DA Lady? Is she anything like California Lady?

ARTICLE: Great American Family Announces ‘An Accidental Arctic Christmas’, Reunites Stars Jill Wagner & Cameron Mathison
She's done at least one other Hallmark Christmas movie, I think. It was called "Christmas Cookies," and it was about some hotshot (Wagner) who arrives in a small town to buy its' Christmas cookie company and move its' operations to the Big City. Of course, because it was a Hallmark Christmas movie, she falls in love with the town (and with the generically hot guy who runs the business) and fights to keep the company and its' factory open.

Knots Landing
It was all so random: "Say, didja know reporter Ben Gibson used to be a spy (kinda) back in the day? Oh, and by the way, this 'lingerie saleslady' wants him to assassinate Greg Sumner. Why, you ask? Beats the heck outta us!" IKR, lol? I peeked at some of the comments, and among those giving her fist bumps were Octavia Spencer, Viola Davis and Tracey E. Bregman. Donna is out here proving that you still can be cool and sexy in your 80s and I love it.

I think that's because Joan Collins knew Diahann Carroll was no threat to her, and vice-versa. Joan and Diahann appeal mostly to two different demographics, with gay men being the overlapping circle in the Venn diagram.

That's why I would hire her in a second if I were running any kind of series. She might not be the greatest actor, but she has screen presence, she's a hard worker and a team player.

ARTICLE: ‘General Hospital’ Executive Producer Frank Valentini Teases “Big Plans” Ahead For Soap Opera
Not a chance! As long as he keeps the ratings up to a satisfactory level, and does so while spending as little cash as possible, Frank ain't goin' nowheres. (Same goes for Josh Griffith at Y&R).

I have to believe even Gloria Monty knew Tony Geary was setting himself up for failure by returning as a brand-new character - and NOT the one viewers wanted to see - but she still went along with it (and tried to make the most of it by creating a new, blue-collar family around Bill) because it beat not having TG back at all.

No, lol. I'm just making a callback to OLTL (and how they renamed Cord and Tina's daughter for a time after growing up off-screen for awhile).

Guiding Light Discussion Thread
If it's true that Pamela K. Long wanted to bring Rita back at the same time she (and Nancy Curlee) brought Roger back, then I'd have to give the two credit for honoring history that way. So often, when a show decides to bring back a character, they hardly ever think about bringing back others whom that character was tied to as well.

Dallas Discussion Thread
It's just like what happened to DYNASTY after the Moldavian Massacre. The event itself - in DYNASTY's case, the wedding/shootout; in DALLAS', the dream season ending with Bobby in the shower - was bad enough, but the letdown that came afterward was, in the long run, truly detrimental.

I doubt Joan was ever jealous of Linda. After all, she (Joan) was the one who bagged Warren Beatty for a time. She knew she had the goods, lol. I've always wondered how MP managed to have a trouble-free set compared with so many other Spelling-produced shows.
