  1. Wow...all these posts suggesting Maura West be dumped from GH or questioning that she belongs there. I feel like I'm living in a parallel universe.
  2. LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
  3. Only a few actors look better with their clothes off. Cameron Mathison looks SO much better. For a while, CM looked very thin...maybe it was for a role, but he looked ill. Now? He's back to jacked, and I want more of it. Ride, Nina, ride!
  4. Playgirl thoughts: -- The pics aren't bad, but every one of these guys has hotter photo on their own social media. -- I don't need nudes, but Playgirl doesn't know how to buy shorts and underwear and workout gear for their models. -- The group photos are the sexiest. Appreciate the way Christopher Sean splays his legs wide open. -- Christopher Sean got the best solo photoshoot. I think Paul Tefler and RSW are both incredibly hot, but the photogs failed them. -- A lot of the interview responses were canned and cliche, but they all acquitted themselves pretty well. Paul Tefler (not surprisingly) came off the best. Anyone following him on social media knows what a solid guy he is -- progressive, gay-friendly, confident in his own skin. Unless I missed something in reading quickly, Tefler was the only actor who mentioned the word "gay." He commented on the show featuring gays and acknowledged the gay audience. No one else did. I'm not calling them out, but I do think they intentionally avoid the topic. RSW has to know he's an object of gay lust, but for whatever reason won't go there. I just think It goes to the kind of human Paul Tefler is.
  5. Paul, I am so with you on this sets problem. Maybe you and I care more about this than most people, but I think we're right LOL It's all so disheartening, and it takes me right out of the story. Everything you mentioned it a problem. Last week we saw Claire sleeping on the sofa in Victor and Nikki's living room. Couldn't there at least have been a line asking why she wasn't in her room? Or are we just supposed to know she fell asleep on the couch? The tack house was nicer when it wasn't cramped and filled with stuff. There's no room to move. Victoria living there is a mess. Of course, Tessa and Mariah were finding stuffed animals that they acted like were missing for years. They've been there for only months. The GCAC? I'm glad that set is back, but having living room furniture THISCLOSE to the dining tables is absurd. Tucker not having his own penthouse is absurd. Daniel's penthouse? Also looking cramped and filled with stuff. In addition, they move that green couch around every time the set is used.
  6. Glad you enjoyed it, but you were not bullied. Someone disagreeing with you is not bullying. -- In other news, Sean Kanan was LAUGHABLY AWFUL today. I mean, that was sooooooo over-the-top it was ridiculous. I think he got an "Act like a maniac" note from the director. -- Finn and Hope are insomnia-inducing. Putting two essentially nice and sweet people together is a recipe for hibernation.
  7. Zach Tinker appeared in only 5 episodes of Fire Country. His storyline ended when he was handcuffed and taken away as an arsonist.
  8. I still don't like the Blaze/Natalia storyline at all. It feels like the writers want us to understand Natalia's feelings/upset about her daughter's sexuality, and fair or not, I'm not here for it. I think it's typical soap writing that's far behind the times. Would I be happier if Natalia was written as a blatant villain who's an outright bigot? I honestly don't know. I'd probably hate that, too. I just know that Natalia's attitude and ideas make my skin crawl, and I can't give her any passes for her age or her culture or her religion or anything else. I also hate the way Blaze is being written. ALL of this would be discussed with a performer's team, ALL of it would have answers to every possibility going forward. Are their stars today who remain closeted? Of course. But that's not the story we're getting or that we're going to get. We're getting a story written for an aged daytime demo that needs its hand held and guided to acceptance. As I said, I'm not here for it. Compare this to last night's 911 when Buck had a revelatory first gay kiss. I know daytime and primetime are different, but 911 -- although surprising and even shocking -- felt authentic and up-to-date.
  9. I see no similarities between JMM and Leo Howard as Tate. None. I don't think his age is a problem, but I feel like we're watching a different character. And yeah, it is absurd that we're now told that Holly feels romantic vibes for Tate. It's a 180 degree turn, and it just doesn't work.
