Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Sounds horrible. I'll just stick around for LVP & Camille scenes. I agree @Cat & @DaytimeFan, she should just own her British diva 'tude and be up front about the story. Dorit pulled a dick move with the dog; calling her out on it publicly is the price Dorit can pay for wanting fame and notoriety.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I'd have to agree. As icy and condescending as she could be, there was a sophistication to her that some of other slobs just don't have.... and yes, I'd like to see her go in on Kelly. I don't know the history/beef with her and Andy, but isn't there another Bravolebrity who absolutely despises her?

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
All caught up on OC... Kelly Dodd just gets more and more annoying. Even the way she says her opening tagline is obnoxious AF. "Call ANIMAL control, cuz there's a COOOOUGER on the loose," delivered in her usual sloppy tone. And when Vicki said she wishes she could talk to her mom, and Kelly gives that usual sloppy patronizing "Awww." Ugh. I'm ready for Kelly to bow out. I actually don't mind Gina and Emily. They kind of remind me of a Carole/Heather type of relationship, a bond forming as a result of being two newbies on a crazy show. As long as they don't isolate themselves like a Soggy/Dolores, they might stick around another year. Overall, it's an okay season. There's no fake cancer story or endless fallout of a fake cancer story, so there's nowhere to go but up. EDIT: Side Note: I found it refreshing that Gina just openly and casually said she doesn't believe in God. Then we watch as twice and thrice-married Vicki and Tamra clutch their pearls.

"The Conners" Discussion Thread
I think there’s a good chance this year. Last year’s 9 episode arc aired in April and May so it wouldn’t have made sense. One promo shows Jackie and Darlene discussing upcoming holiday plans. “We’ll do what we always do. Spend everything on Halloween and have nothing to be thankful for or buy presents with.”

Roseanne reruns have returned to TVLAND. They had at least 6 hours worth air this morning of Season Two. just in time for Halloween!

Looking back...Primetime Ratings from the 80's
Yes indeed, fun memories of the late 80's/early 90's when NBC Saturday nights (which of course are female-oriented shows) were my favorite. Golden Girls, Empty Nest, and Sisters. There was one year in particular (1991-1992; Golden Girls' final season) when they had Golden Girls, Empty Nest, and Nurses. Nurses also lived in the same fictional universe as the other two, and they would crossover on each other's shows.

+1 on "Why Isn't Danielle Staub A Housewife??" P.S. Of all the women in Housewifeland who are trying as hard as they can to stave off Father Time, I gotta go with Ramona as the one fighting off aging the best. I can't wait to see what they all look like at 70 They can't fight him forever...

Looking back...Primetime Ratings from the 80's
Wow, Dolly Parton’s variety show started out strong! I remember watching a couple episodes in the late 80’s my mom taped on VHS. Even though I was only 4, I distinctively remember that FOX Sunday night lineup. Duet was retooled and renamed Open House.

"Meh" was my first thought, too. And I'd have to agree with @Cheap21 There's a lack of spark in that promo without Kenya.

Agreed. I just keep hoping we can stave off as much damage as humanly possible that he plans on doing before January 2021.

Oh SNAP! I need Potomac to return next week

Eww, Kavanaugh speaking/shouting is extremely off-putting. Reminds me of a Will Ferrell impression on SNL (hmm...)

I can't believe she's 39 and has gone all funhouse mirror on her face for the past 6+ years. She was beautiful as she was. Sure, she had acne scarring on her skin, but she didn't need to shave half her jaw off.

Yeah, I'm surprised Shannon is included as she and Alexis/Jim didn't appear on the show at the same time, but who knows :::shrug::: Oh Gretchen... well if nothing else, it'll give conflict for Tamra vs. Vicki, plus we'll get to see whatever incarnation Gretchen currently has going for a face.

Yes, team Karen for that wig moment! I couldn't support any New Yorkers except LuAnn. Too much Bethenny... (and Dorinda was too ugly this year). Funny that for "Best Friends," they have NYC's Ramona and NJ's Melissa together.

I knew it was only a matter of time. All his sexcapades with 22 year old's can't all be sweetness 'n light. Side note: I noticed while watching RHOC that one of the co-executive producers listed is Lynsey Dufour. My mouth dropped when I saw that name. Not only was she a former script writer at Y&R during the Lynn Marie Latham days, but.... I interned with her at Y&R in '04. Oy. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to do some day drinking and ponder my life's choices of the past fourteen years

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Dolores makes for a decent supporting role so I’m glad she’s still there. Margaret ended up being a hit last year so I hope it continues and she isn’t hit with the 2nd season curse (P.S. her mother is so freaking cute). Otherwise, the Teresa/Melissa stuff looks to be same ol same ol. I’m hoping Margaret continues to be a big part of the drama, that Teresa and Dolores patch things up, and that one or both of the new girls are a success. RHONJ has had such a problem with evolving, and at the root of it, we still have it centered on the famb-il-lee dynamic of Tre/Mel. Oh, and no Danielle? Is Bravo going to dangle that carrot like they do Camille? I hope she at least appears a lot like last season.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Save your time and don't bother. It's a stand-alone season where Teresa looks so bored fighting with a bunch of new people when she's really worrying about her family's future jail time and just there for the paycheck. Oh and Melissa's there as always, riding Tre's coattails. The only highlight of The Dunkin' Donuts Twins and Amber season is the allegation that one of the twin's husband had sex with their mother (her name is Santa. "You had sex with Santa?" LOL). Also, Amber's husband was kind of a lovable prick. Perhaps Amber & hubby would've worked better had they brought them on earlier or later, but S6 was just pointless.

