Gotta love that stank expression they used for Jill's shot. haha

It just felt hollow and stupid. Jacqueline's over here bawling like she's losing her bff, and her bff won't even film scenes with her!

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaass Bethenny's back! Sorry Carole, the queen of clever comments is back! Better relinquish the crown quietly; I have a feeling if she tried to step up her game, she'd fail miserably. See: her first reunion. Still kinda bummed that Kristen is returning because I don't really care about her, or her relationship with the other ladies. Still hoping Bravo will pull out a last-minute surprise with a return of Jill, even if just for an episode or two for her and Bethenny to fight reunite. Lord knows Bethenny never held back about JZ on her talk show! Did not hear about that! I heard a different version about the gay brother's wedding; the other version I heard of made Dina sound like the bad one. Tsk, tsk, covering up Dina's husband's affair and breaking bread with the cheating hubby and the mistress? I guess what goes around comes around since Albert was screwing around on Caroline...

Yes. These four for one more round would be Housewives gold. I need one more good season of Bethenny dragging Jill's ass all over Manhattan.

I have to agree with this (bringing back Aviva), since Bethenny has reported since day one that she helped bring Aviva to the show. Let's see Bethenny handle the crazy on camera! I like to compare the hierarchy of all these shows to Beverly Hills, because I think the level of importance and the roles the ladies play on that show are very clear (at least IMO; I know some of you hate Kyle). And NYC's Heather and Carole are like BH's Taylor and Kim. Yeah, they can ruffle a few feathers every now and then, but they're not who we're coming to see, and they aren't the ones that everyone's trying to be BFF's with. They need some Lisa's and Kyle's and Camille's (Bethenny, Jill, LuAnn) to headline the show and make things pop. And they cannot give up on Ramona, especially if Bethenny is returning. Those two are genuine friends. I would *love* to see a truly "renewed" Ramona--- life after Mario! Will this make her more pleasant or an even crazier bitch? She may have been so short-circuited because of that man. She may find peace and be able to co-exist with the ladies in a much better fashion. Or, she may go off the deep end and be worse than ever. And what if she slutted it up like looneytunes Sonja? Oh, the possibilities are endless for a "renewed" Mario-less Ramona Singer! ATL: Phaedra has fallen out of favor with so many, it even comes across that way on Ellen. She's not the southern Belle everyone loved in season 3. I don't think she'll come out of this top dog at the reunion; she's got at least one couch full of ladies already prepared to come for her, and the season hasn't even begun to air! They've got a good 6 months to dig up dirt on Shady Phae-Phae and practice their one-liners. Kenya will be practicing for a prop-less reunion this time 'round.

I was thinking the same thing. I could easily see her as the next Vicki G, celebrating 10 seasons as the OG of the ATL. P.s. I had to google Michael Moriarty.

Well said, Soaplovers. God, the 3 new ones and their families tried way too hard. And you're right about the OC comparison. A through line was present and strong, even with the questionable editing of Lizzie and Danielle (?). I forget the 'friends of' names sometimes if they're a total non-factor.

Good grief, that sounds messy. Jersey always gets the messy edits. Like when they filmed the season 3 reunion right after filming the season 4 finale, and Caroline and an absent Jacqueline were pissed at Teresa even though they were friends all season long. Meanwhile, wasn't there some off-camera drama that happened season 3 in Punta Cana, where they all got into some huge bar brawl? Wonder whatever became of that. On this upcoming season finale, did they edit in brand new footage of Teresa & Joe's sentencing from 2 weeks ago?

So, so true. I like her, but damn, she even sounds bored doing her "for more about the real housewives, go to bravotv.com" voice-over.

They always find something to talk about (they had 3 parts for NYC and it wasn't a buzz-worthy season) but I really wonder how they'll fill up 3 hours. Dina - nothing Melissa - How's the new house? Teresa - "I can't talk about anything. I just wanna be there for my daughrrters." Jacqueline - cries for 5 more minutes about her son's autism (oh wait! She skipped again. Darn) Rosie - Still chasing after poon? Kathy - Still making canollis? Nicole, Teresssssa, and Amber will have the most to talk about, and it'll be a bunch of jibber-jabber. I was surprised how fast the season went and how it felt like it was building up to something that never came to be. If the Victoria Gotti thing was the big twist, what a lame, contrived monkey wrench. Almost as obvious as season 4's Posche party ("you were a dancer, right Melissa?" says the strange guy with the Bravo microphone all ready for his close-up) The past few episodes felt like 2 different shows. The New Jersey of yore (Jac, Kathy, Rosie, etc) and the new New Jersey filled with uninteresting and thirsty newbies. And Teresa rightfully does not give a f.ck about any of the contrived lady drama. I'm on the fence about keeping these new ladies or sending them back to hang at Dunkin' Donuts. Sure hope a Beverly Hills trailer is released this week!

