know if Sami is ok. Sami has flashbacks of being a little girl and John, as Roman, raising her. She then has flashbacks of all the times she has lashed out at John telling hin she hates him. She wonders what will happen if the man she has hated for blowing her parent's marriage apart is actually her father. She starts to get overwhelmed with emotion and tells John to just stay out of her business and says they should just leave to find the others. John grabs her and demands to know what is wrong. He practically raised her and he has always known when something was wrong with her. He wants to know what it is.
    -Marlena tries to find a place to hide to lay low for a bit. She manages to find a store room full of supplies and explosives.

    Marlena: Yes this could work nicely. Why wait to destroy them? I mean, sure, it would be fun to torture them and toy with them first but I can wipe them all out right now by blowing this chunk of rock sky high. Of course, I would die too and that would be a waste-but not if I place these babies properly to ensure my safety and not theirs. Clever plan Marlena. Clever plan, indeed.

    Marlena then decides to place a bundle of explosives right in the middle of the island since it could send shockwaves through the whole island and maybe cause more damage. The center happens to be nearby to where John and Sami is. Marlena sets the explosives up cliffside and sets them off. Everyone on the island then hears a massive explosion that created an earthquake on the island. The ground begins to shake.

    -The shaking ground opens up beneath Hope creating a crater. Hope falls in and is grabbed last second by Chelsea who tries to hold on to her. Shane, Celeste, Eric, Nicole, Victor, and Maggie hang on to trees for hear life. One tree gets uprooted and prepares to fall on Victor as Maggie sees it beginning to come down.
    -Shawn holds on to Mimi as Bo holds onto Billie. Austin, Lucas, Roman, Abe, and Kate all brace themselves and hold on to a tree. Shawn Sr and Caroline hold on to a building as do Abby and Max. A piece of the building breaks off and is falling towards Jack. Jennifer screams out to him as Frankie races over to stop it. Abby sees its too and races to help her father. Frankie pushes Jack out of the way and both Abby and Frankie get hit as Max and Abby cry out to them.
    -Back at the New Salem Brady Pub, Alice and Mickey hold on tightly to the table as things around them begin to fall apart with debris falling everywhere.
    -Greta is racing through the catacombs to find cover when they begin to cave in. A huge pile of debris then falls on her.
    -Lexie is being held on to by Stefano. He radios Andre to find out what is going on but no one seems to know. Lexie is shocked to hear Stefano talking to an Andre and asks if that is who she thinks it is. Before Stefano can answer, both Lexie and him are toppled over by debris.
    -Rex and Belle hang on to each other as they try to find cover. They see Shane and the others and call out to them but a tree falls near them as both of them jump out of the way and fall to the ground.
    -John and Sami are in the cave. The whole thing begins to cave in. Sami thinks they are going to die and begins to get hysterical. John holds her and tries to calm her as they are both thrown back against the cave wall. Sami begins to wonder if she should tell John about what she found since this may be it for the both of them. If he is her father, she wants to be able to say goodbye to him even though he is the man she has hated for years. As rocks and boulders fall around them and John tries to shield them both, an emotional Sami decides to tell him everything:

    Sami: John, there is something I need to tell you. If we are going to die in here, you need to know this and I need you to know this.
    John: I won't let us die in here Samantha.
    Sami: You still need to know because the truth needs to come out ocne and for all. Maybe we can get to the bottom of it once I tell you. If we die here, I want to be able to say goodbye.
    John: What are you talking about? What is going on Samantha? You are acting like you know something I don't. Your talking about some truth and saying goodbye to me when we both know you hate me.
    Sami: John, I...I need to tell you. John...your my...you could be my..

    Sami begins to pull out the file she found as she begins to admit her discovery to him but the cave walls begin to cave in. John tells Sami to move to the back of the cave where the cave in isn't as dangerous. She tries to tell him about what she wants to but he keeps interupting and tells her to go. Sami starts moving but sees one of the cave walls about to collapse. She calls out to John but he doesn't hear her. She runs over to him as she tells herself that she can't let him die, he may be her father. As it is about to collaspe, she yells "Daddy!!" . Sami pushes him out of the way and wall falls on her as John looks on in horror and calls out to Sami. He begins to move the rocks and boulders and calls out "Samantha!! Samantha!!" as the screen fades to black and the credits roll.