Agreed; in a Housewives lull right now. I have like 6 OC episodes to catch up on and I'm not enticed to watch. So we have Atlanta returning early November... if New Jersey returns soon after, you think Bravo would try putting it behind Atlanta to help boost their numbers? They tanked last year being on Wednesdays.

The Kelly Clarkson Show Thread
Another talk show that's destined to only last 2 seasons, just like Meredith Vieira and Katie Couric. P.S. Did Bethenny Frankel ever pay Omarosa the 10K they bet on during B's talk show when Omarosa predicted the show wouldn't last more than a year? Haha...

Barbara sounds promising! I love that, once again, she shares an actual history with the cast. NYC and Potomac are so fortunate to have that continuously going for them. As others have mentioned, I'm more excited about Potomac returning (which we'll have to wait for until next Spring probably) than BH or ATL which is sad, as I used to consider them the 2 biggest heavy hitters of the Housewives series. I don't know what to make of the newbies on ATL or Eva being upped to full-time wife, but I'm not super excited. At least Nene is here for another season and I'm glad she took that time away to let out all the air that had gotten to her head. BH, eh, just make Camille a full-time wife so we can see her sashay across the screen in the opening again.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Damn. I really liked it actually. I was just glad to see Alicia Silverstone in something fun again. Playing catchup on this thread finally. And I'd have to agree this was the only "refreshing" thing about Part 3 of the reunion was Ramona & Sonja's mutual admiration for one another, despite a season where they were nearly pitted against one another. The genuine friendship shined at the end. Same with Sonja/LuAnn and hell, there IS a special friendship/understanding with Ramona/LuAnn despite all their petty ups and downs. At the root of it, they look out for each other. Carole had me and then lost me by downplaying her friendship with Tinsley. I gotta say, despite seeming so much younger than the other cast members, this "youngster" has ended up blending quite well with the ladies, and veterans like Ramona seem to genuinely like her. The big question for Season 11 is just how ugly it will get with Queen Bethenny still calling all the shots behind the scenes. And Dorinda, PLEASE clean up your act. This was such a bad season for you. You were the golden girl for three solid seasons but fell hard this year.

Re: RHONY Reunion... did anyone else catch the comment Ramona made as she was listing off her many business ventures she was handling and how it "caused her marriage to end" or something to that effect?

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Saw RHONY Reunion, Part 1. It's like the opposite of ATL (disappointing season; great reunion). RHONY had a banner year, but this reunion has fallen into the toxicity levels of their season 4 reunion before the mass overhaul. It definitely felt hollow without LuAnn there, as she was the driving force of so much of this past year. Seeing Andy prop up Bethenny and halt conversation when the other women called her to task was pathetic. I'm glad Carole calls out Andy next week; another friendship ends due to the show. Other than Dorinda's refusal to own up to her dependence on alcohol and her insistence that LuAnn owes her an apology (she doesn't), I actually didn't mind Ramona, Dorinda, and Carole calling out all of B's antics. It just stinks that EVERYONE spoke at once (shades of S4 reunion). Sonja looked pathetic, being B's lil sidekick (to which Ramona called her a puppydog... I *loved* when Ramona put her hand over Sonja's rambling mouth at one point). Ramona's delivery isn't always the best, but she threw out A LOT of dirt about Bethenny not supporting other women, ruining friendships, not having female friends and all the BTS garbage B pulls on the show. And if Bethenny wants to hold onto a grudge where Ramona called her out on the Brooklyn Bridge way back in 2010, it's only because Ramona's prophesy was correct. I also loved Carole's digs that so much of what Bethenny does is for the cameras and what she does when the cameras are off are two different things. Which is what this report about her time in Puerto Rico echos: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5456121/Bethenny-Frankel-tried-quit-RHONY-feud-Carole-Radziwill.html As much as Season 10 delivered in spades, it sounds like behind-the-scenes have gotten so dark and toxic, with Bethenny serving as an uncredited producer and having so much influence with the show. With Carole gone, it'd be great to have Heather Thomson back (wow, I was always indifferent about her, but you know she'd called out B's bull, even if just for one season). I'm guessing next season we're going back to two-team alliances with Bethenny/LuAnn/Sonja versus everyone else. Hmm... not liking where this is headed. P.S. Is the reunion 2 parts or 3? If Lu were there, it'd for sure be 3.
