Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Vino (is that his name) slept with Santa? Hahahaha that sentence is funny in multiple ways Boy, what a stroke of luck that Victoria Gotti just happened to surprise Teresa at her book signing, invites her and Amber over to her mansion, and then spills the latest nugget du jour about the twins. And all three of them never even bothered to take their coats off during the conversation. Cold house? Somewhere in Jersey there's a woman who looks like the Cheshire Cat grinning at the show's dwindling popularity.

100% agreed. Or, as Jill likes to say, "A thousand percent!" Enjoy the ride! Side note: it's silly how Kelly uses what happened at Scary Island as a reason to begrudge Ramona in season 4. Ramona was totally supportive of her during the trip, as best as anyone could. But, I suppose you can't reason with crazy.

Damn, that would've worth it to watch the whole season of that! Is that the same show Gretchen & Slade were just on? What some will do to stay on reality TV... Team Beadors here. Heather & Terry were so condescending and rude. And Shannon *did* apologize multiple times. The Dubrows were just looking for an excuse to stay mad at them (for story purposes?) and they looked pissed when Shannon's hubby apologized to Terry, because now they don't have a reason to be mad. So apparently, the apology was too little, too late. Too bad. If they were genuinely upset that those comments were made in front of their kids, they should've been just as mad at Eddie.

Speaking of which, I don't read the other reality gossip sites these days, but I take it Sheree's return isn't happening?

I'm guessing last night's New Jersey episode won't be receiving any spectacular ratings. Pretty uneventful. And the first half of the episode focused on the newbies. They're focusing too much on the twins' families. I feel like we know Nicole more than Ter-eh-suh but perhaps I just got them confused in the first episode. Dina was barely on, Melissa was dumb, Amber painted herself in prostitute makeup for the bakery shop, and Teresa's family was still worrying about tomorrow. It's funny that Rosie's girlfriend is named Ellen. The two biggest lesbian talk show hosts happily together.

I love the season 2 reunion. According to the intro, that is the first time a Housewives reunion was in two parts. Watching that reunion, I'm actually surprised Kelly was brought back for another season, considering none of the other girls were feeling her (but I'm glad they did, if only for Scary Island!). And you're right in that Ramona is a hypocrite re: LuAnn's marital problems in the second season. I'm wondering if she's gonna let it all hang out next season. It looks like she's tired of playing it up like things were perfect and is ready to let the world know that Mario was a lying scumball. I just hope she doesn't venture into Sonja territory in terms of being a sloppy man-chaser. OC: They cracked 2 million this past week. Eric, is this the first time they hit over 2 million this season?

Damn, look at that trio. NeNe's been iced out and rightfully so. Season 7 shall be interesting indeed. Chris, I didn't look at the Kelly/Bethenny feud as one that Bethenny started. Granted, the details are cloudy, but the reason why Bethenny was guarded towards Kelly was valid and real. It wasn't a "this is a new cast member" set up, it was more like they had a real, authentic history. And Kelly was fake and phony long before the cameras rolled, only focusing on the pretty men in the room and totally dismissing the ladies (Bethenny wasn't the only one to make that observation). And I'm sorry, but if someone wants to call me Madonna, I'd be flattered. Yes, I am Madonna. I have power, immense wealth, and I don't put my name on everything that comes my way. NYC Present Day: that was a fun finale of the reunion. It's so funny watching Ramona try to have a nice, compassionate moment with the ladies. 'A' for effort, Miss Singer Sonja continued her delusions. Ramonja are such besties it's cute. They finally acknowledged LuAnn's "different role" this season. Carole & Heather reminded me of why I like them, and kinda hope they both return next season. Aviva continued being a joke, and they all knew she pre-planned the leg toss incident. If they wanna do seven gals, I say do: Ramona, LuAnn, Carole, Heather, Sonja, and the return of Jill and Bethenny as a regular friend. If they wanna drop Sonja, that's fine cuz Ramona's ally can be Bethenny. Throw in a new gal or bring back Alex. I'd love to see the original gals battle it out, with the second era (Heather, Carole) to even things out. To this day, we know there's tension between Bethenny vs Jill, Jill vs Ramona, Jill vs Alex (as far as we know), Alex vs LuAnn (as far as we know).

Tamra bailed from the table way too quickly. What a wuss. Take your tongue-lashing like a woman. I loved those looks Tamra and Vicki were giving each other. Even before Tamra asked if something was wrong, she knew she was about to get it. That whole "this is why nobody likes you" line that Tamra said to Danielle makes me kinda wish we could see what was cut.

Who's worse (or should I say better) at throwing the brick and hiding the hand? (i.e. stirring ish up and then acting innocent) or (P.S. I included that photo with a Danielle inset for a reason...)

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Agreed. Although it bugs me that now when someone speaks ill will about Teresa/Joe, Melissa acts like she takes personal offence because "they're family." Bitch, please. So, isn't Jersey finished filming? One of the reports said they'd be filming the sentencing of Joe/Teresa in late September and Jacqueline will be appearing. Would that be tagged on to the end of THIS season?