  10. The only thing worse than Bradley Bell thinking this is a shocking surprise is reading viewer comments on social media what scream "I KNEW SHEILA WAS ALIVE!!! I KNEW IT!!!" I really want all of those people to delete their accounts.
  11. LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO "And now let me have some bottled water before I continue!"
  12. I'd agree with you, except for the fact that we'll probably get Brook Lynn wrapped in a thick and bulky terrycloth robe on her honeymoon while she delivers chaste kisses on pursed lips. Wasting Josh Swickard like this is a mortal sin.
  13. Hollis is the only reason to watch this show at this point. The eulogies for Sheila by Finn and especially by Deacon were putrid. Romanticizing a complete nutbag like Sheila is a joke on its face. That huge photo of Sheila had me gagging, and I still can't get over all the empty chairs and unopened bottles of water. Why roll her casket into the restaurant at all? BOLD isn't even trying anymore.
  14. Today's episode was so insufferably boring that I have no words.
  15. And what are all those chairs for? Sheila had (actually, HAS) no friends. And what's with the bottled water? Is it now a thing for people to have a bubbly water toast at a funeral? I wish Bradley and his team of suck writers were punking us, but I don't think they were.
  16. Deacon wheeled Sheila's casket into il Giardino for the viewing? Seriously??? This show....
  17. Jamie Martin Mann will be 21 years old in 2 months. He is NOT a "barely legal twink" and he's not a "kid." I said nothing wrong, and I don't think we should misrepresent others' posts.
  18. I was bored with Carly's kitchen scenes, so my mind drifted to that kitchen set. Interesting that the island is THISCLOSE to the kitchen counter. There's barely room for anyone to move in that area.
  19. C'mon, dude. You're really going to criticize him for going into theatre there? If JMM got the DAYS' job without a degree, a real degree won't hurt him. Majoring in business -- or anything else -- isn't great if that's not what you want to do with your life. Check out his IG. He clearly comes off as someone who loves the experience of being surrounded by young people his age. I'm not surprised he wants the college life. One more thing I've hesitated to say. I don't know anything about JMM's sexuality, but on IG, he's much more his real self -- and that real self is someone who is gay. I'm not criticizing -- I'm gay myself. It's just pretty obvious that his onscreen persona eliminates all those more obvious signs. Aside from that, he comes off as someone who's a good guy, who cares about his friends, and who enjoys life. I give him a lot of credit for leaving a solid TV job to get a degree.
  20. I don't think GH will have to wait 12 or 18 months to see if Nicholas Chavez wants to return. He's been taping for Ryan Murphy, and it won't take the finished product for Hollywood to decide whether to cast him in other roles. I'm sure the word is already out as to whether or not he's any good and what kind of future he has in television or film.
  21. Is it OK to mention here that the part of Tate has been recast? "On April 4, daytime newcomer Leo Howard will assume the role of Days of our Lives' Tate Black from Jamie Martin Mann, who left the soap to go to college full time, TV Insider can exclusively reveal." https://www.soapoperadigest.com/content/days-of-our-lives-recasts-tate-with-leo-howard/
  22. Matthew Atkinson has been much too lethargic for me. I understand the character being down and even depressed, but that doesn't mean the character should be played without any energy at all. Atkinson looks like he's ready for another vacation. Yeah, that black hair on Steffy does not work.
  23. I'm more distracted by how bloated Michael looks.
  24. I get that, but as far as effort goes, that's pretty minimal. I expected more with Alarr gone.
  25. -- I can't believe how many here are still posting about Jagger's hair color and hairstyle. I don't understand the near-obsession with getting a recast who looks more like Sabato, who left decades ago. -- Regarding GH firing their Black writer: Why didn't anyone there realize the optics here are horrible? That they needed to announce the addition of a POC at the same time as that firing? Yes, new head writers should get their own team. But you're telling me they can't find another Black writer??? They're either ignorant, or they just don't care.