    -Mimi cries out for Bonnie to wake up after she ran into the force field was tossed back. Meanwhile, Bonnie has an out of body experience where she is brought to purgatory. She is met by a man dressed in white who appers to be an angel. Bonnie asks if she is dead.
    -Belle slowly walks forward to embrace Marlena but Marlena backs off. Belle asks what is wrong. She tells Belle to just turn around and run away. Belle asks what is going on. Marlena tells Belle she wants revenge for all the wrongs done to her. People have always tried to control her and now she won't let that happen anymore. That is why she allied with Stefano because the island plot was the perfect setup for her revenge plans. Now she can take out everyone in Salem and pay them back for the hell they out her through. Belle asks her what she means by everyone and what she means by payback. What is she mad about? What is going on? Marlena tells her to stay out of it ...and out of her way.
    -Carrie is stunned to see Alan. She gets up and back away. She wants to know how he got to the island and how he got out of jail. Alan says he was released for good behavior and he was on the plane that brought up a group of Salemites to the island to go after the Dimera's and save Marlena Evans. He knew Sami was on board and was also hoping to keep a low profile and help out from a distance in hopes to show everyone he changed. Carrie doesn't buy it and asks what is really going on.
    -John is off searching for the others. Shane is on his own searching in another direction. John has left Hope, Chelsea, Maggie, Victor, Eric, Nicole, and Celeste back in the cave hideaway for safety reasons. He hopes he can find Belle, Greta, Lexie, and Sami so they can all begin to search for Marlena and the Dimera's.
    -Lexie and Greta continue to move their way through the catacombs. Greta thinks about everything that has happened to her since returning to Salem and about being involved in this. She thinks about what may happen if some of them, perhaps herself, don't get off alive. She thinks about when her mother revealed who her father was on her deathbed and thinks about whether she should tell her father and that world that she is his daughter. Meanwhile, Lexie is still searching for Sami. She notices a camera and realizes she is being watched.
    -Sami is shocked by the discovery she made in the file. "This can't be true. He was proven to be my father. He has to be." We then see a picture of what appears to be a man getting plastic surgery. There is also a DVD disk. Sami closes the file after reading through almost all of it and decides to hold onto it to further support the disk that contains all the Dimera secrets. She leaves the secret file room.
    -Stefano announces Ernesto as his partner. Ernesto corrects him and says that he is the true brain behind this operation-not Stefano. The captive island of presumed dead Salemites idea was his and Stefano was a big part in making it happen more efficiently. That is all. Stefano is mad about this but keeps his mouth shut saying they are both equal in power. Stefano reminds Ernesto not to test him. Ernesto is aware Stefano has more power but he was merely stating the fact that the island idea was his, not Stefano's. Andre defends Stefano too and warns Ernesto not to cross the Dimera's. Ernesto admits he would never do that after all the Dimera's did for him. They saved his life. Stefano and Andre are pleased and hope he keeps to his word or he will be permanently taken care of. Ernesto is well aware. Stefano orders Bart and his men to take Patrick and Tek away. Ernesto tells Stefano to keep them with him. He wants to "play" with them a bit. Stefano agrees to do so and leaves to go handle some business. He tells Andre to stay with Ernesto, Patrick, and Tek while he goes to find Lexie. There are some things he needs to handle. Andre agrees and stays back as Stefano leaves. Stefano orders Bart to find Carrie Brady ASAP. He can't run the risk of any of the rescue team members finding her.
    -Alan explains to Carrie that he went through hell in prison. The wardens, prisoners, etc all mocked him for being shot and defeated by a girl. The damage done by that bullet wound made him insecure about his manhood and having all those men in prison heckle him-it was nothing bit constant mental and physical abuse. They would laugh at what Sami did to him but he is not mad at her. He raped her and did horrible things to Carrie and to sami. He deserved everything he got and then some. Going through hell in prison changed him. He is not the same man. He even sought out a counselor in prison and was helped a great deal. Carrie still doesn't buy it. She begins to bend over in pain again. Alan says he saw Carrie running away from the guards and knows something is wrong. Carrie says she is worried about her baby and she is losing alot of blood. She admits that she feels faint. Alan admits he knows away off the island to get her help but there may be only room for two people. Carrie refuses to go anywhere with him. She doesn't trust him. Alan begs Carrie to reconsider-her life is at risk and her baby's. Carrie keeps refusing but then gets a sharp pain and passes out in Alan's arms. Alan realizes she is getting worse and decides to get her off the island via the method he knows about.
    -Belle can't beleive Marlena's behavior. Belle reminds Marlena of who she is and says that she is not the same. She thinks her mother needs help:

    Belle: Mom, you need help. Something is wrong. Nothing you are saying makes sense. You love us. I don't know what you mean by the island plot you mentioned and almost everyone you know in Salem is dead. You loved them and you love me and all those that came to this island to find you and help you.

    Belle finally runs over to Marlena and grabs her as she tries to get away.

    Belle: Let me take you to dad. We can all help you!
    Marlena: I don't want help. I don't need anything from any of you except for you all to leave me alone and stay out of my way!!! I want my revenge for what you all did.
    Belle: What did we do? You should be after the Dimeras. They did this. They must have you brainwashed again or maybe everything you have been through has made you snap.
    Marlena: I am not crazy. I am finally in control. I want everyone to pay, Dimera's included and they will. I will get my revenge for everything I was put through.
    Belle: This is crazy.
    Marlena: I am not crazy. I am listening to the voices in my head. They don't control me because they are me. The voices are me helping to make decisions and helping to plan what I need to.
    Belle: Listen to yourself. Voices?! Something is wrong mom. Those voices are not you. Maybe they are from being being brainwashed or maybe you are sick like Aunt Samantha.
    Marlena: Shut up!! Shut up!!! The voices are me. I am in control. They are me. Let go and just stay the hell out of the way!!!

