I'm tired of the excuses made for Eva. No matter what she says or does, Leslie and Eva's upbringing are raised. It's her go-to excuse. On the other hand, Kat is criticized because... well, because she's Kat. Her upbringing and her parents are never raised as blame. Eva was doing dirty to the Dupree family on DAY ONE. Kat clocked her. Everyone else moved on like Eva really did nothing wrong -- it was all Leslie's influence and fault. Then Eva slept with Tomas -- Kat's boyfriend. Again, according to Eva fans, not really a big deal and Kat is annoying and deserved it and it's all Leslie's fault anyway. GMAB. Kat can be sharp tongued, but she's not wrong about any of it.

-- This show continues to write scenes that make no sense. -- Why would Devon and Abby go to Crimson Lights with all that's happening with Dominic? I realize they wanted scenes with Tessa, but they can't do better than this? A visit to the coffee shop? -- With Devon's money, why aren't swarms of investigators around? Where is Abby's family? -- Billy and Cane take over an entire company and now want to keep it a secret because Jill is sick? What? No one does any work at these companies -- they talk about taking over and who's in charge. -- Newman is in chaos, but Nick and Sharon head to the GCAC for eats? What? -- I know budget is the problem. So stop writing scenes and stories that don't work without a budget.

-- Did we get no Drew and Willow this week because Cameron Mathison was away filming for someone else? -- The Joss stuff is so bad and continues to ruin every show she's in. -- I thought the final montage was really well done -- until it left the couples pairings and decided to show Trina/Portia and Joss/Enemy. It all made sense, and then they ruined it.

-- Carlton and Izaiah are both good looking, but damn, they're boring. Neither one has personality or edge of any kind. -- The conversations between Eva and Izaiah have yet to show me what they see in each other. -- The bedroom scene with Nicole and Carlton was well done and well-directed. Still, I can't pretend that this was some daytime breakthrough. There was no pushing the envelope there. -- Really good Vernon and Anita scenes. Fun, genuine, entertaining stuff from two strong actors. -- Chelsea screaming her head off to Madison in the hospital -- ugh. Again, These public displays are too much. And Chelsea's "I'm just a girl standing in front of a girl...." was another ugh. -- Chelsea wants to party and do drugs. She thinks that's part of who she is, and that is sad. -- I wish the show handled Anita's hair loss differently. I can't be the only one who's always seen Anita as wearing wigs. Now we're supposed to think this is her real hair that she's losing? They're playing the beats here in a very inauthentic way.

-- The actress playing Charlotte is OK to me, but I think Asher Antonyzyn, who plays Danny, is limited. I can see the acting, and I don't think he's improving. Finn Carr (Rocco) is a much stronger performer. -- I still see a couples problem on GH. Almost every relationship is in some kind of limbo/purgatory area. We're teased over and over with almost no couples movement, never getting to a real relationship. I cannot believe GH does this with almost every character.

-- Ashley gets a lot of time at work to flirt with guys and have conversations with exes. -- Vernon hit Bill with a lot of truth, but haven't we seen scenes between them that seemed to move past Vernon's intense anger at what Bill did? -- Dani was beyond rude to Lynette. Total mean girl. Why wasn't Lynette offended? -- Using that airport/mall coffee shop set for Dani to run into Hayley and Lynette made no sense.

I agree with you on this. I don't want BTG to do what every other soap has done. I'd rather these tropes be turned on their heads. I know others disagree, but saying this is typical daytime just sounds like an excuse to me. I don't expect Gates to reinvent the wheel, but I also would like to avoid the cliches and do the unexpected more often.

-- The writing has continually thrown Portia under the bus, but it was about time for a takedown. No one on the soaps lies more than this woman, gets caught, and then makes a dozen excuses. -- Joss is a 🤡 🤡 🤡. Her entire storyline is hilariously bad. I can't take any of it seriously, and she's actually ruined any credibility the WSB ever had.

I realize that. I just think it's overused on soaps, and I also don't believe that partners and spouses abide by it. Good to see Ted put his foot down, but why tell Leslie the roses were for Shanice? Shouldn't he be smarter than to give her that information? I'm with you on this. I know it's a soap, but I do not want Dani to seriously entertain Bill ever again. And again, I'll bring up the fact that Bill hasn't changed or learned anything. His "reasons" for falling out of love with Dani -- essentially blaming HER -- were pathetic. It made him look even worse to me, and I hate to see Dani give him any kind of attention. This "I have to talk with Bill because of all the cancer stuff" is ridiculous. -- I liked the inside joke when Nicole talked about Ted's change in fashion and "looking different" after their marriage broke up. -- I did not like hearing Carlton and Shanice talk about the desserts they had after their dates with Nicole and Ted. That was all kinds of off. -- I'm not sure about Naomi's cancer research. Going to the hospital to ask Shanice what she thinks about different doctors? Really? -- I think Vernon hovering over Anita and her irritation with him are being played well. However, I think it's too much, too soon when Anita has a conversation with Nicole about becoming the family matriarch.

I used to salivate over Jacob Young, but the MAGA stuff turns my stomach so much. I can find dozens of other guys to drool over. BTW, Jacob looks fat in that interview with Michael Fairman. Karma.

-- I liked Vaughan, primarily because he made Joss bearable. She's better playing off a romantic partner. Alone as a WSB agent? No. -- If the WSB is so big and powerful, why the hell would Joss have to ask Brick about cutting the power to Spoon Island? Talk about a third-rate organization. -- Involving Joss in the power grid stuff is laughable.

You beat me to saying this exact thing. Your entire post is on point. What a mess from top to bottom. -- Phyllis and Billy have control of Newman, so their first order of business is to visit Victor? Not that it matters -- we won't see any business done regardless. Phyllis wants to celebrate her victory, which means doing nothing. -- Billy and Sally are in turmoil, so they decide to head to the GCAC? OK. I guess Billy's home set had to be put in storage so we could see the Chancellor mansion hallway. -- Mark Grossman has been given nothing to do as Adam for about 5 years. -- Dominic was recast and they chose this kid??? Why does this show struggle so much with child actors? Yesterday, watching Harrison play that game with Kyle and Claire was painful. I hate to bash kids, but NuDominic is really bad. -- The Mariah storyline is a DEBACLE.