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
You can just bet they're dangling a carrot to get Bethenny to come back. So now all the stuff she discussed on her talk show-- the mandated girls trips, the need to create drama for the sake of story, etc-- she'll have to do all over again. Weird. Seriously though, they've had all the originals (Jill, Kelly) come back to be on WWHL except Alex. What does Bravo have against her?

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I'm sure she tried to make it work. The drama originally unfolded well before the season even premiered on TV. Agreed, MrPrezident. He's only got a couple good years left.

OMFG!!!!!!!!! That advice she gives about women needing to make sure they make a living for themselves rings so true now. I bet she didn't want to end up miserable like her mother. At least Ramona is rich, smart, and independently wealthy. She'll do fine. And I'm sure one day she'll spill the details, especially since she's not the one at fault. Mario. That sexy sh*thead. ;-)

Oh my Lord. I'm not gonna read all that. I don't even like her much. What's the Cliff's Notes version?

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Totally agree. It makes NO sense that "Lizzie's friend" was invited to go on the trip. Especially when it was set up that Tamra and Heather were the ones that planned it. I have to roll my eyes at Danielle's petty concern over Vicki calling her dumb. No story. NYC: Andy could've let up on Ramona. She wasn't going to elaborate. She gave her canned answer repeatedly and he kept pressing and getting uglier about it. He should've let up earlier. Ramona is wrong about Heather's hubby. He's quite cute. He's just a shorty compared to his wife. Maybe he simply needs to walk into the room before her so she doesn't overshadow him (season 5 reference) LuAnn is really letting her balls swing and I love it! Get yer apple back, girl! Once again, LuAnn was accidentally back in the apple lineup after the preview for next week's eppy. This whole season has been sloppy, with that and then the disappearing/reappearing Aviva.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Arrrrrrrgh! Lizzie would've been flawless if only she had remembered that she DID text back 'n forth with Tamra on her birthday night. She clearly had too much to drink and forgets some things. Including that epic clip they flashed back to of her saying her hubby only gets an erection once a week! WTF? OC has done a lot of those "flashback" sequences of lil snippets that never aired in the first place, but they use to fill in all the pieces of a conversation. I'm on the fence on if I like it. I think when used sparingly, it works. And it saves the trouble of showing a long drawn out pointless scene where there's only one tiny interesting part to it. These "flashbacks" cut to the chase. But other times, like on tonight's episode, they did that so much it was a tad disorienting to me. Like, I wasn't sure if it was new material we hadn't seen or a true flashback. Vicki had me laughing my ass off! She's such a nut. NYC: rewatched the reunion, and they made an editing booboo at the very end. After the previews for next week's eppy when they go back to the lineup of the six ladies holding their apples, they used Season 5's with LuAnn in the lineup instead of Kristen. Whoops!

It's an interesting comparison watching season one with the show nowadays (along with most other Housewives) where in season one it was ALL about their families. You got to know Jill's daughter, Luann's kids and housekeeper Rosie, Ramona's daughter (LOVED her constant embarrassment of her mother) etc. Nowadays you couldn't even identify who's kids are whose.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
1st season on NYC is SO different from the rest. The biggest tiff is a friendly competitive tennis match between Ramona and Jill. Oh and that brief thing with Ramona vs Alex/Simon. Is the reunion on hulu? I have yet to see that, back when it wasn't a big event.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I would think they would keep at least one or the other (Vicki more importantly). Those 2 are the main faces (there's a plastic surgery joke begging to be cracked) of the show. To lose both in one year would hurt the OC brand. Plus, the OC doesn't have a football team of supporting players waiting in the wings, like Atlanta or Beverly Hills.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
LuAnn vs. Sonja is what could save both from being cut next season. I'm pretty much over Sonja and her delusions. And I just LOVE LuAnn calling her out on her business ventures that never turn into anything. Sonja needs a wake-up call, and I also like how LuAnn called her out on being a fake friend, losing touch during the break between seasons, then suddenly trying to be all chummy once they started filming again. LuAnn legitimately wanted to keep in touch, and Sonja totally brushed her off. LuAnn/Andy vs. Ramona next week looks sooooo good. I loved that shade Ramona gave about LuAnn being jealous because she's not on the show, because LuAnn actually was one of the MVP's this season without a dusty ol' apple. Aviva is the new Alex; everything she says is irrelevant and nobody really cares what she has to say.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Ooh snap, I bet they will. LuAnn has every right to go after Ramona, because she has commented on LuAnn's infidelity as well as being a "weekend mom." All the more reason why LuAnn needs to return and hold an apple next season. No matter what they decide for next year, they should hold on to their two originals.
-
Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Wow, it seems like they just started! That's when you know it's a good season. I would think we'd have a couple months left of episodes before the reunion.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Thanks. I'm really hoping there's more to the story here. If she's just marketing herself and using the NYC name for recognition, that's one thing. But if Bravo is filming, whether it be for one of their other shows or some official event, I'm hoping they're gearing up for a return. I'm totally eating my words, but I want that troublemaker back.