    Marlena throws Belle off of her but she grabs on again. Marlena's eyes widen and rage is evident. She grabs Belle by the neck violently and begins to choke her.

    Belle (grasping for air): Mom what are you doing? It's me-it's Belle!!! It's your daughter!!
    Marlena: I am doing what I have to regardless of who you are. Nothing and no one will stand in my way.

    Belle tries to get her off but she can't. Marlena violently jerks her around and continues to choke her.

    -Bonnie is told my the angel that she is not dead but she is in trouble. She was brought up for a reason-and that was to tell her that her misdeeds have not gone unnoticed and that she will burn in hell if she does not change her ways. She is getting a second chance here. Bonnie asks why she would be given one. The angel explains that if Bonnie changes so will Mimi and maybe Patrick. Their lives have been sent down the wrong path because of her and she is the only one that can change that. Bonnie thinks about what she has done and about the things she pushed Mimi to do and tried to push Patrick to do. She realizes she needs to change and also make things right for her kids. She knows what she has to do. The angel says that is Bonnie's mission and if she does it, she will save herself and her kids from burning in the flames of hell and from alot of pain. Bonnie is sent back down to earth. When she leaves, the angel says, "Complete your mission and your reward will be at hand." Bonnie finally wakes up and Mimi is happy. She tells her mother not to try to get through the force field. Bonnie tells Mimi about her out of body experience and she tells Mimi that she has had a change of heart. They need to tell Shawn and Belle everything so they can save both of their souls and ensure themselves of a better life. Mimi is stunned by this.
    -Belle tries to break Marlena's hold on her but can't. A noise from the bushes leads Marlena to beleive someone is coming and she breaks the hold she has and runs off while telling Belle, "You got lucky this time but next time you won't if you don't stay out of my way." Belle gets up and recovers wondering what the noise was and how her own mother could try to kill her. She now knows how far gone her mother is. Belle worries that the noise was Dimera men so she begins to run off but is grabbed from behind. She turns around and is shocked: "Oh my God. It's you!!"
    -Alan brings Carrie to the other side of the island. He remembers where he saw a secret control box under a rock and hit a button which opens a side store room on the cliffside. There is a jetski, hovercraft, and a small paddle boat in there. Realizing he has no time with Carrie being ill, he takes a rope and uses it to tie him and Carrie together so she doesn't fall off the jetski while unconcious. He gets on it with her tied to his back and the jetski takes off and moves away from the island.
    -Patrick, Tek, and Andre are with Ernesto. Andre is just keeping an eye on them while smoking a cigar. Tek wants to know why Patrick wasn't shocked by Ernesto. Patrick says he knows him well by way of his dealings with Stefano. Ernesto mentions how Patrick and him don't see alot of each other but he does happen to know Patrick's deep, dark secret. The one Stefano has held over his head for years. Ernesto reminds Patrick that some already know about Tek's past and already know that Tek and Patrick work for Stefano but if anyone he knows and cares for learns about his skeletons-he will be lose everything that he has. Ernesto reminds Patrick that he is a threat to him, just like Stefano is, so he better abide by his wishes as well. He tells Tek the same even though many know about his past but that doesn't mean Stefano or himself can't find ways to hurt him even more. Tek and Patrick both look on horrified and wondering how they can ever get out of this.
    -Greta walks through the catacombs and notices a island guard enter the secret file room (that Sami was in)for a security check. Greta wonders what is in the room. She finally notices the security cameras and realizes she can't be caught on them going in the room. As the camera moves, she opens the door like the guard did and enters the room. She sees all the secret files and the computer and wonders what she may find.
    -Lexie is wandering through the catacombs and is worried about the cameras. She wonders if Sami and the others got caught because of them. She wonders if whoever is monitoring her on the cameras will come capture her. She wonders about who in her family could be in charge of everything this time. "That would be me, my darling daughter," says Stefano walking up behind her. Lexie turns around stunned, "Father?!" "Yes, my Alexandra. It is so good to see you," he responds as he embraces her and holds her in his arms.
    -Sami, after making her way through the catacombs once again, finds herself back at the place where she entered them and starting walking through this maze. She goes back up the staircase and decides to give things a try and see if she can open the secret entrance she fell through again. She pushes and hits it but it won't budge. She gets frustrated and throws a rock at the side wall. The door opens and she makes her way out. The door closes behind her. She holds the file and disk in her hand and wonders if it is all true and what this means for everyone. She puts the disk in her pocket and stuffs the file in her jacket, making it rather puffy. She wonders where Lexie went and reaizes she may have left. She prepares to leave the cave when John enters.

    John: Samantha. There you are. We have been looking everywhere for you. Have you seen Lexie or Belle?
    Sami: John.
    John: That's my name. Something wrong?

    Sami looks at John as she thinks about the info she found. She turns around and quietly says to herself,

    Sami: What do I do? Do I tell him? Do I tell him that he could be my father? That he may be the real Roman Brady?

    She turns around and looks at him with tears welling in her eyes and silently says,

    Sami: Daddy?

    The screen then fades to black and the credits roll.