Season 3 had Lisa, Kyle, Kim, Taylor, Adrienne, Brandi, and Yolanda. Plus, you had Camille basically a housewife since she filmed heavily until they dropped her for not featuring her personal life. Also, there was Marissa (was that her name?) and good ol' Faye. Season 3 had a boatload of "Friends of". (And who can forget Pam's return for one episode talking with Taylor, drinking, lighting up her cigarette with the candle on the table, and being a total bitter hot mess)

BH had 7 in season 3 I think. NYC had 7 in seasons 3&4. And there was ATL briefly when Kim was still around when Porsha was introduced. I'm guessing the same: Lisa, Kyle, Kim, Brandi, Yolanda, Lisa R, and Eileen, if we are to believe reports of both soap ladies joining.

Yes PLEASE! If they're gonna go out, go out on top! So, a million for Bethenny, and an alleged 1.5 for Miss Linnethia. Where's Bravo getting all this dough?

Ha! Would that air before or after Cindy Barshop's?

Agreed. I need this woman back on television, preferably a soapy show. Is she still on the show with Mark-Paul Gosselaar? I'm not into that kind of show but I liked her character, the couple episodes I saw.

What did Danielle Staub say? I think NJ's numbers will spike tomorrow, just due to curiosity from people who've tuned out. I wonder, with Jersey's future uncertain, NYC on its last leg (no pun intended), and Miami a non-factor, I wonder if this is the beginning of the end for the Housewives phenomenon. It can't last forever. Atlanta is still a powerhouse, OC is going steady, and Beverly Hills will hopefully recoup from last season. I wonder if these will be the last 3 ladies standing.

Good God, how many housewives couples have sought refuge on that show now?

Better do it while she can. Can't earn those coins while in the slammer. I can't imagine people are buying up her cookbooks these days.

So true. I haven't really read up on the charges, so I wonder exactly when all the illegal dealings happened. I know Joe didn't file his taxes in 2004, but were most of the dealings around 2008-2009? If so, it's sadly ironic, going to extremes to obtain a lifestyle for a show, and now that show is what's going to help dig you out of your own mess.

Next season's trip for the ladies will be a staycation in Teresa's basement! Glad that Bethenny is returning to NYC! Last-ditch effort for this series, indeed. I am loving the Atlanta trailer but I am really looking forward to Beverly Hills to see who's going to make the cast list. And I love all this blending of Housewives with soap operas. The soap genre needs a lil spotlight & kudos from the current torch holder of escapist television. Lisa V & Lisa R as buddies will be heavenly!

What kind of queen is she if she can't even get you to stick around and watch?

OMG yes, she was acting loopy as they questioned her as she was coming down the stairs. They should've known something was off about her, but they were either too involved in their own lives or just figured, "That's Claudia for ya!" The toxic paint was no doubt DAYS' (Reilly's) inspiration when Peter Blake did the same to Laura Horton.

I liked Claudia! I liked the way she was written in the first season (except for a couple freakout moments where she was just crazy in a hilarious way). I liked how they showed her as an outsider trying to handle fitting back in society after being locked up in the looney bin. Not only was she adjusting to society, but also adjusting to being a wife and mother again. But the first season had depth. I would have to say that she mostly wasn't needed once they wrote off Matthew and Lindsey. Although, we got that gem of a moment when we thought she had kidnapped Fallon's baby and the baby doll goes flying off the tall building and crashing below. Pamela Bellwood had some interesting teased up hair during some of those seasons in the mid-80's, as well as all that pastel makeup. Not a good choice, but hey, it was the 80's! Now, with Pamela Sue Martin leaving: Didn't she have some sort of condition where she was suffering from hair loss? She is definitely one I wish had popped back on television in later years. Loved her sultry voice and piercing eyes.

Agreed on both points. Love 'em or hate 'em, Tamra is needed on OC and Kyle is needed on BH. They stir the pot, but don't make it too dark & dirty. (Same with Ramona on NYC. An entire season of Carole, Heather, and Kristen all lovey-dovey together would be Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz)
